"The newest outpost of 7 Devils Brewery, long a mainstay in downtown Coos Bay, takes it up a notch with a thoughtfully designed, contemporary art-filled waterfront ale house. Views of the bay fill the main bar and dining area thanks to a wall of tall windows, where diners can watch tugboats float by from waterfront tables or settle into comfy booths. On a dreary day, the fireplace room is the place to enjoy your pint. Try a dry-hopped Lighthouse Session Pale Ale during summer or a community collaboration brew like the Chinook Redd Ale, with proceeds going to support habitat improvements for salmon. To accompany the beers, select from favorites like salads with seasonal greens and produce grown nearby, Oregon-caught rockfish-and-chips, or smoked meatloaf." - Jennifer Burns Bright

7 Devils was a great spot and a must try! We were in Coos Bay for a camping trip and found this place on the water and tried it for lunch and for dinner while in town. It is definitely the nicest restaurant in town and has beautiful views and great atmosphere. My husband and friends said the fish and chips were amazing- specifically the halibut. I had the BLT and meatloaf- both amazing. The Spindrift IPA was delicious, I even bought more at the campground we stayed at that was selling local beers. We even bought shirts here for the memory!

This place is in a fairly new retail complex positioned right on the river, which we had a nice view of. Our service was on the slow side, but our waitress did tell us after she brought our orders out that my fish had been dropped, so the had to grill a fresh one. My wife’s tea refill also took far too long. My wife enjoyed her rice bowl. My salad was good, but could have used a bit more flavor.

Went here for the first time for my Birthday, on a friend’s recommendation. Had a great a time with some good food. The staff were friendly and very on top of things. I had the in house made bratwurst it was quite good. Ask for extra gravy for the spetziel! Cocktails were good they have an interesting variety. The smoked fish platter appetizer is excellent! Food was great, service was great and atmosphere was great. Be a good spot in the summer to sit outside right in the water, the view is great. Worth a stop!

The beer here is crisp, refreshing, and perfectly suited for a relaxing evening by the bay. The Caesar salad with steelhead is an absolute must-try—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, with great service and stunning views. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is well worth a visit!

Let’s be honest, you can’t taste everything in one seating. Today, I sampled a cup of chowder and an albacore tuna melt. The chowder at first hit me with clam and great flavor and well put together seasonings, then came the disappointment of smoke flavoring. It lingers, and now I’m not sure if the albacore had a hint of smoke in the tartar sauce or not. It could be that the white cheddar cheese used was smoked. To me, restaurants should ALWAYS let you know when they are adding artificial smoke to a meal.

Arrived about 1:50 pm, so the actual lunch crowd would have dissipated by then. We were seated immediately and had a great view of the waterfront. The bartender was our waiter. I had the Oregon Burger, which had arugula for the vegetation, so it was tasty but no crunch since the onions were caramelized, and geuyer cheese cheese was the knly other ingredient besides the handmade burger patty on a brioche bun. I don't know what the sauce was, maybe ketchup and mayo. The burger tasted great, and I ate it all, but by the end, I was missing crunchy lettuce and some mustard and wanted to deep six the mayo from the sauce. The fries that came with the burger and my friends' fish and chips were excellent. The number of fries that came with the burger was scant, but my friend gave me several of theirs, and all was good. The Arago Amber Ale may be my new favorite beer. My friend loved their fish and chips, and I ate most of the coleslaw. There was a man playing soft music on a guitar, and the volume was perfect, made for relaxing time. The pictures and artwork throughout the restaurant were very nice, I thought. Will be back here again, but I will be going to the downtown 7 Devils restaurant because they have nachos that are most excellent.

Google
Our dining experience was utterly disappointing, marked by an overwhelmingly BLAND and terrible food selection. We ordered a variety of dishes, hoping for at least one redeeming plate, but every single item left us dissatisfied. To make matters worse, the service was abysmal; we couldn't get anyone's attention for water refills or additional beers. This establishment consistently failed on both culinary execution and basic hospitality, making for a truly regrettable meal. (Picture to show items ordered and NONE were even close to being finished)

Google
One of the brightest, most lovely vibes that coos bay has to offer. Been coming here for years (I didn’t know I hadn’t reviewed it already), and I’ve always enjoyed it. Recently got the meatloaf, and it was very good. I also recommend the burger, calamari, and steelhead.

Yelp
Delicious grub with excellent and efficient service from attentive staff. I sat at the bar for the second time in my solo road trip where I observed and appreciated the attentiveness and effortlessness with which staff worked and supported each other at the bar and throughout the establishment. The drinks prepared by the bartender didn't wait long on the counter to be delivered by any available member of the staff. I had the fried oysters and garlic bread as an appetizer and the butter baked halibut with pesto orzo as my entree. The oysters were delicious and tender with the breading not being oily or overpowering while the garlic bread added an excellent tang of garlic. The halibut was flaky and and light. The creamy pesto was tasty with the orzo being a little watery but nothing a tilt of the plate couldn't help with. The beers were flavorful without being overpowering. I had a couple of their session IPAs that were not too IPA dry but we're flavorful. Also had two Coos (Coos Bay) Light Lagers with the meal to avoid overpowering the light tasting halibut and creamy pesto. The restaurant is not overcrowded with tables with large windows looking out over their portion of the bay. There were families with children but it would a not a place to let them run wild and free. Great experience and will be back

Yelp
Weird smell when entering. That should have tipped me off. Ordered French Onion soup and it was ONLY the broth. Zero melted cheese. Hard chunk of stale bread was on the side. Not sure where they learned to make that soup, but that was NOT right. Truly only order it for the CHEESE that I didn't get. Service was fine. She took the soup off our ticket. Husband had clam chowder, he said it was ok. I chose to not reorder as I lost all faith with the sorry onion soup. No, I won't go back.

Yelp
7 Devils Waterfront Alehouse came as one of the top searches when we browsed through Yelp for dinner options around the area. What attracted us there was not just all the mouthwatering food pictures, but the view as well! We were hiking around the Oregon Dunes and the food there looked delicious post-hike. Since there seemed to be a wait, we made sure to get on the wait-list for 7:30PM timeslot, which worked perfectly timing wise. Parking is plentiful as they are located inside a plaza. We got there on time, but we still had to wait a bit for our table to get set up. Interior of this place is spacious. There's bar seating, both small and big table seats, and outdoor patio seating if you wanted. We got seated near the window with the waterfront view which was amazing to see! For food, I ended up opting for Quinoa Bowl because I wanted something light and some of the ingredients are local. I also got the Soup of the Day to share with my partner and the soup today was a Chicken & Rice soup. Our waiter said it was flavorful, and it sounded comforting since it got pretty chilly by that time. I also wanted to try their Blackberry Lemonade! Again, I think their blackberries were locally sourced, so I wanted to try it. My partner got their Oregon Beef Burger, medium rare, with a side of Coleslaw. And a seasonal Nitro Porter. Food came really quick. Drinks came first. The Blackberry Lemonade was a bit frizzy, mildly sweet, and pretty refreshing. It would be lovely for a hot summer day like today, except I came during a chilly late dinner time, so it was a bit too cold for me to fully enjoy, but nonetheless, I did enjoy it. Soup came after and as our server has said it was a flavorful bowl of soup! There's plenty of ingredients in there and it was almost porridge like. Honestly, I could have been happy with just this bowl of soup tonight. It was both comforting and warming. Not to mention, hearty as well. As for my Quinoa Bowl - this comes with beets, Oregon hazelnuts, green beans, roasted tomatoes, microgreens, and a hazelnut sauce. There's plenty of ingredients inside despite how small the plate looked. The quinoa was made fluffy, but I think the overall bowl was lacking a bit of flavor. There is a kind of hazelnut sauce on there, but if I'm not misidentifying the sauce, then I would say the sauce is too thick to evenly coat the other ingredients. It's almost like a hummus spread consistency, so clumps of quinoa sort of just stuck to it. The roasted tomatoes were delicious. Beets were nicely cooked and the beans were okay. I think there could be a little more flavor to the beans as well. All in all though, it was a healthy comforting bowl as well. I didn't get to sample my partner's Oregon Beef Burger, but by the looks of it, it looks loaded. The cheese melt looked amazing even though I can't eat it and it was made medium rare just like my partner requested. On the other hand, I did take a sip of my partner's Nitro Porter and it was delicious! Even for someone like me who doesn't normally drink. It had a velvety, deep, chocolatey taste to it. I wouldn't be able to have the whole glass to myself, but I enjoyed sampling. Aside from food, service was friendly, but really quick to the point. I did notice that although the staffs look friendly, they also looked pretty tired and unenthusiastic by this time of night. I don't blame them, but I do feel for them! They seem to get really busy, and with how big the space is, they probably do endless amount of running around. All in all, would still recommend if you're looking for a great spot with a view!

Yelp
Very pleasant experience at 7 Devils. A friend of ours told us about this place and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is new and clean, with a modern feel. We were seated directly in front of the fireplace which was good because it was cold outside. Our food was excellent. We were told that they had the best fish and chips around, and that was clearly evident. My wife had the fish and chips and I had the Steelhead. This was my first time ever having steelhead, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The service at the restaurant was attentive and timely. You'll want to give an extra tip at this place.

Yelp
Always a great time at 7 Devils Waterfront! Amazing food and great staff. If they have it, make sure to get the matcha Russian! It's heavenly! There's no such thing as a bad view in this place.

Yelp
Sadly, meh! The experience could have been better in several areas. For starters, this place is so over priced, it's sickening. 50 bucks for a ribeye AND you pay for sides. I'd rather drive to El Gaucho's in Portland. The good: service was okay. Prompt. Seated quickly. Quick to order. Quick to serve. Drinks were good. They are known for their beer and it doesn't disappoint. My Ale was as expected. My wife loved her margarita. Place was clean. The bar looked like the place to be. View of the bay from just about every angle. The not so good: my wife was asked if, "medium is okay" for her burger, versus, "how would you like your burger cooked?" Waitress didn't even ask me and walked away before I could spit out a response. Burgers were far from medium. Undercooked. Burgers were too saucey. Fries were like a 5-year old mashed them, then served them. Bus boy literally tried to take my water glass as I was drinking. Had me a little annoyed. I set my napkin down and he picked it up. Versus, "are you done with that?" Felt rushed. Too many open tables for that. I won't be back here. Too pushy. I'm here to relax. To pretentious. I can get their beer many other places. The foods not worth the expense.

Yelp
We had a great lunch! We ordered the fish and chips, beet salad, clam chowder, margarita with jalapeño, and beer of course. All of it was excellent! The clam chowder was an elevated version of the classic and I loved it. The views of the bay were excellent as was the service. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
They had nice and fast serves the food was ok they have multiple meals that sounded good. I had a BLT it was ok and had some good fries.

Marina M.

Yelp
Stopped in for some cocktails and snacks while visiting. We sat at the bar and the service was great from the start. The bar tender was friendly and service was quick. The Coos Light lager is crisp and fun! As they call it "a lawn mowing beer" as you might suspect, it's comparable to a Coors Light.... But I think it is better. Tried a couple of house cocktails, and the Bam Bam Milk Punch was INCREDIBLE! The milky flavor but clarity of the drink is hard to explain. I followed that up with That Nicholas Cage, the truffle aroma paired with the honey, lavender and bourbon was probably my favorite; "Umami Bomb" is no shy way of describing the drink. The crab cakes were alright, maybe not a crispy as I would have enjoyed but still delicious. The Rockfish Croquettes were something to have again! The crunchy outside, the orzo pixed with fish and the tartar were *chefs kiss* I would suggest you make a reservation if you plan on getting a table as the place filled up quick, but its worth the weight if you enjoy cocktails, brews and good company and views.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch and beer. We have a small RV and were pleased there was ample parking. Sat on nice front patio, the service was great. Small menu but the food and beer were awesome.

S P.

Yelp
Everything on the menu is delicious! My personal fave is the steelhead, it is cooked perfectly every time. The Bar Manager, Ryan Harris, has come up with quite the exquisite and unique cocktail menu that Coos Bay has been lacking for a very long time! The Waterfront location is also a partial employee owned restaurant and it so shows in food & service. The ambiance is blended with local art and pieces of Coos Bay making it an eclectic & rad stop when in town.

Nith V.

Yelp
Beautiful location by the bay. They had a good selection. I had kimchi rice because, for the first time I found a place where they didn't have fish/oyster sauce in kimchi. It was very oily though. Others got fish and chips and it was okay. We also ordered pickle plate which was good. Service was courteous and fast.

Austin L.

Yelp
This was our first stop in coos bay and it was the perfect place to eat some lunch and have a drink. I had a cereal milk punch drink that immediately interested me when I read about clarified cereal milk. It was sugary and good to sip on. The fish and chips were hot out of the oil when we got them and i was eating the tartar sauce with fries which I wouldn't normally do. Amazing views of the bay and very fast service.

Adriana S.

Yelp
Very aggressive management. Witnessed someone get a drink ripped out of their hands for complaining to a manager about their wait time. Cook who said he was a manager or owner aggressive shoved someone for being upset. The customer didn't even raise his voice or anything. Scared me and my son so much that we left before even eating anything. Don't go here! Location looks nice but seems very poorly ran. After reading other reviews seems like the food sucks too. Maybe the cook should focus on cooking instead of fighting customers. Disgraceful.

John O.

Yelp
Unlike a lot of brewery restaurants, this place is pretty upscale. They have a full bar. The booze and wine selections are premium brands. We came for lunch and sat at the bar. We were offered what appeared to be one menu for both lunch and dinner. Only after eating did we see someone else at the bar get a lunch menu with like 5 items on it. The top item I could see was the same fish and chips I ordered at the same price. Not sure if there were lunch specific items. For lunch that makes for some hefty prices with steak and fresh fish featured. My wife got the mac n cheese which is listed as an appetizer. Not sure in who's world one gets a big crock of it as an appetizer. A few other smaller mains were placed under appetizers. I guess if it's under $20 they don't think it is a main. We enjoyed our food and the house beers were good to great. The porter was one of the best I've had. Service from the bartender was attentive and helpful. If you want a fancy beer lunch this is a good pick.

Yelp
My friends and I were camping with our horses about 15 minutes outside of north bend. I'd searched ahead of online for a dog friendly place with yummy food and I was not disappointed by the advice received! The setting is so nice, right up against the river. The building was super clean and open and the outdoor seating was great. And most importantly, dog friendly. All three of us had dogs, ranging from 60-115lbs. My ridgeback (the 115lb one) is a big fan of good burgers and he was not disappointed by his at all. I had the fish burger, fries and a Cesar salad. The salad was delicious, crisp lettuce and really good croutons with really good dressing. The burger was great, soft bun and homemade sauce with great slaw topping a really good fish burger. And the fries were legit! Service was great, they were super dog friendly (even made sure our dogs had a fresh bowl of water at the table!) and the place was super clean. Seriously, if you and your doggie are in the area this is the place to go.

Naya P.

Yelp
Amazing views, amazing service! I can tell that the staff truly cares about the integrity of the service they provide and the food they prepare!

Ciera L.

Yelp
It was fairly expensive for what you get, I got a hamburger and it was $21, even more because I added bacon (which added $3). My husband got fish and chips and it was 3 chunks of fish, so not very much. We also split a SMALL bowl of Mac and cheese and it was $14. It was a cool place in terms of location and decor, but the music was pretty loud so it was hard to hear each other across the table. There isn't a lot of seating either, so you'll likely have a wait time. The bathroom wasn't very clean, and had no soap, so it looked like it had been a while since they checked it. The wait staff was friendly, although the couple seated behind us were having nothing but issues with their food and service.

Lisa W.

Yelp
Geart food, beer and atmosphere. Love this place. Owners are friendly and very supportive of local programs.

Evan D.

Yelp
Unbelievably bad service. Went here with a large group of 10 and never got sat. Continually kept pushing back the time we would be seated and blamed it on other customers currently seated. They sat a group of 8 people that showed up after us but did not have any open tables for us?! Spoke with a manager who said "I have no where to seat you" when there was 4 four tops open. We waited over an hour and 45 minutes. Another friend from our group spoke with the manager to voice his frustration. She of course blew him off and continued to reinforce that it's a currently seated customers fault that we are not seated. Our friend continued to voice his frustration until a dishwasher came out of the kitchen, ripped his drink out of his hand and tried to shove him out the door! No threatening words or aggressive language was used so the action was extremely uncalled for. Police were contacted and report is being sent to the DA for further action! This place is horribly managed and should be shut down! According to the officer this place is known for bad food and clearly bad service!

Ward W.

Yelp
Good burgers, good beer selection and great location! The waiter went out of his way to make my wife some 'fry sauce'. Would definitely eat here again if in the area.

Linda B.

Yelp
Stopped in as we were walking around Coos Bay after attending a friend's wedding nearby. Sat at the bar and shared some appetizers and a house salad. All delicious. Great service.

Frank H.

Yelp
Service is good. Food is average. Good oysters but crab cakes were mushy. Not fresh, probably came off of warming tray. The clam chowder was ok, but thicker than I prefer. Would look for a better sea food restaurant next time.

Brian C.

Yelp
First things first. It's a brew pub. I think a lot of people just sort of let that slip by. They make beer here it is REALLY good beer! IPA fans...try the Groundswell. All of the beer I've tried is excellent. Served in the proper glass, at the proper temp. Food: the crabcakes are worth every penny. Fish and Chips, good and plenty. View is spectacular. The service is always top-notch.

Lonnan M.

Yelp
Food was amazing, it's been too long since I had a fantastic medium rare steak, delicious garlic bread and Brussels and mushrooms. Super friendly staff check in on you often even when it is busy. It feels comfortable inside it's a very nice ale house and they have some good house brews as well. A little loud when every patron is talking but that's normal, you don't go to these places for quiet lol shout out to the staff for an excellent job across the board from hostess, waiters, bartenders, and chefs. I will be back and I hope anyone reading this gives 7 Devils a shot!

Colton C.

Yelp
BRING YOUR BOXING GLOVES IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT! THEY TRIED TO HAVE THIS REMOVED!!The moment you try and make a complaint the part owner will come out and try to fight you. We waited 1 1/2 hours to be seated. When we came in to ask about why they were seating large groups before us they told us they were waiting for a specific table to seat us even though they had plenty of open tables they could have sat us at. We asked them to put some tables together for our group because we have been waiting so long. the "part owner" came out, ripped a copper cup out of one of our hands ( so hard it actually ripped the handle off of the cup) then proceeded to push him and tell him to leave or he would "take it outside". Got in our friends face and said he was the part owner and he could do what he wanted. Then Pushed him again and said let's step outside to handle this. None of us were aggressive at all before this. We definitely had frustration in our voices but no one raised their voice or anything. Then this guy came out of nowhere and wanted to fight. We called the cops, they said it wasn't an uncommon occurrence at this establishment and that they actually avoid going here because the food is subpar and service is absolutely terrible.

Danielle B.

Yelp
Excellent service, gorgeous location on the water, and the best burger I've had outside of Portland! The Spindrift hazy IPA is a fantastic fruity hazy. We also got the fish tacos, fish and chips, Mac and cheese, nachos, and garden salads. Not a single bad thing on the menu! So good!! Mac and cheese was to DIE for!

Kim T.

Yelp
The food is always awesome! The view is beautiful! We always try and go here when we visit the area.

Sarah M.

Yelp
We love this new location! It's such a treat to have good beer and be able to look out over the bay. My husband and I were visiting family so we all decided to grab a beer before exploring around Coos Bay. Every person in our group loved the beer they chose. Personally I would recommend their hazy, it's flavorful and refreshing. The only negative thing I have to say is we had an odd interaction with the host that greeted us. We got there at 11:15 so they had just opened but there were already plenty of people inside and on their patio. We had a group of 6 and told the host we'd prefer to sit outside. He told us the waitress for the outdoor area wouldn't be there till 12 so we'd have to wait 45 minutes. This kind of confused us because the area we wanted to sit in already had people eating and we didn't even want food. There were also plenty of open tables. My dad pointed this out to the host and he said they had a different waitress for that area. I'm sure there were a lot of factors we didn't know about but it just seemed odd. He was also very gruff and seemed to be getting annoyed by our confusion. We walked around the shopping mall and came back at 12 to a different hostess who was very kind seated us right away. This definitely wasn't a dealbreaker for us and we would absolutely go back but it did leave a funny taste in our mouths.

Jana H.

Yelp
Bummed to give mixed reviews on this because we want to love to support local businesses. The beer was excellent, but the food was extremely mediocre and bland. Really enjoyed the beer flight! Even the pale ale, which we do not usually prefer, was overall good. It was great that we could order as little or much (up to 7) tastings on the flight that we wanted. Tasted most of their in house brews and none disappointed (did not have either of their IPAs). Ordered the clam chowder and fish tacos for food. Clam chowder was good (hard to mess that up), but the fish tacos were super flavorless. They were just kind of blah. Another member of our party ordered the carrot noodles on the side and they were also extremely bland, even doctored up with salt and pepper. Would go again for the drinks, but not for the food. Maybe we did not order the right things.

Rick L.

Yelp
Very good meal. Great service and reasonable pricing. Dropping in while passing through Coos Bay. Had looked at the menu on Yelp and decided it looked worth the stop. The calamari was wonderful. Best appetizer ever. Had Steelhead and it was grilled perfectly. Well worth the stop. Good brews as well.

Cheng D.

Yelp
We came here to have our favorite meals , surprisingly the menu had changed even the dressing we like. Not too happy with Asian salad, hard to eat not too much dressing . I had to ask for more. The steel head was ok , brussel sprouts were too bitter. No barley , no rice. Carbs you can order with these are garlic bread. Not too happy today

M H.

Yelp
I came here during happy hour and stayed for dinner while I worked on my laptop at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. The location is right on the water so would be great on a sunny day/nice night to enjoy. I ordered the Groundswell IPA during HH which was a solid IPA. Nice and hoppy taste which is what I prefer. For dinner, I got a cup of the clam chowder and a Caesar salad which was plenty of food for one (salad was a generous portion!). Both were delicious and fresh. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

Sherry B.

Yelp
Ok so my last review was harsh. As a vegan it's frustrating to be offered and pay for so much food that truly doesn't please, but 7 Devils definitely are trying to make great choices for all types of diners. I had the Asian salad! Amazing tasty and good nutrition, it had such a varied selection of veggies and almonds and edamame beans. They have other delicious looking choices too. And who could forget the great beers!! My husband, a pescatarian, comes for the local oysters and loves them. As well as the beers.

Craig S.

Yelp
A fine joint! Keep promoting the tasty and nicely curated cocktail offerings and don't mess with food offerings. (a la the 'other' location)

Angelica K.

Yelp
In this part of Oregon, vegan options are HIGHLY APPRECIATED even if it's just one, so just for that it's a 5 star for me. Visiting family and most places we went too had absolutely no options. I immediately suggested going here once i researched the menu. Staff was was really courteous and helpful, considering I had a small child with me who was being extremely clumsy. The rice noodle bowl with tofu was very tasty. Reminded me of a pad Thai inspired dish. It's right on the water and super clean atmosphere. Highly suggest the devilish hibiscus margarita.

Kayla L.

Yelp
Beautiful location. Nice staff. Rockfish definitely not my favorite. The sole fish and burger were ok. Yummy fries, tartar sauce, meatloaf and crab cakes.

Steven W.

Yelp
We were on the "Charm Trail" & had worked up a bit of an appetite so we had an early dinner here & loved the view. A wall of windows looking out to the waterfront. The staff was friendly & attentive & the presentation of the food was great, but the food was mediocre at best. We each had a cup of clam chowder & their fish & chips. The fries were slightly burnt, while the fish were soggy. The chowder wasn't the best we've had in this area. We were disappointed with the food & although we're only here for a short visit, I doubt we'll come back.

Jacob H.

Yelp
If you're looking to have a conversation or a hometown locally brewed beer while experiencing some of the best food on the coast I'd suggest looking no further than the devils for your fix. Great staff and atmosphere at the restaurant and brewery. The menu is a great way to make your stomach very happy and the company will always make you feel welcome here. Top notch quality and excellent service.

Yelp
We were looking for a place to have lunch that had some vegetarian options (but would also satisfy a carnivore) after running a 10k race in Coos Bay. We arrived just after noon on a Saturday in mid-September. We could either wait for a table or sit at the bar, something we often do when there are no tables available. Hubby had a cup of clam chowder which was a generous enough size that he asked if it was a bowl. He followed up with a beef burger. I waffled between their veggie burger and the Baja Bowl but since the veggie burger was not housemade, I went with the bowl - sautéed corn, black beans, bell peppers, onions, cilantro, and queso fresco on a bed of brown rice. I added avocado for an extra charge and believe it was really needed to enhance the dish. Was also served with hot sauce on the side which added flavor. We both had beers on tap which were good. Walter was busy behind the bar but took care of us in a timely manner. Nice location on the water although sitting at the bar, we couldn't appreciate it!

Yelp
Yesterday was my second time here. I had heard rave reviews about the Mac N Cheese so I gave it a try. It looked so delicious but when I broke the crust I found undercooked Macaroni and the sauce was like warm milk. I was only provided with a knife and fork which did not work for the thin sauce. Got a spoon from the bartender. There was nothing holding the ingredients together. The only cheese I tasted was from the crust. When the waitress came with my bill and asked how my meal was I told her everything I listed here. The response was "I'm sorry" and walked way! The wine and view was great and deserves 5 stars but I took 3 away for the quality of my meal.

Yelp
Service is great and attentive and the drink selection is really awesome. Mixed, ciders, wine, beer...they have it all. Food is made well and I really haven't had a plate I didn't enjoy!! The place is right on the water and makes for a great feel and view wherever you sit. Best is outside on a sunny day!!

Yelp
I hate to say it but I had high hopes for this place and I was a bit disappointed. Service was slow and server seemed a overwhelmed. It gives the feeling of a regular sports bar however prices are high. Hamburger was average and so was the crab cake. It wasn't my favorite place to eat. The location however was very nice, right on the water

Yelp
My husband and I came here twice during our stay in Coos Bay. Both times our food, drinks, and service were outstanding. 100% recommend!

Yelp
Great food on the water, in the sunshine! Nothing better! This is one of our favourites!! Ceviche, fish and chips, and ahi tuna steaks!! Yes please! Don't even get me started on the beers! My one and only is a combo of two IPAs the Spindrift with the Groundswell are so good together!!

Yelp
I need to begin with a caveat: Nothing about the service OR the excellent fare offered here is less than five stars. Service, selection, prices, view - everything they offer is superb. What keeps this from being a five-star review is it's policy that welcomes young children. SOMEONE needs to bring this under control - and if the parents won't do it, it's up to p,laces like 7 Devils. On to the important things - my wife and I both ordered the Steelhead at $30 a plate. Simply put, $30 wasn't enough. A beautiful piece of fire-grilled Steelhead, approximately 4" x 4" x 3/4" was laid upon an incredible bed of orzo, topped with a supporting cast of fresh grilled string beans. To quote a Sixties commercial, "I can't believe I ate the whole thing!" It was so good that my wife and I made plans to return the next evening to relive the experience. Alas, it was closed (but at least there were no screaming children!). If you're in the area and like fish the way it's supposed to be done, this is high on my list of recommendations - just bring ear plugs and leave the kiddies at home. . .

Yelp
We came here for Christmas Eve linner and I am thankful they were open (as no where else was) and the food was good. The cocktails were lovely and some of the dishes they knocked it out of the park while some were just good. Out of our party of 6 the favorites were fish and chips and the NY strip. Fish and chips were perfectly battered and crispy. My husband said it was one of his favorites he's ever had. My mom and I split the NY strip and the miso cod. I was originally most excited for the miso cod since I love miso but it was just decent, brussel sprouts were just there. They didn't have any seasoning or flavor to them. The NY strip was sooo good though. Perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and had great flavor. My only thing with the plate was the roasted cauliflower didn't have anything happening to it just like the Brussel sprouts. I feel like the sides are definitely just an afterthought and far too simple. My brother got the ramen which he said was good but very small portion for being an entree. Overall it was a good meal, great service, pretty views, but we were just hoping for more at that price point.

Yelp
We enjoyed a nice lunch here after arriving in town. We started with a cup of clam chowder, and it was hearty and seasoned well. We followed it up with the Halibut fish and chips for my wife and the Steelhead entree for me. The fish and chips were lightly battered, and the fish was flaky. My steelhead was nicely prepared and the garnish that comes with the entree was good. We ended lunch with strawberry shortcake. It was good but the cake was not as moist as I would have liked. Service was very good and our server helped us navigate a good beer selection. The food came out quickly. The views: outstanding. We didn't sit on their patio but had wonderful views of the Bay while we ate lunch.

Yelp
Wow this place will not disappoint you, if it does then you may want to evaluate your soul. The front staff was awesome when I ran in and asked if our big boy (dog) could sit with us on the patio and the answer was a total . Our waitress was a breath of fresh air!! She brought our big boy a bowl of cold water. Thank you Jeanine for your amazing attitude. More people like you need to walk this earth! Now, food review! Margarita was on point!! Fish tacos were to die for, from presentation to taste, amazing! BLT is a must try cause I had flavor exploding in my mouth with that one. Chicken Caesar salad was hands down the best I have ever had.
