7-Eleven

Walking around downtown and checking out the sights, I spotted this 7-Eleven as I was about to pass out from thirst. It's hot today! Quickly popping in for a cold bottle of water was easy enough. The store is... okay. Not dirty but not clean. Stocked but not completely. Lit but not brightly. I've experienced better 7-Elevens but this one is convenient and located in an urban location so it's going to be a little bit beat up. Okay enough.

Nice convenience store in downtown Detroit, well stocked and reasonably priced. Good mix of drinks, snacks, and prepackaged meals. Staff were friendly and quick to process checkout.

Absolutely disgusting store. As soon as I went in, it felt so gross. And then I couldn't get my wheelchair all the way to the coolers in back because the aisles were blocked.

Not open 24 hours as they say.. walked over from my hotel to get water and Gatorade and they were closed.. waste of time at night to get water and such if you need.. dont bother..

The doors were locked so I couldn't shop for what I needed. Open 24hrs or nah? More like nah.

Wasn’t pleased at all with the experience I received at this7 eleven staff was very unfriendly and rude. After I made my purchase and made payment I went to receive my receipt email. The cashier quickly responded with clearing the information off before I could even punch in my information. When I said i wanted to receive my points he then waved me off like get out. I told him he was rude and that was very unprofessional of him he hunched his shoulders telling me he didn’t care.

This place is really crowded in the morning around rush-hour home again they’re really overpriced but they do have a nice selection of prepackaged meat sandwiches and fresh fruit and salads they are just over priced. The store owners and cashiers can be really rude sometimes, They over talk to you and brush you out of the store the nacho machine is dirty and they don’t really cleaned up as often as they should.

It was fine. I was able to use the ATM and get a quick snack. The clerk was friendly and helpful.

Greedy and overcharge you if you're black it is a very frustrated experience because it is the only one downtown. They won't get any more of my money no sir

Love having a 7-11 convenience store right in the heart of downtown! The location in Cadillac Square makes this store super accessible to many of the neighboring businesses. They carry most of the traditional items you'd find in any 7-11 including one of my favorites that brings me in often, multiple flavors of hot coffee made fresh throughout the day. The hot food choices seem to be very popular with many of the patrons, and the wide variety of Slurpee flavors are a big hit on hot days. In the center of the store, there is a cold case that holds sandwiches, salads and even fresh fruit and veggies or hummus. This is also a great spot for those odds and ends that you need quickly in the office, but forgot to bring in from home like household goods, or things like tape or superglue. The shelves seem to always be fully stocked when I visit. The one sorta bad thing is the fact that like many downtown businesses, there are sometimes a few unsavory looking characters that try to hang out near the entrance door. But they never bother me when I frequent, and the location is so super busy with patrons constantly coming and going that I always feel safe.

I was downtown and ran out of milk for my son so I thought I would run in really quick. The milk in the cooler was expired thank God I smelled it before giving it to my 2 year old son.The line was super long and the store itself is tiny.

Staying in a hotel nearby and this place is convenient for late night snacks, over the counter medicine and the like. The staff is friendly. I've patronized this store daily during my visit at all different times and every time the place is a dirty mess. There are napkins and discarded wrappers and containers on almost every flat surface. The food area is a mess with spilled food. The floors don't seem to get mopped as the same stains were visible day after day. This store is in a good location and has a captive audience but the management should really step up its game and present a clean and tidy store.

well, me and my friends bought some Comdoms and put them on their feet and put water in it and it didn't break! 10/10 sleepover idea for you can ur fellow adventures!

It's hit or miss at this location. Sometimes it's clean and well stocked and the staff are friendly. Sometimes it's not so clean, you can't find what you need, and the staff are inattentive or rude. It has improved a bit over the past year or two, but there is still room for improvement, particularly in the area of customer service.

I like the owners here, they're kind and respectful and hard working and they're good listeners. I'd really like to enjoy this place. My problem is that the entrance, the sidewalks and the store itself is littered with vagrants. The park across the street hosts the vagrants, and they peel off to permeate the store when they can. If you're downtown and you need something convenient AND you don't mind negotiating an obstacle course of people looking for a handout, then it's decent place to try. If consistent, persistent begging bothers you, you should go elsewhere.

Since the new management I guess this 711 carries everything I need, I stop by there frequently play my lotto, cigarettes and sometimes I read the news paper and put it back. Staff are really friendly and knows me by name, they even gives me free coffee for customer appreciation I guess.

I got a slurpee because it was so hot out and now they have faygo flavors! The cashiers were friendly and cracking jokes.
