50Kitchen was at a festival called BLISS BOOGIE in Raleigh last week and I am STILL thinking about their Quinoa Bowl!!! It was to die for y'all!! I ate it mostly with my eyes closed, lol. I live in Charlotte, otherwise I would be eating her a few times per week. In my experience, events don't usually have food trucks that are THIS GOOD!! Love the healthy choices - a priority to me. Thank you for being delicious!

Loved this food truck!! They were located at the Tanger outlets on this particular Saturday. My mom went to order the 50Chicken Sandwich without honey sriracha sauce because she thought it would be too spicy, and the woman working offered to let my mom sample the sauce to ensure it was not too spicy. It ended up not being too spicy so we got the sandwich with the sauce. A1 customer service. Food came out hot and delicious. Definitely recommend.

We had the extreme pleasure of experiencing 50Kitchen recently! What a divine encounter!!! The honey fried cornbread, crusted St. Louis spareribs, crispy fries, and jambalaya egg rolls were to live for!!! The customer service, atmosphere, price point, and portion size was exceptional! This experience was worth the drive, and we cannot wait to come back! Our compliments to the Chef and his beautiful bride! Thank you for providing such excellent service to our communities!

I ordered the St Louis Rib Box and Jambalaya Egg Rolls. Ribs were excellent. Not fall off the bone but very tender. Really good barbecue sauce. Fries were good. Nothing out of the ordinary but good fries. The egg rolls are truly jambalaya in an egg roll and the gumbo sauce they serve with it is outstanding. I had to get a 2nd order of those. Now.... when I bit the side of honey fried cornbread?! WOW. I had to get a separate order of that along with my egg rolls. O....M.....G. They were out of their vegetarian options but good to know they have some for my vegan friends.

50Kitchen has become a fast favorite, and we have visited every Saturday since they opened. The owners are an incredible, friendly, and welcoming family, and the food is truly among the best. We have tried almost everything on the current menu and have enjoyed all of it. If nothing else, the honey fried cornbread is a dangerously delicious treat and a must have. We will be back soon!

Just grabbed some food from 50Kitchen tonight at the Smithfield fireworks show and OMGGGGG!!! The ribs were ridiculous, the fries were crunchy and tasty, BUT THE CORN BREAD!!!!! Thee corn bread 🤤 the flavor was out of this world and the texture was perfection. I ended up walking up to the beautiful lady standing at the front who was greeting customers just to tell her how much we loved their food 😍😍 Thank you for your great customer service and your insanely delicious food!

First time visiting, but won’t be the last. Loved the food with unique flavorful dishes you won’t find anywhere else. Food arrived quickly and hot. I also appreciate that the menu gave very detailed descriptions especially since I’m not familiar with an Asian fused soul food menu. Couldn’t decided what to order because every combo appeared delicious. Ordered enough to sample. Now we’ll order the rest of the menu for a future return visit. Currently open on Saturdays.

I was attending Smithfield Independence Day Celebration. Yvette greeted me with a smile, she didn’t pressure me to try her food truck I walked around and came back and ordered the 3 fried rib box with honey cornbread and hot off the press French fries . After I completed my meal I was compelled to go back to let her know how much I enjoyed my meal. Hats off to the Chef. Hopefully our paths will cross again. sincerely Ann H of Dunn NC. #bestfoodtruckever

Yelp
So here's the thing, I really, really wanted to love this place. I follow several food content creators, one of which recommended this establishment. I had this on my wishlist for sometime. Due to timing and distance I hadn't tried previously. The restaurant is located in an unassuming community kitchen with ample parking and seating. The service was warm and inviting. I was immediately greeted and placed my order. Unfortunately, due to unexpected hiccups I had a longer than normal wait time (25 mins or so). The staff was very apologetic and offered to comp an item. I never received the comp, but no worries I appreciate the thought. I ordered the gumbo, rib plate, and cornbread as an appetizer. The gumbo was clearly the star of the show and worth the wait. While I'm not a gumbo aficionado, I found the roux to be complex and appropriately spiced, in both in spice and heat levels. What I didn't like and I would have increased the scoring from a 3 to a 4 was the okra. I'm a okra fan. So I'm guessing he included fried okra to account for non okra fans. The okra didn't travel well and I didn't particularly like. However, all the other elements were very tasty. The rib plate was pretty good. I guess they fried the ribs and sauce after? The sides were fine. I would be perfectly happy with traditional sides, but I appreciated the creativity. I definitely think this establishment is worth a try. Try it and see for yourself. Non traditional soul food: 3.9 Correction: refund processed and was received the next bank day.

Yelp
Went to 50Kitchen on a very dreary rainy Saturday and received a warm welcome from their staff. The food is carefully prepared and delicious. I had the Shrimp and Grits and it was perfect low country style. Their menu has various interesting dishes so I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
I'm not surprised there aren't any reviews yet, as this restaurant is only open Saturdays 12-8 right now, but holy cow, do try them out. Our family went last Saturday and the food was spectacular. Our boys got the chicken and waffle sliders w rosemary infused syrup and apple butter - they loved them. I got the 50K sandwich, which was so delicious I made everyone take a bite, had BBQ pork with Asian pear slaw and cilantro on an insanely yummy grilled brioche bun...heaven. The side of fries were crisp and hot. My husband really enjoyed the St. Louis ribs and the sides. All in all - outstanding. The couple that runs the places are super nice - we got complimentary honey fried cornbread, which my 12 year old said was the best cornbread he'd ever had, and I had to agree. The restaurant is in the pop-up space of the Blue Dogwood Public Market. I was afraid we would't find parking, but was pleasantly surprised to find several spots in a little lot right in front (back?) of the Market on Rosemary St. The current space is used by several new culinary ventures, and it's fun and funky. They are hoping to get their own site soon. Try them out now while there's no wait!

Yelp
Visited during the Pittsboro Street Fair today. We had an order of the Jambalaya Egg Rolls and they were out of this world delicious! The chef and crew working their booth were very friendly. I will definitely be visiting their space in Chapel Hill soon! Support your local businesses!
