Food is delicious! Music is good. Table is small, but the staff are efficient at clearing plates for us. The area can get a little too smokey though.

We had a good time for a friend's birthday. The food was good and Alex our server kept the meats coming. If you're hungry, you can't go wrong here.

Another one from the Chubby restaurant group. We made online reservations a week prior for our party of 8. As expected, Friday nights are busy. Street parking but more parking in the back. This was our first time at Chubby Cattle and our server was so kind to explain the process. We splurged on the Diamond tier ($85/pp) since this option included special meats and dishes x 2. 110 minutes to dine for parties over 6 ppl. You can order from the ipad every 3 minutes. We tried everything from the menu including the ones with caviar. But the star of the show are the limited Wagyu meats served in this wooden chest with dry ice. The quality of the meats is top tier. Birthday celebrations here are also lit. Lol. We enjoyed our dining experience and would definitely come back.

Delicious meats and great service. I had an early dinner with my younger children ages eight and six, and it was very easy to satisfy both kid and adult dining preferences. The kids enjoy the interactive eating and practice cooking while scarfing down on some rice, cheesy corn and french fries. Adults had our fair share of fatty meats. Be sure to join the annual membership to get a free meal on your birthday!

I've been wanting to go to Chubby Cattle for a while and now I finally had the opportunity to go. Plus, for $55 per person it's a decent price for the quality of food that you get. We came in around 12:30pm on a Saturday afternoon and we were seated right away. Our meal comes with the first drink free so I got the sweet tea. I don't remember everything that we ordered, but I do remember ordering the Full Blood Wagyu Ribeye Steak, Full Blood Thick Cut Wagyu Short Rib, Wagyu Brisket, Prime Angus Finger Meat, Thin Sliced Beef Tongue, and Pork Belly. From the other dishes we also ordered the Salmon Carpaccio, Creamy Spicy Tom Yum Soup, Truffle Fries, Fried Tofu, Steamed Eggs, and King Oyster Mushrooms. We also got sides of Radish Paper and Wasabi to pair with the meats. There was so much food but luckily each plate came with only a little bit of meat so we were able to try a lot of variety. Every single thing we got was great, and the wasabi added a nice kick to it. The only one I would probably skip next time would be the truffle fries and the tom yum soup. The truffle fries were just extra carbs and more of a gimmick because of the truffle oil, and the tom yum soup was way too spicy for me and overpowered the other flavored in the soup. Service was great. They brought everything out pretty quickly and they constantly checked up on us. In the end they also offered Melona popsicles for dessert. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be back again. It is pricier than other kbbq spots but you definitely get what you pay for.

Beef is the start but so is the tech to get your food items. The iPad at every table makes it easy to request from main proteins, drinks , sides and condiments. I've you submit, it's pretty quick. Place feel like other bbq joints but appreciated the high flames to quickly cook your items. It's really about preference, the quality of the meats for the regular 55 package is more than enough. Our stomachs are only so big. Price is a little higher than most but so is the quality, worth the extra buck. Lively feel with quick and friendly service, great dining experience

Chose Chubby Cattle - Monterey Park for a celebratory dinner. It's a popular spot so there was a long wait time to be seated, as expected. Make a reservation if you can! The service was efficient, leveraging a tablet system. The tablet paces orders, which is fine but I'd hope for a slightly quicker pace in consideration of grilling time and the 2 hour seating limit - especially for bigger groups. The great quality meat is definitely the star of the show, but the banchan were also good and the mini ice cream was a great touch. Definitely worth the price. Hope to be back soon!

First time trying out AYCE Japanese BBQ in general, and am so grateful to have gotten the experience with Chubby Cattle! Came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and our server helped give us valuable info on how it worked and urged us on the membership program they have! I really enjoyed the experience here and exceeded my expectations truly. Our favorites of the night was the wagyu brisket and the beef tongue. We enjoyed trying out the lobster tail, wagyu otoro, shrimp tempura, wagyu cubes, and sirloin steak. Presentation of the meat plates were beautiful. Free parking in lot behind building (some spots are 30 mins max) and under basement garage as well. Great choice and experience, would definitely recommend!

What an amazing experience this place is. The food is delicious and high quality. A great place to go to with friends or on a unique date. I really enjoyed my meal and the exceptionally great service. Everything came fast even though the place was crowded. I will definitely go again.

Is it worth the price? Yes. Worth at least trying once, then you decide. Wagyu-quality beef, plenty of high quality options. Loved my time out there. Would go again for a special occasion.

We made a reservation this time so we didn't have to wait that long. We got the silver plan again, and the short rib is definitely my favorite. There's a ton of other non-beef items that are available for all tiers, and they're surprisingly good. I do wish that the nigiri was colder though, it's a bit warm for my liking.

Aside from the price, the overall food quality was excellent -- the meat was really satisfying. However, the servers seemed extremely busy, probably because there were too many orders, so our dishes were often missed or took a long time to arrive. That said, once we reminded them, the food was delivered right away.

One of my top spots for Japanese BBQ with tender meats and lots of other options. Gloria was our server and showed us the menu and explained the tiers. We opted for silver since we've been here before and just wanted some meat. Ordered via the iPad and meats started coming out quick along with the sides. One of our favorite dishes was the beef tongue, otoro, and brisket. Tender pieces of meat and has fast cook time due to how thin the pieces were. Salad was solid and good sauce. The Wagyu dumplings were very salty so I'd avoid that next time. Sushi and hands rolls were good for a meat restaurant. The desserts were not the best. Egg tart was hard and the ice cream tasted like it was melted and got refroze again having pieces of ice on it. Would prefer the flagship location in Rowland heights if I want the full experience but this satisfied my Japanese BBQ cravings.

Came here to celebrate my husband's birthday yesterday and had a great experience with the sweetest server, Ady! She helped us cook the higher tier meats to *perfection* and everything we had was so tender. We've gone to a few locations and it gets a bit smoky compared to some of the larger locations. Gold tier is our usual go-to: our favs are the otoro thick cut, rib eye, wagyu nigiri with uni/caviar, chuck eye, brisket, and beef tongue. P.S. they do a cute little surprise for birthdays so def will be back to celebrate here again!

This place is well worth the hype and definitely one of the best Korean BBQ spots in Monterey Park. We came on a Tuesday afternoon, and no wait time for a party of 4. The quality of the meats was excellent and everything was fresh, well-marbled, and super flavorful. The sides and dipping sauces complemented everything perfectly. Parking can be a bit of a hassle since it's a popular spot. It is located on the back with limited underground parking. Inside, the restaurant looked sleek and modern with a clean layout. The lighting and decor gave it an upscale but comfortable feel. The vibe was lively but not overwhelming, great for hanging out with friends or family. Our server, Erica, made the entire experience even better. She was so friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our meal. She explained everything clearly, gave great recommendations, and made sure our grill was always taken care of. You could tell she really cared about giving us a great dining experience. Between the great food, good vibes, and top-tier service, Chubby Cattle is a must-visit.

My goodness, you will definitely feel full and definitely a bit chubby after dining at Chubby Cattle in Monterey Park. If you are a red meat eater who is looking for an all you can eat restaurant, Chubby Cattle should be your destination. We decided to have lunch here recently, based on the reviews, and made our reservation. We were not disappointed. The menu offers three menu tiers: * Silver * Gold * Diamond We chose the silver tier at $55.00 and embarked on our all you can eat journey. The cuts of meat, from prime angus finger meat to thin sliced beef tongue, were outstanding. The meats sizzled feverishly as we cooked them and the cuts had very little fat. All our portions were plentiful, flavorful and fresh. Other all you can eat items for all tiers are available such as sushi, veggies, and fruit. I chose the salmon and yellowtail nigiri and was pleased with the flavor and freshness. We sat, ate, ate, and ate for the full 90 minutes. It was that good. Parking is available behind the restaurant. There is also underground parking. Enjoy your visit!

Firstly, I have heard such amazing reviews about this place and everyone says it is one of the best restaurants out there. We stopped by for my friends birthday, and thankfully we went during a not so busy time. The ambiance of the restaurant is pretty cool, it is small inside and they play some music as well. Our server, I believe her name was adi tbh I forgot but she was absolutely amazing and helped us through everything. The only thing that I didn't like but is understandable, was a lot of the marinate was cooked with peanuts and I have a severe allergy. I was limited to a lot of the food that they offered, but my friends absolutely loved it. However, my friend did get sick the following day. Overall, you should try out this place and see for yourself about the hype of the restaurant

WOW. Came here before it shut down for vermin, and came back AFTER it reopened and you might be like umm that's disgusting... BUT trust me that the monterey park location is SOOO good. Get DIAMOND TIER or NOTHING. The freshly grated wasabi?? the unlimited A5 Wagyu??? the cavier?? the uni??? the otoro?? Guys, you might be ordering the wrong thing... or just getting the wrong tier. It's so good and you won't feel heavy afterwards (bc of the high quality of the food). I say ignore the haters, eat the diamond tier, and rest in meat heaven. Also, I'm pretty sure this is Yakiniku... so not Korean BBQ.. it's Japanese. Rest in peace to all the Japanese cattle within me.

They took out the smoke! Actually really disappointed they took the smoke out from the meat display case. It's the little things that made this experience standout. And the smoke was one of them. They also took out the unlimited beers from the diamond tier which was another thing we praised prior. Toward the end of our meal, there was one lady that came to our table to "help" us cook. We were separating our tongs and grill from pork and beef (as one person in our table did not eat pork) and she mixed everything together. Not quite sure why she felt the need to do that for us when we had been cooking just fine the whole time. Food remains delicious though. Just feel they no longer are a 5 star place.

I normally go to the Rowland heights location because they have salad/drinks/side bars you can walk up to and grab your stuff. At this location, you'll be staying at your table for the entire time. Walking to the other bars helped me not feel so full l and also gives me a break in between the meats. The quality here is still very high and the service is great. They're attentive and always check on your table even during peak hours. We did wait about 2 hours for a table of 10. This was expected as this place gets very busy. The table are kind of close to each other so not a lot of walking space. This makes sense since you should stay seated at all times. You need anything, the servers will help grab it or you can order it through the tablet. Overall, 4/5 food is great. Not much more you can ask for. Expect long wait times to get a table.

One of the best yakiniku restaurant in the area. this location is also better than the one in rosemead and it has more variety. Silver tier is $55 without membership and its very very worth it. Our server Ady also gives great service!

This is the first time I have been at this location. The service and food were great. As I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a very nice gentleman. We were handed the menu and brought to the table. Our server was a very nice lady who offered fast service. She came to check on us and offered excellent customer service. Great bbq in the SGV. Granted it is pricy and the place not very large, it felt comfortable for a small group and the iPad ordering was convenient except for you can only place ordered every 6 minutes. Most of the meats were great. The seafood was good especially the Argentinian prawn and yellowtail. It was our first time here and we ordered the Silver menu $55 and I can say it hit the spot and more. The options were numerous and service attentive as well. There is a limit of 90 minutes. I will be coming back.

Ayce wagyu, what more can you ask for? There are multiple tiers you can choose from which dictate what you can order. The most premium pieces are limited to 2 per person. Other than that, it is your standard self grill setup where they bring raw meats and it's up to you to cook them to your liking. There is a plethora of cuts to choose from, but i found myself pretty satisfied after the initial premiums pieces and a round of the normal. They offer side dishes which are tasty but ultimately are meant to distract you from the main event. Not sure if this is always the case, but there were over 10 bday celebrations while we dined. We were two of them.

Great food, great service, and great ambience! They even accommodated my group of 14 well. Chubby Cattle has multiple locations around SoCal and they're also in Las Vegas. They have some locations that offer hotpot with kbbq and some that offer sushi with kbbq. This location in Monterey park is sushi and kbbq. They have a great variety on their menu and the quality and taste is definitely there. It is on the pricey end but you definitely get what you pay for and it shows in the quality of the food.

My first time at Chubby Cattle was a great experience! Definitely will be coming back for more when it's time for another feast. My gf and I ordered the gold menu, and the options were all high-quality meats. We were so hungry I only took one photo. I was impressed by the large selection and marbling of the proteins. The service was great, and I really liked how you order from the iPad. Very efficient way to run an ayce experience. Really like how the restaurant was so lit! There is a bull with shades on and the music was keeping the vibes high. They brought out happy birthday signs with singing, and the whole restaurant was enjoying the energy and food. Price was good considering the quality and atmosphere. For two I paid $180 for everything. Chubby Cattle is awesome, looking forward to my next visit.

When I tell you I'm still dreaming of this place. This was hands down the best KBBQ I've been too. You can taste the quality of the meats and the seafood. The service was nice because we just ordered on the iPad. The ambiance was also nice, I do wish that the went was a little higher because it was hard to see my party from across the table. Definitely one of my favorite AYCE Wagyu Korean BBQ spots! Went on a Saturday afternoon and was expecting it to be super busy but surprisingly it wasn't too busy! Perhaps it was because I went 15 minutes before they opened. I recommend going there 10-15 minutes before they open to avoid the crowd! Parking was somewhat challenging but there is underground parking and nearby street parking Service was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I came with my friend who brought her baby and they were very accommodating to the baby especially when the baby wouldn't stop crying! In fact, they even gave her a complimentary doll! So sweet! Inside was very clean and spacious! It can get loud so it might be hard to communicate with one another. They give you a tablet to order your items but keep in mind they limit you to 8 items every round! Also, there is 90 minutes dine-in time limit! The menu consisted of 3 tiers - Silver, Gold, and Diamond. Silver - $55, Gold - $75, and Diamond - $85. Got the Silver Tier and it consisted of 15 different meat options, as well as unlimited appetizers and sushi! Really enjoyed the Wagyu Ribeye Steak, Wagyu Tender Meat, Wagyu Brisket, Miso Wagyu Chuckeye, and Prime Angus Finger Meat! All the meats were thinly sliced but very good quality! The salmon Carpaccio was so delicious and fresh! Definitely recommend! The Takoyaki was very crispy and super delicious with a big piece of octopus inside! Finally tried this place and it was so good! We went here for lunch on a weekday so it wasn't super crowded which was great. We opted for the Gold Tier and omg the premium meats literally melted in my mouth. I wish we could've ordered more! The other meat options were pretty good too and ordered a few different kinds to make the most of the AYCE. Definitely worth the price. There's also plenty of free parking which is always nice. Great service, great quality of food, and probably the best KBBQ experience I've had. You order your items through an iPad and the staff brings it out promptly. The flavor of each meat is delicious and even their seafood is worth trying. It was my first time here, but definitely not my last.
