7 Leaves Cafe Alhambra

This 7 Leaves location is my favorite since it has a drive thru. However, it’s a bit small and sometimes the line could go out to the street depending on when you use it. I went around 5:30 pm on a weekday and that was the case. After waiting about 10 minutes, I was able to order and it was ready within a few minutes. There was a seasonal drink, so I thought I gave it a try. I tried the Rio Rosa, which was strawberry with condensed milk. I got this with honey boba as well. It tasted refreshing since it was hot that day. But overall, I thought it was just okay. I wouldn’t get that specific drink again. This location does accept American Express.

The drinks here are premade, so you can’t adjust anything, which is a big downside. The flavors are pretty mediocre compared to other spots nearby. That said, the space itself is nice for hanging out with friends, but if you’re looking for really good drinks, there are definitely better options elsewhere.

The boba is great, but sometimes the service is atrocious. Having to wait over 5-6 minutes for a drink that is sitting on the counter is asinine. Stop socializing and serve your customers.

Came for the first time and I was greeted by hasted staff (they seemed rushed with backed up drive thru) and drink was ready in a few minutes. I ordered strawberry hibiscus which was good overall, not too sweet. Ambiance was okay for casual tea/Boba spot. Seemed there is unfinished work to do on the interior but spacious and clean. Wifi password didn't work (even all lower case as mentioned). Parking was plentiful in the back.

the drinks were super watered down and staff was so rude.. I asked for the bathroom code politely and got ignored and then when she finally answered she had a horrible attitude + looked me up and down.. half the time I was here this girl was jst chatting w her coworker and my drink took 20 minutes to make

7 leaves is a great spot off Main St, in Alhambra. They offer good variety of drinks from tea to coffee. The signature drink is the house especial coffee, it is really good it had the bitterness of coffee topped with cream and sea salt. The salty flavor makes a great combination with the coffee. I haven’t try the teas yet , but I will definitely try then next time. The staff is really friendly and the place is immaculate clean and neat. They even have a rewards program. All in all, I will be back.

This place is AMAZING! I came here to get an iced coffee before leaving the state and I'm so glad I came here instead of Starbucks. The staff is so sweet and patient and the drinks are phenomenal. Hands down, the House Special Iced Coffee is the best I've ever had. It's a perfect match for those that like creamer in their coffee, but not too much! It has a clean presentation and the cups dont sweat too much with cold drinks. The coffee is strong but the creamer balances it out very well. I got a large in that and we ordered a thai tea with no boba. Still, the thai tea wasn't too sweet as other places and was delightful as well. I will be coming back here!!

My wife wanted me to stop by here after we left our hotel since we were in the area. This place has a very small parking lot and narrow drive thru lane so be aware. When we came here, I tried to park at the dentist office basically right next to 7 leaves after 6pm but someone was there to say I couldn't park there. So I went to the drive thru instead. It took a while to get our order because we think someone made a big order. My wife likes their Thai Tea with 50% sweetener

While this is a 7 Leaves drive through, they also have ample parking in the back which I appreciate! Came around 2PM on a Tuesday and there was only 1 other person in line. I loved that they had little sample cups as it just so happened to be the drink I was curious about (jasmine milk tea). I wanted to redeem some rewards points (leaves), so the worker kindly noted that I'd need to redeem in app but that she'd keep an eye out for my name. I quickly placed my order and it was ready in about 5 minutes. I'd definitely come back to this location to study or grab boba with friends as there's plenty of seating, the music is a nice volume, and there's a restroom for customers.

First time trying out 7 Leaves at this location and already loved the fact they had a drive-thru! I ordered a mung bean milk tea with boba and pudding and placed my order on their mobile app. I went to pick it up at the drive-thru and quickly got my drink. I also want to give a shoutout to their customer service. The employee at the drive-thru was super bubbly and friendly! Regarding my drink, I thought it was delicious! Definitely could taste the mung bean and pandan. However, I thought it was a tad too sweet, so I would get less sweetness next time. The toppings were excellent: the boba was well-cooked and slighty sweet while the custard was silky smooth! Overall, great experience at 7 Leaves and would definitely visit again!

Classic solid boba pit stop WITH drive thru! Easy, convenient, go-to that's always pretty quick service. Boba's some of the best quick and cheaper options. They do their tea very well, and the flavor always comes out. Great seating space and convenient corner location to drop by to.

We came here to this location for the first time. We tried one once before and we enjoyed it and we were in the area and came to try this one. This location has a drive through, but we went inside. It was clean and decorated nicely and they handed us samples to try. I ordered the house coffee with extra espresso shots. My wife ordered like a chai type of tea where she asked for 50% sweet and still ended up pretty sweet. Staff were friendly. We'd come back again.

Their drinks are better than Starbucks. I usually get house coffee or the matcha. This is in the rotation.

My go to spot for a sweet drink or boba. I always come here for either their mung bean milk tea, oolong milk tea, or green thai tea. The best drinks here!

I clearly asked for easy ice and as you can see, it's basically filled over half way. Better off ordering a regular at this point. The Alhambra location is never consistent. I rather go the extra mile to the El Monte location.

This location has a drive thru! They were busy both inside and the drive thru. I got my usual mung bean milk tea with less ice. Only downside was that I got more ice than usual? At least the drink was still good. Glad 7 leaves taste is consistent throughout their locations.

House coffee is my go to. I've been to this location before and used the convenient drive thru. I had more time this visit so I opted to pick it up inside. I placed an order ahead of time on the app. You get points and you can redeem them for free drinks once you have enough points. Ambiance was nice. Store was clean and organized. My drink was delish as usual.

Ordered this thru Grub Hub because I had some credits to use. It said the expected wait time would be 20-30 minute, but to our surprise, we got our order in 10 minutes via the drive through! I got the hot mung bean milk tea, easy sweet, which always hits the spot. There's even a bit of mung bean pulp at the end, which I like. This is my first time trying it hot. It's tasty hot or cold! If it had more pandan taste, this would be even more addicting.

Literally love seven leaves so much the tea always taste super yummy. I haven't had a drink that I don't like I come here often. I love that. It opens early and close later in the day I love the app and that you can order ahead and customize I also really like that they have The option to order large amounts for potluck or parties. My only complaint would be that I wish some other drinks were less sweet because even easy sweet feels very sweet but customer service is great and it tastes really yummy every time so I appreciate the consistency. Favorite drinks: green thai tea, jasmine milk tea, and oolong milk tea YUM

Went to the drive thru today, and geez is this place going bad with service. Young Hispanic girl was rude! Managers please train your staff or hire someone who wants to be there.

I Thai Tea over coffee for my caffeine fix. The other day I had some sub-par Thai Tea so I had to rectify that experience and go get my fix from a sure hit. Once I'm on these Thai Tea kicks, it becomes a daily need. So, with this economy, it made more sense to get the half gallon for $21. 7 Leaves always provides me with the perfectly flavored Thai Tea; the sweetness level is always on point. I cannot express how excited I am for my half gallon lol. This will take me through a few days and make me a very happy girl. The drive-thru is always a quick experience for me. I have never walked in but there is a small parking lot if you want to walk in. Service is always friendly and make sure you get the app so you can earn points for your addiction.

I've always been a fan of 7 Leaves and the Alhambra location is close enough for me to stop by whenever I'm craving for certain drinks. One of my favorite drinks is the Tea-Rex with is one of the not-so-secret drinks. It's the mung bean drink with matcha powder, I usually order it with the crystal boba and it's perfect! It's been my go-to drink at 7 Leaves for a while or the Assam milk tea. I like their other drinks too so you can't go wrong trying their popular drinks like mung bean and taro milk teas or the house coffee. Happy I stopped by for my favorite 7 Leaves drink!

Drinks are a bit sweet and staff are a bit difficult to interact with. Only reason I come is because I work nearby. I came in for macarons and since the online order only had chocolate flavor in stock, I ordered 2 chocolate on the app and asked them directly if I could get one salted caramel and one rose. What followed was the most frustrating interaction I've had here. The girl tried to charge me for two additional macarons, then gave me one rose and one chocolate, so I explained I wanted salted caramel instead and she tried giving me salted caramel and rose. I ended up giving up and just getting two rose. The girls are always a bit chatty so when I come in person, I always need to wake ~3-5 min for them to help me, even when I'm the only one in line. TLDR - drinks that are too sweet and mediocre service

They have a drive-thru and parking which is always convenient. It's been a while since I have gone to 7 Leaves. The menu is fairly small and they have macarons. I had the Jasmine milk tea and I liked it a lot. They have their own recipe to it and I like it.

Highly recommend this place for a sweet treat! The selection is great, everything sounded so yummy it was difficult to choose and made me want to return to try more items. Service was quick and friendly, and packaging was secure. Open up in New York!

First time at this location. I really love 7 leaves, all their drinks are good. Service is always great and fast. The ambience in here is very nice and chill, from people working to friends just catching up. I got the Taro Milk Tea with boba and my friend got the Thai Tea with boba. We both loved our drinks. I wish it was closer to my hometown because I'd be there way more often.

They gave the wrong straw and we asked for the correct one and the girl gave so much attitude asking "yes?" And gave us side eyes. This is not a first time we've encountered unfriendly staff here.

I placed two orders through the mobile app around 10 AM, scheduled for pickup at 12:30 PM the same day. My colleagues arrived at 12:28 PM to pick them up, but the staff claimed they couldn't find any orders at all--even after I provided my name and two screenshots with order numbers. Both orders were paid for and processed successfully, yet they still said they didn't have them. The excuse? Their system was down and didn't print any order receipts. That is completely unacceptable for a business relying on mobile app orders. I also specifically requested a bag of side ice because I ordered 12 drinks and had a long drive ahead. The girl at the counter said they could only provide one cup of ice--which has NEVER been an issue at any other 7 Leaves location I've been to. Only this location. To make it worse, they didn't even start making the drinks until my colleagues showed up, so they had to wait during their short one-hour lunch break, leaving them with no time to eat. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I will never come back to this location and won't recommend it to anyone. Total waste of time and money.

7 LEAVES HAS ME IN A CHOKEHOLD! The iced house coffee hits EVERY SINGLE TIME! I get mine easy ice because this location puts WAY too much ice.

One of my favorite bubble tea chains. This place is pretty unique because it has a drive-thru alongside the indoor Cafe. They also have a few coffee drinks in addition to their teas. So this is a perfect spot for a quick grab and go drink in the mornings or on the way to work. Service has always been quick and polite and the interior is also pretty nice if you want to sit down and catch up with friends. It's right next to the theater and a few other businesses right on main Street so it has a pretty central location. My favorite drink is something you don't find at any other bubble tea spots which is the mung bean tea

First timer at 7 leaves cafe. Excellent customer service. Drive thru friendly. In and out within 10 minutes, no complaints. I informed the host on the speaker that it my first visit and asked for recommendations between the jasmine milk tea vs the mung bean. She expressed that the jasmine milk tea was the most popular and I decided to try it. It was so sweet, milky, with a jasmine tea after taste. Delicious. I'm torn if I even want less sugar on my next visit. Yes, there will be a next visit! I highly recommend the Jasmine milk tea. It was refreshing, jasmine tea fragrant, and gone in 60 seconds. Joke! But I do tend to finish drinks quick.

This Cafe is definitely worth it! The tea was delicious and I loved it! The Service is so helpful! I will definitely be visiting soon!

I've been to this location a few times now, but I last visited on 2/26 during my lunch break. I ordered 3 drinks through the mobile app since I was redeeming my free bday drink for Feb: - Sea Cream Jasmine Tea Upsize ($6.30 or 75 leaves) ++ Jasmine tea is blended with jasmine petals. Topped with a frothy foam of our signature whipped sea cream, made daily, their sea cream jasmine is a light and refreshing twist to green tea. -This drink is one of my faves at 7leaves. I asked for less sea cream since sometimes, they can go a little too cray on the cream, and it was the perfect amount! This drink was made perfectly and I could not complain - love the sea cream mixed with the fragrant jasmine tea. - Mint Sereno ($5.75 or 70 leaves) ++ The mint sereno blend is made from fresh mint, real cream and brown sugar - served iced only in a 12oz cup. This drink reminds me of Philz Coffee - so if you enjoy the Mint Mojito at Philz Coffee, you will most likely enjoy this. Both drinks are priced pretty similarly. The mint isn't over-powering and the coffee does not taste too strong. -House Coffee Upsize ($6.30 or 75 leaves) ++Authentic Vietnamese Style Creamy Iced Coffee ++ SooOo strong and so good. This drink is on the sweeter side. I ended up saving it to drink for the next day and it was still good as new. I placed my order in the drive-thru on a Friday around 8 AM. There wasn't a lot of cars in line and I got my order within 3 minutes. I got the large Vietnamese coffee. It was strong and not too sweet. Definitely recommend if you need a quick coffee on the go!

I ordered from the mobile app for delivery and paid 6.99 for delivery. When I received the items 45mins later. Only half of the order was given to me. I called the store and they said they forgot to give the other half of the order to the drive and I would have to drive to pick it up. After driving and picking up the order. My drinks was melted my tea was cold. No apologies was given. Terrible service. No refund for failed delivery..

Wait time did take longer than expected, amazing drinks, amazing service very patient. Very aesthetic and nicely decorated.

I really enjoy coming here when I am in the mood for some late night boba! My go to drink is an oolong milk tea. I love how concentrated their tea drinks are. I've also tried their coffee drinks, and they're more on the sweeter side (reminds me of Vietnamese iced coffee). I've enjoyed all of the drinks I have tried :) This location has a spacious parking area and a drive thru! The drive thru is so convenient when it's cold outside or you do not want to get out of the car. The service is very quick and the staff is friendly. I suggest trying this boba spot out!

I ordered a mung bean milk tea today w/ less sugar but it was still so sweet. I let other people try as well & they agreed it didn't taste like they added less sugar... I liked the mung bean flavor profile & reminded me of Viet desserts, but it was more gritty the mung bean wasn't smooth blended. Nice ambiance and there is seating if you wanted to peacefully work or study there. Has a drive-thru as well! Quick service, order came out in 3 minutes, but sadly the drink was lacking for me.

Updating from my experience today: ordered my usual--House Coffee. It had half the regular cream on top. Disappointed.

Love love love 7 leaves herbal tea! I feel refreshed every time I drink their herbal tea and it's been my to go drink for several years now lol! They had a rush when I came in to order so my interaction with the staff was very brief but quick service it didn't take long for my order to be ready. Would come back any day :) !

The drinks here are actually pretty good--definitely better than a lot of other boba places I've tried. But I think the owners need to be a little more thoughtful when it comes to planning promotions. They had a BOGO Thai milk tea deal to celebrate Thai New Year, which sounded like a nice idea. But when I got there, they were already out of Thai milk tea--over six hours before closing. That kind of thing just makes the whole promo feel poorly planned. If you're going to run a deal like that, you should at least be stocked up enough to last through most of the day. I'm sure they're still turning a profit even with the BOGO, so if the point of the promotion is to thank customers or bring more people in, it kind of defeats the purpose when people show up and get turned away. Even just offering a substitute drink would've been a better experience for everyone who made the effort to come by. As a business owner myself, I know things don't always go perfectly--but this felt like something that could've been avoided with better prep.

On a recent grocery trip, a bunch of friends and I ended up in downtown Alhambra looking to get some boba. We were kind of lazy and we didn't want to search up where to go, so we ended up at 7 Leaves due to its reputation for consistency and drive through! I got the mung bean milk tea with boba on easy sweetness. I love mung bean -- despite disliking most of the other beans, it holds a special place in my heart. This drink did a good job capturing the mung bean taste and sandiness, although easy sweetness is still very, very sweet. It was a little too much sweetness for my liking, but I enjoyed the uniqueness of the mung bean drink. It was also really heavy on the milk, which my stomach was not a fan of, but mung bean and milk lovers would likely enjoy the drink a lot! Boba quality was pretty solid, and I liked how chewy the pearls were. If I end up here again, I'd really want to try out some of their real teas like jasmine!

This review is for the unrealistic Promo vouchers or any promo they "have currently". This is the third time that I come (including the new years one because their promo was appealing (namely buy 5 get 1 drink voucher) type of offer. Every time I try to obtain one they "ran out". I also don't know anyone who likes it here and has ever gotten it. So I can confidently say it is a deceiving marketing strategy. I used to like the mung bean drink so I was willing to drive here and get the promo. Especially with all the competition out there, I would think they would try harder to appease the consumers. Promo is a scam unfortunately. They also will say another store may have them but it is just a cheap dismissal of your request. Also workers don't get paid enough to care or are not well trained when it comes to customer service. This visit I realized their quality has gone down. The mung bean drink was watered down and less grainy as well as the Vietnamese coffee (easy ice must mean add water) Their prices haven't gone much yet so I'm guessing they're cutting corners by any means possible. I've moved on to The Tea which is on Atlantic Ave which is more expensive but better quality.

I like their Assam Milk tea with boba. Their boba is chewy and you can adjust the sweetness. I've adjusted to 50% sweetness and it fits my taste. Service is great and fast. Place is clean and well maintained. Shall be back again. Highly recommend trying!

Was craving green thai tea, which is difficult to find. I've had it a several places and theirs is one of the better ones. Strong green thai tea flavor but just enough sweetness. The issue is the wait. It's a small location and they have such a long line for the drive through. The inside has weird seating that's extremely uncomfortable. Also in need of cleaning. But otherwise it's worthwhile

The customer service at this 7 leaves is great :) the cashier who took my order, I wish I knew her name, but she was an Asian girl who wore glasses, was attentive and even offered to sample the drinks ! The matcha soy I got was amazing too. This particular 7 leaves location has never been disappointing.

Great teas and coffees. Their boba is some of the freshest and best you can find in the area, which is pretty high praise considering there's plenty of tea and boba shops around.

One of my go to Sunday Boba shops. 7 leaves has a lot of solid drinks including the sea cream jasmine, Vietnamese (double shot) and house coffee (single shot) along with all their fruit teas. I'm not the biggest fan of the jasmine milk tea possibly because of the sweetener or "milk" that they use. They have a secret menu, but you can basically custom mix their drinks. I got a half house coffee half Matcha soy as recommended by the worker and it was delicious! I always go for 75% sweet and light ice if I can. Small parking lot in the back and side but easy to walk from main street downtown Alhambra and the Edwards theater *Bring your badge or a picture of it on your phone if you are a healthcare worker for 15% off!

The avomango smoothie is amazingly delicious. The employees are shy but very kind. The seating is nice both inside and out. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. I don't drink caffeine so it's nice having that accommodating menu and the price is fair for the size.

I was OK with the excessive ice. But now they don't even fill up your cups to the top. I'm basically paying for ice and air.

Superb and consistent drinks!! I'm guilty of forgetting about 7 Leaves with all the new and hyped cafes, but this is one of the most solid drink spots that do BOTH coffee and teas well. I love any of the coffee drinks with their Viet coffee. I like to get the Black and Tan both hot or cold. It's a House Coffee with Jasmine Milk Tea. I also love the Mung Bean drink and like to get the House Coffee and sub the hazelnut creamer for mung bean. They are so sweet and encouraging and helpful with the custom mods. Love that this location has a drive through!

My family loves 7 leaves, I prefer other boba places but it's good. I think because I like decaf or non caffeine so my options are limited to two or three drinks. I usually get the pandan milk tea and it's like a Vietnamese dessert in a cup! Love that the service is always friendly at this location. We go through drive through so we haven't been in store.

My favorite tea/coffee spot. The drinks are absolutely amazing and the staff is always friendly/ attentive. While they were remodeling, the drive thru was closed a couple go times. However, they had an employee outside handing out coupons for free drinks. It was a nice gesture.

The drive thru here is the best!! Every time I come, the drive thru is fast and quick!! I always get the jasmine milk tea, which already comes with a nondairy substitute so it's perfect for lactose intolerant people (: The drinks are perfect and not too sweet, the boba is always fresh too! The perfect place to come if you want a quick drive thru boba drink!
