You would assume because it’s in Niu Valley, the customer service would be excellent, NO! Cashier hasn’t greeted one customer that she helped since I’ve been in here, a lady asked her for shoyu and she just kept mumbling things under her breath. Rude and unprofessional. I bought pork hash, the wrapping is super soggy had to throw all my pork hash away. Yikes! Also tip for 7-11, you shouldn’t only reply to good reviews! Teach your staff something from the negative reviews or hire new staff! So many 7-11’s with poor customer service. Fast-paced environment is not an excuse.

snack options are great place isn’t bad overall

Google
worst 7-eleven on the entire island. workers too busy laughing in the back to serve customers. then i ask for a curry chicken manapua, lady says “huh” i repeat myself again “curry chicken” and then i go back to my car and am already driving when i see she gave me one with red meat. pick a disability are you gonna give dog customer service or give people something they didn’t order? you’re better off going to the one on wilder or basically anywhere else other than this trash can embarrassment of a convenience store.

I dunno. Just like any other 7-11. Good to go in. Grab what you need and leave.

Yelp
Do not go to this 7/11 I got charged $252.96 the correct amount was $24.14 which was also charged to my account. When I tried to contact the store no manger called me back. Waited for hours and kept trying to call back to see when a manger would be in to refund me. I love in ewa beach otherwise I would've just gone to the store repeatedly. Worst 7/11 experience I've ever had!!!!!

Yelp
Can get very chaotic with the NVMS kids (go Lancers!) from 2pm-4pm. Arrive after that and it's honestly really peaceful.

Yelp
Good 7-11 promotion & discounted food for the kiddos. They loved the slushy and the store now

Yelp
I still stop at 7-Eleven for many items, still so convenient! Since my last review there has been many changes in my lifestyle, I totally had gone Keto. Happy Friday & Happy Lunar Chinese New Year! I did not pack my salads for lunch, so this was a reason for my visit to 7-11, to see what I could get for lunch. I was happy to see the Keto Prescription salads, I remember seeing a social media post on these salads. It was of a few salads that was collaborated with Dr. Jodi Nishida's from the Keto prescription. I admit, it has been over a year now, that I have been on Keto and I really want more businesses to include more Keto products. Thank you @7-Eleven for carrying this salads. Today's lunch was the Chef salad deluxe & @ only $4.79, reasonably priced. I just added siracha sauce, to the dressing, I just needed that spice! The chef salad deluxe consist of ham, turkey, cucumber, shredded carrots, cheese, boiled egg, and tomatoes on romaine lettuce with buttermilk dressing. I normally dislike eating romaines ( since I prefer butter lettuce) when I pack my salads but I really enjoyed this chef salad. I am adding this to my list for when I don't have lunch. I will try the other Keto products, note, look for the avocado logo. Thank you 7-Eleven, please do not discontinue the Keto products, I will continue to support local and purchase more of these products, Here's to a healthy & happy year 2021!!

Yelp
Located in Niu Valley Shopping Center on Kalanianaole Hwy. As with other Hawaii 7-11 it is great for sushi and manapua, pork hash (dim sum) see photos for prices and calories (if that matters?). They also have the Hawaii staple spam musubi (see photo). They even have a mini laulau The manapua is very good, one of my favorites. You know the bun is great. This one was different because it also has a smoothie machine and shake machine. The shakes were great. They even have a small selection of wine there (see photo)

Yelp
"Pandemic 2020 finds" From small kid time a drink of choice was always Green River, that lime flavored cousin of fruit punch that contributed to the wealth of dentists in Hawaii. Green River can still be found at places in Hawaii but not as available as it used to be back in the day. I recently found out that 7-11 Hawaii has been offering a Slurpee version of Green River since earlier this year so I knew I had to try it. So after a run to Hawaii Kai Costco I stopped by the 7-11 off Kal hwy in Niu Valley. This 7-11 store is what you would expect, a homogenized chain convenient store similar to the ones you'll find all over the place. Clean, with friendly staff, this location also has access to lots of parking. This location seems to also have more Japanese type snack items and kind of reminds me of the 7-11 stores in Japan. Great grab n go foods, it is a choice for people on the run. But my mission was the Green River Slurpee, and so for a little less than $2, I decided to try the large. 7-11's version of an Icee, the same type dome cup to fill your cup with this frosty treat. Like most of this type of frosty drink the flavor is tempered and is not as sweet which for me is great. This is going to be a hit for those who want Green River in a frosty form, especially as summer marches on. Relive and enjoy a treat from the past in an updated form.

Yelp
After each school days, me and my friends visit it every weekday. Insane good tasting food for real cheap. Musubi is only $1.95! Good for spending pocket change. Service is really good as cashiers work fast. Ambience is nice. Smelling good food make it so much better. If you ever have to go to 7/11, come to this one!

Yelp
Hey man, don't be hating on Bruddah Fran as he is down wid' da Garlic Chicken Musubi from 7-Eleven!!! I don't care which 7-Eleven it is on the island............if I'm hungry and wanna quick snack, or if I'm too busy to stop for lunch, hitting up a 7-Eleven is "AUTOMATIC" for me to get da perfect quick snack! Whenever I'm in the Nui Valley area, this particular 7-Eleven store is one of my favorite joints to stop by for da Garlic Chicken Musubi! Now if you're not down for a Garlic Chicken Musubi, 7-Eleven has an array of other types of musubi's (Spam, Ahi, Tuna, California Roll, etc.) , as well as other delicious food items like - manapua, pork hash, sandwiches, drinks (beer, soda, water, slurpee, & coffee), donuts/pastries, bentos, & salads. Every time I come here, I'm pretty predictable............but hey, it works for me so why ruin a good thing? Lucky for us, there are lots of 7-Eleven stores all over the islands, so if you get a musubi itch, you can scratch 'em by hitting up one of these stores!

Yelp
This morning I went to 711 on Nuuanu & Kuakini St., I picked up a breakfast bento which was priced at $4.99 but there was a $1.00 off on it, went to the register to pay. I waited for the worker to ring me up, it rang up at $4.99 I told her it's $1.00 off she said No, I showed her the price she said it's old from yesterday, so I told her I wanted to speak to the Manager she said no more, there was another worker so the first one called her, she didn't want to come, then when she finally came they was talking in there own language. She told me No you have to pay the regular price cause that is from yesterday, so I told both of them that they are selling old food from yesterday, which is not good as it sits in the warmer. Also there was about 5 with the $1.00 off sticker, I told them they should take it off, they both said cannot because of the plastic, which to me is a poor excuse. Not good for business, also there was another customer with the same bento so I told him it's not $1.00 off he said then they should take it off, he also said should buy the fresh one. Very disappointed with how it was handled.

Yelp
(4th review of 2019) This is a convenient location close to home & on the way to work. Always find the prepared maki rolls, different hot dogs, soda, beer, & snacks. Oh! Of course you can't forget the many different kinds of Spam Musubis!!! The staff I see early in the morning are always nice & friendly. You also have the gas station (76 I think) attached to them so if you have someone pump gas, you can run in for snacks. Well, not much else to say about this place. What's inside is pretty much like any other 7-11 in Hawaii. A Hui Hou!

Yelp
Our go-to place before any plane ride, hikes, beach time! We live a mile away so it super convenient. It's in the Niu Valley shopping center with tons of parking. It's next to the large church and a gas station. It's always well stocked with musubi, (theirs is always rated one of the best), manapua, pork hash and other local treats. In the cold case you can find meals like noodles, sandwiches, bentos. And they're not the crappy food you'd find in similar stores on the mainland. No, they are quality reasonably priced tasty meals! There are also Asian crunchy snacks too. And in a pinch, there's sundries you may need. For you keto people, they offer lots of options. And we love the slurpees!!

Yelp
Convenient location inside the Niu Valley Center on the corner of Kalanianaole Hwy and E Halemaumau Street. The large parking lot here makes for an easy in and out. They also have 76 kine of Gas pumps at this location. This 7-11 is always evolving, with Great local grinds and new exclusive to Hawaii, HAWAIIAN KINE items like Taro Manju and Ube Ensaymada pastries. This 7-11 is also my favorite stop on the East side for grabbing a bag of ice. They also stock my favorite Rock Star Zero Beverages that are usually on sale 2 for $3.33 or Arizona Mango Green Tea, 23 ounce tall can for $ .99 each. The crunchy peanut butter Mochi also tempts you at the checkout counter! The afternoon Staff here is always friendly and full of the Aloha Spirit that makes you feel appreciated as a customer! Oh thank Heaven for 7-11! Mahalo for your 24/7/365 convenience and Aloha!

Yelp
Located in Nui Valley Shopping Center. Parking is easy and not cramped at all. Has 4 gas pumps. Customer service is ALWAYS GREAT. Consistent genuine service all year round. I've never had a problem here. This location is usually always stocked, Very RARELY will I ever see one thing not there. I mean that says a lot, this is my favorite location. I usually come and go for drinks or sweets. I haven't grabbed hot foods in a while. I came in today, I noticed a change in the food. If you thought the food was already great and couldn't get better, you're wrong. I am very impressed. It's either Slight changes but major difference or something completely new. Always coming up with something new and inventive. Whether it's hot foods, desserts or the new drink flavor they added. Will always be my stop before or after the beach, and a quick stop for snacks for my kids. Thank you.

Yelp
7-Eleven, according to the readers of the Star-Advertiser, has the Best SPAM musubi on all the island! I haven't eaten enough SPAM musubi to say whether I agree or not, but this 7-Eleven sells them. I go here pretty often to get Slurpees and gas because my kid goes to Niu Valley and it's right by the school. Which means on Wednesday minimum days, it's teeming with kids, so much so that the dude has to work crowd control and only let it one or two kids at a time and you have to work hard not to crush kids in the lot. So avoid it after school, because the kids are sloppy and jostling. Otherwise, clerks are medium friendly. Last time we went in, one Slurpee machine was gone! Hopefully they were just getting it repaired.

Yelp
Always nice to come home to a local 7-11 where everyone is friendly and you can get SPAM MUSUBI AND BENTO! Come on we can all make it ourselves but 7-11 Spam is so damn good.

Yelp
This 7-11 here is an essential part of my daily routine. Parking space is ample and you can grab some gas while you get a snack or vice-versa. I usually go to grab a drink, depends on how I'm feeling that day but usually the normal energy drink helps push me along. I have my go to foods that I love to grab before work. The pizza taquitos is one of the snack foods I try to grab, it's like a longer more bite sized hot pocket. The fridge usually holds a pretty good variety for on the go eats as well if you get there early enough. In the afternoon the kids from the school close by raids everything and its slim pickings and long lines. Another must have of mine is the Turkey wrap I usually grab that on the way as well.

Yelp
They have this new machine where you can get a cup and chose between coffee, shakes, lemonades and smoothies. So far i've tried the strawberry lemonade which was really good. You have the choice of blending it or not blended. Then lastly I tried the chocolate shake which was not that good but decent for the price. The only problem was that when you get it blended there are many huge ice chunks but it's a machine doing everything so not much can be changed. These drinks are very cheap and I though that this new machine is very interesting.

Yelp
I wanted to commend the two employees working at the Niu Valley 7-11 on Friday 4/9 at about 10pm. I parked next to a rented keep which was parked across two stalls. As I entered two younger tourists were buying beer. The girl behind the counter carded them and the male got very rude and upset and caused a huge scene. The two employees held their ground saying it wasn't a correct form of ID and would not sell him the liquor. Grace, one of the employees told them the policy and said if they didn't leave she would call the cops. I encouraged her to do so and hope she did. They both kept their heads even though the male was young and very disrespectful.

Yelp
if only Hawaiia if only 711 from Hawaii where everywhere the best place in the world for breakfast, coffee, and whatever you want .

Yelp
This is one of the cleanest 7-Elevens I've been too !!! The workers are all really nice and it is a quick place to fill up gas ..... we also get ice for the coolers before games, & pick up gift cards for last minute gifts. Anyway we do steer clear right before & after school hours as it gets crazy crowded !!!
google avatar

Jasmin O.

Yelp
We always go to this location to grab a F'REAL!! Haven't tried all the flavors yet, but want to! We tried the Cotton Candy and Strawberry flavors this run! We also noticed the Mt Dew slushie machine too late! Doh! Next time, I suppose! We went late at night so they did not have much of a prepared food section at this time :(
google avatar

Tia S.

Yelp
They sell flowers and leis! Totally helped considering Foodland Farms and Safeway are your only public options. This place saved me when I needed a last minute gift. The service is nice. It's not the four seasons (like some reviews seem to expect), but the staff is friendly. Bentos, sandwiches, and snacks galore. Always fresh. This location has tons of parking and a gas station, too! Yay!

Yelp
This 7-Eleven is in a really convenient location in Hawaii Kai. I've stopped by here on the way to Hanauma Bay, Koko Head, and the Kuliouou hike. I love 7-Eleven's spam musubis with egg (would've liked to try their fried rice musubi too, but didn't get a chance)...they also sell manapua, which I never got to try. Random...but I can't believe even 7-Eleven sells Hello Kitty gear. Hawaii is seriously obsessed with Hello Kitty...haha.

Yelp
Unlike the other East Oahu 7-11...this one is located right off the highway! Way more convenient and well stocked! Awesome!

Yelp
Awesome Spam musubi, good selection of coffee, always clean, and always great service. I was lucky enough to discover this 7-11 on an early morning drive to hike the Makapu'u Lighthouse. After that first time, it has become a tradition before every Makapu'u hike and for good reason. If you need gas, you can fill up for what isn't any more overpriced gas than pretty much anywhere else and you can swing in for a good selection of snacks and drinks for the typically low 7-11 prices. Personally, I go straight for the musubi. They've got a selection including Katsu, Teriyaki, and Deluxe (including egg) and I've had them all and thoroughly enjoyed every single one. They're always hot and fresh and they're about a buck fifty on average and totally worth it. Good selection of coffee, plenty of 10% Kona roast options to refill your mug. They've got a few different brands aside from 7-11 and even though I've been by during some pretty busy moments, they've been on top of refilling all the carafes. If you're looking for other drinks or snacks, this is also a good place because they're usually running specials on bottled water, juice, Gator/Power Ade, etc. I know this is typical of a 7-11, but if you're on a road trip around the Island or heading on a hike and forgot your reusable bottles at home, it's a good place to stock up and be able to count on relatively decent prices. There's also a selection of snacks imported directly from 7-11 Japan, but none of them really appealed to me. If that's what you're looking for, though, this is the place to be I guess. As for the service, it has always been really friendly and quick. They keep everything very well stocked and clean and they definitely keep the line moving. Anyways, if you're looking for a killer musubi at a low price along with a cup of coffee, you can count on this 7-11 to get you in and out and on your way 24/7, 365. Well, to be honest, I don't know if they're open 24/7, 365 days a year, but I do know they're open most of the time and can hook you up with the grinds and java needed to get you on your way up the Lighthouse.

Yelp
Watch out if you use a debit card at the Niu Valley 7-11!! I've been double charged twice and when brought to the attention of the cashiers, they said it's not possible even though it showed up on my bank app as two identical charges, one right after the other. I currently have filed a dispute with my bank ASB about it. If they do not rule in my favor, I will stop going to ALL 7-11's as I will consider them thieves. I spend between $15-$25 a morning there m-f. For them to try to screw me out of $43 is reprehensible. The part that bothers me most, is I'm a daily regular and know most of the cashiers by name, whom are very friendly and courteous. But there are a few, in management I'm guessing because they do less, who seem to be bothered by anything out of the ordinary. I don't think it's intentional, but they should care when someone brings it to their attention. Hoping for a good outcome. In the meantime, I'll only use cash there. If my dispute is not ruled in my favor, I'll be going to Aloha gas from then on.

Yelp
Poor service. When there's a line, the manager(I think) disappears to leave the front with just one register open. Lazy!!! Where's the customer service. I dunno. Maybe he had to take a crap cuz when he saw the line he dug out real quick.
google avatar

Jean P.

Yelp
Even though the strawberry slurpee wasn't working the last 2 times I was here, I like it because it is right off the highway and on my way to work. Always clean and organized and the workers are friendly. Added stars for a 76 gas station right there. Convenience is key!

Yelp
Always come here but for some reason i Went in to get a bento for breakfast got to Work after eatting half of my bento there were to big hairs in my food... Hair in goo is the worst ever.

Yelp
I wanted to give a big thanks to Dora, the woman working here! She's so nice and friendly.

Jon L.

Yelp
Got terrible food poisoning, do not eat here. Bought a garlic chicken musubi, the only thing I ate all day. My stomach felt funny about an hour or two later which resulted in terrible cramps and running to the toilet to vomit profusely and have terrible diarrhea. I KNOW it wasn't a stomach virus because of the fact that I didn't have a fever, it was almost instantly after digestion of the one thing I ate, and I felt fine shortly after voiding. I've had a stomach virus and food poisoning on many occasions and this was food poisoning. Don't eat here it might ruin your day..

Patti D.

Yelp
Great store, always clean and stocked, friendly staff. Scot, the manager is outgoing and friendly and always greets everyone with a smile. His staff is efficient. polite and helpful.
