Very conviently located within walking distance of Atocha train station. The apartment was very spacious with a large living room area and open style kitchen. One thing to note is that the area outside the hotel is extremely busy day and night, so it is quite noisy.

We stayed for 2 nights, and the apartment was perfect! Clean, beautiful, well equipped. The communication with the admin was really good. The location is busy and lively, but inside the apartment is very peaceful. I will definitely come back. Thank you!

Perfect location.Systematic check in with staff standby during office hour.Check out procedure inform us at 09.00am which ask us to wash the dishes which we check out earlier than that. But reception no extra charge due to late inform. Recommend staying as the location just opposite Train Station easy to take taxi too.

Cute and simple rooms which I appreciate personally. The self check-in downstairs was broken which stinks but the normal check-in upstairs was normal and the girl there was pretty nice !! Expensive as hell I have to admit but if you are willing to pay then it’s fine tbh

I had written this review on Expedia but it’s not shown on their site anymore. Not sure whether Expedia deleted it or the property deleted it. So I’m posting it here separately for others. We were 3 people and were given apt #5B for 4 nights (from Dec 26th to 30th of 2024). Positives: Very good location right on top of a metro station. While the building is at a noisy location, the apartment was quiet and clean. Fast food joints (Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks etc.) are in this building. So it’s convenient. That’s where the good part ends. At a very steep per night price, this place has a lot of negatives and provides poor value. The negatives are: - Bathroom is tiny. There is no place to hang clothes inside the bathroom. - Tiny shower with odd angle of shower head. Water would get tepid and then cold when taking a shower and even for a short duration. We had to stagger timings to take shower. - The bedroom is upstairs and the living room is downstairs. It was not clear from the description on Expedia. - No heater upstairs and the heater in the bathroom didn’t work. - TV turned on but had no cable or satellite connection. So it was useless. - The elevator is tiny and took time due to traffic. We ended up taking stairs many times. May be our timing was bad due to peak holiday season. But I’d not recommend this property at a steep price.

Check was a bit of a hassle but the apartment was spacious clean. They allowed us a late check out at a reasonable price.

There is a lot to like about the apartments of 60 Balconies. The location -- across from Atocha Train station -- is excellent. The space is a good size, the beds are comfortable (firm, nice sheets), the bathroom is also roomy, with a good strong shower and hot water, the kitchen is well equipped, and the apartment was clean. |We had been worried that because it overlooked a very busy intersection, it would be noisy, but the windows are excellent at blocking noise. ||We were disappointed at the rather ragged appearance of the space. We were in apartment 3B and it really need to be repainted. The sofa was very uncomfortable and worn. Lights in one bedroom lacked bulbs and one simply didn't work. Overall, the apartment needed better lighting. ||With prices in the neighborhood of 300 Euros, we expected a space to be in better shape.

There are three 60 Balconies properties all within a short distance of each other in Madrid. This one is 60 Balconies- Art. When researching (and arriving..!) make sure you have the right one. This one is really well located - just across from the main train station, and a short distance to many of the major art galleries and cultural institutions. It is a short walk to both the botanical and El Retiro gardens. We had a two bathroom/two bedroom apartment. (One bathroom is an ensuite off the main bedroom). The apartment had a well appointed kitchen - although no guide to work that we think was an oven (?) and a machine that looked like a coffee maker. The crockery had seen better days, however for the short times we were actually in the apartment and not outdoors enjoying everything Madrid had to offer; it wasn't really an issue. The lounge is spacious - but like most places we stayed on this trip why is there only one two seater couch in an apartment that caters for four...? The location is a standout - just ignore the fast food chains and garishly lit cafes around the outside of the building. Its just a short walk or a quick taxi ride to all you need. Oh and there is a metro stop right outside the door...
