Austin Food Truck Song La Is Moving Into South Austin | Eater Austin
"Opening its first Texas location on October 28 at 7032 Wood Hollow Drive in Northwest Hills, 5280 Burger & Tap House focuses on burgers as well as chicken sandwiches, fries, soups, salads, frozen custard, and milkshakes (including boozy options), and pours beers with a heavy Denver focus alongside cocktails and wines; co-owners Clay McPhail and Don Redlinger opened the first 5280 in Denver in 2014 and now operate three locations there." - Nadia Chaudhury
Excellent spot!
Randomly found this place. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious! And we had an older gentlemen (could've been the owner or manager) stop by the table to check on us and even offered to give us some eggnog on the house.
Will definitely plan to visit back next time we visit Austin.

I been going to 5280 for the past 3 years as its one of the Eagles bars here in Austin but I must say that the food is absolutely delicious here. The atmosphere is very lively on Sundays for Eagles games. The bar manager Angelo takes care of us and makes great cocktails while the owner Clay is very accommodating. Cant go wrong with any of their burgers and love their brisket tacos.

Well we ordered the Mimi nachos. With the brisket on the side. But when it arrived it had brisket so we told them. But instead of remaking it they just scooped it off and added more cheese. I wouldn’t normally care. But my wife doesn’t eat beef. So that made me a little mad. How lazy can you be. It’s chips and cheese and topping??
Burger had a soggy bottom bun. And definitely wasn’t cooked medium.
Cheeseburger egg rolls are bland and really just too many tomatoes.
I will not be going back to this place.

I really liked this place for what it is. burgers and fries were very good. Service was good as well. Liked the menu. We spent 40 for 2 people at lunch, so kinda pricey. Only got burgers shared a large fry and no drinks.
I'll go back
