What can I say that hasn't already been said in multiple reviews? 620 Loft & Garden is truly a gem in NYC with an unparalleled view. I shot multiple weddings there, including one recently for Isabella & Stephen (WWE's Sheamus), and it never loses its awe and charm. Truly an exceptional venue.

We love working with the team at 620 Loft and Garden. Not only is the venue absolutely iconic and maintained as such, the management team is warm and easy to work with. It’s a long established venue that still cares about each event as if it’s their first. Obtaining permitting is no hassle as well as coordinating access. Thank you for the years of great events!

During my previous experience I had the pleasure to organize a PR event in this area. The team was very supportive and organized, the place is stunning and perfect for every need. It is very conveniently reach and the garden is incredibly curated. Only little downside is that you can modify too much the rooftop since there are rules to be followed by the owner.

This place has such potential! Very pretty lay out ...the indoors, will need like a good party planner to transform the place and make it a good transition from out to in... great venue and views.

The view! I’ve been here for events but most recently for a pop up dinner series. Every time, the most spectacular part is the view of just high enough above 5th Avenue.

Yelp
Thinking of getting married at 620 Loft and Garden? Here's a short review from a wedding photographer's point of view: If budget isn't an issue, this place is simply magical! Rooftop wedding in the heart of Manhattan with incredible views of St. Patrick's Cathedral & Rockefeller Center. What more could you ask for? It's makes for one incredible experience for not just the bride and groom, but for all of the guests who are always completely blown away. As close as it is to being perfect, there are few things to keep in mind: 1. If the weather doesn't cooperate (as it didn't during the wedding I shot there, when it rained right before the ceremony), the main garden does get quite soggy. It got bad enough that the bride had to walk around the guests via the outer walkway instead of through the middle. Definitely not the ideal way to make an entrance. 2. The inside is as simple as it gets, so it's really up to you(r planner) to make it something amazing. Basically, picture a clean, white room; a blank slate. If minimalism is your thing (as is with me), then you'll love it. Otherwise, plan to get creative! 3. Space. It's definitely not for large events. Even for smaller weddings, the cocktail hour gets quite cramped. But if you're planning on getting married here, you know that already. From a solely photographer's perspective, while it does make possible some absolutely stunning shots (one of my favorite images was taken here, which you can see in the Photos section), the size of the venue as well as the blank indoor space does limit how creative you can get. If you're looking to get a wide variety of photos, I'd highly suggest you stop by another location for or after the First Look and get portraits before heading to 620 Loft and Garden. If you're set on getting married here, a gallery of a real wedding from 620 Loft and Garden is up on my site, so feel free to check it out for some wedding ideas!

Yelp
From a wedding guest point of view. Wedding was right before the December Storm. This is rated as one of the most expensive venues in NYC. Yes, the views are amazing, however the weather has to be just perfect. Especially if you plan to use the outdoor patio. Which, why wouldn't you? The space itself is not for large groups, wedding party size approximately 50. Plus the wait, bar & other service staff. The location is prime, if you plan to take a car, remember this is NYC & traffic is bad. You can probably walk faster than a cab or car service. Especially during the month of December. NYC gets more visitors in December than all year long. The venue has 2 bathrooms for women which is not good, however worked for this crowd. Think of this location as a once in a lifetime, only if you have the funds for this location. As guests we were thrilled to be invited to such a lavish wedding!

Yelp
620 Loft and Garden is the perfect location for a smaller wedding or event. The views to the Cathedral are stunning from the lawn. The interior space is blank, white, and perfect as a blank slate to dress up as you wish. The Abigail Kirsch Caterer there is truly one of the best...the service is second to none and they run everything so smoothly. I photographed a small wedding reception there after the couple married across the street at St. Patrick's Cathedral. Although it rained all day, the staff accommodated the change in plans flawlessly and waited for that 5 minute window when the rains stopped to have the cake cutting on the lawn. A truly unique, stunning, unforgettable location!

Yelp
I visited 25 wedding venues before I finally had my ah ha moment at 620 Loft & Garden. It is absolutely stunning, and a perfect combination of a tranquil, traditional outdoor garden and a chic, modern, totally customizable loft. The venue is in pristine condition (especially compared to the other rooftop venues in NYC) and the background of St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, and Radio City Music Hall bring it up to perfection. Their staff were incredibly responsive, professional, kind and caring. They made sure everything went off without a hitch, and we could not be happier with the end result. Will definitely keep 620 in mind for any future events we hold.

Yelp
I have used this venue for events of my own and had the opportunity to attend an event last night at this location. The outdoor garden is gorgeous and a great escape from the city's noise and hustle and bustle. The inside is a clean, blank palette that you can do just about anything with when it comes to lighting and décor. The space is not large, but very nice for a corporate event or private party. Access is through two manned private elevators that go right up to the 7th floor. The bathrooms are gorgeous too. The venue has a preferred list of suppliers such as caterers. florist, production companies and décor. It is best to use their selected suppliers as they understand the uniqueness of the space.

Yelp
I attended a wedding here in June of this year. The views are spectacular! Especially of the cathedral! White glove service passing around champagne and hors d'oeuvres was outstanding. Two bars were set up in both corners so they never got backed up with people waiting for their drinks. Extremely pricey but hey, it's Manhattan, I understand. However for the price I expected the sit down meal to be extraordinary and it wasn't. Not bad but not the caliber that I expected. In all a wonderful evening and venue. I hope to be back!

Yelp
The view from this rooftop is amazing! This is a private event space with close up views of the buildings nearby and St. Patrick's Cathedral is breath taking from up there. It feels like you can almost reach out and touch it! The interior event space was also nice and accommodating but there's nothing like the view. The staff here is also very friendly and professional with a full security detail included. I highly recommend this event space.

Yelp
I attended my friend's wedding this weekend in this event space. All I can say is this place is fabulous! You will not be disappointed. The wedding ceremony was in St. Patrick's Cathedral so it was a short walk over to this place. The cocktail hour was held in the garden space on the rooftop which has an amazing view of all the nearby buildings. Dinner was served in the interior space which could probably hold 100-125 guests. We went back outside to dance the night away on the rooftop. The space is not only contemporary and chic, it also provides an intimate feeling. It was definitely a wedding to remember!

Yelp
620 loft and garden is a private event place. I was invited to this private party last night. I was so surprised by this place's view. You can see a beautiful church, radio city, tall buildings around rockefeller centers as background. They have a small modern pond in the middle of garden. My girlfriend said "I want to get married here". She was not the only single girls who made that exact comments. This place is opened to only to the private parties...I am not exact exactly which company owns it. But I figured out the cost of renting- it is a lot $$$$$$. However, if you want to have an amazing wedding or private party..or even for a romantic propose, I definitely recommend this place. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful..... It was a perfect evening with summer breeze.

Yelp
I have been here for two events, one in the summer and one in the winter. Both times, the venue was decorated beautifully. Of course, it's more the vendors than the venue itself, but the venue offers the space for creativity to thrive. When you first walk in, there's space for a bar, and something else to serve as the first thing that guests will see. At the winter event, the coat check was right next to the bar, which was smart. Out on the terrace, which can still be used in the winter thanks to a heated tent, you can either go out onto the rest of the roof and enjoy the freezing cold (and the view, of course), or you can check it out through the clear panes of the tent that keeps you nice and toasty. The way the vendors choose to make use of the space has been great both at both events--there is ample room to set up different stations, and the vendors seem to have pretty much free reign on how they want to set everything up. The one thing is, I don't know if this would be the best for very large parties--there is a small hallway connecting to a much bigger room than the first, and no doors to slow anyone down, but it seems like it would be better for more intimate gatherings. The venue, which is situated in an ideal location, right smack dab in the middle of Rockefeller Center, has prime real estate. While the surrounding area is certainly more beautiful around winter, when the tree makes its appearance, I would think that this venue's greatest gift is its rooftop garden. I think the summer weather, coupled with the longer hours of daylight, really bring out this place's beauty.

Yelp
We celebrated our wedding ceremony in 620 loft and garden about two weeks ago. Their event manager, Jennifer Levine, was very responsive and helpful on all our inquiries and concern. She was such a pleasure to work with! She went above and beyond to help us create such beautiful memories and amazing celebration. We highly recommend the venue, as it is very picturesque and unique, it also felt magical to be up on the garden. We received so many compliments from our guests on how gorgeous the venue was. It is worth the price!

Yelp
ABSOLUTLY AMAZING! I had the pleasure of attending a June wedding here. This place is amazing and the views are to die for. The food and drinks were amazing. The drinks were awesome! I would suggest the pomegranate martini. The lush gardens and the ceremony right in front of the reflecting pool...OH MY GOODNESS. from the moment I stepped into this space, I knew we were in for a good night. I have been to many weddings and this was by far the coolest, most posh, and the most fun! If I divorce my husband and do it all over again, I will def be getting married here. Maybe we will renew our vows :) The views are amazing!
