7132 Silver

"At this stylishly urban restaurant (housed in 7132 Hotel, a heritage building that is a magnet for design and architecture fans), Dutchman Marcel Koolen has taken charge of the kitchen. With the support of his international team and executive chef Matthias Schmidberger, he proposes highly creative cuisine with a strong vegetable component. For example, when he combines artichoke pieces cooked in salt dough with artichoke and potato crisps and pickled Vals vegetables and arranges them on a tomato, pepper and basil cream, the result is packed with incredible flavours. The chef is also a dab hand at preparing meat, fish and shellfish. The surprise menu, also available in a fully vegetarian form, can be accompanied by wine pairings or home-made alcohol-free pairings. As for the service, the team led by Franziska Wölfle is professional, charming and always on hand. The chefs, too, join in with serving and talk you through the dishes. The aperitif is taken in the kitchen, complete with a sneak peek behind the scenes." - Michelin Inspector

It’s the perfect place to unwind—whether you’re alone, with family, or with friends. Everything is thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. We truly enjoyed our one-night stay and would love to return for a longer visit next time. The staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The place is spotless and beautifully maintained, and every detail has been carefully considered to make you feel at home. Soaking in the thermal bath with a mountain view—what could be better?

We stayed in the hotel for a weekend celebration, and it was an all-time memorable experience. From the place to the service and the experiences they created for us. Everything exceeded our expectations and made it one of my favourite places in the world.

We had the most wonderful stay at the 7132 Hotel in Vals. From start to finish, everything was exceptional, the food was truly delicious, the drinks outstanding, and the massage treatment something really special. The thermal baths and the architecture of the hotel and spa are worth the trip, offering a unique and calming atmosphere within such a cozy and welcoming setting. On top of that, the staff were warm, professional, and made the whole experience even more memorable. A perfect place to relax, recharge, and treat yourself. I’ll definitely be back!

Quintessentially Swiss alpine luxury at its finest. From the moment you pull up to the formalist architectural entry to the first steps into the suite and the baths it is a five star experience. Made mostly in part by the incredible service offered by the entire team of the hotel. We were kindly greeted at our vehicle and everything was sorted for us. At check in we had a lovely experience and a welcome drink. The spa rooms have incredible bathrooms with steam showers and bathtubs and deep and wide terraces. The bedroom is incredibly quiet as the bedhead wall faces and internal wall within your own suite. The attention to lighting controls, material details and services is five star. As for the spa access its effortless and can be accessed almost anytime during the stay, early morning for a private and quiet experience, and the special nachtbaden is magical. Please note if you go on Friday night although it is advertised as SILENT it is not enforced and its open to ALL hotel guests (meaning the budget friendly 7132 House of Architects) and the guests are very disrespectful and ruin the experience for everyone and talk all night long even when other guests remind them and tell the guards and check in person. The hotel should enforce the quiet policy better on Friday night make the guests sign an agreement acknowledging they are to be 100% quiet unless its an emergency, and fine them for speaking as a first warning and then kick them out of the therme if they repeat the offense and ban them from the hotel. Better to go on Wednesday or Sunday if you want guests to adhere to the rules. Silver breakfast is very well done. Servers at da Papa and at breakfast were exceptional. Really thorough. We felt like we had personal butlers at the hotel the service was so incredible. Huge thank you to Diane/Diana and Lukas for making our stay extra special. They both went above and beyond any expectation and offered us an unforgettable experience at the hotel.

We would have loved to stay longer, alas, weekends are too short! If you go, make sure you book a table at SILVER, what a beautiful experience.

The hotel feels overpriced and does not really meet the standard of a true 5-star property. I also found that there was not much to do in the area, which made the experience quite boring. Overall, not what I expected..

Truly a special place that I dream to return time and again. The waters and the facilities, designed by famed architect Peter Zumthor, are close to a spiritual experience, calming and quieting. I’ve stayed in the luxurious penthouse, which is designed by Kengo Kuma, truly expensive but worth it for special occasions, and in various rooms in the House of Architects—these are compact but much more reasonably priced and special with the vibes. The on site restaurants are magical, including the formal restaurants at Red and the elevated Silver whose teams are truly artists. The spas, the front desk, and the concierges trolly go above and beyond to make you feel special, as they have for me each time I’ve stayed. Can hardly wait to return as soon as I’m able.
