The Brewers were very helpful. We ordered and enjoyed tastings of four beers to try, including the wickedly good "Boss It Down" with 10% ABV. The Lad also ordered a "Tall Plastic Cup" of Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout 7% ABV, simply the best of the rest..:) We also munched on a very good "Duck Taco" from the adjoining... "White Duck" taco shop..:) Fun watching College Women's Softball Championship on the big screen. Florida Gators won this round..:) An enjoyable respite from the Nashville Crowds for these BabyBoomers..:) There's a little hotel.. Called the Shady Rest At the Yeehaw junction! Sunday sippin in the sunshine at its finest. Good place for a post brunch brew and tacos at the white duck. They had the women's NCAA championship game on the outdoor big screen. Yard games and a chill crowd watching Iowa's Caitlin Clark make history.

Super Fun but not for an enthusiast... Let's call modern "moonshine" what it is shall we...it's a tourist trap, a fun one but not one that's changing anyone's tastebuds for the better. This isn't a knock on ole smoky as much as a nock on the whole trend of "moonshine" distilleries. I remember going to ole smoky when they only had two products, now they have exponentially more with every flavor you can imagine and a few more you never wanted to imagine. At the end of the day, it's a good time and that's what the area is about...win win

Fun spot to grab a couple drinks and play some corn hole with friends. We also got some moonshine souvenirs to bring home. There are plenty of choices and items to bring as gifts. Service was super friendly and helpful when choosing different flavors to bring home.

It was my first time at Ole Smokey, I've been waiting to go here for so long and really enjoyed it! It was 10-15$ for the tasting which I think is reasonable and towards the end of the tasting you get a 10$ off coupon. Of course I ended up buying some moonshine towards the end :) I also went to the bar area and tried all of the flavors and there were many flavors that I enjoyed, I would definitely love to come back and experience this again! If you are visiting Nashville, this is definitely something to add to the list !

Love this place. I have had the moonshine apple pie a bunch of times but it was nice to try it in person. Really clean, great outdoor space. They have a tasting of moonshine you can do at the bar. Outdoor area has food trucks so you can grab a snack to pair with your drinks.

This place was such a blast! We walked there from our hotel and as we were coming in and a bus had just pulled up with a bunch of people. There's no seating around the tasting area so it's standing room only. They have multiple people giving you samples in different areas. At first we got to choose a beer but I don't like beer so I chose I think it was a cider? Anyway, after we got that and every person got their beer of choice, they started giving us the samples of the moonshine. First, we tried the orange that was saturated moonshine. It was amazing. Next we tried the cherry and the pickle. I was amazed, I love the pickle. It was so good. It was hard to drink the blue flame. It had a lot of kick to it. My favorite was the snickerdoodle and the bull's-eye. We got coupons for spending a certain amount. we ended up getting two T-shirts and six moonshines and came with a free tote bag. There were so many moonshine to pick from and they're completely dangerous, dangerously good! Everyone standing around the bar was having a good time, laughing and joking around. It was just a lot of fun and relaxing and a great thing to do in Nashville.

Visiting from Memphis and I've had their moonshine before so why not. The $10 tasting included 4 (or 5?) different moonshines, a choice of beer and a pineapple whiskey; it was pretty good. Risky move ending with a chocolatey 'shine but thankfully didn't have a stomach issue. Bartender Pat was solid and we were given $10 off on any moonshine on the wall after the tasting. We went on a very busy day and were crammed like sardines around the bar. You'll have a better experience than me if you go on a slow day.

Came on a Saturday morning, and the place was so packed we couldn't get in to order a tasting. There was a live band playing, so we sat and enjoyed that awhile before moving on to somewhere else.

Great outdoor space in the spring/summer! Fantastic atmosphere to watch games and hang out with big crowds. We did the "tour" and the group had a great time--very informative and you get your money's worth with the samples!

This place was soooo awesome!! If you're feeling a little moonshine, check out the moonshine tastings!! If you're feeling a little beer, check out the beer flights!! My boyfriend and I couldn't decide on what beer we wanted to we opted to a flight of beer so we could try different ones. WOW it was so good!! The ambiance is welcoming and the bartenders were very knowledgeable. Highly recommend stopping in and checking it out!!

Just order off of total wine... its cheaper even with California taxes then to order an entire case and haul it to the airport. I did not find anything that was exclusive to Tennessee as we were told by the guy giving our tastings. The moonshine was pretty strong and the flavored ones are pretty sugary but very tasteful. There are many selections of moonshine to choose. Also, there is a taco shop inside. I would not recommend the taco shop they didn't have even salsa but put cucumbers in shrimp on a tortilla and called it a taco which was really weird. There's also the option to sit and chill with any beer and watch a game on the other half of the distillery.

This Ole Smoky is slightly different from the one in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. They offer you a variety of samples as well as a beer. The beer was awful, but that is because I don't like beer. The rest of the moonshine and creams were based on liking. You get a good variety for $15 per person and then the $10 off coupon after. So you are really spending $5 for a sampling if you use your coupon. The staff were really friendly and our server was friendly and funny! They were not overly busy for a Friday at 7pm. That said, they also have a bar and the bar serves many of their drinks, however not enough for my liking. They focused on the shots and beer, with little emphasis on the moonshines or creams. It would have been nice for more specialty cocktails. I would have ordered something if they had their creams or moonshines in other than shot form, or offered at all. Alas, I passed because they only had shots or beer. The place was clean and comfortable though. Easy walking distance to Broadway or the convention center. I like the sampling because I tend to want to sample before paying for a jar not knowing I'd like it.

What a great place! So many choices of moonshine beer etc. Also a great outdoor space to hang out. The Moonshine tasting is a must do if you're in the area. So many flavors I didn't even know existed.

It was a nice time. You can get 7 shots of their weekly menu, plus a beer for $10, then a $10 coupon. Can't beat it.

What a fun spot! The tasting was amazing. We visited during our visit to Nashville. this place was really cool and they had a great selection of moonshine whiskey and treats! The gentleman who ran our tasting behind the bar was super knowledgeable and gave us some very cool facts about the faces on some of the alcohol bottles I would definitely recommend and I also didn't feel like it was a Tourist trap. The prices were very fair. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing place. Great blends of whiskey and "moonshines" Terrific indoor and outdoor areas. Highly recommend the Watermelon Moonshine drink. Pretty good food options too.

A fun stop after brunch while we were checking out the area. The tasting was fun with flavors that rotate often and a $10 voucher for gift shop purchases at the end. Make sure you check out the website to see what flavors are only sold at the location so you can bring home something unique! The tasting is a nice mix of both the drinks and the moonshine soaked fruits and a beer if a chaser is needed. Our host for the tasting was not as lively on the guy on the other side of the bar, but the experience was still enjoyable. There is a lot of seating on the bar side with a large TV perfect for games. They also had board games as well as corn hole outside to keep the whole group entertained.

This place is half moonshine distillery and half brewery. Huge indoor and a big outdoor area as well. Had so much fun here, drinks were delicious and there's a shopping area for souvenirs. Tip: If you do a moonshine tasting ($10) you get a $10 voucher to shop for merch with no minimum high was nice. Highly recommend it here!

This place is awesome, as soon as I walked in with my dog they immediately gave her a dog bowl and offered to bring it anywhere I sat. The bang bang shrimp tacos are a 10/10 and the watermelon cider is also a great choice on a warm day! This is a perfect sunny day spot that you can relax during the day with some friends, enjoy some good music, food and beer. BIG plus that it's dog friendly with a big area to walk around and just enjoy some good food. Hate that I'm leaving Nashville soon to move but when I come threw, we will be stopping every time

Use the coupons in the travel coupon books! Or server Ryan had us laughing at her whit the whole time during our tasteing. (Walk around and listen to the tasting servers so you get a fun one like Ryan) Ask for a passport!!!! They give you a passport card (one per person in your group) a poker chip and a stamp, go down the street to the next one, another stamp and chip, last at the Island at pigon forge, last stamp last poker chip AND A FREE SHIRT!!!! (per passport, so me and the hubby match )

Came here with my buddies around 6 pm on a Monday. Wasn't busy at all and there was plenty of seating. Did look like it picked up a bit when we left around 8ish. We didn't try any of the moonshines, but we all got beers and they were pretty good. Ordered food at the taco place and they were pretty good. They have a stage and a big screen that was showing the Predators hockey game. They also had TVs all around where you can watch other sports. They also have a big outdoor seating area, but it looks like it was closed. We didn't visit the store, but looks like they have a lot of pretty cool and interesting souvenirs to buy. Overall, pretty cool and relaxed atmosphere and a pretty cool place to grab a few drinks and grab something to eat.

Bartenders are great. Super friendly. Go try their sampler for $15. You get a good variety, tasting 7 different "moonshines" and your choice of one of about 8 beers. The beer pour is 9oz. The moonshine is great, the beers can be hit or miss. Depends how much you like beer I guess, I'm not a big beer drinker myself. When you finish you get a $10 off coupon to go shop around the store too. Pretty nice. Highly recommend checking it out if you're looking to kill some time and not break the bank in the area.

Loved it here . They do a great job with the tastings. You get like 5 samples for $13 and a $10 off coupon that you can use for the store including moonshine. One of my fav distilleries. We didn't eat but they also had food and a bar.

The review is only for the distillery side - I didn't have any food. You can taste 7 different moonshines and whiskies plus a beer of your choice, and the cost of tasting is essentially refunded if you decide to buy something from the store. I didn't expect to like the moonshines, and they actually were all delicious. Mandarin was delicious, and pineapple with piña colada was literally a bottled Caribbean beach (depending on what you associate with vacation). Grilled pineapple whiskey was another favorite, perfectly tasting like grilled pineapple. Our server Matthew was very knowledgeable and friendly. This was fun experience, definitely recommended.

Time: 7pm Friday Meal: Moonshine Tasting Pros: -Friendly staff. Jokes around a lot. -Large selection of all the items. -Bar on the other side of tasting room that serves food and drinks. Did not try food or drink. -Decent sized beer sample. -Rotating samples. You may get stuff you don't like. -Good sized gift shop with good stuff. Cons: -More expensive than Pigeon Forge ($15 with a $10 coupon.) - Beers aren't anything special, but you get a decent pour. -A little loud because of the bar side. -The bar side offers little in terms of cocktails from the Ole Smoky line.

We love ole smoky distillery and yee-haw brewing! The beers are good and we love all of the outside space. You can play yard games or find enough space to spread out. Our dog loves going as well!

Ole Smoky is an absolutely Nashville Staple! We stopped by to do one of their tastings and ended up spending all afternoon there! The tasting was amazing and we even ended up buying merch. Super cool vibe and a must visit!

SOOOO MUCH FUN!!! This was the first stop when we got to Nashville and we had a blasttt. Is a brewery connected to a moonshine distillery. Live music, outdoor games, hugeeeeee area for drinks and food came out quick. Def stop in!

After hearing from a friend, how good their moonshine is, I made it a mission to try it myself and I was not disappointed. I love how lively and packed this place is. The bartenders were so kind and entertaining and moonshine was smooth and flavorful.

So glad we popped into this place for a tasting! Such an elevated vibe - much more well organized and entertaining than a typical brewery or distillery- huge stage with terrific live music and two bars, food trucks, taco stand, and tons of retail gear. The bartenders were fun & welcoming. We really enjoyed our visit and best of all- the moonshine is OUTSTANDING!

We weren't the first people to wander in while visiting Nashville and I can see why we won't be the last. If I'm on vacation looking for a good time, this is it. Tacos were solid, drinks good and set up is expert for maximum fun vibes. My only feedback is drink and merch choices were a little too overwhelming but it tells me people love this place and wear it with pride.

The beer is delicious, and the tacos are very yummy. The atmosphere is very cool and they have a huge outdoor area.

My friend and I went to a Smoky distillery to do a moonshine tasting. There were two options for tasting a classic, and a premium which included two additional moonshines we opted for the premium, because, why not? Also, when you do a tasting you get to choose a "Yeehaw" beer to wash everything down. A chaser if you will, for the moonshine. Some of the flavors that we tasted were amaretto, apple pie, peppermint and butter scotch. I was so surprised as to how good everything tasted. Also, if you do a tasting you get a $10 coupon for the gift shop which I made sure to load up on a bunch of souvenirs. Afterwards, we went to get drinks on the other side of the store made from the moonshine. There's also a small place to order food from overall I had a very pleasant experience here I just wish that they sold their moonshine in the mini versions so I could have pack some in my suitcase! But besides that, they do have some really good deals on their moonshines.

Again I wish I could do 3.5 stars but I will round up based on service. Found a seat at the bar and started with a blackberry Moscow mule. The blackberry mule was good. Would try it again Then I let the bartender roll the dice twice. First one was the Watermelon margarita. Not the best but good. It was odd because it had an odd finish. Almost Carmel like. The third role was their version of a Long Island iced tea. Definitely the best way to end the night. All three were tasty and the service was spot on. The taco counter is recommended. I had the steak and fried chicken taco. The chicken is the way to go. The place has plenty of tvs. The shop is huge. Lots of liquor options and trinkets. Definitely a good place to try that is not on the strip but close to some of the hotels.

We visited Ole Smoky for the afternoon while visiting a friend in Nashville, and wow was it fun. Their tasting is a must, and honestly, you will feel it after! They offered us many different kinds to try out - from super strong to sweet and yummy. My personal favorite was the moonshine pickles (and yes, we left with a jar to bring back home). They play lots of fun music and have food available as well. This is the kind of place you will want to stay and hang out for a while! We can't wait to come back again when we visit in the future.

This is a great activity during the day in Nashville for big or small groups. You could easily spend all day here. My bestie and I came for the tasting (only $12 + tip). While we waited for a tasting to start, we shopped around. They have a bunch of cool, good quality merch. After our tasting we went to one of their other bars to hang out and drink. I ordered the lavender lemonade which was very good and refreshing too. They have live music (duh), a bunch of games, and big screen TVs.

We walked here from the JW, just a few blocks, our first night in Nashville. We wanted a more laid back atmosphere, as we had three littler kids. The space is huge with lots of tables, space, and lots going on. I believe you have to order at the bar, as well - I don't think we had anyone come to the table to take a drink order. They have White Duck Food Truck as their food provider, so you have to order at the window, no table service. Drinks were good - we found a few craft beers we enjoyed. The food was awesome! White Duck has been on my list for a few years and I am so excited we stumbled upon it! The giant pretzel was so good - the queso that came with it... i could have drank it! All the tacos we got were amazing. I love how unique they are! There was an awesome outdoor area with yard games and firepits - it was a little chilly so not many people outside enjoying them. They have this little building near the outdoor stuff (so not inside the actual restaurant) that has a good sized free arcade area. Hunting game, video games, and a claw game (that one you did have to pay for). So, for a group with kids - this was awesome!! We were all impressed with this location and the fun mix of things they had going on. Lots to do and see in one venue! We would definitely come back.

Stopped by here on St. Patrick's Day afternoon and had a great time. They had lots of screens to watch sports, ample inside and outdoor seating, and great beers, whiskeys, moonshines and cocktails. Their specialty tacos and Doghaus hot dogs were excellent. I would definitely go back.

Great restaurant/bar/distillery just far enough away from the madness of Broadway street. Limited on the food items but you have a variety to choose from and they were all delicious.

So when did Nashville you gotta try moonshine and with that being said I looked up some places and this was one of the places that was in downtown Nashville just a few blocks from Broadway. There's a tasting area and there's a bar seating area that she could sit relax and watch some games and it's also a stage for bands the back bar area, their beer they make along with their drink cocktails And the other side of the building is there tasting area where you get a host explaining all the drinks you're about to take in my guy was pretty funny They sell their merchandise along with their different flavors of moonshine, so if you're in the area, I would highly recommend coming here and check in this place out

I wasn't going to stop in here because whiskey isn't really my jam, but it was a block away from by air bnb, so why not? And I am glad I did. The tasting was fun and well organized and the place was packed. They had some cream-based whiskey and whiskey-soaked fruits that I really enjoyed.

Fun place. ENORMOUS tv inside and outside for the game. Solid variety of drinks. Fun place would def go back. Staff was incredibly friendly.

Went in and tried the moonshine tasting. While the staff were friendly and made sure you knew what you were drinking, and it was rushed. The 7 samples went by so fast due to the game being played today and a very large crowd. I understand wanting to grt as many people in as possible, but it would have been nice to be rushed back to back to back with the samples. For the $15, you get 7 samples, a 6oz beer pour, and $10 off moonshine coupon.

This place was so much fun to hang out. Inside there was live music and the entertainers were all good. Outside you could hang with the deejay and play cornhole. There were food trucks if you got the munchies. Definitely a good stop if you're looking to hang in one spot all night.

We had a really great time here! It is pretty close to many other things you could want to do in Nashville and doesn't require a lot of time to visit. They have a bunch of drinks that showcase their moonshine and other liquors as well as an extensive list of beers and a section for ordering food. The tasting section seemed pretty cool but we were overwhelmed by the number of people that were there. The bar area is massive and has a very large projector if you're interested in watching a game that may be on at the time of your visit.

We stayed at a RV park in Goodlettesville and saw the flyer for Ole Smoky Distillery & Yee-Haw Brewing Company. The name of the beer alone had us intrigued, so when we arrived in the heart of Nashville, we headed to Ole Smoky/Yee-Haw to check it out. It's a very large space, that includes the distillery for the Ol Smoky moonshine, the Yee-Haw brewery, bars both indoor and out, a huge merchandise shop with all the moonshine you can think of, big screen TVs and a stage for live entertainment both indoors and outdoors. Food options are Daddy's Dogs and White Duck Taco. I don't drink (I'm allergic), but my husband knows that where he goes for the drinks, he knows that there had better be food for his DD, ya know? Having read previous reviews and the description in the bio of their Yelp page, I thought that Prince's Hot Chicken was located here, so I was even more excited to go to Ol Smoky/Yee-Haw. However, to my disappointment, but then to my delight at the same time, it had been replaced by Daddy's Dogs. If you are not aware, I heard that Prince's was the inventor of the famous Nashville hot chicken sandwich, so I was getting ready to dig my teeth in this legendary sandwich from the OG. But, unfortunately, that did not happen. So no Prince's (they moved to the Food Assembly Hall).On the other hand, I had seen Daddy's Dogs featured on Somebody Feed Phil (although not their OG location on Printer's Alley) on Netflix, so I wasn't too disappointed. The other food option, White Duck Taco, originally from Asheville, was actually recommended to me when visiting Asheville a couple of years ago, and although never never made it, seems like it's another solid and popular option. All in all, it attracts quite the crowd. Super busy and attracts the tourists (yes, me included). If you like moonshine, you'll find every flavor under the sun. We bought the banana one for my BIL and as far as food goes, they're solid options! Stay safe, Friends!
