Chicago’s Best Irish Pubs and Bars for St. Patrick’s Day | Eater Chicago
"Head to the Irish American Heritage Center for some cultural history to go along with that pint of Guinness. Check out an art exhibit or pick up an Irish wool sweater in the gift shop before stopping into the Fifth Province, a traditional pub for folks to gather and enjoy live music and classic fare like corned beef and bangers & mash." - Sam Nelson

A cozy bar hidden in the neighborhood. Best kept secret in Chicago. Best part is the live music every Thursday night. The food selection is minimal to just usual bar fare but plenty of Irish beers, whiskey, and craic

Great food. Fairly classic pub fair with some surprising ringers. Great hummus. I love their BLT and Fish and Chips. Good snack.

I was here to listen to Alderman Ameya Pawar speak. The Alderman's speech was as inspiring as the Irish American Heritage Center was interesting!

The sign on the wall very clearly said they close at 12:30am, but when we came in around 12:05 they said they were already closed because "the hours change each day." There were at least half a dozen other customers sitting at the bar having drinks.

The pub inside the Irish American Heritage Center is fun and everyone is friendly. Whether you want to watch a football match or enjoy the live music that they have on some weekends you can't go wrong. Always a fun time there!

What a great to listen to music with friends or on a date We've only had their fish and chips, but the beer battered onion rings and burgers look good.
Make sure to visit the gift shop. Ask for Reese. He's the four legged furry employee.
