Had breakfast for a few days here and I like it. I tried their few menus and my favorite is the chocolate chip and buttermilk pancakes. It’s so fluffy and buttery. All the ingredients are fast and taste good. I would say the 7 mile breakfast has a great price for the big portion. Henry is the great server. He’s nice, funny, and very tentative. The service is great and quick. The restaurant is clean and quiet. They have indoor and outdoor dining areas. Love the elegant fireplace.

This is our second visit and both times the servers have been great and attentive. Food is great and they have a kids menu. Hany, our server is wonderful and engaging. The view of the sunset is to die for.

Service was a little slow, but realized one young man was taking care of the whole patio by himself. The kitchen brought out the wrong food (we ordered the whipped feta and loaded brisket fries). They brought out steak frites (really good but fries cold). The whipped feta was good and refreshing. The loaded brisket fries were initially good but seemed to have fake/canned cheese. The brisket was tender and flavorful, however. Nice atmosphere on the patio.

Our first night coming in, we ordered our food to go and it took over an hour to get some cold food. Granted, the food still tasted great, we were just a bit agitated as we had just arrived and it took an absurd amount of time. Since then, the service has made up for the initial negative experience. Henry and Jazzlyn have taken amazing care of us during our stay. Very friendly, kind, timely, and guided us in the right direction for everything from food to our overall stay. The atmosphere here is nice as well, very clean, but as I said, those two and especially Henry make it worth your while. He even sent us and our friends off with some snacks, fruit, and protein bars to our room before our early morning flight out. Thank you!!

Was disappointed with the breakfast I had this morning. Dry breakfast potatoes and Turkey pastrami. Loved the hospitality services at the restaurant , it’s the food quality that needs to change

Google
Really nice upscale restaurant located in the Sheraton Hotel. We ordered Fish and Chips, BLAT and a Margarita Pizza. Fish and Chips came with 2 very large pieces of perfectly cooked pieces of Cod that just melted in your mouth. BLAT was so delicious with ripe pieces of Avocado, Bacon that had a nice smoky flavor and was very crunchy, Margarita Pizza was the only disappointing part of the meal, it looked and tasted like an ordinary Cheese Pizza.

Had lunch with friends at 7 Mile Kitchen and our waiter Henry, deserves his own Netflix special—funny, fast, and totally on point. He read the table like a seasoned psychic and had us laughing between every bite. Food was great, but he was the real dish of the night. Bravo, sir—we’ll be back for the fries and the comedy.

Google
Just checked into the Sheraton Hotel, Carlsbad which this restaurant is adjoined to. Friendly staff ushered us to a table with a nice view of the pool area. Order the blat sandwich and it was dreamy smokey flavor from the thick cut bacon. Also for myself got thev impossible Burger which not only had great texture, it had great flavor. Nice start to a mini stay-cation.

Yelp
Henry was professional, respectful, and funny. He made our breakfast time enjoyable. I wish there are more servers like him.

Yelp
We stayed at the Sheraton for one night and ate here for dinner and breakfast. This restaurant is gorgeous and has views of the pool (and sunset) and also has some indoor seating. Outdoor seating does have heating. It's modern and looks like it's newly been redone. The food at dinner was good. We started with the cauliflower appetizer which was delicious--it's crispy (not breaded) with a sweet/spicy glaze and some hummus. This was the star of dinner. We ordered drinks too which were ok but sure did look pretty. There is also a small bar counter outside, and a few patrons came and ordered drinks and sat for a bit. The whole place is poolside and has a nice relaxed vibe, and we got the most gorgeous sunset view during dinner. I also ordered the sweet and spicy sausage pizza which was also very good. The pizza was huge which I wasn't expecting--we could have shared. My son got the kids burger and fries. My husband ordered the steak frites which was just ok. The fries were amazing, but the steak wasn't his favorite. Fortunately, I had plenty of pizza so he ate some of that and agreed it was delicious! We also ordered a s'mores kit to go and were able to make s'mores in the fire pits with our 8 year old, which made a special memory. The service from our waiter was excellent. We came back for breakfast and also received excellent service. We sat indoors this time. I ordered the 7 mile breakfast. It was simple but delicious! Eggs and bacon cooked perfectly, and I think the English muffin may have been homemade. Coffee was tasty too. Husband had the OG scramble and son had chocolate chip pancakes. We would come back in a heartbeat if we stay here again!

Yelp
Two visits Appetizers mid day and Breakfast This place actually has decent food! Located at the Sheraton Carlsbad Resort and Spa. On arrival we decided to get some appetizers . COOPER took great care of us. He was kind and personable. We ordered the THAI CALAMARI - coconut panko, spicy mayo, cilantro, thai slaw WHIPPED FETA DIP -Served with Persian cucumbers, sliced watermelon radish, and warm garlic naan GOCHUJANG CAULIFLOWER -crispy cauliflower, hummus, finished with fresno chiles, cilantro, sesame seeds All the appetizers were delicious! If I were to stay on this property again I would order the Calamari and the whipped feta dip again. Breakfast time! I made reservations through open table. It was busy in the AM. Isabel saw that I was waiting for a while. She was very pleasant, checked me in and our group was immediately seated. I appreciate that. Emily was our server. She was kind and attentive. We ordered the following PARISIAN OMELET - gruyere, mushrooms, spinach, caramelized onions CARLSBAD SCRAMBLE -egg whites, asparagus, bell peppers, goat cheese basil pesto 7 MILE BREAKFAST -two eggs, bacon, sausage, 7 Mile potatoes, toast PROTEIN BOWL -quinoa, avocado, kale, almonds, lemon vinaigrette, basil, feta, poached egg The presentation was nice and the entrees were all great! Hands down the Parisian Omelet was my favorite. You can't go wrong with the hearty 7 mile breakfast. The lighter options would be the Carlsbad Scramble and Protein bowl. Oh and barista Jaslyn made some yummy mocha lattes too!! Overall experiences both times were awesome! Delicious food and great service! Thank you!!!

Yelp
José was amazing, very attentive!! The food was also very good and quick, which made getting to business meetings very easy.

Yelp
Prices are expensive as we ordered 2 classic cheeseburgers at $23 each. It comes with fries or tater tots, of which we got one of each. Burgers were tasty and cooked nicely. Staff was friendly but service can be slow. Good thing there is a hotel $15 credit we can use during our stay as it's part of your resort fee. We went to the pool and then ate lunch at this outdoor spot. Casual dining for families.

Yelp
Back here again!! Henry is still awesome. Food is still good. Kids love their chunky monkey pancakes. Until next time!!

Yelp
At first we were a bit disappointed that the pizza oven was not working! But we ordered burgers instead. I have to say they were delicious. But what really was great was the bartender Dana M. He made the most amazing lemon drop martini! Best we've ever had! Perfect amount of tartness and sweetness, smooth and so delicious! Great job Dana! We'll be back for sure!

Yelp
When I decided to go here, I did not realize the restaurant is inside of a hotel. Myself and my friends were in dire need of a burger after a hike in much hotter weather than we had any business being out in. I searched for burger on yelp and 7 Mile Kitchen came up. Close by with lots of really tasty looking burger pictures so we drove right there. We arrived at 2 PM, the restaurant was completely empty with the exception of one person at the bar. The space was huge and beautifully decorated as well as incredibly clean. It took a little while for everyone in my party to get inside and during that time, the waitress was very Attentive trying to get us started with our order even though we had stated several times that we'd like to wait for everyone to get there. Once everyone was there, however, things slowed down. We ordered a couple of iced teas, waters and a few draft beers. The waitress came back to the table, literally three times to ask my friend which beer she ordered. We placed our food orders and I'm not kidding you when I say it took literally 45 minutes for the food to come out. My girlfriend Sarah ordered the salmon burger, but the 7 mile burger was delivered to her. She was too hungry and had waited too long to send it back, so even though she didn't really want to eat beef that afternoon she ate it, and was charged full price, which was $27 for a burger and fries. My brother has an allergy to onions. He ordered the Elote nachos and was very clear that he did not want any onions on his food. The waitress told him that it didn't say onions on the menu so there wouldn't be onions on the food. However, the food was to be delivered it had pico de gallo on it, chock full of raw onions. The waitress caught it before it came to the table, so they had to remake his food. His food literally was not delivered until every single one of us was done eating when it was delivered. It was also the cheese, the corn and the sauce that was supposed to be on it. He basically got a plate of chips with chicken on top. I think there was a little bit of corn, but it was on the bottom of the plate. It was very weird. Again, he paid full price for his food and they comped one of his beers. I generally tend to like hotel restaurants even though they are on the pricey side. They can be really good and typically the setting is quite nice. I just don't understand how with almost no other customers in this place everything was discombobulated and took so long. I ordered the classic cheeseburger with tater tots. It was pretty good, but to be honest on the bland side. I can't see myself going back to this restaurant again.

Puneet K.

Yelp
The place has no respect for your time, took time 35 minutes to take my coffee order. And close to an hour until the food came out. Oh I had to tell the front desk twice to send someone to take my order. They took my food order and never took my drinks order. Tables to my left and my right got service within minutes. I don't like to assume but if you look a certain way, you'll get service, if you're darker skin, take your business elsewhere. Ambiance - Lobby is nice but the service Oh wait, I never got ketchup or any sauce or anything.

Yelp
After a day out in the sun at lego land we needed dinner. My brother had looked online to see what was close and this place popped up. 7 mile kitchen was just a few minutes drive from Lego land so not bad at all. When we pulled up the first thing that came to mind was that this was a gorgeous resort style hotel. And off course 7 mile kitchen matched the ambience of the rest of the hotel- breathtaking. We were seated right away. Service here was great and the food was amazing.

Arde H.

Yelp
The food here is great, but what makes the experience truly wonderful is the care and attention of a server named Henry. We stayed at the Sheraton during the holidays, and he greeted my family every morning with a big smile and a wonderful attitude. He made great suggestions, and got our order perfect. My two sons (ages 6 and 9) even asked to be seated in his section each morning because he was so nice! The entire staff is great, and the food is very good, but we will be sure to come back mostly for Henry.

Tom C.

Yelp
Jose was very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Yelp
Wonderful service by Jose and the team. We enjoyed our continental breakfasts and our kids loved their pancakes
google avatar

Reynaldo S.

Yelp
We came here during an off-peak weekend with the kids to celebrate a birthday at the hotel and enjoy a quiet weekend away from home. The resort was pretty empty overall, so we were very surprised at the great level of service we received at the restaurant which wasn't fully staffed due to the low season I assume. Our server, Henry was fantastic. He was kind, accurate, and attentive. We got dinner level service at breakfast! We really enjoyed our meal - the food was great quality with good portions and well prepared. The prices are a bit on the high side as you might expect at resorts, but not crazy. Overall, we loved the experience and the great service really made it feel special.

Yelp
This spot is a hidden gem. It's located on hotel property and shares a patio with the hotel's pool. The bar can be casual but the food makes it pretty elevated. Loved the whipped feta dip, burgers and salad. A great spot if you're in the area.

Yelp
Me and my wife went to try this place for a late breakfast option and it was a very good experience in terms of the service given to us . Henry the server was Great! He made the experience comfortable and enjoyable. He always smiles and very polite with his demeanor. He made sure that we have everything we needed before he leaves and would frequently check on us to see how we were doing. The portions of the food were good as well. It's not to much or to little and it taste well. Overall I would recommend the place but then again this is my dining experience it varies on who the server will be . Hopefully this helps you to decide on your next food stop. For the view we sat close to the pool and it was a relaxing day.

Yelp
Jose was the best server. He even laughed at my joke. Kudos. The food was delicious.

Yelp
Worst experience ever. Restaurant empty, waited forever for food. Finally left without eating. Would never recommend or return. Would get 1 star if possible.

Daniel S.

Yelp
Henry was a great server for us, and the food was good. We went when it was a little busy but the service was still fairly quick.

Yelp
Henry took great care of us! He really went above and beyond to make our breakfast experience wonderful. The food was tasty, and the restaurant was cute. It was a nice way to start the day!

Yelp
The coastal Carlsbad eatery, 7 Mile Kitchen (@7milekitchen ) just launched a new spring menu featuring a collection of signature cocktails and tasty bites. New to the cocktail menu are locally inspired libations such as the Heaven In Carlsbad, West Coast Marg, and San Diego Sour. To pair with the cocktails, new burger selections include creative creations such as the Mac & Cheese Burger made with house mac and cheese and the Kimchi Burger made with garlic aioli, kimchi, pork belly, and fried egg. Perfect for sharing, the menu also features specialty pizzas made fresh in the wood-fire oven such as my favorite, the spicy sausage pizza. Come try the new spring menu! We tried: * Heaven in Carlsbad * West coast Marg * Chicken Wings: choice of buffalo, bba, pineapple habanero, honey bourbon glaze, tajin-lime, gochujang glaze * Soft pretzel sticks: whipped mustard butter and beer cheese sauce * BIt chopped salad * Sweet and Spicy sausage pizza: fennel sausage, caramelized onions, fresno chiles, ricotta, San Marzano * Miso salmon * Steak and Frites * Dulce de leche cheesecake

Yelp
Shout out to Dana Matt at the bar. We stopped in Christmas Day late afternoon. Pizza Oven was on the fritz and the kitchen was backed up, but Dana was delightful and efficient.

Yelp
We recently visited 7 Mile after being intrigued by their appealing menu and promising photographs. Our experience, however, was mixed. First, the whipped feta we ordered was disappointing--it was dense and chunky, almost as though it had been hand-squeezed from a block of feta, rather than being light and airy as advertised. While it had a good flavor, it was not prepared as described. The chicken wings we tried were a highlight, delivering on both taste and texture. Our order included three burgers which were satisfactory, and a chicken sandwich that had some appealing flavors but was let down by the disproportionate size of the chicken relative to the bun. The biggest letdown was the children's pizza, which had an overpowering taste of propane that detracted significantly from the meal. In summary, while there were some enjoyable elements, the overall experience did not justify the high prices. Considering the wealth of better value options in the vicinity, I find it hard to recommend 7 Mile for those seeking good culinary experiences within a reasonable budget. The service was extraordinary!

Yelp
Jose 5 stars Spencer nice but slow - 3 Nice atmosphere if you sit outside Inside noisy.

Yelp
Loved our time at the outdoor bar. Dana provided excellent service and cocktails!! Had fun watching the Chiefs while dining . Look forward to returning in the summer!!!

Yelp
Ate here for breakfast before a legoland day. Food and service were great. I had the breakfast burrito and that did not disappoint. Henry our waiter was attentive and accommodating to our particular needs. Hotel restaurants are some times a little pricey but this one was worth the spend.

Yelp
food was good and bountiful but still a little pricey. Henry, our server, was friendly and very attentive.

Yelp
Nothing but great reviews for 7mile, as they saved us on a couple of occasions! We were staying at the Westin but the pool was closed so everyone had to head over to the Sheraton. The kitchen was slammed due to all the people coming over for dinner since no one could use the pool. They did give us a head's up that the food was going to take forever, but it took almost 1.5 hours to get our dinner (including 4 young children, so you can imagine the hunger). However, they provided hot cocoa for the kids which they loved and enjoyed while watching the pool movie. Honestly, a sincerely apologetic attitude goes a long way! (Way nicer than the Westin snobby people at 20/Twenty.) Then the next morning, 20/Twenty at Westin was so overwhelmed by people that they basically shooed us away. We had a party of 7 people which absolutely shook up the hostess at 20/Twenty, I don't think they are as experienced. The 20/Twenty dining room was not even full but they heavily implied that we should go elsewhere. When we went to 7mile, they helped us get seated right away and provided quick and excellent service! I saw more large groups coming in, probably from the Westin, and they didn't make a big stink of it at all. Shout out to Henry, who was so accommodating, friendly and was overall so helpful!

Yelp
We were hungry after a long drive and then checking into our rooms at Marbrisa Resort. The concierge had already recommended the 7 Mile Kitchen to us, and we made a quick trip up the hill and found ample parking. It was almost 5 pm, and we entered 7 Mile Kitchen, which was empty. Staff member Edgar was at the helm, and he seated us in the dining area near the entrance to the Sheraton Hotel. He also advised that although the menu showed many selections, some are not available until after 5 pm. Apparantly, we came during a lull after lunch and before the dinner hour. As we watched other staff arrive and more patrons get seated, it was time to make our dining order. It was kind of funny after waiting till 5 pm, no one made the pizza we waited for a choice. Instead, the Mac burger and the cheeseburgers and grilled chicken were ordered. This 7 Mile Kitchen is nicely furnished and decorated, and yes, it exhumed a more upbeat bar area and upscale kitchen fare. The food was presented, and it looked delicious. I recommend ordering tater tots rather than French fries. We were hungry for sure as each morsel of the hamburgers was finished up with a grin. A big bill after dinner was eased somewhat by the 15% Mabrisa guest discount. 7 Mile Kitchen was otherwise a very convenient family dining place. Maybe breakfast??

Yelp
Dana Matt gave us the best experience for our 1 year wedding anniversary. So attentive, drinks and food were great!

Yelp
I organized a family trip to Legoland, in which we stayed at the Sheraton. Each morning, we had Henry as a server. He was great in all regards and made our mornings brighter each day. Friendly, attentive, jovial, and truly happy to help us! It's rare to find such a great experience at a restaurant these days! The food was great as well and reasonable for the amount. Thank you again to Henry!

Yelp
Great set up and Henry was a fantastic server. He took good care of my son and I on his 11th birthday. Appreciate the attention and care. We'll be back.

Yelp
After a long day at Legoland, the Oaxacan Old Fashioned at 7 Miles Restaurant was the perfect way to end the day. Server Spencer in the evening and Henry in the morning, along with the entire team, provided excellent hospitality. It was a truly wonderful experience in Carlsbad.

Yelp
Decided to eat here since it's conveniently at the hotel we're staying at. This restaurant is connected to the hotel lobby. It was a very open space with high ceilings. The chairs with the cushions are comfy. The service was mid. It wasn't crazy busy when we went (there were about 5 other tables?) and we were seated right away upon entry. We were a group of 5 and got seated at the table with 1 utensil setting. When our first appetizers came out, we were not given any plates or additional utensils and no one was in sight to ask for them (the waiter delivered it and left without asking if we needed anything). I ended up grabbing the utensils from the table next to us. The food was okay, but for what they charge, we had hope the quality would've been better ): Tried the Frito Misto which is calamari with shrimp and fried olives, Papardelle Bolognese which is a meat sauce with very wide pasta noodles topped with ricotta cheese, the Caesar salad (not pictured), shrimp scampi, and the Tartufo Pizza. The most enjoyable item was the pizza which has wild Mushrooms, Caramelized Onions, Truffle Cream, Arugula, and Reggiano. Sadly, the shrimp scampi was watery and bland. Not sure if I'd go back, even for the convenience.

Yelp
We visited 7 Mile today, Saturday, July 1st, 2023, at 12:00pm which is located within the Sheraton Resort. I made reservations on open table, but they weren't busy and had 6 tables already seated. I want to start off saying the view is wonderful. You can sit outside on the patio which faces the pool area. It took a very long time for someone to come greet and grab our drink orders and apparently we weren't given the drink menu along with silverware when seated. I ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese as well as a Moscow mule, and my boyfriend ordered the shrimp scampi with a Battlemage Red Ale. I want to give the chef some credit because the food was delicious. It took forever to order, forever for the food to arrive, and they forgot to bring chili flakes BUT... Like I said, the food was really good. Would I come back? Probably, but the 2nd visit would be solely to see if service was bad again, meaning this is an ongoing issue . If it's the same way for a 2nd visit... Especially at a slow time, I'm afraid I'd have to take my orders to-go. Please try their food, it's really very good... But if you're looking for attention from your Waiter... There's a chance you will be disappointed. Bon Appétit!

Yelp
We had dinner plans and just needed something to tie us over, so we stopped in for some margaritas, fritto misto (fried calamari), and gelato. The margaritas were good, fritto misto was nicely seasoned and breaded, but what I loved most was the gelato. I had the pineapple gelato and it was so yummy! It was made with fresh pineapples and had a nice tartness to it. I look forward to stopping by next time I'm in the area! Service was super friendly, especially at the gelato counter!

Yelp
It was my second time here at 7 Mile Kitchen and the breakfast taco and burrito were top choices. My server, Henry, was so gracious and warm. Made my morning dining experience top notch. Wonderful service and a very pleasant breakfast experience.

Yelp
Wow! We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and service and 7 Mile Kitchen. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and a night cap here during our short stay. Shout out to Henry who recommended the cauliflower(which was absolutely incredible) and provided the most friendly and professional service! Beautiful open air concept with heaters for a chilly day/night. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
