I had a great experience at 74 Duke. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming relaxed but still special enough to feel like a treat. Every dish we ate had well balanced flavours with that classic Parisian attention to detail. It felt like a little taste of Paris right in the heart of town. What truly made the evening stand out though, was the service from Fabio. He was attentive without being overbearing, genuinely friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He gave great recommendations and made us feel completely at ease. It’s rare to come across service that feels both professional and personal, but Fabio absolutely nailed it. Overall, a brilliant dining experience and a great place to catch-up with friends. Great food, lovely atmosphere, and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back.

I don’t know if 74 duke is trying to save on their electricity bill, but it was way too dark. The tuna starter was good - a bit on the saltier side. The portion was way too small and felt incomplete. The burger was mediocre, reminded me a bit too much of Bleecker, which I find to be the better of the two. It felt a bit greasy and was nowhere near the promised medium well we ordered. It was a 6/10. The pasta really saved the visit, it was perfectly cooked and the sauce was amazing alongside the mushrooms. Last but not least, the cookie. It was subpar, and had huge chunks of sea salt that worked opposite to what they are intended to what salt adds to a sweet dish. They had way too much chocolate in them, and i found nac’s and le cafe nac’s much much better. Overall a good experience, but it was nice to have once. #No Bs

Our experience at Duke 74 unfortunately wasn’t the greatest, mainly due to the service. The food itself was absolutely amazing — genuinely delicious. We ate everything and left no crumbs, which says a lot about the quality of the dishes. However, the way the service was handled really took away from the experience. All of our mains were brought out at the same time as the starters, which was overwhelming and made the meal feel rushed rather than enjoyable. From the start, the server made us feel unwelcome, as though they wanted the table back as soon as possible. This feeling only got worse as the night went on. At one point, dessert was sent to our table by mistake while we were still waiting for food we had ordered. Even after telling the server that we weren’t ready for dessert, it wasn’t removed until we mentioned it a second time. On top of that, our table wasn’t cleared after the mains before dessert, even after we asked for it to be cleaned. Overall, we constantly felt like we were being rushed out and that our presence wasn’t wanted — which was disappointing, especially since our booking clearly stated that we had a two-hour seating. It’s a shame, because the food truly deserves better service to match.

My youngest daughter booked this for us. We had never tried caviar so shared the small roll. Have to say Meh, not overly impressed with the taste. Didn't have a starter but just a main. I had the veal with Dauphine potato, whilst my daughter had the king prawn and fries. We both had a bit of each others meal and both agreed that the food was lovely. She had the cheesecake for dessert and said it was very good. Was a bit pricey as I was over £170 but spending time with my adult daughter is well worth it.

I have dined here two times to try different menu items, and the service is really fast, but we constantly feel rushed. I liked their rigatoni pasta and steak in particular, and the burger was really juicy, but cooked a bit too much for my liking when I asked for rare. The drinks were either a hit or miss, I would go with their selection of French wines. The viral cookie dessert accompanied by the banana ice cream was decent, but nothing mindblowing, expected a lot more richness after seeing the hype about it on social media. Decent restaurant overall, but would not go back again.

An excellent dining experience at 74 Duke, London. The beef burger was very good, but the true highlight was the mushroom pasta, beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The grilled chicken was also exceptionally delicious. The bread and salted butter served before the meal were a simple yet memorable touch. The fries were slightly on the oily and softer side rather than crispy, which may not suit everyone. For dessert, both the cookies and rice pudding were delightful, though the cookie portion is ideal for sharing due to its generous size. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was kind and attentive with recommendations, and the hostess graciously accommodated our party despite a booking change. Overall, a refined and highly enjoyable experience. 10/10.

Absolutely lives up to the hype, such a fantastic restaurant. The food was amazing, the prawns were outstanding definitely the stand out meal. The pasta looks so simple but was so effective wow, the burger was what you want out of a burger! I also recommend d the tuna tarter starter. Fabio was fantastic and provided brilliant service! Couldn’t want for me! Perfect birthday meal for my boyfriend! On the proper side but it’s Mayfair and genuinly you get the value in the food and service!

Cute and cozy spot with yummy food. We had the tuna tartare, the beetroot salad, the grilled salmon, the morel rigatoni and the cookies with banana ice cream - the beetroot salad and the cookies with banana ice cream were outstanding and so yummy (the salmon and the tuna were good though small servings, the pasta was a bit too dente for me though the sauce was delicious). Service is generally good, and the ambiance is a bit dark and loud, but quite refined and perfect for a date night. It’s definitely on the pricier side.
