"An industrial, cement-clad bar opened in 2017 in celebration of local beer. The menu spans most of Hong Kong’s top breweries, and also includes bar food such as five-spice edamame, crab rice balls, and roasted local squid."

Yelp
This place has the ambience and appeal for folks who are nostalgic about Hong Kong culture -- the neon lights are cute, and spells things like "foreigner medicinal tea" (back-handed way of saying beer). Plus the Chinese name of the place alludes to the phrase "so fucking good". Turns out, the food and the beer selection is pretty damn decent too! The menu is actually quite big, and represents the east-meets-west vibe of Hong Kong. For example, you'll find Iberico ham here in the form of char siu atop a bowl of rice and adorned by Japanese onsen egg; or braised Napa cabbage in a creamy French-style sauce with local fried shrimp. I came here with my mum, who prefers more traditional Chinese food as she's lactose intolerant, and we still had a great time. On top of that, they have a decent selection of draft and bottled beer, with a lot of local brews represented. They also have very interesting non-alcoholic choices -- again, great for non-drinking parents or friends. The lighting can be a little bit dark for some folks, but as long as anyone needed visual support has a phone with a flashlight, or a friend, reading the menu should be ok. This is absolutely the kind of place I'd chill at with a bunch of good friends.

Yelp
65 Peel is great place to go for craft beer and Cantonese style gastropub food. They have about ten beers on tap and offer bottled beer both from international brewers and local craft brewers. I enjoyed the food and the beer was also pretty good. Food: 3.75 stars Beer: 3.5 stars Environment: 4 stars Service: 3 stars Overall: 3.5 stars Recommendations: crab rice ball, signature ipa I ordered the char Shui rice with spa, crab rice ball, and the fried chicken and washed it down with a flight of beers. The flight of beers costs 140 hkd and you get a choice of 200ml servings of four beers. The char siu is sous vide and was really tender. The taste was a bit on the light side and wish it had a bit more of the bbq flavor. The rice was also really nice. However not a fan of the spa egg and the canard liver which seemed a bit out of place. The fried chicken and crab rice balls were both good. I liked the crab balls better and they had a nice crispness and the crab flavor shines through. Fried chicken is a substantial portion and this could be a main if that is all you are eating. The chicken is tender and has a nice crunchy exterior.

Yelp
I like this place .... Love it I didn't really order any food there. Instead, I ordered their handcrafted beer, lemon grass ipa... Wow!! It's fantastic! Refreshing ... And it served with snow peas ..

Yelp
Accidentally found this place. I happen to stop and like the neon lights of the front, and realized it was a bar that had local craft beers. Conveniently it was open and air conditioned (an essential for June). Service was super friendly, and the decor was totally my style - neon chinese characters, industrial lighting, cement, bird cages, etc with hip decor. They carry a good selection of beers on tap from local breweries, and also a few from around the globe. We got a flight to share and it was the perfect size. My favorite beer turned out to be one with lemongrass (Yum!). There is also a food menu for small bites, or some shared plates. I'd definitely recommend it and wish there was place like this at home.

Yelp
I like the bar! They have a selection of interesting beer and they always change the beer menu ! The ones we ordered had fruity flavours so the bitter taste was just mild. For anybody who does mot like bitter beer their beers are suitable for you. 80 dollars you get more than what you expect. It is a pretty big glass. The service is good , we could not get a table at first then we asked if we could switch once we saw an empty table. They happily helped us switch. Had a very enjoyable night with my friends:)!

Yelp
I am going to give this place 1 star though in reality I probably wouldn't give any (and Yelp won't let me give any less). The reason for my leniency is that HK is not known for craft beer and I guess 1 star for effort (or there lack-of). This place was packed as with most bars in the area. The music was loud; maybe a little too loud as the you can literally feel the bass vibrating your ass and holding a conversation was quite impossible. Luckily, we moved outside (one of great things about the weather!). We were gifted with a dish of heavily salted, boiled edamame to snack on and it was strange tasting for the most part. But we finished it, not quite for the reasons you would think of (I'll expand on this later on). The 3 of us had 3 different beers from various regions in HK and China. The descriptions were alluring; grapefruit, lemon, crisp....etc. The selection was huge! But in reality the beers tasted quite awful and it smells even worst. It was a struggle to finish these 3 small pints as we had to constantly munch on the edamame because it was the lesser of the 2 evils. The salt from the edamame helped drown out the vulgar flavours of the beers somewhat. My beer smelled really rancid (and like someone was passing gas right beside my face), I had to stop my breath with every sip. My other mate had it even worst, his smelled a little like a used toilet stall. Perhaps the gf had it the best; hers didn't smell of anything but sure tasted like hell. Lesson learn, craft beer was not a great idea in the place not known for it.
