Last time I stayed at the House of Architects in Switzerland, I was thoroughly impressed. As an architect with experience from Richard Meier Architects, I deeply value quality, precision in proportions, and thoughtful material choices. This place is an absolute haven. Every architect should experience staying in one of these units to truly appreciate what great architecture can offer. From the attentive staff and delicious food to the beautiful location, everything is just perfect. Although the rooms might seem a bit compact, coming from New York, I find the space quite comfortable. Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough. I’ve visited three times already and can’t wait to be back!

Very nice location and kind staff. But for a 500chf per night the room was realy disapointing. We stayed in Mayne room and was realy unconfortable. No place to leave luggage, no space to dress up. Furthermore the sink was not functional and to control the lights of the room was an enigma. In addition to this, no coffee machine, capsule espresso or either a fridge was in the room

Choose your room carefully and you will be happy. Be aware that the hotel façade and interiors do not correspond to the "contemporary architecture" vibe. The thermal baths are very nice (notably the atmosphere), but the facilities do not match what you often expect from wellness resorts (eg., saunas). The helicopter flight in winter months is a MUST. It's an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience. We also had a great time at the Red Restaurant - the dinner was simply amazing and the Italian staff (Vito, Fabio, Giancarlo) and the maître d'hôtel were so friendly. Shout out to the Portuguese staff in the spa and cleaning, too! All in all, it's a very nice place to spend a night.

There are only two types of visitors: those who are returning to Therme Vals, and those who are new. ||If you're revisiting Vals and 7132: Do try out their different rooms featuring different interiors designed by different starchitects. Do spend some time, stay at the lobby, enjoy a drink. Their book collection is nice. And maybe one day we all should try their helicopter. Attention: the hotel and the spa is closed on Tuesdays. At the coffee shop you can buy a piece of Vals Quartzite, made from the same stone that built the Therme Vals. Nowadays when you say goodbye they give you a bag of bread and two bottles of Valser water. The bread was really good. ||If you have never been to Therme Vals or 7132: No way. It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Must-Visit.

An amazing space to unwind from busy life! Love the Spa - a bit full one of the days but still - great. Stayed at the Tadao Ando room: calm - simple : great sleep! To be repeated!

Great for a weekend. The outside of the building is nothing special, the inside is perfectly designed. The thermal baths are amazing and free to access

The best of this place is the service! Every member of staff from reception to the spa to every restaurant is fantastic. Food is also very good. Now for the rooms? They are small, the beds are too low and the worst is the shower in the middle of the bedroom. Who wants to shower in front of whomever you travelled with? There’s only one chair in the room so you have to sit on the bed or only use your room to sleep. Spaces in general are super tight. Shower is complicated: not user friendly buttons. Also, you enter (the hotel) where google maps tells you and it is all wrong! Go up 20 steps, then 10 more and you’re in a ground floor lobby, BUT, reception is on the 8th floor. No indication on how to drive there in the first place (there is a way, but you have to either go to the hotel webpage or go to the lobby to ask for it, then go back down to your car…) you see the picture. Very bad first impression. The hotel is a building from the 60’s that was remodeled by three star architects. The structure is still old. It is connected through a bridge/corridor to the 7132 5s Hotel which is a higher category hotel. Thanks to the food and staff our long weekend was saved!

Although it is on the pricy side, it is certainly worth it. The room was the most beautiful and refined I have ever seen (Kuma room) and the night at the hotel gives access to two days of Thermes (worth 85€ per entry so 170€ for two days). The staff is extremely friendly no matter whether you are used to this kinds of hotels or whether it is a one of a lifetime experience. Highly recommend
