7 Leaves Cafe in Irvine is one of my favorite spots for a refreshing drink. The staff here are always friendly and smiling, which makes a big difference, they genuinely seem happy to be there and it shows. They get your drinks ready incredibly fast, even when it’s busy, which I really appreciate. The place itself is spotless and has a welcoming vibe, with plenty of seating and a chill atmosphere. Whether you’re grabbing a quick pick-me-up or hanging out with friends, this location never disappoints!

7 leaves was recommend to me by a coworker. Decide to try it and now I love it! The house coffee is great and I don’t need to make any modifications to it. The Thai tea is also great too. The service is consistently good and quick.

I called and spoke with Julianne today after placing my doordash order. Yesterday I ordered the drink and it didn't have the sea cream that I paid for. Julianne made sure my drink was properly made this time, and today was so helpful and empathetic about my prior experience. Thank you Julianne!

The drinks were good. They give me to try things I wasn’t sure what that is which helped to decide if I like it or not. They are open late which helped me to get some drinks on a long ride. The atmosphere was nice at first and there were people in line at night. The downside of all of this is that they asked for a tip straight after you pay and minimum it is 15 percent. There were 15% 20% and 25 % for a tip. These people don't serve me. They just sell me a drink. Why do I feel obligated to give them any tips and not just a small tip but that experience tip? Other cafes for people who don't want to stay in there there is an option to leave 1 or 2 dollars. I felt very disappointed and bed about that gready attitude. Jus put 1 dollar for people who is taking out. Who managed that tip? Who is so gredy there?

there was no milk in my Japanese macha milk tea. Sugar was not melted at all that it was all sunk in the bottom. It seems other people have experienced the same two issues(no milk, undissolved sugar). Hope this great store provides consistent care in the future. Add: I realized what was a problem. A few persons might mistakenly say Japanese macha milk tea for japanese macha latte. Dont just give japanese macha tea. Confirm with a customer plz. I added some stars as I made a mistake in part too. But I certainly said "milk tea" and also sugar not at all melted at the bottom was low quality.

It’s open later than the other locations but my green Thai tea literally looks nothing like pictured. I ordered less sweet with oat milk and there was none. I could only drink about 1/3.

This coffee shop is located in Irvine close to 405 exit and also somewhat close to Newport Beach. It is in a plaza with an Asian emphasis. Ordered their signature house coffee hot. The taste was good. It was both sweet and sour like a chocolate with sea salt. The good thing is that they are open until midnight ⭐️ The interior design is okay and gives a coffee shop feeling but can improved. You can find a seat relatively easily. The table I seat was not much clean but was okay.

I got house coffee (Vietnamese coffee with sea salt cream). It’s tasty. I didn’t get to try other items. I would go back for more.

Spanish hot mocha latte! Delicious and hot! Not too sweet, not bland, a perfect balance.

7 Leaves is a chain cafe shop offering coffee, tea, and boba in one convenient location. On a cold rainy day, 7 Leaves Irvine was a perfect and convenient cafe to get some studying in. I ordered their hot Mung Bean tea which reminded me of Vietnamese mung bean Chè Thai dessert. Warm, with a thick drinkable sweet bean dessert consistency, I loved how it was not overly sweet and just right. 7 Leaves was a great experience and their Mung Bean was a rare flavor I loved trying.

7 Leaves is a cafe I can count on when I need a caffeine boost early in the morning. This location is located in the Diamond Jamboree plaza. Parking can be extremely difficult here depending on what time of day you come. In the early morning, parking is a breeze. In the evenings/night it gets packed! The inside is pretty small with limited seating. Many students come here to study or do homework. The service has always been super friendly each time I've come. My go to is either the House Coffee or Green Thai Tea. House Coffee 9/10 - The perfect pick me up in the morning. I sometimes stop by and get one on my way to work if I really need the caffeine. The coffee is very strong, but the cream adds a sweet and hazelnut flavor. Overall on the sweeter side but I prefer it that way. Definitely keeps me awake! Green Thai Tea 9/10 - Probably my go to drink a majority of the time. Drink is pretty sweet with nice floral notes. I do get it easy sweet and for someone who prefers sweet drinks I think this is the perfect adjustment. Best green thai tea I can find aside from Seaside, which nowadays is not worth going to due to how long the lines can be. This one is a good alternative!

Good drinks. It is nice that they fill the drinks to the top. Some locations don't do that. Service was good. There's indoor seating. You can hang out with friends or study inside.

This is the 7 Leaves Cafe in Diamond Jamboree. Came here on a Saturday evening around 6pm. I got the Thai Tea and a Jasmine Milk Tea. The Jasmine milk tea was a bit watered down for my taste, but it was still good. And, you can't go wrong with 7 Leaves Thai Tea. I took 1 star away because of all the students sitting inside studying... There was no seat open for actual customers who just wanted to get a cup of boba and talk. No real ambiance as it seems like they expect customers to just buy their drinks and leave.

After stuffing ourselves at BCD Tofu we needed a little afternoon pick me up and 7 Leaves delivered. The traditional Ca Phe Sua Da was the perfect buzz to keep me energized throughout the rest of the day! And it's sooo tasty. If you like your coffee extra strong, this is the place for you. It's pretty small in here so probably best to plan to take your items to go, but they are very fast.

7leaves is always reliably quick and delicious! I've tried so many of their drinks and I almost always love them. Highly recommend!

I love me a good cup of 7 leaves. Every time I go there the drinks are very consistent. That's one of the reasons why I keep coming back because I know what to expect. I have been obsessing over their Brazilian lemonade. Which should be called Brazilian limeade. However it is delicious. And if you haven't tried it, you should. The service was good. Everybody was very helpful. One of the things I didn't like was the layout of the café. It is a smaller café with two doors and so it was just confusing on how to line up, especially when it got busy. But overall, it's still one of my favorite Boba places.

The service is impressively fast, even when they're busy, and my drink orders are always spot on. The place is spotless, clean tables, tidy counters, and an inviting atmosphere every time. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee or staying to study, it's a great place to relax and enjoy excellent service and quality drinks.

A good drink location that's very consistent with the rest of the locations. The Diamond Jamboree parking lot can get very congested at times, so parking can often be difficult. They have both indoor and outdoor seating available. The drinks are very consistent with the rest of the locations in the chain. The tea has good flavor and they offer substitutions for the milk. The boba is cooked well and the service is very quick.

This has to be my favorite 7Leaves. They are super quick with my drinks (literally 5 min wait) and they make it perfect every time. if i need a quick coffee before work this is my ideal stop. I usually mobile order in the app and it is always ready when I walk in. The inside is very nice and it is a perfect place to work or study.

10/10 Green Thai Tea - I always ask for less sweet because this drink is insanely sweet if you don't! My usual go to and it never disappoints. 4/10 Boba- Ugh everytime I always get 7Leaves boba they suck! There were a handful of soft bobas initially drinking it but within minutes they were getting hard and dense in the middle. I need to stop asking for boba and wasting my money. 3/10 Price- $7.05 in total. Boba costs $.90. Price is high but at least you get a large sized drink.

This is my first time at any 7 Leaves, so I'll make this review short and sweet. I was in the mood for [another] coffee earlier this morning, and after heading to both Starbucks and Paris Baguette numerous times, I thought this was the perfect time to do so. I ordered the Sea Cream Black Coffee, and it tasted just like how I imagined it would taste: Perfect amount of coffee/caffeine, and the right amount of sea salt - and not to mention the sea salt being blended with the whipped cream has the right taste, and did not taste too salty nor bland. I thought of putting in some Boba since it's been a while since I had some (yes, I know, Boba at 10:30 in the morning may sound weird, but hey, it's Friday, so might as well. Definitely returning.

7 Leaves is located in the Diamond Jamboree center in Irvine. This cafe was small and different from the ones I've been to. It's just mainly drinks and a few snacks but not the typical cafe where they had other desserts. Was a little disappointed cause of that but got a couple drinks since we were already there. I got the mung bean milk tea with grass jelly. I think next time I'll check to make sure the 7 Leaves I go to have a wider range of selections.

Got the Mung bean milk tea (easy ice, easy sweet, honey boba) ($6). It's perfect when you're craving a sweet treat! It is pretty sweet, so I would recommend easy sweet. I love the grainy texture and how even after the ice melts, there is still a strong taste. This drink reminds me of the Vietnamese dessert, which I believe is called Che Ba Mau. And as always, boba was nice + chewy and service was fast! This place is also a great study spot as there are plenty of tables and free wifi!

I got house coffee (Vietnamese coffee with sea salt cream). It's tasty. I didn't get to try other items. I would go back for more.

My drink was made so fast, all of my adjustments were missed. How might this happen you ask? An overly eager barista hears an order and prepares the drink without listening to the entire order and before the transaction is complete. I would have gladly waited another 5 minutes for the correct drink, than have a drink that missed the mark and is already prepared before I even finish paying. Remember, it's never impressive to serve a drink so fast at the expense of quality.

Steep Thoughts: Florence's Quest for (Her) Perfect Black Milk Tea Black milk tea: 1.5/2. I almost always get the Assam Milk Tea, easy ice, easy sweet. The drink has a roasted, malty, almost chocolate-y taste with a very creamy mouthfeel and is not at all bitter. The flavor of each drink is also very consistent between locations. If you generally like less sweet drinks, though, 7 Leaves drinks will likely be too sweet. Other drinks: 0.5/1. My mom and husband like the Mung Bean Milk Tea, although it definitely needs to be easy sweet. My friends love the coffee drinks, especially the House Coffee and its seasonal variations. Drinks tend to be consistent in flavor between locations, but all drinks can verge on too sweet. Ambiance: 0.5/1. This location has limited seating but can be a nice place to work if you snag a table. Keep in mind that Diamond Jamboree gets really busy especially on evenings and weekends, so parking can be a challenge at times. Service: 1/1. Order at the counter inside or online using their app. There is a reward system that allows you to get a free drink for every 12 or so drinks you order. Drinks are made pretty quickly. Total: 3.5/5

Came and ordered a large Vietnamese coffee and left with a large up instead... for .90 cent more:( the cashier changed my order to large but never communicated to the staff!!!

This is my go-to 7 Leaves spot since it's right by work! Great friendly and quick service. Drinks are always consistent and the store is clean. I downloaded the app since I frequent so often now

Staple spot for tea and boba! I like their sea salt jasmine and matcha soy latte, which you can substitute for oat milk.

Reliably good drinks. Been going to various locations for years. I wish they had more non-dairy milk options.

Every time I go here they are super busy but that doesn't deter me! They're busy because they're so good! The drinks are delicious and you absolutely MUST try the macarons. They're made fresh in-house daily. The chewiness is sheer perfection! Seating can be hard to come by, so keep that in mind. Also, this is located in Diamond Jamboree which is known for impossible parking.

The drink didn't taste as good as previous house coffees, but my main complaint was that there was a hair in my drink. I didn't notice it until I was over halfway done (I was driving and didn't inspect it until after I stopped) and I was too far to turn around and bring it back. I reached out to customer service multiple times and didn't hear anything back. I love 7 Leaves but I'm not planning on going back to this location...

Had the Vietnamese coffee and it was really good! My friend had the strawberry hibiscus. The barista in the morning was so kind! He offered a sample so I got to know how it tasted before I got it.

This place always has good quality teas and drinks and I have never had a drink I didn't like. I'm really into the Mint Sereno and this time I added caramel. It really elevated the drink and it was so yummy and refreshing. You can't get a drink like this anywhere.

I always like going to 7 Leaves for their mung bean milk tea. This location is a great location to bring your laptop to study at or just relax. The wait to get your drink is usually never long and the staff are generally friendly.

i kinda finished the drink before taking a pic BUT the Love Cream never misses. Also if you order within the app you can add expresso shots to your liking...no extra cost. if you need a place to study that also has a variety of food around then i really recommend this 7Leaves. this location is also open till 12am so diffidently a great late night study spot 10/10

Stopped in for some quick boba. Boba was made to perfection. Drink wasn't too sweet. Cute and busy little place. Service was great and fast!

Milk tea is always just okay. I'm never blown away by the quality but I'll get a Thai milk tea every so often if I'm waiting for BCD tofuhouse. This review is moreso about the service. Came in on Thursday night around 8pm- my friend and I were assisted by a rude woman wearing a black tank top and grey zip up sweatshirt. It seemed VERY evident we were an inconvenience to her from the start of the interaction. After getting our drinks, we just wanted to get out of there, I ended up needing to go back in for a thinner straw and upon asking her for one, she gave me the DIRTIEST LOOK, rolled her eyes and handed me one. I am so sorry that asking for a straw upset her to this degree - I really don't think anyone should be working in food service if they're unable to provide at the very least a polite interaction.

Being a chain Tea Shop, their drinks are always on point and consistent with the other locations. This is located at the Diamond Jamboree Center where it gets very busy during certain days and hours but the great thing is that it is open till midnight. There is indoor and outdoor seating available here. I usually always go for the Assam Milk Tea as it always has a good bold flavor from the tea. But to mix it up a little I had ordered the Mung Bean Milk Tea with Pudding. The Mung bean has a nice gritty texture to it which I like and it also an even creamier flavor to it. It was my first time ordering some Macarons at 7 Leaves. The Earl Grey is always a good option anywhere you try out. Over all, a nice clean location and has a good lively ambiance to it, and their drinks are usually on point.

7 Leaves is probably my go-to spot for boba! The mung bean milk tea is my fav drink of theirs, although tbh I've liked all the drinks I've tried so far! I like that they have a small menu, since I usually have a hard time making decisions when it comes to boba I always appreciate the quality of the tea and the boba at 7 Leaves! This location was clean, with plenty of seating available. I think it would be a great place for studying or maybe catching up with friends!

Got my usual Strawberry Hibiscus with boba. Drinks came out fast. But the sliced apples tasted mushy and the boba was not sweet at all. Also they stopped accepting the 20% off yelp check in. Boo. Will stick to the 7Leaves off Jeffrey. 3 stars.

I came in today around 2:30 for the first time before my work shift & I was really impressed with how cute it was inside ... However the sweet barista really made an impression & I was very glad I finally got the time to stop by. Such a cinnamon roll of a guy, very kind, very patient, & so gracious. I do HIGHLY recommend this location!!

I literally took three sips and I have nothing left but ice. What a scam!!!! I don't remember any 7 Leaves Cafe being like this! I guess I need to find another place, waste of money..

Came here after dinner. Got myself an iced special house coffee. I also got to try the mung bean drink hot. They were both yummm. I enjoyed my Vietnamese coffee. And the mung bean drink was surprising really good. What got me was that the hot drinks only come in one size. My friend had to order themselves two. It is a tea place I wouldn't mind coming back to.

I got a passion fruit with mint today and I have always like this drink because of the mint, I was so disappointed, my drink had only 2 leaves and didn't taste the same, now I'm going to wait to order on line.

Every table was full at 8pm on a Thursday night. They have a self service kiosk, but we opted to go to the front instead. Glad we did. We were able to try their new Brazilian lemonade. -Vietnamese coffee. Opted for this one the house coffee since it had a shot of espresso. -Brazilian lemonade. Try it. It's delicious! Lots of different drinks for every palate. Would recommend.

This is a small location but the staff here always does a great job and gets the orders completed pretty quickly. The store is always clean and well lit. The macrons are $2.75 each for simple, undecorated macrons. The strawberry hibiscus is delicious and not overly sweet. This shopping center is SUPER popular so probably best to figure out your order ahead and either order in the app or text it to a friend and drop them off while you circle the parking lot for a parking spot. Getting in and out of the parking lot will take a few minutes so if you are in a rush, this shopping center is NOT the place for you.

Tea drinks at Diamond Jamboree, conveniently located. Good, basic options which include more traditional teas to fancy fruit flavored drinks. You can request less sweet and less ice, they type of milk, choice of toppings if you desire, and customize your drink a bit. My jasmine milk tea was still sweet even though I requested less sweet. They did reduce the amount of ice at my request which was good. I could taste the flavor of the jasmine tea which was good. I asked for oat milk. The Japanese matcha soy tea was pretty good and less sweet than the Jasmine tea.

Fast service, but please next time go easy on the ice. I literally got 75% of my drink filled with ice. Pretty good though.

We got 2 drinks form this place- a mung bean with boba and green Thai tea with boba. The green Thai tea flavor was off putting and artificial, and the green mung bean tasted mildew-ish. The boba were insanely overcooked and "soggy" if that's a way a describe boba texture. We do not recommend this place and we would never come back again.

Incredible value and service here! As soon as I ordered my drink was ready. I ordered the mung bean milk tea and it was sweet and refreshing. There is a bit of a toasted aftertaste, which I'm a fan of. For those who like boba, it's one of the better ones I've had. It's light and springy, and not too chewy.

I used to wish 7 Leaves had more drink flavor options, but I have grown to love their Thai tea/green Thai tea so much that I don't even care anymore! This location is great. I never have trouble with parking surprisingly - and I usually come weekdays at lunch time. I love their ham and Brie croissant, would love to see if that could be combined with their "croffle" sometime soon. The mobile app is so great, and I love that they do cool things to help you earn more "leaves," like donating at your local thrift store etc. Feels like I'm supporting my community when I come here. Love it!!

This place is great very consistent and delicious! I tried the Brazilian lemonade and was surprised by the uniqueness of it. Creamy and refreshing.

Pretty good 7 leaves location. Looks clean inside, drinks come out quick and there's some seating. The plaza is always busy which makes it hard to stop by just for boba, but if you're in the area it's a good choice. Just like other locations, get light ice. 7 leaves locations love ice for some reason...

My favorite spot for drinks. Their coffee, tea, and boba are all great! I usually order the house coffee or mung bean milk tea whenever I do come. I have the app and I recommend downloading it so you can gather points and order ahead of time. It makes everything so much more convenient and you can adjust your drink to how you like it on the app too.

This 7 Leaves is located in the Irvine Jamboree plaza. The great thing about this place is that it's one of the few places that open late in Irvine! The not-so-great thing is they have very limited decaf options. Only 3 drinks are officially decaf (herbal tea, sunset passion, and strawberry hibiscus) and they are all cold drinks. Wish they could make a decaf... anything. They also have very limited customization options, so you don't have much control over the sugar levels besides saying "less sugar" (they said most they can do is 75% sweet). Ended up getting an iced herbal tea (tastes like a grass jelly drink). I asked for extra ice to help dilute the sweetness, and that worked well. The workers were nice, friendly, and helpful... and the place was bustling with people coming and leaving well up til their closing time at midnight. If you want a seat here you might have to wait a bit as there's not that much seating inside. Miss the pre-pandemic days when it was easier to find cute, cozy coffee shops that are open later. Times have sadly changed. Thankful 7 Leaves has enough foot traffic and staff to stay open all hours of day.
