Great location and setup, really. I just wish the food was better. Quesadilia and fries seem to be the only menu item that are consistently decent, burgers are hit or miss. Ordered a steak sandwich today....would definitely not recommend it. Super overcooked, roll was hard, and the cheese was basically burnt...took two bites and left the rest. Drinks are usually good though!

Food was overpriced and mediocre. I ordered takeout. The truffle fries smelled and looked good but there was barely a dusting of parmesan and only the memory of truffle for the taste. The French onion soup had NO cheese and the onion flavor was far too subdued. I had to add my own cheese. For $16 it was NOT worth it for the price. The service was good but would not recommend the food.

Great restaurant and sports bar. Great service great waitstaff and bartenders the food is decent served hot good taste. It was my 1st time ordering their Beef Stew it was good like really good. The restaurant is clean but they must do a better job with the upkeep of the restrooms.

We had the best experience here!!! The staff is so friendly and polite. Our waitress Bruna was such a delight 😊 The food came out quick and hot! -Fired Pickles were breaded perfectly. -Chicken Bacon Sandwich was cooked just right and the bacon had that great crunch factor. The French fries were crispy and flavorful. -Rodeo Burger was sooo good with a little bit of a kick! The mac n cheese is so cheesey that it tastes homemade.

I recently had an amazing experience at 730 Tavern and I can't recommend it enough! The atmosphere is vibrant and perfect for enjoying games with friends. A special shoutout to Caio, the food runner, who was incredibly attentive and friendly. He made sure our orders were delivered promptly and with a smile, enhancing our overall experience. Leo, the bartender, also deserves recognition for his fantastic service. He crafted delicious cocktails and was always ready to suggest the perfect drink to complement our meal. His knowledge and enthusiasm really stood out. Overall, the combination of great food, excellent service from Caio and Leo, and a lively atmosphere makes Sport Bar a must-visit. I can't wait to return!

Came here to host a large gathering with 35-38 friends to celebrate a birthday and had a great experience. I contacted the restaurant online and they responded quickly to book me a corner of their restaurant. We asked the restaurant to set up our area with bar height tables for mixed seating/standing and had enough space to mingle. I opted for a cash bar and pre-ordered food for the crowd. I ordered truffle tots, brussels sprouts, chicken tenders (real meat), chicken quesadillas, and steak egg rolls off their catering menu and they were all a hit with my guests. People really loved the truffle tots! The food portions were generous, great value, and high quality - perfect for feeding a large group. Plenty of leftovers for guests to box up and take home. The restaurant permitted us to bring birthday cake and stored it for us until we were ready. There was no cake cutting fee (cut it yourself). Overall I had an amazing birthday celebration here and would highly recommend 730 Tavern for large groups/events.

We came to 730 Tavern on a hot humid day to cool off, and were pleasantly surprised. It's a slightly upscale yet casual restaurant with plenty of televisions and lots of space (it's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside). My wife and I split a salad and a sandwich and were very happy with the portion size and price. I would absolutely recommend this place, especially if you're looking for a place to watch a sporting event.

We love this place and have started coming here somewhat regularly as we find ourselves in Central Square on Thursdays each week. But we ordered fish & chips this past visit and were sort of surprised to get one piece of fish for the $21 entree. Our server confirmed that was intended. We’ll be back but not ordering this item again.

My family member recommended this place for a late night snack in Boston: 750 Tavern kitchen and patio square on Mass. Ave Parking: metered street parking. Free after certain hours. Ordered from the Late night menu. I had the burger with fries My family member had the chicken tenders with tator tots. He saud the tenders dish is alwats consistently great. He ate here several times and the tenders were grear! Bar environment with many big screen TVs all over the restaurant. Wait staff was pleasant and answered all our questions. I was grateful the wait staff added slices of avocado to my burger. Place is great for friends and/or family for great time together fir food and drinks.

I've been here a few times for brunch and dinner, and each visit was decent! Service was okay, and the menu is just typical American food fare.--Not a whole lot of pizazz. Great place to watch your favorite sports game though. Noise level was great. The most memorable was when I ordered their loaded nachos (it's very dry that it seemed like the nachos were sitting out for a while before it got to me). An hour after consumption, I got one of the most gnarly explosive number 2s ever. Otherwise, great place to hang, and the location is super convenient, close to city hall. Just don't have high expectations for their food. It's just a typical bar restaurant like Cambridge Commons Restaurant.

Always have something for everyone in the party. Fair prices and easy to get a table for large group when you need it. Kind staff and fast service!

Nice large restaurant right in central square Cambridge. Everything on the menu is good, not blow your mind but reliable good food! Good portions too! I always come back for the Wisconsin cheese curds as I lived in WI for a few years and they are actually pretty good here! The cocktails are not spectacular. Service has always been good as well.

The only fresh thing on our plates were the fruits and vegetables... Service and ambience was great though.

If you are looking for a solid spot with a vast menu, you have to check out 730 Tavern and Kitchen. It is one of my go-to spots in Boston! They have a large menu with something for everyone. They have a vast selection of appetizers, flatbreads, crisp salads, sandwiches, and burgers. I have never gotten a thing here that wasn't phenomenal. The portions are very large. My personal favorite is the Reuben Sandwich with Truffle Tots! The sandwich is ginormous, plenty to split with another person. The Reuben comes piled high with juicy corned beef, melty Swiss, Thousand Island, & tangy Sauerkraut. The marble rye toasts well and holds up to the ingredients of the sandwich. We also are a huge fan of the California Burger. The burger is HUGE. The burger is topped with applewood smoked bacon, sriracha aioli, and avocado. They also have a solid selection of sides included with your sandwich or burger! You can pick from fries, tots, mashed potatoes, salad, rice, coleslaw, Brussels sprouts, grilled asparagus, and garlic broccoli. Our personal favorite is the Brussels Sprouts. They are phenomenal. My only complaints are burger temperature & take-out packaging. The burger was a bit over cooked, I ordered it medium rare. The truffle tots that came with the Reuben were a touch overdone. As for the to-go packaging, they really need to improve on that. They use the plastic containers which trap in the heat leading to soggy tots and a soggy sandwich or burger. Aside from a few minor issues, it is my go-to for a solid burger or Reuben sandwich. I'm excited to work my way thru their awesome menu!

Great food and great prices. Flatbread was very tasty along with some down east cider in the back.

The management here is horrible. The door guy is rude. They're really bad at keeping track of their reservations. Won't be coming here again.

Pretty decent overall. The food gets four or four and a half stars; the rib basket with fries was absolutely delicious and my Cobb salad was as well. My fiancé's steak bites and garlic broccoli was very good too. Our only complaints were about the service. Though the staff was nice they were a little mixed up; we had two or three different servers all try to take our orders and none of them were on the same page. The restaurant was closing early for a NYE party which was fine, but at the door they told us to be out by 9:30 and then later they came up to us and said to be out by 9:00. I ordered a hot tea which they asked if I wouldn't mind getting to go, but they put it in three plastic cups which later melted through and spilled on me on the walk home. If this review was on food alone it'd be great! I would still come back.

We visited on St Patrick's Day...it was packed and we had a large group of 18. Our server was amazing, working mainly by herself, we never felt ignored. She did a great job. Food was regular bar/pub food. The tres leches cake was the star of the meal. It was delicious.

Good drinks (draft Stella and amaretto sours) and exceptional service! Priced reasonably.

We took the T from one stop away to watch the final US Open round on Sunday and have a Fathers Day round of drinks. I'm glad we picked this spot!! We found a couple seats open at the bar, right in front of one of the TVs and they graciously put the Open on for us. The bartender was super attentive and the place was really busy (most watching the Sox game of course). I ordered the ahi tuna salad and hubby had a Turkey club sandwich. Everything was delivered very quickly and was super tasty! I always have a hard time finding good ahi, so was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely loud in here; but hey, that's why you're at a sports bar right? If we were locals, this would definitely be our hangout spot.

Great place to grab a beer and some American food with friends. Quite a large place with fun throwback music. They have many TVs all around for game nights as well. I went on a Sunday night and it was packed. More packed than I'd expect. However, the waiters worked hard to get our orders in as quickly as possible.

Wonderful food and drinks! The wait staff is attentive and accommodating. The pricing is reasonable and the eatery is crowded yet roomy. Even when it's crowded there is not a long wait for food and drink. The food is fresh and always tasty. Bon Appetite!

I've been here several times in the past and always very good. Today driving by at lunchtime so I stopped. Big bar only had 1 customer besides myself. The bar tender took my order within 2 minutes and then she went to other end of bar and played on her phone for the entire time i was there. The buss-boy got me catchup and after waiting 10 minutes for my check busboy returned and also got my check for me. Come on management - make your employees put away their phones while waiting on customers. I'm a very generous tipper normally - felt bad leaving her 10% but that's more than she deserved. I will be back because it is typically very good - curly haired girl (no name tag) needs some training if she is going to make it as a bartender - or live with 10% tips

The food was extremely tasty. I got the grilled salmon with jasmine rice and garlic broccoli. It was amazing. Atmosphere was loud and music wasn't great. Wouldn't go with kids unless seated far from bar. Did not love the vibe, but would go back for food. Menu is great and extensive and service was quick.

First trip to Boston and this place was close to the hotel. Good food and service. Drink was good and was $13. The potato skins were good. The Shepards per was very flavorful.

Terrible experience tonight and I'll stay away until they get new management and experienced staff!! As I was standing by the main bar waiting for them to remove dirty plates and wipe the bar down from the previous customers, the manager walked over and abruptly took the chairs away right in front of me. There was no acknowledgement of my presence, nor explanation as to what was going on. When I asked him for an explanation, his response was "they have group event". Although true, I wasn't a part of this event (it was 8:00 PM btw), nor in their event space that had dedicated and obvious signage. I'm a frequent customer of the establishment (-2x per week) for drinks and dinner. I have always enjoyed their food and the atmosphere. It's very disappointing that the management and service has deteriorated so quickly and poorly. It's been continuously getting worse... and what has prompted me to finally write such a terrible review! Unfortunately it's likely due to the fact that a large majority of the long-term staff (4/5 years) have quit in the last ~3 months because of the terrible management. Sad!

I really wanted to like this place - a nice local Cambridge gastropub. We booked a reservation for a small 2-person birthday dinner on a fairly moderate Saturday night. Seated quickly, not very packed, but we felt like we were ignored. We split the cheese curds for an appetizer. The aioli was good even if the curds themselves more resembled the mini mozzarella stick type and the "sweet chili" sauce was very artificial and sickeningly sweet. My partner got a decent can beer and the steak tips, which were actually fairly good. He was waiting for quite a while for our server to ever come back around for a refill on the beer, which he never got as they only returned at the end of the meal. I got the martini and blackened swordfish, off the specials menu. Really nothing to write home about, the fish was fine and not dry but it left me wanting more for $28. I was put off by the food runner mixing up our food at first with the blackened chicken alfredo, but mistakes happen I guess. But to top it all off, they retroactively charged my card a few dollars more than my stated tip and total on the receipt. I know it's not much, but it's the principle of someone altering my receipt at the end of the night. All these mistakes compounded just didn't give good vibes. I'm just not impressed with my experience and let down. We left with full stomachs but a churning amount of regret. You can and really should get a better 2-person celebration dinner for $100 elsewhere in Cambridge.

730 tavern?? more like 7x(3.0) tavern. as in .. this place is a consistent 3.0, 7 days a week. best place in cambridge to watch sports, but not anything you'll write home about. million dollar burger is discounted at $14, which is still overpriced. not even the best burger on the street. get the pretzel bites. go cavs.

3 things I didn't like is that it took 30 minutes to close out the bill , we wereBARELY checked on and the gratuity is already inputted into the bill and no one informed us. However , we enjoyed everything but the spinach artichoke dip it seemed very generic and flavorless. It's a nice place, nice art, cool vibes but the lack of customer service was very annoying. I shouldn't have had to ask for something that the server should've checked in on or given. I'll be back but with knowledge of what goes on.

Came here for a work function and was somewhat surprised by the quality of the food for a bar that sells jello shots on the main portion of their menu. The appetizers were all solid, especially the potato skins and their wings. The beer prices were all reasonable for the 16 and 20oz options they had on draft and everyone that ordered a cocktail seemed to really enjoy their drinks. Kudos to the efficient and friendly staff as well.

I love the vibe of this place! We sat by the bar which is right across from the large window overlooking Central Square in Cambridge. We ordered the fried pickles, which were the perfect balance of salty, fried and sour especially with the dipping sauces. Definitely recommend getting the sangria as it gave us at least 6 drinks total!

Overrated bar food, there's much better around. Environment is okay, wait staff is great, but bartender on the other hand has his moods .

This was a great stop for lunch. Good location. Nice vibe. Pleasant waitstaff. The food was good. I enjoyed my lunch with friends. The salad was fresh and delicious. The restrooms were clean. Overall positive experience

I've heard good things about this place ( and it's always so full whenever I walk by ) but I'm sad to say this experience wasn't very positive so I'm hesitant to try it again. Came here for brunch on a Sunday morning and the place was packed. Our party of 4 was seated quickly nonetheless and the service was kind, but the food took so long to come out and overall wasn't very delicious so it felt disappointing when we did finally get to dig in. The mozzarella sticks were okay - the cheese felt very stiff but the sauce was okay. The bed of lettuce the sticks were on felt very lackluster - a dissatisfying touch. The eggs Benedict was all right as well - hollandaise wasn't bad and the mix of flavors with the potatoes and fruit salad was good as well. One of our party's food came out incorrectly ( wrong sandwich ) which only added to the poor experience. Waiting even longer to eat felt a little frustrating on top of everything else. Overall, I hope to come back for a non brunch meal and hopefully have a better meal. We'll have to see what happens next!

Great American food. Nothing too crazy but the quality and chef do a good job. I've been here a few times and have ordered: wings, seafood tacos, guac and chips. Also they have the classic beers on tap Also it's also busy with good vibes. Good luck finding a spot during a sports game!

I came to 730 with a group of colleagues. We made a reservation and had a long table in the back room, which was nice and conferred a good degree of privacy. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the BBQ chicken flatbread (good), guacamole & chips (ok), spinach artichoke dip, and sea salt pretzels. Overall, it was a fairly typical pub food experience. I will say their cocktail menu is more inventive than one might think at first glance. I was pleasantly surprised to see caipirinhas on their menu, and further surprised to learn that they were not using 51 cachaça (which gives me a headache) to make the drinks. Most of the cocktails are in the $12-13 range, which is quite reasonable. Our server was friendly, and he adjusted well to the growing group since some colleagues showed up later than others. Overall, it was a nice time, and I would be more likely to return for drinks than food.

Really dug this place. We went there for lunch and both had salads. I had the Southwest salad, and while it said Cajun in the description, it all worked well. Nice staff. Ralphie was behind the bar and a good dude.

My boyfriend and I made reservations for a Friday night for 7:00pm, thankfully we were seated right away. More people started coming in after 8pm. It's a large space with good music. The staff are great, attentive, and our food & drink orders came fast. We ordered the artichoke dip, million dollar burger, & steak tips with sweet potato fries & Brussels sprouts. We enjoyed everything!

We came on St Patrick's Day and we were sat immediately without a reservation. They have a nice drink and food menu with a variety of options to fit everyone's tastes. We ordered a Guinness and Reuben and enjoyed both. We had great service but really liked the overall vibe. They have a ton of TVs with different sports games on and some good music playing. I felt that 730 had a very fun feel and I would definitely come back after dinner time for some drinks.

Soooooo let's just i am highly disappointed in this place. I came here yesterday with my sisters for my birthday brunch. I grew up in Cambridge so it was only right. We are seated in the corner with a couple by the windows. I am burning up as it's 95 degrees outside and there are no vents nor ventilation in that area so I was uncomfortably hot. Sweating off my birthday makeup hot. Tried to go into the bathroom to freshen up and I had to duck and dodge different insects. Eventually we got the manager to move us to another table and the difference in temperature was tremendous. Now the "food" The "calamari" was cold was brought to our table and consisted of mainly fried banana peppers and not calamari. The bacon potato skins were the best things I consumed while here. Although they weren't anything spectacular. The buffalo chicken queso dip had a really good flavor but it was cold and lumpy, do not recommend unless it's fresh. The nachos looked like wax food. The "chicken" taste like bagged chicken and there was nothing appetizing about these at all. Ordered mimosas flights & they tasted like nothing but juice, and the yellow was horrid! All 4 of us ordered flights and none of liked the yellow one. The honey Siracha wings were good, not spicy at all. So more just tangy honey flavored. I asked for ranch and got bleu cheese which I hate, but didn't know until I already ate it. Ordered bucket of bubbles & it comes with orange juice and cranberry traditionally. I asked if I could swap one out for pineapple juice and she told me she could bring me a little but not swap it out even after I offered to pay for it. Our waitress carol was nice but you could tell that she was overworked. She did try to give me a dessert to take home and some boxes but I did not want that food nor those drinks. So we paid the bill (for nasty food and drinks) & went and had food and drinks somewhere else. Very disappointing because as soon as I walked in, I thought I would be returning just based off the ambiance. Sucks for me.

Cute place! I got the turkey club sandwich, which was pretty good. The fries were crispy and yummy too. The place itself was nicely decorated and pretty busy on a Saturday around lunchtime.

5 star review!! I was in Boston and looking for a nice restaurant to bring my long distance friend to. I am gluten free, and this was one of the options that seemed safe, good reviews on gluten free food, and most of the menu was gluten free/vegan which was very inclusive! It was really nice to browse the menu and see so many gf options, as most restaurants are somewhat limited in gf/vegan options. Everyone on here recommends the spinach artichoke dip, and I would give that 5 stars for just the appetizer! (Gf option- corn tortilla chips instead of pita chips!) I had the ahi tuna salad which was delicious. My friend had the blackened chicken Alfredo that he loved. Highly recommend the cheesecake for dessert! We sat outside, and it was the perfect night for it. The service was very good- we were sitting after dinner catching up for a while and they didn't bother us with the check to rush us out. 10/10 experience with 10/10 food that was safe!!

I finally had a chance to have dinner at 730 Tavern, eating indoors. I had the Swiss Burger (my personal favorite), others had salads. All were excellent, with fresh ingredients and good portions. But why only 4-stars? Like many sports bars, it's designed to sound busy: architects can install sound deadening features, but nope - there's none of that here. It was so friggin crazy loud that we had to shout across the table. Ugh.

Really good American food! There is a wide range of appetizers and bar foods to choose from. There also was a decent selection of beers and drinks. I would recommend the dips and flatbreads.

Kind of upset right now. Ordered through DOORDASH like usual since the pandemic. We usually love this place but tonight a few things happened. 1. They took so long my driver had to leave and assign a new driver. That's cool- sometimes things happen and it's a Friday night... I can be patient. 2. Food arrives, missing the steak tips, Brussels sprouts and mashed potato. Instead they sent something that looks like a Pesto Chicken Sandwich with Sweet potato fries. Ok cool, I'll just get the Dash credits credits and reorder, no problem. 3. I call the restaurant to check in and see if they even had the steak tips and actual food that I ordered or if they sent this in its place on purpose. The guys who answered either Ryan or Bryan or something like that. Seemed nice but he kept me on hold for waaaay too long for something that needed a swift resolution. The French Onion Soup and my fathers fish tacos were great but unfortunately I'm allergic to basil and can't eat pesto... so ... not very pleased. I know times are tough for restaurants which is why quality control is super important to keep your returning customers returning. If they didn't have the steak, they should have called to ask what we wanted in its place. If they did have the steak, it should have made it to our door. Who was on expo for delivery orders tonight? Tell them to slow down and double check their orders. So disappointed. Really needed that protein & veggies.

I went here to watch the football game on Sunday and it was really packed and a lot of fun. I've been here once before for brunch, which I would also highly recommend. They have a large selection of drinks, both draft and cocktails. I had the draft mango margarita and I was pleasantly surprised. Would highly recommend this place to watch a game. They also have several food options and are relatively priced.

This establishment has a lot of potential. Great location and atmosphere. However, the kitchen closes too early. Will not be returning unfortunately.I was looking forward to my buffalo wings but I wasn't able to order them. It is too bad. I will hopefully return at some point earlier in the night so I can indulge in the buffalo wings.

Right on the central square, good place to hangout with friends on a weekday :) the waiters are nice and friendly, the food was delivered quickly and the bear tasted good. I am not a beer person and doesn't really enjoy experimenting with beer. However, I liked their seasonal rotation beer (Mango flavored). The waiter was kind enough to give us a sample of beer to taste and pick our choice.

We had an amazing Sunday brunch here, while watching the Liverpool game. Delicious breakfast tacos and drinks in a modern tavern atmosphere. Wait staff were outstanding and friendly as well. Highly recommend 730 Tavern!

Ordered food with an allergy caveat. Was told not a problem, nothing I was requesting was an issue. When I ended up at CVS with a pharmacist running to find gel caps of Benadryl to allay my allergic reaction, I was more than a little upset. My friend, a local architect, suggested I go back and I firm them of the situation, I thought it a little odd. Two days later I went in, discussed it with the bar tender and was offered my 2nd drink gratis. My bill came and I was charged for both drinks. Very nice place to get disappointed.

Each time I go the food is always great and the drinks too. Fast service, nice waiters. Nothing bad to say, really.

Visited on a Saturday evening with restaurant about 25% full and waited 15 minutes for our server who never did take our order. Ended up having to leave and go somewhere else. There were 5 servers or so behind the bar but none seemed willing to come to a table.

Good food, great shots, even better drinks. What more could you need? It was a little bit of a weird experience as there was a Vikings game on and we had no idea this was a Vikings fan base. Everyone was watching the game and screaming. Slightly obnoxious but over all, all in good fun. I would definitely return with my 49ers jersey haha.
