"If you visit 53 Kitchen & Cocktails any day of the week during the winter season, you’ll find skiers and snowboarders still suited up, toasting to a successful day on the mountain. It’s an easy stroll from the gondola at The Village, and a nice spot to settle in for a hearty meal or pre-dinner snack. Choose from five different types of chicken wings (we like the peanut-soy glaze), or go for the bourbon-braised short ribs with mashed potatoes. There are plenty of cocktail choices, but you can't go wrong with the Dirty Shirley Temple, which adds vodka to the Sprite and grenadine combo. One thing we appreciate about this place: they'll deliver if you’re staying at the Village Lodge." - Danielle Bauter

I went there with my friends hoping to get a good meal and drinks. I ordered chili, which was not bad. My friends ordered garlic fries and fried chicken sandwich which were below expectations. Fries were soggy and the sandwich was just average. A friend of mine also ordered a Long Island drink, it wasn’t strong enough- when he asked for a second drink he requested to make it stronger but the server told us that they don’t customize their drinks. Overall, it wasn’t a value for money.

Overall good was tasty. Fries were cold when it was served. The manager was great. She brought over a ton of piping hot fries, even more than the 2 plates we had. She also took a picture for us. With the Mammoth mountain service fee it is pricey. It adds an additional 18% on top of tax and tip. We enjoyed having dinner there at 53.

Their service was acceptable, a little bit of waiting for the food to be ready, try variety of beers, appetizers and flatbread, mussels dish recommended, be careful their garlic mac and cheese is too garlicky

Great service. Nachos were different with a Nachos cheese sauce and lots of fresh avacodo. Drinks are pricey.... drink the beer and wine. Hamburger was huge and delicious.

Hardly anyone here at lunch, but the service is pretty slow. But once order finally taken, cooks got food out quickly. Resort prices: yummy roasted cauliflower, $12, delicious kids chicken tenders $12.

Weekend trip to Mammoth. The group was trying to figure out where to eat. Craving wings but we couldn't find a dedicated wing spot and then we found this GEM. They have some of the best hot wings I've ever had. And I now know what a pound of fries looks like! Shout out to the server. One of the best experiences I've had in a long time. Dude really said he shows up in ski's to work during a snowstorm. Love it! I hope to be back soon!

Ordered a burger for dinner, protein option which means no bun and with a fried egg. Wait person brought a burger on bun sans egg. He corrected it quickly when I brought it to his attention. Burger was very good. Wait staff checked in on me frequently. Background music was too loud for me. Burger was $16 but I felt it was worth it considering ambiance of restaurant. Reason for 4 start not 5 was music was too loud.

The food wasn't very impressive. The overall service was not too great. We had ordered for wings, flatbread, some steaks. Apart from the wings, the flatbread and steak weren't really tasty. The staff who was helping was, was friendly and helpful but not really attentive. We were asked to take a table but the same was totally unclean. The main course was served even to our small table when we were still working on our starters. But the staff took back the food though and brought it back later(i do appreciate this). The restaurant has outdoor seating.
