La Luna Tea & Dessert used beauty store cocoa butter as an ingredient - Eater Vegas

"The health department shut down the snack bar at 7-Eleven at 228 Las Vegas Boulevard N. with an imminent health hazard on March 17. The convenience store had no hot water, so food handlers could not wash their hands. The hot water heater was rusty and loose screws held it together. Trash was stored on top of it. The snack bar reopened the following day with a zero-demerit A grade." - Susan Stapleton

Went in today to this location I go 3 to 4 times a week, but this time I came from my house and was dressed down. I walk in say hi to both workers and get in line. When it's my turn the worker named "Augustine" wanted to tell me the 3 dollar deal on the app is not for his store, when get this deal here all the time. It was obviously cause he doesn't know how to work the register, so the other worker came to show him. They ring it up and Augustine all of a sudden gets a severe attitude and slams my drinks in a bag and then refuses to ring up my next purchase, and walks away. I had to get the other worker again to finish checking me out. Not sure if he was having an attitude and being judgemental cause I dressed down or because I was wearing my veteran wallet, but either way his attitude and customer service skills are extremely poor. I have worked in a 711 third shift before and if I had to work with this guy I'd quit.

I stopped in around 6:40pm on Monday August 4th and was helped by the rude lady at the counter whom was more worried about theft then any customer service once so ever. Seems to be pretty fitting with the way Vegas is going. I’m sure theft is an issue, but I mean with the way she was treating people it isn’t the biggest issue at hand. Theft could be karma coming back to bite who knows. I came in simply looking to purchase a fountain drink a “big gulp” some may say, when at the counter was very condescendingly told by the lady working “How do I know you not stealing, with the small brown bag in your hand?” Which I can understand her concern as I’m sure there may be an issue but with the way they treat people & they way the establishment is ran with cups kept behind the counter until purchase, which no mention of that from the rude employee until I made it all the way too and back from the fountain and asked where the cups were at. Now perceiving this as a poorly cared for establishment as the worker can’t simply restock cups. I stand at the counter to finally purchase the drink I’d been chastised over “stealing” & I got asked if my name was Thomas which l gave her my full name so she’ll remember it & I suggest you save the hassle & not to go to this 7/11 maybe check out at any other establishment on Fremont which will have a little more class & service instead, if you need a big gulp try another 7/11 at least, and definitely try not to find out the rude ladies name behind the counter because I don’t know it and would never want to. “Maybe a way to start some change at this 7/11 would be putting the worker whom was busting their ass outside of the property, taking out the garbage and I.M.O genuinely checking on someone’s safety whom was passed out in a car in the parking lot is more fitting to be in a customer facing position such as manger or cashier than who was at the counter, and would have the rude lady take out the trash & do parking enforcement.” I also don’t look forward to seeing an automated 7/11 response about seeking more information on a bit.ly link save your breath, you should respond here on public forum & hold responsibility.

On the night of February 15th, I visited the store and had an exceptional experience. An elderly gentleman assisted me with incredible patience and utmost politeness, making my visit even more pleasant. His kindness and dedication truly stood out. Congratulations on the excellent service!

Google
so they got rid of the riff raff outside, what about the ones inside the store? having seen me regularly making high-dollar, low quantity purchases, i was treated like a criminal, asking me to wait at the counter when i requested to get hot water for my blueberry celestial tea, which i normally get, sometimes with said purchase. over this request, i replied, "for acting like you have such strict standards about this place, why does the outside look like garbage?" -then the necessary, overcompensating reaction: the employees' (tall-ish black woman) standards seeme to be consistent with the dilapidation and "early abandoned" architecture style i was referring to; and i was verbally attacked and harassed by some street person making a purchase, who claimed to be a former employee (short white woman with an outdated hair style and talks too much) ..in a medieval act of heroism, she broke the arrow off her dying horse and charged me with it, little teeth blazing and all (or what was left of them). after waiting an unusually long time for the clearly poorly skilled, employee to complete the customer's economy purchase of a single swisher sweet cigar no doubt to strip it of resources and alter its use just before her own mentality, the employee then traipsed over to the samovar, and in an arthirtic wrist move, pushed down the hot water lever and took a financial hit off her books for the eight ounces of hot water i was given and the 8.5 minutes it took her to complete (it was a 20-second task that required no skill, or professional assistance) -OH WAIT: she doesn't even own the store and gets paid hourly, so it didn't even effect her rickety scaffolding of a financial standing. she handled the whole situation so poorly, that the store would have actually made money giving me free hot water, had i done it myself, instead opting for ten times the cost because i couldn't be trusted aound empty paper cup dispensers, and 75 cents of bean water. -maybe she was protecting the free sugar packets 🤔 the entire time i was there, that street person verbally harassed me while the employee said and did nothing to discourage her, which got progressively worse and borderline violent, until i left. 〔 i won't mention the time they sent someone to check on me for stealing, with the subtlety of an andrew dice joke, while i was looking at starbucks drinks, -you know, the section where thieves don't meander aaaall the way back to? (crazy, 'cause i mentioned it, isn't it?) 〕 there are eight other 7-elevens in this neighborhood, for anyone to have to tolerate this sort of treatment. come here with no expectations, you won't be disappointed -product, service, architectural, clientele, or otherwise. i shop here much less often. -in a constipated pinch-off situation, i will.

不要在這停車,會被拖。 For the guy who help me on 28. Jan Night. I’m very thank you for your help, because there are no message on the floor so I was think the car has been stolen first. Then you help me to ask the people repair the car beside, so I can make sure my car has been towed. If you’re not here, I might call the police and go a far way. But I think maybe I won’t see you again. So just let me left me this message. And maybe next time, I will buy you a soda.

For customer service, I was gonna give it 1 star, but I can’t blame the kid for sticking to the books. I saw this 8.5x11 sign on the fridge door for 3/$8 12oz Redbulls. I got charged $13.67. I went back and they couldn’t figure out why the deal wasn’t working. And couldn’t return my money since I used ‘Tap’ and don’t have the physical card. The only solution that would be right for the extra money I spent, would be to give me a 4th Redbull, but the boy at the counter wouldn’t do it. Sure he doesn’t have the authority, but 7-11 would hold up just fine missing one Redbull, for the betterment of their customer. Fair Customer service, taking responsibility and righting their own wrongs are not values of 7-11.

Last night August 8, 2024, at or about 11 pm I entered the 7-11 and parked my car in a normal parking lot, in less than three minutes my car was gone, when I asked about my car they said that my car had been towed away. do not go to this 7-11, they are associated with a towing company to tow cars away in less than five minutes. I demanded that they return my car, but instead of helping me, they called the cops on me. that is nasty business. if anyone else has the same experience please post it here so people know that the coffee is not $ 2.00 but $502.00 because the towing company charged me $500.00

Yelp
Yikes! Someone call the health department quickly. Stopped in for bottles of water. The place is unclean. The employees are talking on phones and seem to be on vacation. Everything is dirty. Homeless are sleeping by the entrance. This is very unsafe. Don't get out your car. Keep your doors locked.

Yelp
Was having a bad day but the attendant working Josh he had the best attitude really made the night turn around. He really knows the inventory and was looking like he was having fun making fresh food! All the food was hot and made in front of your face. Cups were kept behind the counter. Nice 711 is turning into ones in asia so cool! Also love the new app!

Yelp
One of the most gross and disgusting stores I've ever seen. No cups for sodas, you need to stand in line to get them. Store was completely disgusting inside. Please drive on to another store.

Yelp
Unfortunately in one of the worst spots in town no only for less fortunate people but a few disgusting assholes but what else can you do at 730 am Breakfast the most important meal of the day ... Any ways the clerk they must have to be use to it.. Other than that an ok place .

Yelp
Came here to grab a few drinks for our room and boy was it the best decision ever! Not... It was a bit scary even for me but they associates were cool and helpful. My friend and I felt much better when two cops came in to buy a few items. Will I return to this location? Probably not but it definitely could have been worse. We ended up with a few drinks and we're ready to have an awesome time... Vegas Baby!

Yelp
I'm honestly at a loss for words after the extreme disrespect and unprofessionalism I experienced coming in to this store. The clerk is either on drugs or thinks he's on the prison yard. I'm sure others have experienced the same level of disrespect I encountered. I'm talking about the black guy who works night shift. To be completely honest I don't understand why he is so confrontational, as a fellow black man I always am respectful especially with the current events taking place in our country. I'm going to make it a point to spread the word about this clerk and this store as a whole. The clerk is a younger black guy, he had his shirt wide open, his pants almost falling down and New York tattoo on his forehead and gold teeth. I wish corporate could hear and play the tapes because the manager of this store doesn't do or say anything. I've heard other people make numerous complaints and nothing is ever done. To make a long story shirt the clerk got angry because I ended up doing 2 transactions. Once he saw I was doing a second transaction he shook his head and slammed something down on the counter as he asked what in the fuck am I doing. I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about so I asked what his problem was and he said to shutup bitch and that he was bout that life. My brother then said, we're your customers why are you speaking to us that way and he responded... Because I don't give a fuck about this job.. this is my legit job. After that he got angry and took the items my brother was trying to ring up and threw them behind the counter because he said he was done with this shit. We had nothing to say and walked out in disbelief and he walked out the store and said where are you going bitch. He threatened us numerous times and called my brother a homosexual amongst other ridiculously racist and sexist slures. Even when we walked across the street he was yelling that he has a $50,000 car and the we are gay bitches who can come and get it anytime. 711 is a great company and I've never had a problem at any other store. This honestly was a terrible and experience and an extreme inconvenience because for now I'm going to have to take a recommendation made to me by someone outside and avoid that location when that clerk is at work. This means I have to travel further for no reason but I rather know that I'm not going to be in danger or called terrible names and taunted. I hope this situation is looked into because all you have to do is review the cameras. Thank you for taking to read my review.

Yelp
Dude! This is the most ghetto 7-11 I have been into ever! I pull up to the pump and get greeted by Robert, the homeless resident who explained he is cleaning the trash for some food. He was apparently working on a tip because he asked me if I could help him get a beer to wash down the hot dog that he was going to eat after he finished sweeping the pump area. I respectfully declined and attempted to get my gas. I swiped my card, but the pump wanted me to go inside to meet the cashier. My guess is that credit card fraud is so rampant at this location, they want to meet the customers to get a few close up photos for the police lineup. If my car wasn't on "E" with 0 miles left until it's empty, I would have left. On my way to the entrance, I meet the door man, a homeless gangster who needs $.75 to fill up his gas can because his 63 Impala ran out of gas a couple blocks away. I thanked him for opening the door and apologized by saying "Sorry homey, I'm just trying to get gas myself, but it appears there is a obstacle course I need to navigate to complete my mission." Anyways, I finally reach the cashier and she looks about a thrilled as I am to be there. I'm wondering if it's even a good idea to pull my wallet out inside this place. There are at least 7 people in this small 7-11 and I don't see any of them buying anything. What they are doing is staring at me because it's obvious I'm out of place. So, I whip out my card, Authorize $70, and head to pump 4. I exit the front door and a new guy has appeared and he is holding a taser gun and showing it off to the homeless gangster and his groundskeeper buddy. He is clicking it to show how it zaps and they are all laughing. Dude, get me out of this place. I finally get to the pump, I start pumping gas and the mechanism to pump hands free is broken so now I have to hold this nasty pump and stand outside my car for $70 worth of gas. Please, head my warning. Do not, I repeat, do not go to this 7-11 unless you want to buy drugs or risk your life attempting to purchase gas.

Yelp
I am surprised there was no listing for this location. It is very close to Fremont St. Stopped in to fill up the car. The parking lot needed to be cleaned. It was difficult to see anything on the gasoline display. I had to tilt my head at a certain angle in order to read the instructions. The receipt did not print so I had to go inside. The inside of the store looked old, dirty, and not appealing at all. 7-11 corporate really should remodel and modernize the interior of the store. On a positive note, the employee who helped me was cool and friendly. Based on this one visit, just 2 stars.

Yelp
Reviewer # 11 of 7-Eleven! Ghetto as hell lol. It's in a shady location and the customer service is hard core. No hi, hello, come back again. It's give me my money and get out. I guess you have to be in a shady location like this. Avoid this location if you're looking for something warm to eat-- but in and out beverage or lottery or something and it's fine. There are slot machines in this location.

Yelp
This location should be called 3.5 / 5.5 since they've only got like half of what they're supposed to. No pizza. No pico de gallo or salsa for nachos. They don't sell ANY beer singles, just overpriced six and twelve packs. Has gas pumps I have never once seen anyone using, I guess Cindy H review below makes clear why (they don't work). Inside is maintained OK given the sketch area but outside there is ALWAYS some homebum posted up spanging by the stairs. Only thing its good for is cheap coffee/donut/muffin in the morning if you're staying at a downtown hotel (particularly convenient to the El Cortez) or cheap soda / Slushee in the summer heat. Otherwise it's a low energy 7-11. The one just a little up Las Vegas Blvd. at Bonanza is a little better.

Yelp
This is a sketchy and scary 7-11. Lots of homeless, maybe drunk people walking around the gas station pumping area. The employees didn't do anything to fend them off or ask them to move along. They went through the trash and approached the vehicle making faces at as while we pumped. Pretty uncomfortable feeling. I'd find another gas station.

Sammy W.

Yelp
Just stopped by here to grab water and just like the other said.. shitty. I paid by cash and she just handed over 5 cent less... Seemed like no one cares what they serve and how their conditions are. I would never visit any other convenient store in Vegas include here.

Yelp
20 years ago, I went to a 7-11 on Las Vegas Boulevard. I picked up a box of pop-tarts walked down the aisle, came around and put them back on the shelf. On my way out the door they grabbed and detained me, called everyone in the phone book with my last name to tell them I was a failed shop lifter, then had the police come down to officially 86 me from the property, all while making me 3 hours late for class. Anyways, here I am on yelp serving up my one star revenge. Suck it 7-11.

Yelp
Horrible! We come from Chicago and stopped here and the mana the front desk was so rude. Everyone here is rude & this man just further proved how rude and ignorant Las Vegas was! Don't go to this place

Jasmine P.

Yelp
Rachel at the Tropicana and mountain vista location was extremely friendly and kind as my boyfriend and I came in to get our daily Red Bulls she was the perfect example of a 7-Eleven employee who loves her job
google avatar

Yelp
Walking from Pizza Rock to Container Park, 7-Eleven is a perfect place to get your 99 cent Big Gulp. I can't imagine what a 32 ounce soda would cost on Fremont. Glad there's a 7-Eleven here for just this reason!
google avatar

Cindy H.

Yelp
Only the mid grade 89 works, but there are no signs posted. The workers are also very rude when you ask them about it. Don't come here unless you don't mind mid grade and want to be yelled at.

Yelp
This is purely dedicated to Sterling. My husband and I came in and he showed us exactly what were the good deals for us, in what we were looking for. He was very sweet and gave me napkins for my nachos and offered an extra bag for it to take back to our hotel room. Thank you Sterling. What a great way to end our night with your great customer service. We loved your smile! :)

Yelp
Came to get gas. At 2.59 when other gas stations are at 1.99 and under. The main sign does not post the gas prices so you pretty much have to go to the pump in which you still can't read. So I just said I'll get gas here. After filling up and getting a receipt inside I notice the price for fuel it 2.59. I ask the guy inside why was gas more here and he said downtown. I said so is that why you don't display on the Main Street sign. The guy said owner doesn't want too. I ask for the owner number and the employee gave it to me. I called 5 times to the owner and finally after the 6th time the owner called and said he can do what ever he wants. He can steal money without getting caught. I am contacting Better Business Bureau now. First of all you don't do this and second it's illegal. Also I notice they had a car wash here at some point but looks like they decide to remove it and put the old shell sign with the prices of the gas inside the empty space. I would had just used the old sign and cover up anything that has todo with shell. If I could I would give this place no stars. DO NOT GIVE THIS 7ELEVEN ANY BUSINESS.

Yelp
Absolute worst customer service I have had in a very long time. they couldn't even scan my phone without giving me a refund for their buy get one free promotion. I first asked how to use the app and I was told I had to download it. I had already done that then guy walked away when he came back he told me he had two give me a refund for which I did not have time. Their coffee was awful. I won't be drinking it again. Additionally there were a lot of vagrants hanging around outside. All asking for money.
