Spicy Food, Fun Vibes I’ve been eating here for almost 8 years and always loved how bold and spicy the food is, super flavorful and perfect for casual hangouts. Recently though, the taste feels a bit different, maybe they changed the chef or the seasoning. Still, the vibe hasn’t changed! It’s always lively, and the staff are super friendly and cute. A go-to spot for good food and good times.

It was such a vibes and food was good. Service was very attentive. They open til very late so it’s perfect for late arrival or after drinking goers

I just tried the barbecue there, the ingredients are fresh. However, the waiters/ menu should state that the food is spicy, or provide other favour for client. Meanwhile, it is not convenient for tourists that they are not accepting card payment

The food is just ok, same as any other local restaurant. The meat portions are very small, literally less than 100g of meat for the grill. At the bottom they filled with onion so the pile looks good but is just a handful of meat. Same for hot pot, is about half of usual quantity that would serve in other places. I am traveling a lot in Vietnam and I spend many months each year in Ho Chi Minh so I can give a fair review.

Deliciously marinated BBQ, cooked on top of small charcoal stove at your table. Ribs are very tender. Food generally is good. But this shop price all the bbq dishes at the same price, so some dishes come in large portions. Not easy for small dining group of 1-2 pax. The place is a bit smokey due to the bbq at the tables around.

Superb experience here! Food was fresh and tasty! Service was great! Atmosphere was fantastic! Will definitely be back again to try the other food in my next trip! Was crowded tho, so I think I have to go earlier next time! Secret tip: sit by the edge of the restaurant if you don’t wanna get smoked up. However, you might be able to smell the drain from time to time too 🤣😅

The bbq here has a reasonable price and the ingredients are fresh. Give it a try!

I recently visited 5KU Restaurant, hoping for a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst meals I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, the service was lackluster. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, which set a negative tone for the evening. The menu looked promising, but the reality was far from it. The food was truly disappointing. The dishes lacked flavor and freshness. The ingredients appeared to be of poor quality, and the presentation was unappetizing. Even the simplest items, like the salads and appetizers, were subpar. The main courses were equally unimpressive, with overcooked meats and bland sauces. It was clear that there was no attention to detail in the kitchen. Adding to the unpleasant experience, the ambiance of the restaurant was noisy and chaotic, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. Despite the high prices, the overall quality of food and service was severely lacking. In summary, 5KU Restaurant failed to meet even the most basic expectations. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a good dining experience. Save your time and money and choose another restaurant.
