I keep track of all my reviews, don't bother trying to delete it. Interior: nicely decorated, fairly minimalistic, modern yet slightly rustic, seats are solid wood. Plenty of seats and tables. Amenities: okay air-conditioning, wifi available, I didn't see any outlets(!!!!!!!). Bench seating available. Drink(s): the assam milk tea is delicious, but they gave me a criminal amount of ice in my large drink!!! Overall: They charge you a premium for the aesthetics of the place by giving you an absurd quantity of ice and zero outlets. I'm sorry but no matter how many cute females you hire for your 100% female staff, bad product AND no outlets get a thumbs down from me. Oh yeah, dead roaches and 1 twitching roach lol. On the bright side, since they're dead/dying, at least it means they're working on it?

This morning I come to the seven leaf to get my half a gallon of coffee to treat my coworker. This location deny me my healthcare worker and it takes them 30 minute to get me half a gallon. I almost late to work. Come to other 7 leaves or Starbucks across the street they will happily accept your coupon or discount if you have any

Really strong and delicious house coffee. Matcha is also good but a little sweet for my taste.

First time coming to this Cafe. I only found it because I really needed to use the bathroom. I asked the cashier if I can use the bathroom she said “The bathroom is only for customers”. I completely understand and I told her I would love to be a customer, but first can I use your bathroom. She proceeded to tell me you need to make a purchase first. At this point I almost peed myself so I ran to food for less to use their bathroom, they had no problem btw” I ended up coming back because I was truly hungry. I ordered a ham & cheese croissant. I have to say very disappointed with the quality of food. I paid a total of $3.58 for a very small croissant. The croissant tasted greasy and soggy. Stick to a mom and pop cafe this store in my opinion gets a 1 start.

Avoid this place. Rip off I feel scammed i started to come here often since I moved to El Monte but will be avoiding this place from now on . I purchased large house coffee with easy ice since I have noticed they add too much ice previous time I’ve ben here . And guy in drive thru window started acting rude and slammed window and didn’t follow instructions and added extra extra ice I will add picture. I feel scammed and robbed for my money I will proceed to Seek legal help. I finished my drink with only 3 sips since most of it was ice.

Drive thru...blessing. Props to the person who thought about the design replacement of this location it is a drive-through next to a grocery store. What person hasn't woken up early to go groceries and realized OmG I need my coffee and this place is right here! Drivethru was fast and friendly.... I tried the mint Serrano and If you are not a fan of mint don't try it if you are this is delicious and I wish I wouldn't back to get a second one after I was done. It was a perfect combo of sweet savory and foam. As variant plays later when it melted and I actually could have more. Love the freshness of the mint and as I opened it I saw the fresh mint! I will come back again for a revisit

I love this 7Leaves location - good, quick service from kind people. Only reason for the lower rating is no bathroom if you want to stay in the cafe and study or work for a while. Hard to keep drinking 7Leaves when there is no bathroom there lol.

Super impressed with this location! They have a drive through and plenty of indoor seating. The inside is roomy and looks like a great place to do some work! We ordered 7 drinks and they were out in less than ten minutes. No mistakes, and drinks still had the same great taste. Employees were all super friendly as well. I would definitely come back to this location!!

I placed an order over 7Leaves app, and I was waiting for the driver. My beverages was not delivered. I wish 7 Leaves has a report a delivery problem or issue in their app. I was waiting for my order and it didn't come. And the driver "Canceled" my order last minute. I called the store and they can't see it in their system if it was canceled. I cannot even report it over their app to get a refund. So I have to call the store and hopefully they will follow up on my issue and get my refund. This is not the first time an uber driver took my order. (Chino Hills location) And 7Leaves didn't give me back my money. My suggestion is to have your app an ability to keep track of potential issue by your third party vendor. So the company can follow up with customers issue.

I had to charge my brother's electric car at the EVgo station in the same plaza, and it was getting warm, so I had to get a drink. There was a Starbucks across the street, but I didn't want to cross the street and keep it low-key, and then I found 7 Leaves! To be honest, I haven't been to one in ages. Though there is one in Alhambra, I have so many options that I tend to forget. I got myself a Mung Bean Milk Tea (what they are known for) and Assam milk tea on my second visit. They were both pretty decent and refreshing. It was great enough to keep me cool while I had to wait for the car to charge. It is very spacious inside with lots of tables, and it was empty; perhaps it was too early (before 11 AM). But the drive-thru was popping! Friendly and quick service, air conditioning, and good drinks made my hour of charging worthwhile.

7 Leaves Cafe, located in El Monte, has a drive-thru, so you can order drinks quickly and enjoy them on the road, which I did! I ordered the water-based Japanese Matcha drink with no add-ons. You can pick from honey boba, crystal boba, and a couple of other items. It does come already sweetened, so that is why I didn't do any of the add-ons. Their drink menu is pretty easy to read and look at. They have photos of each drink during the drive-through. Service was standard, it does take a little while to get our drinks, but it was nice and cold!

We came here after running some errands and it was nice to go through the drive-thru. We ordered a large thai tea and Jasmine milk tea. They were delicious and it was a great way to end the day. It was friendly service and they were very attentive. The ambiance was also laid back and cool to hang out for a bit. I definitely want to come back and try other drinks.

I'm a 7 Leaves Stan through and through. My first time at this location and I got my usual mung bean milk tea, but this time I got it with soy milk instead of the usual creamer it comes with and it was delicious. Shoutout to the gals that were working here when my friend and I came by. Sorry I didn't catch their names.

Tea is good as usual off this franchise. Not mind blowing but good enough for what you're looking for. Service is efficient. Good big table to work, read, or gather. But the croissants are way too small.

Sea Cream Jasmine Tea is my go-to drink at 7Leaves and it is consistently good everytime I order it. It's not too sweet but the tea is not overpowering as well. I've tried their Thai tea & house coffee and both drinks are also good.

Friendly servers. Drinks are good, same as all other 7leaves. I enjoy the seating inside. Lots of tables and ~ 4 outlets for charging. Plenty of parking available. The only down side is that wifi is VERY SLOW. You'll need to rely on your hotspot. Everytime I've studied here it's been pretty empty. Also no bathroom available, making it another place not the best for long-term studying.

I tried the mung bean milk tea and the hibiscus strawberry tea. Vicky was very nice and service was excellent! There's plenty of parking, lots of seating inside, and free Wi-Fi available.

Love this location for its drive through but also spacious inside. If you're in a hurry, drive through is quick. If you're looking to relax, there are plenty of tables inside. There's not a single drink on the menu I haven't tried with this place. They have unique drinks and the menu is small, so they've really mastered each recipe. Mung bean milk tea is usually my go to, but I went for the oolong milk tea this time because I was craving something sweeter. They had a new seasonal drink called Orange Dream, so my fiancé ordered this. Orange Dream was very fruity and refreshing, but is a bit tart for me. But the fiancé loved it. It's a perfect drink for a summer day.

Plenty of parking at this location and they have a drive thru as well. Inside was spacious with lots of seating. I only saw 3-4 outlets. We came here to study but the WiFi was soo slow. We ended up leaving. Order: Love Cream (10/10): Jasmine milk tea with caramel. This is one of my favorite order from the secret menu! It sounds super sweet but it's a perfect sweetness. I always finish it in 5 min . This location defintely puts more caramel cause I couldn't mix the caramel but I still enjoyed it. The workers here are friendly.

The worker at the window was such a vibe. It was a quick interaction but I appreciated the kind words. Good job 7 leaves for having compassionate and caring people on your team. Switching over from starbies to 7 leaves has been great, idk if it's the location or what but everytime I go the staff is friendly and the drinks taste amazing. Your baristas and staff deserve all the stars fr.

3.5 stars Customer Service: 4 stars Price: 3 stars Taste: 3 stars Mung Bean Milk Tea $5.45 No Ice Upsize (+$0.85) This 7 Leaves Cafe location is located at the corner of Garvey Ave and Valley Blvd, in the Food 4 Less shopping center. Every time I have passed by, the drink-thru has always been busy. I have passed by this 7 Leaves Cafe countless times but never got the chance to try it out until yesterday. Normally I do not upsize any drink, but I figured for the cost, it would be worth it since I was sharing the drink. I have not been to a 7 Leaves Cafe in years, and have only tried it once prior. Though, I do not recall the Mung Bean Milk Tea being this "watered" down and barely any Mung Bean in the drink. It felt like a pre-diabetic drink with all the sugar and water. Yes, I am a coffee over milk tea drinker especially with the cost between the two. The customer service is great. I was greeted immediately once I drove up to the intercom. The worker was efficient and answered any questions I had. They are very efficient here, even with 2 cars ahead of me, I was able to get my drink quickly and was soon on my way. I am used to the plastic sealed lid, but it was very thoughtful for another plastic lid to be included on top of the plastic sealed lid, so it would not "tear" through with the straw, especially I was driving. The flavors were good, but again, I felt that the drink was way watered down and mostly full of sugar. For an almost $7 drink, I would rather order coffee and only plan on ordering once in a blue moon. Service was great and I have no qualms with customer service here, which was a pleasant experience since customer service is lacking in a lot of areas these days.

I had a birthday reward to claim and I opted to order a drink on the app for pick up; the drink was meant for the next day since I was driving by after work and I wanted the black and tan (coffee and tea with milk) so I ordered no ice but with two toppings. When I showed up, the person behind the counter greeted me and asked what they could get for me. I told them I had a mobile order and gave them my name. They came back maybe 3-5 mins later and told me because I had two toppings and no ice, they were worried that it might not taste as good. I told them that it's ok, and I appreciate them giving me a heads up because most people wouldn't even give it a second thought about a customers experience after the transaction. I really didn't mind that I basically was messing up my own drink hahaha and I told them that I didn't want them to waste another cup or more stuff. To my surprise, they insisted on remaking the drink for me and I was really impressed by their customer service. The remake was DELICIOUS and was perfectly balanced despite me asking for no ice. HUGE KUDOS TO CARLOS! Employees and customer service like his is what make customers return and I'll definitely be back more often! Anyway, this location has a drive thru and shares a lot with a handful of businesses. There are 4 outlets with 2 plugs each, so good enough of electrical plugs if you're looking for a study/work spot! The space itself has pano windows and is quite spacious inside! But yeah, the drink was great! I doomed my drink to begin with because I should know boba isn't good overnight hahah. Oooops! I brought great dishonor to my family and cows by trying to drink day old boba lol.

so i guess we get punished for being a loyal customer huh? I acquired enough points to get a free drink and i ordered another one for my fiancee. The free drink comes in a small "upsize" cup now? since when? Everytime i've ordered a free drink in the past, the "upsize" was always the larger cup. As you can see on the sticker, they both say "up", which means upsize. therefore the cup size should be the same on both drinks but the one that i claimed for free with the points was the oolong milk tea and it came in a small cup. The other drink i paid for was the standard house coffee and it was in the typical upsize cup size. wtf. I guess no more 7 leaves for me if that's how you treat your customers.

I'm a big fan of 7 leaves and it's one of my fav to go drink places. What's great about 7 leaves is not only the drinks but also the convenience of a drive thru. My favorite drink is the mung milk tea because it tastes like a Vietnamese dessert in a drink. It's my go to drink that I always order and can't go wrong with. The house coffee and Vietnamese coffee are a good choice too if you want a boost of caffeine and the drinks are definitely strong. The place is pretty clean and I would see people with their laptops studying. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Remember to download their app so you can start their reward program.

As a regular customer, I really hate this practice and I'm disappointed to see 7 leaves doing this. Just like Starbucks, they fill up the cup with 90% ice so the actual drink is nothing. I come here regularly and have never experienced this and never had to tell them "easy ice" cuz I was never worried about this but unfortunately today, I ordered a Vietnamese coffe and after a few sips, it was gone. Bad business practice!

Ive gone there various times to get a house coffee. Usually order a large and always specify to please do very easy ice and they never listen. I leave and finish my drink after a few sips to find out i got half a cup of ice again. If you need to charge more do so but listen when asked for easy ice.

lov drive thru boba shops! really easy and quick stop for your sweet treat/ boba cravings !! i usually order the love cream, mung bean, assam milk tea, or anything on the secret menu. never disappointsss except when you wait too long and the ice melts. boba is pretty okay and chewy. all in all, great milk tea or juice for affordable prices.

So whenever I'm in California, I make a stop at 7Leaves because it is one of the only boba shops I've been to where they have mung bean tea. If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend it. It is one of the most popular item on the menu so there are plenty of others that agree with me. The mung bean tea feels very refreshing and cooling. There's a term in Cantonese called "Yeeet-hay" meaning there's an imbalance in your body (usually when you eat too much fried food or you eat out a lot). Well the mung bean drink is great to reverse the heat. Not sure about other locations but this one does serve half gallon size containers. For our group, many of us wanted the mung bean option so it was the cheaper route to order. However, when we were here, they ran out. I don't think it's advertised so just ask if they have it available.

I recently moved into the area and had no idea there was a 7 Leaves nearby, so the revamp was great timing! So far I've gotten the Thai tea, green Thai tea and the sea cream Jasmine tea and they've all been great. The sweetness is just how I like it and the boba and custard pudding are yummy as well. The interior is very spacious and clean, definitely a good spot to study or chill. The workers are also very nice and service is quick!

The service here is EXCEPTIONAL. I feel like anytime I come to this specific location... I'm never ever disappointed. The workers here are SO nice! I came to study here once and the worker gave me an extra free drink on the house. I also came about two weeks ago and they gave me free drinks. This is a great place to study (but sometimes I experience glitchy wifi which kinda sucks). They get your drinks out pretty fast too. I love that this is the closest 7 leaves near me. Will be back very soon!

The service here is amazing, I went in today while doing a door dash. And as soon as I walked in Amy acknowledged me. As I waited for the order 1 min at the most. I asked her what she recommends as I always come to this location and have never tried it. She recommended the strawberry hibiscus tea it was really refreshing and tasty, me and my wife enjoyed it. Thank you Amy for the tea. Your customer service is amazing will definitely comeback to try other drinks! Wish I had a picture to attach but let's just say the tea didn't last very long that's how good it was!

Amazing service! I accidentally ordered "pick up" order instead of delivery so I canceled my order and they still sent it to me when I reordered it for delivery. I appreciate you guys so much! And the drinks of course are always supa good!

We lived around El Monte and wanted to try the drinks here. We opted for drive thru in the morning and it wasn't very crowded. The menu looks very good and I wanted to try their house coffee. I was so happy looking at the cream on the top. That's my kind of coffee. It's a Vietnamese coffee but a little different. It tasted absolutely fantastic, coffee was strong and the sweetness perfect. I was so tempted to try everything off their menu. We went with a macron too and it was decent nothing extraordinary. But I would definitely go for their drinks again and can't wait for them to open in our city.

**Don't go to the 7 Leaves in El Monte, they have the worst service. I was ordering my House Coffee as usual since this 7 Leaves is on my way to work. I come to this place 4 to 5 times a week, and this morning, while ordering my coffee, the manager, very rude, told me not to be disrespectful. Hearing these accusations left me shocked because at no point were either my parents or I rude. We simply moved from the speaker to the window because they couldn't hear us. When we received our Ham and Brie, they were completely burned and had no cheese. Noticing what they had served us, I got out of the truck and went to the establishment, where the manager, very rude, raised her voice at me. I, speaking softly, asked for an explanation, wanting to know how I had been disrespectful, but the very rude manager started yelling at me in front of all the customers. I was confused and could swear she had me confused with someone else. I didn't understand why she was accusing me of being disrespectful, and I still don't. After receiving my refund for the burned Ham and Brie, I wanted an explanation, but the very rude manager threatened to call the police on me. To this day, I don't understand how we were disrespectful, but one thing is for sure: 7 Leaves in El Monte, you've lost this customer.**

7 Leaves is my go-to boba shop. The drive-thru is super convenient when I've got my toddler with me. My favorite drink is the Sea Cream Black Coffee, and my wife is a big fan of the Green Thai Tea.

Stopped by to grab some drinks after a short day of work! Just wanna give a shout out to the girl with the butterfly tattoo cause she was super sweet. I don't normally go to 7 Leaves, so I wasn't sure how to redeem my points, but she helped me out a lot. I ordered four drinks and three macaroons. Unfortunately, they were out of vanilla and chocolate, but the ones I got were still really good. A little on the sweeter side, but I love how soft the shells are. Honestly, I can say that I haven't had a bad experience with their drinks just yet! With every 7 Leaves that I've been to, all my drinks were always made perfectly. And I always love that they have a drive thru, which makes my life so much easier. 10/10!

This was my first visit at 7 Leaves, I chose it over the Starbucks just across the street because I heard their coffee was good. The young lady working at the window, I believe her name was Tiffany if I remember correctly, was an absolute sweetheart. Amazing customer service even at 7 in the morning. Very quick drive thru in comparison to Starbucks as well. We just moved to the area and will definitely be returning. I tried the House Coffee and it was delicious, 10/10 recommend. Very strong

I love their green Thai tea! I always ask for less sweet but they still always make it super sweet. Drive thru goes by quickly.

Good boba store. It is one of my favorite after Tasteas. I usually ordered 35+ drinks a week at Tasteas Irvine. It does get expensive. 7Leaves in South El Monte is a good location since there is also limited competition from like Tastea or big boba brands while there are 6+ smaller family owned ones and it is a central location without having to be in Alhambra or Monterey Park. This location has a bit of a line when it comes to the drive through and the interior is always clean and air condition fresh. Simce it's in the same plaza as stores and other things, including a huge parking lot, it provides ease of access. I came here to do remote software engineering work and it's good seating with sun shades. There is also a Chase across the street, one of the best banks in the world, for easy ATM access to money to spend here at 7Leaves. South El Monte has a budding and blooming scene for Taiwanese boba, Vietnamese foods, Thai foods and drinks, and even more.

Something unique about this 7leaves is their drive thru option! It's so convenient to do a mobile order and use the drive thru to pick up your order!! My favorite drinks by far are: * Vietnamese House Coffee - I typically add 3 shots of espresso to this drink if I really need the boost of energy! * Oolong Milk Tea - So fragrant and milky! Always a consistent flavor. * Black and Tan - A secret menu item... but this is the House Coffee and Jasmine Milk Tea combined. This combination is the perfect balance of butter from coffee and sweet from the milk tea.

I've been a loooong-time customer of 7 Leaves. I certainly enjoy the ease of having a drive-thru option along with being able to sit inside the shop for a couple hours to work or chat with friends if needed. I appreciate Carlos, the general manager, for reaching out directly when my Leaves didn't work to redeem my birthday drink and was able to offer me the redemption at a later time. Always pleased with the flavors for their drinks along with the quality customer service! My go-to's are the Assam, Matcha Soy, and House Coffee.

I love 7 leaves. I always get the mung bean drink whenever I visit 7 leaves. I don't know anywhere else that offer this kind of drink. As of June 2025 the drink is $5.45 which is equivalent to your typical starbucks drink. I like the fact this place has a drive through. This place is quiet. The tv and music not offensively loud and not too crowded. This location is ideal for studying.

They always mess up drinks at this location! I literally pulled up and they were offering me another drink from someone else that they had messed up for ... I appreciate the thought but I asked for no ice... on mine the ones I paid for... and they even repeated my order to me when I was the window - no ice I said I can't have ice. I should've checked but I shouldn't have to!!! There's a reason people ask for things... no I don't want more of the drink you can put less I don't care. I can't have ice because I'm on chemotherapy and I get neuropathy so I can't drink cold. Anyway... so annoyed so I'm practicing my first amendment today.

Thai tea lover here. Been going to 7 leaves a lot lately lol Just sharing my review in this location. As usual. Same great service. Fast. Clean. Friendly. And their app gives rewards. I'd recommend them for sure. My only small complaint is that their boba isn't always soft and chewy. And that varies at any boba shop. I only have boba on the weekends so it's not a problem. I just ask to sample it first. And they're always happy to help. Keep up the good work. See you guys soon.

I ordered delivery through the app this morning for my team and unfortunately the uber did not deliver at all but claimed he did, I called the store to advise them of the situation and everyone was really helpful and sympathetic with me which I appreciated so much that I didn't get a run around like other places. The store manager Carlos then reached out to me personally and offered even more assistance for the inconvenience. Thank you to the entire team but specifically Carlos thank you for your amazing customer service!! You are what a true manager stands for and what customer service should be. You guys are amazing thank you again !

Love their house special coffee and jasmine tea with sea cream and boba. Their service is always on point as well. Tried their orange dream drink. Too sour for me (but that's cus I don't like sour drinks) but the hubs love it.

Personally this is my favorite 7 Leaves to go to as drive thru lines don't take long, customer service is always great, and im addicted to their matcha soy! Literally willing to drive to this one instead of another one closer to me because of how long the lines at the other place can take sometimes. Employees and manager are also super chill when we caught a conversation here and there.

$7 for an upsized drink only to get over half a cup of ice is ridiculous. Bigger insult is I requested light ice. Do better, 7 Leaves.

Stopped by today a couple minutes before closing for some macarons. They have a good amount of baked items along with macarons. I get the Hibiscus iced tea and it's so good. It has a cinnamon taste to it! This store is always organized and super clean. I sometimes go inside when I want to work on some things because of its peaceful environment. I love the customer service here. Every time I go whether it's in the store or through drive thru i'm always greeted in an excellent matter. The employees are the best and are incredibly friendly! Thank you to todays night crew for providing amazing service despite my arrival before closing time!

Very nice place to hang out inside. Chic atmosphere. Staffs are nice and make drinks pretty fast. Menu is not too big, so you don't get overwhelmed with options. They also have drive thru for when you don't feel like walking. Drinks are ok. Good value (nowadays everything is expensive!)

Saw on facebook people raving about 7 Leaves, so I wanted to try it. It was nice they had a drive thru, which is very convenient. Otherwise, the place itself looks very bright and airy. Lots of natural light and looks clean. Good for studying perhaps. The menu consists of milk teas, coffees and small desserts. I ordered the following: Rose Macaroon: Small and delicious. I would get it again if I am craving a sweet dessert. Taro Milk Tea: Unfortunately the water in the tea tasted off and overall it was watered down. I wouldn't order it again. Vietnamese Coffee: I liked it, but didn't love. I wanted to like this place more, but maybe I will try again in a year since I still hear people like it.

Seven leaves has some of the best if not super duper delicious house coffee and Vietnamese coffee. Perfect for those who like coffee, whether sweet, bitter or anything in between. Oh, they also have lemonade and orange type drinks in case you don't want coffee. Their customer service is amazing too. If you're ever in El Monte and want some coffee give this place a try.
