512 Bistro Bar & Restaurant

Restaurant was bright, airy, well decorated, and very clean. We were seated promptly and drink order was taken a few minutes later. Menu was expansive with plenty of specials to choose from. Dinner was delicious. Just one small complaint....chef was slightly heavy handed with the salt on the branzino. Other than that, no complaints. Service was exceptional as well. A fine dinner!! Will definitely be back.

Recently dined here to celebrate my birthday! All staff was so friendly & welcoming upon our arrival. We had made a reservation beforehand and didn’t have to wait at all. We were quickly escorted to our table- we were seated in the back room. I had the 512 Bistro Pasta minus the mushrooms and provolone cheese. Absolutely delicious! Both of my parents got the chicken scarpariello, which they also loved. My other two family members each got the salmon panino (one with regular fries & the other with upgraded sweet potato fries). The panini was quite substantial in size, so much so that they each took a half home! We were all too full for dessert, but the staff knew it was my birthday. They came out with a decorated plate with blueberry flan and sang to me. They also had a singing candle thing, which was a nice extra touch! They truly went out of their way to make my birthday special.

I wanted to like 512 Bistro, but I was disappointed across the board. The waiters wanted us out and tried clearing our food THREE times before we were done. We weren’t even there for an hour, it wasn’t crowded (lots of empty tables) so there was no reason to rush us. The clams were not hot and the broth was soooo salty. The bread that came with the clams was toasted perfectly, but the bread for the table was stale. The calamari was decent but served with jalapeño peppers and a relish sauce, probably wasn’t the best choice. The filet mignon panino was NOT filet mignon at all. The tuna tostadas had zero flavor. If you closed your eyes and took a bite… you wouldn’t even know it was tuna. Not sure if it was an off night or if there is a new chef… but there’s not a chance I would return. Lately, someone had a birthday party and the turned off the regular music and piped in an English and Spanish birthday song… which is fine, but it was soooo loud in every room that we couldn’t even talk over it. Save your money and your time and avoid this place.

The food was done well! Hubby loved his steak. I of course had yet another version of Eggplant Parmesan. It was good. I would order it again. I love to eat eggplant and there haven't been many versions that were knock your socks off. I just like to know that when I'm ready to have it again, there are places I can count on for a solid classic Eggplant Parmesan. 😃 Service was really good. The waiters were very attentive. ❣️

this Restaurant is Amazing the food is delicious and I’ve been going to this restaurant for the last five weeks it was a new restaurant for me and I really liked it the waiters are excellent but today I was so super disappointed because when I asked for a second basket of bread the waiter came to me and he said that it was an additional Five Ninety Nine to get a second basket of bread even though I was disappointed I told him yes give me the Basket of bread at 599 a few minutes later he comes back to the table and he says “oh I’m sorry but we cannot toast it for You” And I said but I am paying for it 599 how is it that you cannot toast it. They felt like excuses and I Felt very disappointed. I think that the owner should remove that new rule because in the Past they never said anything about charging 599 And even after agreeing to pay for it they then say they cannot toast the bread. the food is great I have no complaints about the food . waiters are excellent but this additional charge for bread is ridiculous and customer service shouldn’t offer as a purchase if they can’t even toast it.

The blackened tilapia was delicious and a big portion! Lovely service and plenty of parking.

My sister and I took advantage of Restaurant week and tried 512 Bistro. The food and service were excellent. The portions were amazing. We will definitely return. The Waiters couldn't do enough for you!

Nice place nothing special. The food was average and I dont recommend the steak. Bar was exception with a large variety of drinks. Service was very good as we were a large party and they were alwsys present without being intrusive.

Absolutely delicious food! Was attending for a special event with pre-made menu, so I can't speak to the experience of a typical customer. My favorite part of the meal was the Chicken Francese, the house salad and caesar salad were as expected (but still delicious). The portion was incredibly large and the chicken was nice and juicy with a delicious lemon/white wine sauce. I sampled a bit of my sister's pasta dish (rigatoni in meat sauce), and that was even more delicious. If I ever found myself in Briarcliff Manor, I would absolutely come back.

Great choice !!! Restaurant week menu !! Place so trendy ,waiters on point , and the food was phenomenal... place was packed, every one left happy .. plus by mistake they forgot to bring my left overs so they made another dish . definitely will be back ...

We went with friends who live in the area and it was terrific! Wonderful food and the service was perfect! Chicken Sorrentino was scrumptious and was topped with an orchid bloom! Very nice, welcoming staff. When we're in the area we'd love to dine there again!

This place is all right as long as you keep your expectations relatively low. It's a nice space but I think they're suffering from an identity crisis because the decor is a garage sale of random things and they should definitely consult somebody about finding some kind of focus for the decor. If the food was worth mentioning, I would've done it. First calamari was a little rubbery. They don't give you the option of marinara sauce. They serve it with a chili sauce like you're doing too much. You're trying too hard and you're not that unique or special. Do what you're good at For a half empty room. The service was trash frankly. This place doesn't know if it wants to be American or Italian or French and again the decor reflects that. Anyway, I went there once that's all I can say about it Been there, done that.

A very nice place if you're gonna spend to go fancy. It's not overly overpriced, and the food is worth it. The atmosphere is very nice and well worth the price. The service was excellent. I will definitely go again, and enjoyed my meal very much.

A friend and I visited 512 Bistro Bar Restaurant on a Sunday night during Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, and it was an experience to remember. Neither of us had been there before, but we decided to take a chance--and we're so glad we did! I made a same-day reservation and was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating and welcoming the staff were from the very start. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and promptly shown to our table. The ambiance was cozy yet vibrant, with a unique decor featuring paintings from major cities and a ceiling adorned with red and orange squares that gave the space a warm and inviting feel. The service was truly outstanding. Our water glasses were kept full all evening without ever needing to ask, and the pacing between courses was spot on--smooth, relaxed, and never rushed. Our server was attentive but not overbearing, always nearby when needed. As for the food, everything we had was exceptional. - For my appetizer, I had a Restaurant Week special salad--fresh mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, red beets, and goat cheese tossed in a balsamic dressing, beautifully garnished with a purple orchid. It was not only visually stunning but also generous in portion and full of flavor. - My entrée was the Salmon, broiled to perfection and topped with fresh crab in a light lemon white wine sauce. It was served with creamy garlic mashed potatoes and crisp, fresh broccoli. Every element was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. - My friend ordered the Pollo Con Portobello--a tender chicken breast topped with portobello mushrooms, roasted red peppers, zucchini, and melted mozzarella in a rich cognac reduction sauce. She was equally impressed, and both of us ended up taking leftovers home. - Of course, we saved room for dessert. I ordered the homemade tiramisu, and although I'm not usually a fan, this one was amazing! It was light, perfectly balanced with coffee flavor, and came with fresh strawberries and cream drizzled in chocolate--an elegant and delicious finish. My friend had the crème brûlée and said it was delightful as well. In short, this was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. From the warm welcome to the delicious food and exceptional service, 512 Bistro Bar Restaurant is a place I'll absolutely be returning to--and recommending to others!

This restaurant is absolutely fabulous! The Alaska crab cake and clams casino were off the hook. The peach bbq shrimp dish was so delicious. You couldn't really taste either of them because the flavor was not over powering yet it was there. The prime rib was delicious although we would have preferred it without the gravy. The drinks were great too. Wine and white cosmos were the order of the day. This is our first time here but we will be repeat customers.

We used to go here often when it was the Briars, it had become stale and outdated however. The good folks at Terre Rustica(down the street) and one of our favorite restaurants took over and livened it up some. The menu is a Latin/fusion vibe that just hits right. We were met at the door by Jose whom we recognized from Terre Rustica, he is a really nice guy. The waitstaff is attentive, friendly, pleasant and very helpful. We started with some cocktails snd dove into some fried calamari with jalapeño and Thai chili sauce. The light fry on the calamari made them crisp yet tender. Delicious. I opted for the prime rib at the suggestion of our waiter, it came with bacon mashed potatoes (yum!!) and asparagus. My wife wife went for one of the many specials offered, lobster and crab ravioli. They came in a creamy pink sauce smothered with small shrimp and scallops. Truly delicious. For dessert - Nutella churros - just wow! They were heavenly. Pricing is on par with other restaurants in the area and not out of bounds by any means. We will go back often and explore the diverse menu options. They may have just stolen us from Terre Rustica. Oh, and they do brunch!

This was our first time here. Reservations were easy to make online. From beginning to end our service was great. Our food was really good. Presentation, taste and portion size were great. The Staff was attentive and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed everything and we plan on coming back again.

Me and a couple of seniors f r om Mount kisco went today. We got there at 10:25 am for brunch. The website as well as the sign on the door says, 10:30am 7 days a week. No one was there and the door was locked. I called the number on the sign, no answer. One of the workers came and he called the manager. Also, one of the seniors called later and they said, they open at 11am. The sign as well as the website says, 10 am​

We've been to 512 well over 20 times. Service is great. Excellent menu. Food is always perfectly prepared and delicious. Fairly reasonable pricing. A great experience every time.

Ick! lots of bad seafood, we were disappointed and we paid a lot had the Oyster Rockerfella, 2 bad oysters,had to spit them out ,which has never happened before,it's not prepared traditional style, very little cheese on it, the bacon/pancetta on top was covered over the whole spinach with small bits but it was not crispy is was tons of soggy bits. Do not get the ribs small portion, extremely tuff and a cheap cut of pork, not babyback, they had tons of hard cartilage in them. the seafood with pasta again had a few bad muscles, no half of a lobster tail, just little bits of the claw cut up most from the tip of the claw cartilate.

Delicious fried calamari, Chilean seabass and seafood fra diabolo. Special requests were welcomed. I requested my sides be changed to mashed potatoes and spinach which were very good. Excellent and extensive options for drinks (Black Manhattan) and wine (The Prisoner cabernet sauvignon). Excellent service who recommended the backroom which was private and quieter with plenty of space between tables. We will definitely return.

The renovations done here are amazing, so bright and elegant. The food and drinks were outstanding as was the service. Our waiter Jose was friendly and personable. We will definitely be back very soon!

My husband sister& I went for lunch last Wednesday The service & food were ok. We were disappointed to have our debit card charged a fee. We have notified our bank, BBB & NYS Attorney General Debit cards are NOT charge cards Beware

My family and I are regular customers now. We love this place! Easy parking, always greeted with a smile. The wait staff is truly fabulous. Friendly,attentive. One of the servers always remembers that I ask for lemons and a straw with my water and brings it over first thing. The food is sooooooo good! We have never had a bad dish. The food is fresh,seasoned right and cooked right.

My family recently had a dinner party here, +/- 30 people. What a wonderful experience! The wait staff were all fabulous, very attentive and quick turnaround on drink orders. The appetizers and salad course were served family style - we had two types of salad and three appetizers. All were delicious and there was plenty to go around. For dinner I had the steak option, it was cooked a perfect medium rare topped with a red wine reduction sauce. I've been dreaming about it since! I can't wait to go back for dinner again. Highly recommend!

I have been looking for a bistro restaurant for a while and I saw a commercial on news 12 and I went with my husband. The food was amazing and the staff was very attentive! I also want to mention the decor and paintings are just so beautiful! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone I know. Again the food is amazing!!

Everything about this restaurant is wonderful! The food, the service, and the ambiance are excellent! Abel and Ethan and staff went above and beyond for my mothered 8oth Birthday celebration and we are forever grateful! My deepest that's to you Abel! Went for lunch earlier in the week. Service was very attentive and exceedingly polite. My husband had a burger which he liked very much; I had a turkey wrap, which was excellent (so many have tortillas that taste basically raw; here, it was toasted and what a huge difference that made). The salad accompanying the wrap was fresh and delicious, without being "overdressed". All around, a lovely experience at a spur-of-the-moment choice.

My husband and I dined there last night and had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious. We started with an appetizer of steamed clams, which were succulent and tasty in a light wine sauce. For main course I had the chicken dish on the specials, can't remember exact name but was Chicken con...It had portobello mushrooms, asparagus and cheese and roast potatoes in a fabulous sauce! I highly recommend it! My husband had the shrimp in peach bbq sauce served with asparagus and polenta. That was equally amazing! The service was very attentive without being intrusive. Our server Aiden was wonderful. We also chatted with the owner, Jose who is very personable and above all cares that our dining experience is top notch. We will definitely put this restaurant on our favorite rotations!

This was our second time and wow what an improvement. First time not bad but seemed expensive for decent food. We had the fish special and the vegan bowl. Both were very good and the service was friendly and quick.

Horrible experience. Would not recommend this place. Went with neighbors, burgers came out well find 2 x ordered med rare Never got it right. They were so happy to say we are not charging you for your burger. We didn't eat it. We paid for wine and ordered Chinese food from the restaurant. The bartenders are lively the owner is a fool! When we inquired about the burgers being cooked incorrectly his answer was I am not the cook. My friend said. Most owners would say , we made a mistake can I get you something? Food, cleanliness and service all poor. They sent me half my order, knew it, but didn't contact me. So an hour later, when it was delivered, they told me to come get the rest of it (which had now been sitting over an hour). When I called they put me on hold and then refused to answer the phone again when I called back after they never came back to the call. The one item I did receive had rotted lettuce. And the desserts were unremarkable, to be kind. Pass.

8 of us went for NYE. I had been before and was excited to take others there to enjoy. I made a reservation for 7:30. We arrived and the place was bustling- very festive and good ambiance. We finally were seated and find out it's a prix fixe menu. Nowhere on their website did it say this. $60/pp for a teeny appetizer and a very overcooked piece of halibut (which I didn't eat). The drinks are yummy but the food was underwhelming. Our waiter Ethan was good and took good care of us. Not sure if I'll go back.

I came to this place on a Friday night. This used to be the old restaurant called the briars. A new owner took over this restaurant, and made it a really elegant place with great food. The serving sizes are a really good size. The prices are reasonable. I ordered the special prime rib. It was delicious. The service was outstanding, and the attention to detail in this place is very good. It's no surprise that this place gets crowded.I'm looking forward to my next visit at this restaurant

Service was fine. I ordered the seafood with black risotto. I recommended that the kitchen 86 this dish. Was the worst dish I was ever served in my life.

Gave this place another shot and happy we did. We all had amazing food and service was on point. Seafood was well received. Vegan guest was happy. Drinks were well made, the wine satisfied our cork-dork friends ;) and the atmosphere was bustling- but not too loud. Happy we came back!

lovely place. Well designed space with lots of warm wood, glass, and colorful geometric sound absorbers. Food was excellent, my spOuse and I split the sinfully delicious grilled romaine salad with avocado, blue cheese, and blistered heirloom tomatoes. ( sans bacon.) I had the Chilean sea bass with chilly mango which was perfectly cooked. The mango was a little sweet for me as I lean more salty but nonetheless I cleaned my plate. My spouse had a rigatoni dish which was delicious, perfectly cooked, and well sauced. No room for dessert so next visit we will skip the appetizer and try the desserts. The service is outstanding. Attentive without being intrusive, and very pleasant. Knowledgeable about proper placement of silverware/ glassware. They did not snatch my plate when I was finished, but waited until we both had completed our meal. 512 Bistro is now on our rotation for future dinners.

Tried to go there for lunch today, having read the very good ratings it had received on Yelp. Had booked a table for 2 at noon. When we got there, the dining area comprised an area left of the bar, being used for a children's party, bar stools immediately in front of the bar just through the front door, a table set for about 16, an occupied table of 4 and one small empty table (no chairs and not set up at all) right next to the Ladies Restroom. Neither the waiter nor the barman offered us any alternative so we left and went elsewhere. So we never got to sample the food! Won't be going back - they have no clue how to operate a restaurant, despite the extensive TV advertising that had attracted us in the first place.

Probably the worst food I have had in years. The fish was cold, quinoa bland, steak was cold and bland - servers standing around, food was ordered and it came an hour later. Maitre d' was interested but powerless/ waiters didn't care and were powerless. Nice restaurant with no future. I could make excuses but the overcooked, cold and tasteless food spoke volumes.

The staff are so welcoming - especially our wonderful waiter Adrian! He gave great recommendations and stellar service! The food is excellent - the seafood was fresh, every element on the plate was in proportion, very tasty and the whole meal was so delicious it had me thinking about when I will be going back! The lobster roll with salad was fantastic and my friend had the seafood pasta which was also excellent. We had the churro dessert and it was insanely good. We were referred by other friends who raved about the excellent food and service and they were 100% right!!

Deceived and Unsatisfactory! Made a NYE reservation same day and when we called were told there would be regular menu AND special NYE menu as well. We arrived at 8 pm and were told we were misinformed and there would only be special menu for $60 pp. Too late to attempt going anywhere else so we decided to stay. Then we were told they were out of almost all entrees on menu, only available were a veal chop, the halibut, and a sirloin steak which was substituted for the porterhouse that they said they were out of! Amazed at their lack of planning but unfortunately again made the poor choice to stay. Appetizers were awful, and because of the limited entrees available we ordered the sirloin steak and halibut. The sirloin steak was the worst my husband ever had, an inferior piece of meat that a dog would probably not eat. My halibut was dry and chewy. Totally shocked at the whole experience, except for our wonderful waiter Adrian. We have dined there before and enjoyed it and can't believe that the experienced restaurant owners of 512 and Terra Rustica would plan a NYE dining experience so inferior and disastrous. In addition, I heard some parties were waiting 2 hours to get their food. Never again returning to 512!

Very poor acoustics so it's loud when they are full. This was our second time at 512bistro. First visit everything was great. Food was nice and hot. Service was also great. This time not the same experience. Waiter was not attentive. Took a long time to get drinks and food. Other tables seemed to get their drinks and food in a timely manner. When our food finally arrived all 5 plates were at best luke warm. Waiter never checked to see if we wanted refills. We had to ask the busboy for a second round.

We dined here this evening. The first thing we noticed was how beautifully redesigned it was. It was open, bright, and very welcoming. The bar area has high top tables along the windows and ample seats at the bar with a tv or maybe 2. The ambiance was perfect for an early dinner. Service was first rate. The waiters were attentive, our H2O glasses were refilled often, and they were quick to ask if we wanted more bread, or another drink. The entrees were delicious. My husband had the Soft Shell Crab and he said it was better than good. The children's Mac and Cheese was eaten quickly by our grandkids. They loved it. The Filet Mignon was fabulous. Cooked to perfection, and the asparagus and mashed potatoes were fresh and tasty. A Chicken Martini dish was really delicious. The spinach was fresh and prepared wonderfully. The chicken was tender enough to cut with a fork. It was flavorful and had sautéed peppers and green peas served on it. Another beef dish was great. I can't remember what it was called but my son devoured it. The prices are a little steep, but we will be back. It's worth it!

The food is great. The service is wonderful. The bar scene at nights is vibrant. The setting for lunch and dinner is quite inviting!

Great service and very friendly staff. I was skeptical at first with the wide variety of offerings but everyone was delighted with their meals and a lot of sharing was done. Calamari appetizers was cooked just right, not rubbery. Would definitely eat there again

This is definitely a restaurant I will go back to. As soon as we were seated the owner came over to greet us with a warm welcoming. A friend and I went for lunch, we both had the branzino filet in a lemon sauce it came with glazed sweet potato & broccoli rabe. We both asked to have the broccoli rabe switched to spinach it was no problem at all. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. It was delicious, so was the spinach and the glazed sweet potato. It was also plated beautifully. We each had a glass of wine, Merlot & a Pinot Grigio. We finished our lunch with an espresso macchiato & a cappuccino. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and gave us excellent service. This restaurant was completely renovated in a modern elegant style. Very nice ambience for any occasion. Try it you will like it!

A real find - a restaurant with good food, really great service (perhaps a bit slow but done with professionalism and good spirits and we didn't mind sitting there chatting with our friends while waiting for food), and reasonable prices. It was a Saturday night and the place was packed, but we could still hear eachother across the table. Highly recommend it.

My husband and I were planning on going to dinner at a nearby restaurant, but they had a huge party going on - so, we decided to give Bistro 412 a chance. Thank the Lord that we did!! The experience was wonderful from start to finish! Our waiter, Adrian, was personable, accommodating, efficient and thoughtful. The food was amazing! And in the end, the bill wasn't as much as we had anticipated. Furthermore, I was really impressed to see the owner helping out his staff at every turn. He was bussing tables, serving drinks, moving tables and sweeping the floor. You could really see the comradery of the entire staff! What a pleasure to see in a day and age where no one wants to work anymore. It was a great experience, and we look forward to returning soon! Thank you so much for an wonderful evening!

1st time at Bistro 512, service was great, looks fabulous, updated from the old Briars. Food was delicious. I had a lunch special of chicken topped with eggplant, cheese, veggies, mash, which also included a soup or salad. Hubby got a chicken wrap which he raved about, and the fries tasted sooo good. For drinks we tried the pomegranate margaritas which were good but then I ordered a strawberry margarita and it was way too red and syrupy tasting. As you can see in the pic. Overall we will definitely go again.

The food was over the top! Best meal I have had in a very long time! The service was impeccable! The vibe is great! Just enjoyed the entire evening! Can't wait to go back!

Just had a late lunch, early dinner at 512 Bistro. Just passing by we decided to try the restaurant. The food was excellent. Service was very good. Ethan was our server and he was very good. The manager, Dilshod, was really nice and friendly. It has a lovely atmosphere and we had a lovely afternoon. Will go back soon.

A great spot for dinner! The service and food were amazing. We traveled in from San Diego and needed a spot for dinner to break up our 3 hour drive to Massachusetts. I found 512bistro here on yelp and decided to give it a try based on 4.5 star reviews. Our family of four was very happy with our dinners. My son said it was the best chicken burger he has ever had. I highly recommend stopping here for dinner and hope our travels take us back to 512bistro!!

Our party of five experienced delicious food, gracious service, reasonable prices. Nice atmosphere. Will go again to this local establishment.

My husband and I have been here a few times and so far all the meals we have had were excellent. The bartenders are great and make great drinks. Service is outstanding.
