Reflecting on my visit to 7 Clans Brewing. With more than 600 different brewery visits I can emphatically say that this is a brewery worth visiting. I tasted all of the 7 beers on tap. Each was true to formula. The 7 Clans Blonde Ale was flavorful and well bodied with a slightly spicy (hoppy) last impression. The Hop-Rooted IPA is a textbook single hip Centennial presenting abundant aroma, mouthfeel and body. The Uktena Double IPA is exceptionally tasty, with a balanced of five hops and sufficiently supportive sweet grains. At 10.3% ABV I still pondered a big straw. The Bended Tree Chestnut Brown Ale is the spicy, nutty, sweet beer you hope for when ordering a brown. The Milk Stout was as full-bodied and flavorful as it should be without being too heavy (sweet) due to lactose. The Strawberry Saison was perfect to form: smooth mealtimes and subtle fruity/spicy within the saison yeast realm. The Sali Persimmon Sour presents the combined tartness of a sour in the form of persuasions. Finally, Cassie presented each beer with a smile and a backing g of beer knowledge. The open air ambiance on a spring day added to the many positives of the visit:
