6 Tables - Review - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"There’s a brunch place in Cow Hollow that has a little bit of everything. According to the 6 Tables menu, the upscale restaurant has six different regional brunches: American, English, Asian, Middle Eastern, Sri Lankan, and Hispanic. A few sake cocktails, beer, and coffee and tea-based lattes round out the drink program. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

6 Tables is a delightful brunch spot located at 1849 Union Street in San Francisco’s Marina District. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with minimalist decor that sets a relaxing tone. Their menu offers a unique blend of international flavors, with standout dishes like the Chicken & Hojicha Waffle—a creative twist on the classic—and the Asian Plate, which brings authentic tastes to your palate. The Black Sesame Latte is a must-try for coffee enthusiasts. Despite its popularity, especially during weekends, the staff remains attentive and friendly. Making a reservation is advisable to ensure a smooth dining experience. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, 6 Tables offers a memorable brunch experience that shouldn’t be missed.

Disappointing Experience – Cute but Lacking in Flavor Visited 6 Tables in San Francisco with three friends for a birthday celebration, and overall, we left feeling underwhelmed. The presentation is undeniably cute, and the vibe is stylish, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the price point or expectations. I ordered the Sri Lankan dish, which sounded interesting but was difficult to eat and not enjoyable. The over-easy eggs were served in a soft, thin edible bowl alongside cold, hard rice blocks and curry with potatoes—but there was no real way to mix or enjoy the flavors together. I asked the server for guidance but didn’t get a clear response. One friend had the shakshuka and said it was just “okay.” We also tried the mochi waffle on the side, which was chewy but otherwise unremarkable. The highlight? The truffle fries. Genuinely tasty and well-seasoned. The restaurant did make a gesture for my friend’s birthday with a card and ice cream, which was appreciated—with a surprise $9 charge for it on the bill. Luckily it was credited. But, at nearly $70 per person with just a drink and a meal, it simply wasn’t worth it. If you’re looking for a cute, Instagram-friendly spot, this might be your place. But if you care more about flavor and value, I’d suggest going elsewhere.

Went there Sunday around 10 AM with plenty of seating, and by around 11:30 the place was full! Definitely recommended going early or making a reservation. The service was great, and the menu had a great variety of creative and inspired dishes. Everything was ate was delicious, with a special shoutout to the chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy, and the hojicha were subtle which a great texture.

Google
Disappointing. Great atmosphere and good service. However, even though the food and drinks sound great on paper, they lack in flavor. Of the ones we had, I’d only recommend the tiramisu drink. Given so many good options for brunch in the city, I struggle to justify returning.

Google
The Salmon bowl was very good here. Pouring the dashi/green tea broth over the rice really took me back to being in Japan. That felt pretty authentic. The Sri Lankan dish was also good, though it felt like more of a fusion. I thought the rice cake was kind of a weird consistency, but the egg hoppers were really nice! We also had the Black Sesame latte (okay) and their Hojicha Witches Brew, which was pretty tasty. Though I found the drinks to be pretty pricey for what they were. I guess that's just the cost of brunch in SF though. As for service, we were sat immediately since we went right after they opened for the day, and the servers were very attentive! No complaints there. While it won't be a regular spot for us I can definitely see us coming back for special occassions.

The cutest place ever and the food was SO good like I was shocked. The salsa was amazing with the Mexican style breakfast and everything was very fresh. The fruit was very fresh and sweet. The side salad was also perfectly seasoned. My partner got the scallop toast and said he could eat it all day and I agree. The only thing that was out of place was the fries were a bit cold. But everything else was so good and beautiful that it didn’t matter. Everytime I love a place, I don’t have much to say. Just go and visit: it’ll be worth it. I don’t think you can order anything bad.

I was invited by DJ Parrot to check this cozy place out on Union. The energy, vibe was very welcoming. I came late afternoon but still got some brunch time in. I ordered the salmon BLT and a mango sake drink. They were delicious. My eyes fell in love with the table next to mine as I notice the chicken and waffle plate. o.m.g. I know what I’m getting next time I visit. Having a DJ place music live made the space so amazing. Promise to take more photos next time.

I recently visited a new wine bar in town, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm, inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances elegance and comfort. Soft lighting, cozy seating, and tasteful decor set the mood for a relaxing evening. The wine selection is absolutely stellar, featuring an impressive range of varietals from around the world. The staff is not only knowledgeable but genuinely passionate about helping you find the perfect glass (or bottle) to suit your palate. They were happy to make thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences, and each suggestion was spot-on. The small bites menu was equally delightful. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and paired wonderfully with the wines. It’s clear the team has put a lot of thought into creating a cohesive experience. This wine bar is a gem that combines amazing atmosphere, top-notch wines, and outstanding service. Whether you’re looking for a casual night out or celebrating a special occasion, this place is perfect. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Yelp
We came by for brunch at 10am on a Saturday (had reservations) but if you were to just walk in, there is no/minimal wait, which, I don't know why! The service was extremely nice and the interior is so pretty! Don't even get me started on their bathroom! If you go, go to the bathroom, just take a peek it's very elegant and modern. The food is extremely instagrammable and also very delicious: yummy for the eyes and the stomach. I wish I liked matcha because the table next to us had matcha drinks that looked simple delectable!!! We had ordered black seasame latte instead which had a slight seasame taste (mine had oat milk vs my grandma's had regular milk and the regular milk's seasame taste was way stronger) but the coffee was very fresh and delicious. My grandma tends to be a snob when it comes to restaurant coffee (sorry grandma!) but she was satisfied with this one! Waffle: The chicken and waffle is delicious! The chicken is made with a kaarage exterior which leaves it extremely crispy on the outside and extremely juicy on the inside. Once we cut into the chicken, it was simply oozing with juices. The waffle is also very flavorful and mochi flour was used so it has a nice bounce/bite to it (bite as in mouth movement and not spice). Shashuka: I have only ever had shashuka once before (at a catering event) so I can not say if it is authentic or not, all I know is I enjoyed it! It was flavorful and saucy. The pita bread to shashuka ratio was perfect! English Breakfast: similarly to the shashuka, I cannot guarantee it's authenticity but rather only it's tastiness. And it was a full English breakfast! Everything in it tasted exactly what was prescribed. Garden Omelette: It was FILLED to the brim with stuffing. The potatoes weren't SUPER crispy which gave off a more "healthy" vibe (which makes sense given the garden omelette is made with only egg whites) but were flavorful and seasoned! TLDR: so far, the food is delicious - I highly recommend the chicken and waffles (I think it's the highlight).

Yelp
Chicken Karaage & Hojicha Mochi Waffles - The crispy, golden-brown chicken karaage is delightfully tender on the inside, with a savory umami flavor that's perfectly complemented by a hint of garlic and ginger. Paired with the hojicha mochi waffles, the hojicha syrup enhanced the subtle roasted tea flavor and added a touch of sweetness and complemented the savory chicken. Honestly, I wish they sold the hojicha syrup itself! Salmon Chazuke w/ Dashi Green Tea - The salmon chazuke with dashi green tea delivers a wonderfully warm and savory experience. The salmon was well cooked and the dashi green tea broth infuses the rice and balances the richness of the salmon! I would highly recommend this if you're looking for a comforting dish! Check out my ig: @deez_noms for more food reviews!

Yelp
I returned for lunch in between the rainy weather earlier this month and I just LOVE this cute, charming, cozy restaurant! The ambiance is wonderfully relaxing and the staff is so friendly and welcoming each time I visit! :0) I ordered the Snow Crab Omelette that was cooked to perfection - light, gorgeous and tasty. I wish there was more crab in it though, I didn't taste too much snow crab unfortunately. The toast was perfectly toasted and very thin so it was delightful to eat! The fresh fruit variety was colorful and fun to eat! I also had the Bottomless Mimosas. I tried all 3 flavors - Raspberry, Peach and Orange. I liked Orange the best so I had 2 of those. The Raspberry & Peach were on the sweeter side so in my opinion, overly sweet. I don't like too much noise or crowds so I make an effort to go on the off hours and thus far, it works out fabulous for me to relax and enjoy their beautiful ambiance while enjoying a delightful meal and drink. Thank you for the wonderful and friendly service and the tasty, fun food! Can't wait to return again soon! :0)

Yelp
Very cute aesthetic brunch spot in the Marina! Walked in on a holiday and got seated right away at the bar. For weekends & holidays, definitely recommend you to make a reservation on opentable! (Their Yelp page says to call to make a reservation but that's false.) DRINKS - Tiramisu Latte 2/10: I had such high hopes for this drink because the presentation was so cute but unfortunately, I was let down. The menu listed double espresso but I really couldn't taste it in the drink. The drink was overpowered by the milk and heavy dusting of coco powder on top. - Witches Brew (hojicha with matcha cream) 6/10: decent matcha flavor, hojicha was lacking. Wasn't bad but definitely not worth $12. FOOD - CHICKEN & WAFFLES 6.5/10: what originally made me want to try 6 tables was this dish because the waffle is hojicha flavored!! having tried it, its decent. Chicken was juicy and moist. Waffle had a slight hojicha flavor but was a little too hard and would've loved more chewiness. - SALMON CHAZUKE 7/10: love the simplicity and umami flavor of this dish! The broth paired so well with the rice and salmon. This was my favorite thing I've tried! Overall, drinks were underwhelming. I wouldn't order it again given the hefty price tag ($12 each drink, $1.5 for milk alternative). As for food, wasn't amazing but I'd come back and try their other dishes. What stands out about 6 tables is the presentation of its dishes. If you're looking for an instagrammable spot with cute vibes, then this is the spot for you! The restaurant would make a cute backdrop for birthdays or special gatherings. Parking: metered parking on Union street, plenty of residential parking in the surrounding area. Could be a little hard to find on the weekends!

Yelp
Came here for brunch on a Sunday morning for a party of 2 and was seated immediately. We ordered the black sesame latte, waffles and chicken, and the Asian plate. Every thing was delicious and the inside was really aesthetic and cute! I think I'm just slightly thrown off by the black sesame latte being $10. If it were to be under $8 I would probably give this place a 5 star review. Overall I think it's on the more expensive end for brunch but enjoyed my experience!

Yelp
This place is beautiful. All the details.. Went for brunch. We had a reservation so our table was ready when we arrived. So many yummy options to choose from! I had the Witch brew. So happy they had Hojicha + Matcha. It was a tad sweet for me but just for reference, I like lattes without sugar. It came with a heart shaped straw, how cute is that?! The waffle with chicken karaage was perfection. Big portion, I recommend to share it. Can't wait to go back!!

Yelp
6 Tables is an adorable spot, perfect for dates or group gatherings. The aesthetic is stunning, making it ideal for Instagram-worthy food photos. We made a reservation in advance, so there was no wait time, which was a big plus. We tried the Salmon Chazuke, Shakshouka, Matcha on Fire, and another drink. The food was decent overall, and I'd definitely come back. If you're unsure what to order, I recommend the Salmon Chazuke. The concept of pouring soup over rice reminded me of Unagi-don in Japan, it was flavorful and satisfying. The Shakshouka is also a solid choice if you're craving something savory. I appreciated the addition of fruits to refresh the palate. The Matcha on Fire lived up to the hype, though the other drink fell a bit short. Overall, we had a great dining experience and would recommend giving this place a try.

Yelp
Excellent new brunch spot in the Marina! They feature international brunches. I've been here a few times for brunch now and I really enjoy the chicken & waffle. The waffle is made of mochi, so it's very chewy and the chicken is super crunchy. I also recently tried the salmon ochazuke, which is probably my favorite entree that I've tried here so far. The salmon is perfectly seared and the tea soup is delicious. Love the salmon eggs and green onion and everything in the soup. I also like their specialty drinks, like the red velvet latte. Highly recommend checking 6 Tables out if you're looking for a brunch spot in the Marina.

Yelp
We had reservations for brunch on Saturday, 1/4 at 12:15pm. We got here a few minutes early, snagging a parking spot just right outside. Pro tip: there seems to only be street parking so plan accordingly! The restaurant was super busy when we arrived. We got seated right away, just my cousin and I. We got to ordering our drinks. I got the Matcha on Fire and it was stunning and delicious. For food, we ordered the "Asian" (salmon chazuke) which is a rice with ikura and salmon and a side of broth. It was surprisingly really good and flavorful. I've had other iterations for this dish before and the salmon here was perfectly cooked. The only thing I wish I had was some chili oil LOL. We also got the "Sri Lankan" (egg hopper) which was also very good. It came with two eggs, a side of coconut rice and a side of yellow curry which was creamy and a tad sweet. Both dishes came with a cutest side of fruit too. Something we were a bit disappointed in was the sweet brunch item options. They didn't have much (from what we saw, it was just either pancakes or chicken/waffles), which was quite a bummer. We wanted a super sweet French toast or something, and based on photos, the pancakes didn't look too appetizing tbh. Overall, the drinks were pretty and probably the highlight. Food was okay and nothing to be super excited about. Hoping to try other items to get a better idea of the menu. The restaurant itself was gorgeous and the servers were very nice and attentive, but towards the end of our meal, we felt a little rushed. I understand it's a Saturday during brunch/lunch, but we were probably only sitting for about a little over an hour.

Yelp
A lovely way to start off a new year! Made a reservation for 3 people on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. I've been super excited to try 6 Tables since I've heard only good things. It did get busy and loud, so definitely make a reservation. Drinks Ordered: Witches Brew (10/10): I normally prefer hot drinks, but this was delicious. I loved the depth of the hojicha, and the matcha cream wasn't too sweet. Americano: My friend drank this, so no score, but he liked it. Caffeine Tea: My other friend chose jasmine tea and really enjoyed it. Food Ordered: The Asian (10/10): I love chazuke, but it's rare to find one that isn't too fishy or salty. This one was perfect, with a well-seasoned salmon that still had crispy skin. The tea broth had a wonderful umami flavor that enhanced the dish without making it too fishy. The ikura (salmon roe) was a great touch. Hojicha Mochi Waffles (10/10): A side portion was enough to almost be a meal. The hojicha flavor really stood out, and I loved the texture of the mochi waffle--it was light and fluffy yet perfectly chewy. Steak Chimichurri with Truffle Fries: My friends both ordered and inhaled the sandwich and fries, so I'd say they really liked it. It's definitely SF pricing, but it's worth it. The food was delicious, with generous portion sizes that kept me full until dinner. The servers were so kind and attentive, checking in on us and refilling water throughout our meal.

Yelp
Super cute asian fusion brunch spot! Came for a friends bday and all the staff signed a card for her which was so sweet we split a french toast & their latin platter and both were so good!! Interior is so cute + had amazing service

Yelp
This place has the best drinks. I had their yuzu-Licious which reminded me of Mosambi juice (just something I used to drink as a kid back in India). Most of their cocktails are sake based. 10/10 for presentation of food and drinks. For mains I got the garden egg white omelette served with house potatoes and fruit cup. Once again, everything on my plate was delicious. The attention to detail - even the fruit cup was well made and presented. Can't rave enough about this place. Will definitely come back for their "matcha on fire" and more food. Great ambiance. We were a group of 4 celebrating galantines and couldn't have asked for a better ambiance !

Yelp
Came here for brunch the other day and it was pretty good. We got lucky and didn't have to wait long for a table. We ordered the chicken and waffles with hojicha syrup, the Asian specialty brunch (which was a salmon rice bowl with salmon roe and dashi green tea), witches brew and mimosa. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the dashi green tea was a nice addition to eat together with the rice. The fried chicken and waffles were solid. I feel like you usually can't go wrong with that. Witches brew was tasty and I wish I got that instead of the mimosa lol Service was great. Our waitress was very attentive and checked in on us a few times. *Also, there is only one bathroom for the whole restaurant so be prepared to wait if there is a line.

Yelp
My husband and I met up with some friends here for brunch and we all enjoyed our dining experience. The drinks and food are creative in both taste and presentation, and we all left full. Everything is a bit on the pricier side, but that's to be expected for brunch in SF. The only downside was that it is cold inside (almost just as cold as outside, haha), and so we kept our coats on for the entire meal. We got a reservation through OpenTable a few weeks in advance--would recommend doing that for a seamless experience!
google avatar

Ivy K.

Yelp
The interior is very cute and I liked the aesthetic. The hojicha waffles and karage were good but I wish the hojicha flavor was stronger! Note that they are mochi waffles so the texture is more chewy. The fruit that goes with the chicken was refreshing and complimented it well. The salmon chazuke was really good and I liked the touch of adding salmon roe. I didn't order any drinks because $12 is kinda crazy honestly idk if any drink is worth that price ‍

Yelp
Ventured into the city for the day since I had to pick up my Caviar Co so wanted to choose a restaurant nearby. 6 tables showed up on yelp and everything looked extremely instagrammable. It definitely did not disappoint. The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing. I love the furniture and color scheme. We came on a Monday for lunch and it was empty so no wait. Service was great - both women were super friendly. They were also very prepared with toddlers and gave mine her own plate and cutlery which was an awesome touch! Ordered the tiramisu latte, a yuzu cocktail, the asian, crab benedict, and the mediterrean. Everything was so tasty! Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Great place and a date spot for a japanese style fusion brunch. Service was quick and servers were friendly about recommendations. Check this place out and we'll be back to try more drinks!

Yelp
Came here for a friend's birthday brunch and this is a beautiful place to celebrate a special occasion. The prices were on the higher side, so I probably wouldn't come here for a casual type of meal. The concept is really cool, they have a brunch menu featuring 6 different cuisines-- American, English, Asian (Japanese), Middle Eastern, Sri Lankan, and Hispanic. I ordered: - Witches Brew: one of my most favorite cafe drinks I've had in recent times, it's a hojicha latte with a matcha cream top and the flavors were perfectly balanced; honestly everyone's drink looked so beautiful - Chicken and waffles: tasty, I think the hojicha syrup & hojicha waffles made the dish very interesting, cannot go wrong with this The service was good and quick. If you want beautiful food and drinks that also taste good, check this place out! (also omg they have heart shaped straws, such a cute touch!)

Yelp
Super cute new brunch spot in the Marina. Service was great and they accommodated a large group which was very appreciated. They have 6 different breakfast cuisines which is why it is named 6 tables. Great, fancy coffees and very unique menu.

Yelp
If you're looking for a fancy brunch place, look no further! My husband and I just heard about this new aesthetic spot and luckily it was not busy on a Friday afternoon. We were very excited to try their Asian styles meals and were so impressed with the flavors and the spin on traditional brunch items. What we ordered: -Tiramisu Latte: subtle tiramisu taste, but strong espresso flavor for a latte. it was fun dipping the lady finger biscuit in the drink -Matcha on Fire: strong matcha flavor with a hint of rose -Asian Specialty Brunch: the dashi green tea was well seasoned and paired well with the salmon and rice. just note that it has a fishy smell if you're not used to that -Waffles: loved the karrage chicken- crunchy and well breaded. the mochi hojicha waffles were crispy on the outside and soft inside with a nice hint of flavor (after adding the hojicha syrup more flavor comes out) We would order all these items again! The service is top notch. The moment we sat down, the server gave us recommendations and was extremely attentive the whole time. She even asked what they could improve on! Expect meter parking unless you want to walk further and uphill into the residential area.

Yelp
NEW brunch and bites spot in the city! @6tables.sf is a sister restaurant of the popular @tadaima.sf and @okaerisf and they're having their soft opening starting tomorrow 10/16/2024. Their name is from the six regions of the world that inspire their brunch menu. We had the pleasure of having a sneak peak and everything is so unique, you're sure to find something you haven't tried before. For us, we never had hocjicha mochi waffles before or Sri Lankan and we enjoyed them both! Our favorite was however the salmon ochazuke they also have many unique drinks to pair with your meal. Whoever designed the inside is a genius because it's so pretty! - -- -- - Blue Coco Asian (Salmon Ochazuke) Sri Lankan Chicken & Waffles (hojicha mochi waffles!)
google avatar

Kelly R.

Yelp
Fun spot for brunch with lots of different cuisine options! Reservations are definitely recommended for groups bigger than two, as it's a smaller space. The fried chicken and waffles stole the show with the juicy crispy chicken complemented by the mochi waffle! Shakshouka was also very tasty but wish it had another egg in it. Staff are very friendly and attentive.
google avatar

Ash J.

Yelp
A great spot for a fancy, "elevated" brunch. I ordered the Sri Lankan combo meal which was delicious. It comes with 2 eggs in a dosa like exterior, along with a small bowl of coconut curry, a tiny bowl of fruits, a couple squares of rice and a small portion of mango chutney. My only complaint was the portion was a bit small. You might balk at the prices but I'd say its worth it if you're looking to try something different / for an occasional indulgence. The Sri Lankan set was $27, and for reference omelettes start at $25 and all of their iced lattes start at $12-$13. As mentioned the food tastes great but you're also paying for the ambiance, presentation and creativity of the food and drinks. Service is excellent - the staff explained what each part of the dish is and were very attentive. A nice twist on brunch!

Yelp
Went back to check out their brunch menu! I highly recommend to chicken and waffles! I was impressed by the fried chicken and how easy it was to pull apart. The service was fast and the place was packed! We walked in as a group of 2 but I suggest making a reservation for larger parties.
google avatar

Diana T.

Yelp
The ladies working there are the sweetest! We saw this place on tiktok that highlighted their brunch options but when we were searching for dinner options, this also came up. Their dinner menu has a mixture of shared plates and a la carte items. We got the brussel sprouts, mushroom flatbread, chicken curry with garlic pita, hokkaido scallops, and salmon chasuke. They were all so good but spotlight on the scallops and their cocktails! Would definitely come back to try their brunch items.
google avatar

Yelp
I recently visited for a birthday brunch, and it didn't disappoint. The restaurant is small, so definitely make a reservation. The service was outstanding, with staff consistently checking in to make sure everything was good. I had the snow crab benedict, which was delicious, and the hollandaise sauce was perfect. The real highlight was the tiramisu latte--sweet, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I'll definitely come back to try other things on the menu.
google avatar

Sandy L.

Yelp
The restaurant was super cute; it had soft sage natural wood feel. You can judge a business by the conditions of their restrooms and their restrooms were clean and cute! :p we were able to snag a spot Sunday morning -- it does get busier as it hits the afternoon time. The staff were really nice (& their outfits were ), they were attentive. always asked if we're doing okay & if we needed anything. The food was good, the chicken and waffles were delicious. The porridge dish was good. The Avocado toast was good too. The steak sandwich was... I'd pass. I got the steak sandwich, the steak was dry and the bread cut the roof of my mouth. I couldn't finish the other half because... it wasn't that great. The fries were delicious!

Yelp
We did walk in on Sunday around 12:30PM and was able to get seated. They offer reservations online, highly recommend doing that as the restaurant was packed. Love their specialty brunch menu with a diverse variety. Overall their food and service was great and would come again! We got: Matcha on Fire for drinks, salmon chazuke (the green tea dashi paired really well with the rice), and shakshouks

Yelp
New brunch spot in the Cow Hollow/Marina area! My uncle made a reservation for Saturday through OpenTable. The interior is modern and super cute! Our waitress was very nice and gave us a rundown of the menu. The restaurant's name comes from the six regions of the world that influence their brunch menu: American, English, Asian, Middle Eastern, Sri Lankan, and Hispanic. For drinks, we ordered the Blue Coco, Matcha on Fire, and Black Sesame Latte. My favorite was the Matcha on Fire--it had the perfect balance of rose and matcha and wasn't overly sweet! For food, we ordered: - Asian: The Salmon Ochazuke was hearty and one of our favorites! - Sri Lankan: The Egg Hopper was our favorite! We loved the yellow curry flavor! - Middle Eastern: The Shakshouka was good, but not one of our favorites. - Chicken and Waffles: The chicken karaage wasn't my favorite; it was a little too floury. The Hojicha mochi waffles were definitely the star of the dish! I loved the flavor and mochi texture. - Mushroom Sandwich with Truffle Fries: The mushroom sandwich was another favorite! It had great flavor and came with lots of fries, though the sandwich was a bit small. The only downside is that it's a little pricey. Overall, the food, drinks, and service were excellent! Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Yelp
Finally got the chance to try this place when working a few doors down. Sat at the counter and the waitress who assisted me was so sweet and very attentive with me making sure I was good the whole time. Bao Bao was okay. A little too dry for me- was not my favorite. Will most likely try the shrimp toast next time. Sri Lankan was soooo good. I like that they had different culture menu foods to try. I wasn't a fan of the sweet rice i think it was. I was expecting it to be warm and soft. I know it's because I didnt know much about the Sri Lankan cuisine. So I didn't really understand eating it. Chicken and waffles were glorious. So much chicken. It was soft and juicy with crispy outside. So yummy. The waffle was not too sweet with a chewy texture! Overall, would go again to get the Sri Lankan or try a new dish!

Yelp
This place is beautifully decorated (even the bathroom!) and the service is very friendly. The Cali Cali omelette was satisfying. Each table has ketchup, Tabasco hot sauce, and black truffle hot sauce, the last of which I really liked because it was the perfect middle ground for my potatoes. Cons: The Black Sesame Latte (pricey at $11) was very pretty, but tasted so-so. Service was good except they kept attempting to clear our plates too early, before we were finished eating or drinking. (They tried to clear my omelette plate three times.) I also hope they develop more elaborate dishes, like a more creative French toast. Other than these points, I recommend the restaurant for brunch.

Yelp
Fantastic brunch spot, seated at a high table was great! Food was fantastic, quality was beyond my expectations, and the service was super kind and friendly.

Yelp
I usually am not a brunch person because long wait + expensive price point for eggs = no for me. So when I heard 6 tables serves up 6 different cuisines, I was instantly fascinated! It did not disappoint. Top 3 - Asian (the salmon dish), steak chimichurri sandwich with truffle fries, and a toss up between Sri Lankan and the Chicken & Waffles (chicken was delish but waffle was meh). Definitely would pass on the drinks, all of us agreed they were below average and pricey ($12). I'd recommend booking a reservation if you have a party of 4+.

Yelp
When I first walked in, I couldn't help but compare the interior of 6 Tables to Tadaima and Okaeri Bistro. Turns out their head chef serves at all the 3 locations!! Something to keep in mind, if you're going to make a reservation for more than 6 persons, each person is to spend a minimum of $35 to count. My friend and I didn't want to force our friends to spend above $35 on their meal so we split it into 2 reservations. Thankfully we were a group of 7 and the staff were very flexible in combining our reservations into one group without forcing us the $35 minimum fee. Everything was aesthetically appealing and the attention to detail with their utensils, kitchenware, interiors, and etc. My friends and I did family style so we ordered the Salmon Chazuke (a plus that it's a full piece of salmon), Sri Lanken (underwhelming ngl but the curry was good), Shakshouka (very good), Moroccan Pancakes (light and fluffy), Hojicha Waffles with Chicken Karage, and a side of Hojicha Waffles (honestly, my favorite out of everything because you get both sweet and savory). My 2 friends and I ordered the Matcha on Fire which had beetroot powder on the bottom. It fell very short of the expectations I had for the drink. The experience was great overall but I probably wouldn't come back here again given that a lot of what we ordered didn't give me any 'wow' factor especially at the fact that everything was nearly $30 per dish.

Yelp
The food at 6 Tables exceeded my expectations in service, presentation and taste. They were very attentive despite us dining on New Year's Day. I loved that they had a wide variety of different flavors. We opted to share plates and we were all really happy with our Chicken Karaage and Hojicha Waffles, Asian Speciality Brunch, Crab Benedict and Oysters. I especially loved the drinks we got, the Matcha on Fire, Witches Brew and the Tiramisu Latte. Although if you had to pick one, go with the Witches Brew for sure! I will be coming back to try more of the drinks.

Yelp
pretty cool specialty brunch concept where you can choose from 6 cuisines their classic brunch. we didn't go for that though, instead we tried the chicken karaage & hojicha mochi waffle, and the snow crab egg's benedict. waffle was pretty good and chewy and you could taste a hint of hojicha. chicken was a little dry though. benedict was good I liked the fluffy muffin. drinks were pretty special, matcha on fire and black sesame latte were not too sweet

Yelp
Great customer service. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I loved the karaage chicken but didn't care for the waffle. I recommend making a reservation because the tables fill up fast. Street parking.

Yelp
A perfect little brunch spot to take your friends to! We didn't have reservations and did a walk in and was seated immediately (went a couple of mins after opening). The staff was very friendly and were helpful whenever we needed help :). Although there wasn't much selection in terms of food, it was very diverse with different types of breakfast over the world. Our personal favorite was the Asian breakfast which was the salmon. Nothing we got was too salty for our taste. Our favorite being the scallops. The scallops had a nice creamy dill flavor to it. The drinks were a bit expensive but they do give A LOT. The tiramisu had a lot of cocoa powder. For me, I think less coco powder would've made the drink perfect but it was still overall very good. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
If you're there for pretty food and great ambiance , this is the place you go. But if you're super hungry and want some REAL food, don't come here lol. Places are quite pricey imo, but it's sf and it's pretty, so I'm not surprised by the pricing . The drinks are better than the foods imo, but the specialties are quite unique, it's an interesting find. The only down side I would say, is they don't have dessert menu, and it's mostly small portions of food. Servers are quite nice. Make reservation as maybe peak hours they might be busy, not many tables inside.

Yelp
Cute new brunch spot that I decided to try with my boyfriend on a Sunday after watching football at Bus Stop nearby. Looks like a very good place for taking photos and posting on social media if you're into that kind of thing. I was really excited to try it since it looked new and had good reviews! We got there around 1:30 PM, and there were two other parties of two ahead of us. The hostess is nowhere to be seen, and no one acknowledged us for about 10 minutes until I flagged down the waitress serving the tables outside on the curb, who then told me to wait for the hostess. We waited about another 5 mins before the hostess got to us, and during this wait time, a guy came in, waited impatiently (like about 5 mins) and left since no one acknowledged him either. The two parties before us are finally seated because two or three tables left. During this whole time though, there were about 4-6 open bar/countertop seats... We didn't have a reservation, and the hostess had to call each missed reservation individually to ask them if they were still coming. I know this place is relatively new, but this doesn't seem like a good use of time. Would probably be easier to just have a blanket understanding that if you don't show up in 15 mins your table is gone, like most other places. I kept taking a peek at her iPad screen to see all these missed reservations she was calling up. While I have 20/20 vision, I couldn't quite see everything perfectly from my angle, but it looked like there were reservations for between 1-1:30 that didn't show who she was still calling when it was already nearly 2 PM. About halfway through our nearly 30 min wait, another party of two lined up behind us, waited for nearly 5 mins, then also left because no one ever greeted them. I would say food options here are a bit more unique than most other brunch places around the city, but the prices here are ridiculous ($9 for a regular latte I remember seeing listed on their menu for example). I ordered the matcha drink which is basically the same as what you can get from Komeya no Bento nearby but slightly different flavors, and it cost nearly double the price. It also wasn't even as flavorful; I could not taste the rose or beet flavors. I did enjoy my Sri Lankan, but I was confused how to eat it even after the waitress explained it (English didn't seem to be her first language so I didn't want to ask her to repeat the long instructions). My boyfriend got the crab omelette and that was alright, although the crab flavors reminded me of something out of a can. Still don't think it's worth nearly $30 for a freaking omelette. The fruit sides were also pretty sad (like 1 whole grape sliced up, not even half a strawberry sliced up, and two blueberries; see photo). Our food took kind of long to come out, and I was getting hangry when I saw the couple next to us get their food first when we had ordered about 10 mins before they did. Overall, I think there are better brunch places in the city where the prices are much more reasonable for the service, ambiance and food you're paying for. The servers are nice and friendly, but that doesn't make up for the ridiculous seating time when there are clearly multiple open tables/spots or lack of greeting when customers enter the establishment. Just left me in a bad mood to start the meal off with in general. This place just seems to have a premium for how *pretty* it looks inside, and I have no desire to waste another $120+ on brunch for two here.

Yelp
The interior first of all is super aesthetic it'll feel like the most luxurious brunch you've eaten at. This was a super unique brunch dining experience. It is called 6 tables because they have 6 different brunch cuisines. I got the Asian specialty brunch and it was a fillet of salmon on top of rice seasoned with furikake. On the side it came with some dashi stock to mix with your bowl, it made the rice super delicious. The salmon was cooked well but I wish it was slightly seasoned more. The skin was crispy and the meat was tender. 6 tables is on the pricier side but it is definitely a unique experience worthwhile to try.

Yelp
Love this spot! It's the perfect girls' brunch spot with a beautiful interior. There are flower decorations all throughout, and all of the staff members are extremely sweet and accommodating. They checked in on my sister and me multiple times during our visit to make sure we were doing okay. We ordered the tiramisu latte, a regular latte with almond milk, and we both got the Asian dish (salmon chazuke). This was my second time coming here, and I was intrigued by many different items on the menu. However, I decided to get the salmon chazuke again because I loved how homey and hearty the dish was the first time. The rice is perfectly cooked, and the seasoning + roe are a great touch. The server recommended we pour the entire pot of green tea on the dish to add more flavor. However, I preferred it with only half the pot since I'm not too big on wet rice. Salmon Chazuke: 5/5 Tiramisu Latte: 3/5 (a bit too sweet for my liking) Latte with Almond Milk: 3/5 (solid coffee, but not worth the price--$9 + $1.50 for almond milk. I was just desperate for caffeine.) I recommend coming for the food, but the drinks are priced like cocktails. I would prefer to check out other coffee shops around the area. Overall, it was a great experience. My sister and I loved it! 5/5!!

Yelp
My husband and I walked by this place a few weeks ago on their first day of opening but didn't get to try it out so I bookmarked it for a future date. It was raining on a Friday morning and my friends and I met up here for brunch. It was fairly busy the morning we visited especially for a rainy day. The host asked me if we had reservations but we didn't. There was no wait and we were seated right away. We ordered the following: Salmon Chazuka: rice topped with salmon, serve with dashi green tea and fresh fruit. The dashi green tea was so flavorful. We loved this dish. (This was so good, we ordered another round for the table). Crab benedict with fresh fruit. This was great and would definitely order again. Chicken kaarage with mochi waffles. Delicious but of the three this was my least favorite. Service was excellent! Will definitely be back with my family next time.

Yelp
Really great asian fusion brunch and easily one of my favorite brunch places ever!! They have fusion dishes in addition to classic brunch items and we kinda had a hard time choosing what to get. Chicken and Waffles are a must-get, I dislike them usually but i got these bc it was karaage and hojicha mochi waffles -- 10/10 would get again and again, the karaage was SO airy and crisp (we paired it with the truffle hot sauce which was more delicious than it should have been), while the waffles had the delightful mochi chewiness, paired perfectly with the sweet hojicha syrup. Sri Lankan brunch was cool visually but really nothing special lol. We also ordered the Witches' Brew (hojicha matcha latte) which was yumz as well, went really well with the waffles :3 The waitresses were also so nice and always filled our waters before they became empty (and we were seated without a wait!!) The interior is chic and modern as well... love love loved everything ab this meal and will definitely be back .

Yelp
New brunch spot and I am a fan! O R D E R E D - Matcha on Fire - Blue Coco - Steak Chimichurri Sandwich - Sri Lankan V E R D I C T 6 tables gives you a different experience to brunch. Although they have the traditional brunch items on the menu like eggs and sausage for folks that want something simple, they have a variety of items that are unique just to them, like their hojicha waffle, sri lankan, and steak chimichurri sandwich. Their steak chimichurri is perfect for someone like me that always wants anything with chimichurri and the steak was cooked perfectly and not much fatty parts. I definitely had to pair it with some truffle fries and they gave such a generous amount of truffle. The sri lankan gave me a new take on how to eat eggs, jokingly - i took the egg as it was and put some curry on it and topped it with some coconut rice and eat it. I almost felt like I was committing a crime eating eggs like that but it sure tasted amazing. The egg was almost like roti texture. I definitely wanted to try more of their coffee drinks but 2 was all i could handle - until next time! Parking wasn't too hard for us as we parked in the residential areas, it was just a bit of a walk uphill and down but it was a nice sunny day, so no one is complaining here.

Yelp
Such a unique take on brunch. Loved everything about this place, the beautiful ambience, the service, the beautiful cocktails and brunch food - and they tasted as amazing as they looked! My favorites were the tiramisu latte, the salmon chazuke (so good with the dashi green tea - who knew!) and the Moroccan pancakes - just sweet enough with that honey syrup!

Yelp
Wow!! The ambience of this place was so welcoming and I loved how bright the personalities of the waitresses were. It was my friend's birthday and they personally all signed a happy birthday card for her! The drinks were so aesthetically pleasing and delicious! I loved how the theme of the food here is from around the world so you have diverse options. My snow crab benedict was so delicious and my friends all enjoyed their food. I will definitely be coming back!!
