Yelp
CAUTION: MAJOR OHIO STATE BAR! (Which is great for me hehe!) This place is truly great! They have a huge draft selection. The jumbo pretzel? Best I've ever had! Great hotdogs, yummy sweet potato fries, delicious burgers- don't sleep on the pork belly BLT sliders! Everything I've ever eaten here has been great! I've only ever been on a game day, so I'm not sure if the flow is the same. But you order your beer/drinks and/or food at the bar or counter. Then they give you a number to head to your table. I look forward to many more good experiences here!

Yelp
Have been to the place a number of times and it always seems to lack energy or even a true identity/brand. You also order standing up at the bar, which has really ruined the chance to dazzle with service but with the same tipping expectation. One visit my hot dog came out covered in extremely moldy cheese, to which they embarrassingly took off the bill. It was so bad I'm not sure how it could have possibly been missed. Haven't been back since that day, so I suspect it naturally killed the urge/appetite. The physical location has struggled historically, which is something to be said. It's fairly dog and kid friendly, but both need to be controlled. Would the community really miss it? Maybe a few would, but is the community raving about? Not so much - so mediocrity prevails.

Yelp
First time here, and sat at one of the long (picnic style) wood tables on what they call is a patio but is much more like a wood deck. They have an inside bar with lots of activity and TVs. Inside the men's bathroom had two urinals and two basins. Also there is an outside bar with three TVs, one behind the bar and two in the covered entertainer's area. We sat outside so we walked to that outside bar with the friendly, efficient, effective server. We also ordered food, the Butcher's Burger and a set of single ribs with your choice of sauces. Unfortunately the ribs were overcooked and thus tough to bite off and then bit chewy. The burger was quite good, with cheese and sliced pork belly to upgrade any usual burger, but this meat was thick and also had slight bit of tomato jam. Other than the underwhelming, overdone preparation of the ribs, it was a good time for all as people came and went. IMPORTANTLY, on this date, they were selling cooked oysters in small groups ALL YOU CAN EAT (when's the last time you heard that?) for $30. The profit on the oysters is going to a Down's Syndrome support group. Excellent!

Yelp
This place is an absolute VIBE! I have no idea why it's not more busy on the weekends and I feel like this is a gem of a place to go. Huge outdoor space, amazing food, and so many great brews on tap. They have happy hour from 4-7 on the weekdays and weekly events and specials almost every night including trivia and live music. The staff was so welcoming and I might dream about the giant pretzel for the rest of forever (but definitely about the cheese). You can also buy any of their sausages to go and cook them at home. I feel like this is going to be an NFL Sunday hangout.

Yelp
We kept driving past Carolina Butcher & Beer Garden and finally decided to go in two Fridays ago. Since then, we've gone every Friday because it's been so much fun. They have a great outdoor area with turf and plenty of seating, including large tables that are perfect for sharing with others or for big groups. The happy hour is fun, and for the past two Fridays, they've had live music, which adds to the vibe--people were dancing, and it felt lively with all the kids playing. The food looked amazing. I only had a beer, but my friends ordered a meat platter and a soft pretzel with dipping sauces, and they said everything was delicious. They even said it was one of the best soft pretzels in Charleston, which is a great compliment. The atmosphere was good, the staff was friendly, and the prices were reasonable. I'll definitely be back with a big group!

Yelp
10-6-24 3:30pm Sunday Came here because of the Yelp's as we were looking for a sports bar with good food. So we parked in the shopping plaza parking lot out front. Once we attempted to walk in it was confusing as the doors to the right look like they go to a butcher shop and the door to the left takes you outside. Once we make our way in the place was noticeably empty. Great for us because hubby wanted to watch the game but why so empty? Our question gets answered pretty quickly as there is zero help and service. We go to the bar and ask for menus and a couple of beers. That's when I get asked for my credit card. Wow first for me. Perhaps I am in a bad neighborhood. So I give him our card and go back to our seat to look at the menus. I go back to the bar to order from the same guy and he wants my credit card. Am I being spoofed. lol. So I explain I was just here mind you they are empty. Note the card was already rung up for $11.00 for the beers which is odd as the menu says they are $5.00 each. We place our order I get a Carolina dog with a side of macaroni salad which is extra. Hubby gets a Butcher's burger which comes with fries. My hot dog was to come with Cole slaw on it but I saw and tasted very little. Only mayonnaise running down my dog. I thought the food was ok until it hit me on the drive home. Ie hard to digest. Hubby was not happy with the lack of service and dirty table. Something happened towards the end of the meal as a girl appeared out of no where from the back and asked us if we needed anything. Either she woke up from a nap in the back or the boss showed up. Anyway I tipped 20% as I felt sorry for them as there was literally no one here. But later I was regretful as I literally waited on myself. This place is a one and done for us.

Yelp
Standard pub food. My husband's burger was ok. He's had better. My salad was good, but rather small for the price. Service was ok. Spacious environment and comfortable. Probably won't go back as it was just so so.

Yelp
From the outside, in a strip mall in Mount Pleasant, this place does not look too appealing but once you get in, it is spacious and the menu is delicious! It is a German sausage sports bar. We wanted to try everything so settled on the haus sampler and a dog. They have a different daily special each day. I'm excited to go back and do trivia Tuesday as well as make this my new sports bar for NFL season.

Yelp
LOVED our first Farm Haus run. Easy parking at the Coleman strip mall, plenty of outdoor space, and a huge open concept dining room and bar. We're from up north and understand/appreciate the Milwaukee brewery "feel." DC has really embraced this feel/concept and we're happy to see this inviting floor plan so well executed in the Chuck. Shareable menus are, our, jam. Why settle on just one thing when you can rock a few items together? We ordered the pretzel, wings, and sausage sampler. The pretzel/cheese, grainy mustard combo was 100. Everybody loved the pretzel. Wings were solid (you don't go to a place like FH for wings). And we REALLY loved (out of the selected four) the bacon, cheddar, and jalepeno sausage. Service was prompt, peppy, loyal FH fans/ambassadors, and proactive. Our main feedback would be to ask patrons how they'd like their sausage cooked. We'd love to get some grill marks and char on those delicious sausages, especially the jalapeno. While we enjoyed all the sausages, we would have enjoyed them more after some more grill time.

Yelp
This place claims to be an Ohio state bar but their tvs don't even work and I'm trying to watch the CHAMPIONSHIP game right now and have to do it on my phone. Absolutely ridiculous. At the very least let us WATCH THE GAME. AWFUL.

Kristen G.

Yelp
We went here yesterday between a wedding ceremony and reception... All we wanted was some decent drinks and a little food to tide us over until the reception. It was honestly one of the worst places we've been to in a minute. Staff did not care at all. Food was sub mediocre. Drinks came with lipstick still on the glass and we were made to feel like an inconvenience for thinking that was gross. It feels like it's likely on the verge of shutting down and everyone's just stopped caring. We were there on a Friday afternoon and the butcher shop was closed... We're in prime football season... You'd think a decent butcher shop would be killing it.

Sean S.

Yelp
Nachos and sampler are awesome! Service was great and outdoor area is a fun place to hang out.

Amy R.

Yelp
Very dissapointed. To advertise being an OSU fan bar for the national championship but run out of all of your burgers except one, pork belly and other things by 6:30 (an hour before the game even starts) is ridiculous. You would think they would have prepared a little better and gotten extra food for this event.

Karen C.

Yelp
We had a really enjoyable evening here on an early Saturday evening. The appetizers were soooo good. My son was enamored with the big soft pretzel. Honestly, it was my favorite part of the meal. My husband really enjoyed the nachos with his beer. He said it could've been his meal. I think we made a fatal mistake in not ordering the sausage sampler platter. We couldn't decide on what sausages so we both ordered burgers to expedite our order. The burgers were good. Nothing to write home about. My fries were a little soggy but I feel weird asking for extra crispy fries so that's probably my fault. We enjoyed the entertainment. My husband gave my son dollar bills to tip the guy playing acoustic guitar when he played a song we liked. My son thought it was so fun.

Nathaniel S.

Yelp
Pre ordered online and my salad was still 20 minutes late with literally nobody in the restaurant/bar.

Debbie H.

Yelp
The restaurant was hopping on Tuesday night with a big trivia competition about to start so I ordered food to go. Grabbed a burger and sweet potato fries. Both were delicious - perfectly seasoned and cooked. The bun was soft, diced onions and pickles. Cheese was mixed into the large burger vs just laying on top. I'll definitely be back when I can sit for a while longer.

Miranda B.

Yelp
Delicious nachos! Taste fresh, light, with just enough heat. The Snafu is a delicious milkshake sour. Highly recommend for sour drinkers, also go give Snafu a visit for more delicious brews. Disappointing to come here to try their drink competition cocktail. They didn't know how to make the Bend & Steal cocktail that was listed as a Peach Harvest Elixer. Though that was disappointing I'm not disappointed in our choice to have a light lunch on the beautiful outside patio.

Hannah S.

Yelp
Coworkers showed me this spot and I have been back several times with different groups. I really like what they're trying to do. There is a huge outdoor area with turf that is pet friendly (they even provide dog bags)! They have large picnic tables which makes it easier to come in big groups. Beer selection is good, nice mix of local beers and Pepsi products if you're not a drinker. The food is the highlight of this place! I've never actually seen the butcher shop up front operating, but I know they're back there doing something good! I get the Lowcountry Dog every time. The okra is also fantastic. People I have been with say that the chorizo nachos, the regular burger (haven't tried the smash burger yet), and the Carolina Dog are all top notch. The menu is kind of all over and I love that!! The service is really the only thing that gets me. It's bar only and when you go to the bar they're not always the nicest. I don't want to go somewhere and feel like I'm inconveniencing anyone, so I do hope they improve there. It's not something that will keep me from going back - the food is definitely worth it and the vibes can be good with the right crowd. It's never busy when I've been so I hope it makes it!

Jeffrey B.

Yelp
Very not busy on trivia night. Waitress couldn't be bothered except to drop our food at the table and go back to chit chatting. No asking if we needed drinks, wanted to order any of the specials, etc. Food on sampler was fine at least.

Patti D.

Yelp
Came here for a late lunch about 2:45. A few people at the inside bar but other than that, empty. Went with a cheeseburger, fries, jalapeño/ bacon sausage and onion rings. Ordered the burger rare and the fries well done. There was no table service due to the time of day so the bartender took our order, a really nice guy. First thing I noticed was the Ketchup bottle was mostly empty and really dirty, a pet peeve, kind of gross but willing to overlook if the food was outstanding. Food showed up. Burger was well done and dry, fries were soggy and undercooked. My husband liked the sausage but I found the texture odd. Also, mustard was drizzled all over the bun making it impossible to eat without making a complete mess of yourself. This establishment is more of a bar than a restaurant. It should also be noted that no one ever checked on us after receiving our food.

John H.

Yelp
The good: cool outdoor area, great place to watch games, ample parking. The bad: you have to order food at one counter and alcohol at another counter (read that: another line to get in). The ugly: I paid $15 for a burger that was bloody (not offered a choice on cooking temperature) and some soggy fries

Tatiana D.

Yelp
Went to Farm Haus for happy hour and it did not disappoint! Friendly and helpful (made great recommendations on beer and food pairings) bar staff. Food was delicious and the price was right. The menu is truly fantastic... It took us 15 minutes to order because we literally could not make up our minds... If we could've ordered it, all we would have! This is actually our second time back in a week because we want to sample it all! Space wise, there is an indoor area with big screen tvs so you don't miss the game. Also a large outdoor area which would be great for any gathering. Great happy hour specials and trivia Tuesday nights. Definitely come check them out!

Michael W.

Yelp
Nice sausage and peppers. Food was tasty. The place is nice with a gage grass patio that is kid friendly on Sunday. Otherwise it's a typical sports bar. You order from a nice person at the door and food is run to your table. People seem nice. Friendly atmosphere and good life music today.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
The food was amazing! I loved the alligator andouille! The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. I got the feeling that this was more of a lo a handout and not very touristy which makes it even better. Great environment and great food. I honestly would expect larger crowds

Donald W.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the "Irish Banger & Mash" at lunch on March 11. My feeling is that Farm Haus might become a very popular go-to place in the days to come.

Kimberly L.

Yelp
Beautiful patio. Comfortable inside. Games on the TVs. Great appetizers and friendly staff.

K W.

Yelp
Don't bother, keep driving. After ordering from the QR-generated menu, we were eventually served our food, which was more, or less, just dropped in front of us. Had to ask for plates. And, then we never saw the waitress again! Never came to ask us if we wanted drinks (someone should have informed her -- it is a "beer garden"). She hung around the bar singing to herself the entire time. About 25% of the menu items were "out of stock". The bratwurst were dry, pickles tasted like wet cucumbers. Frankly, this place should be shut down by the health department -- there was a dog sitting on one of the long the tables -- GROSS. Lazy is too kind of a word for the waitress.

Yelp
See Farm Haus Butcher and Beer Garden review below. Thank you. See Farm Haus Butcher and Beer Garden review below. Thank you.

Yelp
went for lunch and enjoyed the gator and andouille sausage sandie. lots of other interesting combinations offered. high marks for a menu not offered elsewhere. service was prompt and friendly.

Steve G.

Yelp
Read about Farm Haus and finally had a chance to stop by for lunch. I've now found a new favorite to add to my list. I had the sausage and peppers which was the best I have had anywhere since I left New Jersey. You really can't find this kind of sandwich anywhere around here. My wife had the brew dog which she really enjoyed, not your average run of the mill hot dog but a really good 100% beef one. We also had excellent onion rings. The fries were also good but my own personal preference is for the fries to be a bit crispier but again that's my taste. My only criticism would be it's a bit confusing as far as ordering food but perhaps I just missed the sign which is quite possible. All I can say is that I will be back again and again to try as many things as I can on the menu and also to frequent the butcher counter to purchase some of their great products to bring home and enjoy.

Peter L.

Yelp
There is a chance that you're sleeping on Farm Haus... We went for dinner on a Sunday night in February. It was dark when we got there and by the looks of it it was closed. There's a small open sign in the window but hard to notice from far away. The food for adults was awesome. But the kids menu was pretty disappointing as far as healthy options go. They offered a fruit cup as a substitute for fresh fruit and we were put off when told the grilled veggies were "mostly Brussels sprouts." Of course Mac and cheese was a hit but certainly not ideal or nutritious. Food is ordered by the meat display at the front of the restaurant in the dimly lit dungeon. The meat cooler was not lit so the meats really did not look all that that appealing. They could not transfer the tab to the bar so we had to close and order drinks at the bar - which is super annoying. I was told they're working on this but as of time of posting this was the process. The bar was stocked with an incredible selection of beers. We had local beers which were of course good. It was clean and unlike the front half of the building it was very well lit. There was an outdoor Biergarten that looked great, would love to check it out during nicer weather. TL/DR: great food, great service, and clean. Needs just a little more lighting. The two tab process was irritating. Needs just a little more energy.

James K.

Yelp
Great bbq & awesome sides & just a great overall experience!! Definitely would recommend!!

Cayci G.

Yelp
This was our first visit. It was a Friday evening. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered the pretzel, chicken crispies, Mac and cheese, wings, spicy bratwurst, and regular bratwurst. The total was $88. The chicken crispies were dry, overcooked, and bland. The Mac and cheese had no flavor. The bratwurst was very good. Everything else was just okay. Very pricey for the quality. We won't return.

Arlene H.

Yelp
A large group of us went to this location for trivia night (12 people).. we had a reservation, and the table was set up and waiting for us. The decor is, shall we say, bare bones. We got our own menus, since none were on the table. The server came to take our food orders, didn't ask about drinks. A few people requested drinks and they were served. I approached the bar, and told that we had to come up and order our own drinks. The food came for 11 people. I finally went back to the bar. 20 minutes later, my food finally arrived, without the fries.... All food was served on small, bare metal trays with plastic utensils. Food was mediocre. Server never came back to ask what else we wanted. We bussed our own table. A member of our group got me a to-go box. Trivia began, and was heard to hear, since the music still played and the crowd was noisy - all hard surfaces. The moderator had us scan a code in order to see the questions and answer possibilities. Very awkward. At Steel City Pizza, they had a large screen for viewing question. All in all, I will never return. Terrifically disappointed.

Jeris C.

Yelp
Review from a local in OV- much needed different atmosphere from other MP restaurants. Unique and good. They are new so I am sure still working out kinks but we had no issues on wait for food or service. Sausages are on point and so good. We did traditional beer brat and banh mi. Both excellent. Had onion rings and their macaroni salad as sides, also excellent. Yes their prices are high, but it's MP, it is expected. I felt the money we spent was well worth it for atmosphere, great food, and awesome beer selection for local brew! Live music on Friday night as well- bonus! Check it out!! Give a new place a chance- it is needed!

Michelle S.

Yelp
I had the best experience especially for a new restaurant. We ate lunch there and got brats to bring home and they were the best We ever had. Burger was soooo good too!

Brian S.

Yelp
Love the casual atmosphere. Shopping center restaurant that was great casual dining. Daughter is very picky and said was one of the best burgers. Fries were fantastic! My son and I had the jalapeño cheddar sausage...highly recommend.

Sherri Y.

Yelp
Stopped here with some cousins after a game at High Seas down the road. There was live music on a Saturday night which was a nice treat. The food was pretty good and we didn't have to wait for a table even though there were 7 of us. The food was an interesting take on meat and potatoes options. For instance, the bangers and mash was on a bun!

T D.

Yelp
Love this place!!!!! Been multiple times alone and with friends. The service is excellent!! If it's your first time going go with the sampler and a flight of beers! My personal recommendation would be the Bahn Mi and Gator Andouille. The ribs and wings are banging as well!!

Safiyyah S.

Yelp
We ordered take out on Saturday evening after seeing the menu online. We both got salads and an order of chicken wings and an order of fried okra. The salads were good and filling but the wings were fried hard and tough. My husband became I'll later that evening into the next day. He was vomiting and having diarrhea the entire next day. He said the honey mustard dressing for the salad seemed off but not sure overall what part of the meal made him sick. We called the restaurant the next day to speak to a manager and inform them of our concerns with the food and the illness and were told he would call us when he came in later that day. He never returned the call and after calling back that afternoon and being informed again he was not in we gave up. It is now Monday and we still have not heard from them. Mount pleasant is a beautiful tourist spot with many options right on Coleman Blvd to choose from. This place is new and it's a shame they weren't responsive to a customers issues. Avoid this place if you can, so many other options which are less expensive and have higher quality food which won't leave you sick the next day!

Stephen T.

Yelp
Great sausages and pretzels. Good tap options. Went for lunch on a weekday and very family friendly,

Jill J.

Yelp
Amazing sausages and burgers - great bar and atmosphere! It's the real deal when it comes to homemade bratwurst!!

Frankie V.

Yelp
Our breakfast was so good. I had the Chicken and Waffles which was good, but the chicken was AMAZING!!! I will be going back when I am in the area.

Paul Z.

Yelp
Went there Friday. Had the app platter Good pretzels Braun's pickles. They forgot the pork belly The server didn't know what she was bringing. All good. Ban mi , Italian sausage good. Burgers good. Good beer selection until saw its bill. Grandkids could play outside. This place has potential if the drinks weren't so high

Miles W.

Yelp
Popped in for lunch and had an awesome experience! Food was delicious! We had the pimento cheese, farmer burger, beer garden brat and Carolina Hot Chicken sausage, all outstanding! The bartender, Keri, was excellent, very attentive and friendly. Definitely a great place to check out!
