Great food! Great service! There is a waitress named Helen who always helps us change the plates in a timely manner and also helps us add water in a timely manner! Thanks Helen! I like the Dongyingong Hot Pot Base! I like grilled fish and beef! Ice cream is also delicious! Recommend everyone to try ice cream!

This Asian restaurant located in China Town is a very unique concept, they serve Hot Pot 🍲 but with the great addition of buffet service. You can have your hot pot and also grill your meats right in your table. You have 4 options for the broth, I would recommend you the mild soup, it’s very tasty, but they have an option for spicy soup. You grab your plate and go and get all the meats or seafood, veggies, greens and condiments, then you go to your table and you have your soup ready and the grill hot, ready for you. The service we got with Victoria was excellent and the food was fresh and delicious. I want to come back with my family, is a great place to eat all together and share a meal.

Want to experience Asian hotpot culture and the Chinese way to BBQ? You will find no better place than 75 BBQ and Hot Pot Buffet! My wife and I came here to celebrate our 3 year anniversary early, and we got the hotpot and BBQ buffet, which we highly recommend for anyone who is adventurous and wants the full experience! They offer various selections of red meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables and fruits you've never seen before, and not to mention sauces that you can combine to make your own original sauces for dipping! They also have different marinated meats for the BBQ! Yes, everything is raw, and you have to cook it yourself(everything cooks very quickly, around 3 minutes and some meats only about 30 secs!). Does that seem overwhelming? No problem! Victor and Victoria are incredibly pleasant servers and will be more than happy to help you if you just ask! They know how to make all the good stuff! For the hotpot, you get an option to choose between 2 boiling flavors, a chicken broth and spicy Asian one, or both at once! For the BBQ, you just throw whatever you want in and cook it however you want! Did I mention that the buffet is only $25 per person, and it also includes dessert with a mini selection of ice cream and whatever other things they've cooked? It's hard to get this much bang for your $$$ these days! We will definitely be coming back to this location at some point in the future, and 75 BBQ and Hot Pot Buffet is a place everyone should check out!

The food was really fresh and delicious and we loved the variety! There are so many places that do hot pot OR BBQ Grill, but very few places have both at the same time and also as a full buffet bar. Victor was our waiter he was very friendly and helpful in explaining how the buffet and hot pot worked there and often came back to check on us. We ordered the Spicy Schesuan and Secret Tomato Soup broth along with the House Special made plum drink in the funny cool metal red and white container. Victor said they make it there and best to drink it without ice to help calm the stomach when having the hot pot. It was really good and have a nice flavor to it … kinda tasted like a prune and apple juice blend. We will definitely be back for the explosion of flavor, delicious fresh food, great friendly service and and cool ambiance with all the amber inset lighting on the walls and festive golden Christmas lights above the ceiling that looked like a bunch of stars or fire flies.

Peggy was our host and she taught us how to make the BBQ and shared awesome recommendations! I loved the idea of making ramen my own way, which was delicious. You can even boil your own shrimp and crab legs!! 10/10. Peggy and other staff were very kind and so attentive with refills and asking if we needed anything.

My husband wants hot pot for lunch and I want BBQ. And we found this perfect place. It’s a combination of hot pot and BBQ buffet for $20. I had a BBQ feast! Highly recommend the chili beef and fresh clam. The new chef and owner were super friendly. It seems that a lot of great changes will happen shortly with the change of owner and chef. We will be back!

The staff were amazing and very welcoming. It was a completely welcoming environment and they took care of us. It was my first time and they walked me through step by step so I felt confident towards the end of the night. All you can eat, great music, and amazing clean staff! I WILL BE BACK!

Google
It's nice looking place. Not a ton of meat options for either the hot pot of BBQ. I thought It was quite pricey for what you get. Staff all looked like they didn't want to be there. It's still nice that you get both a hot pot and a grill. Plenty of parking since it's in a plaza like business center. Employees rarely came to check on you. Wont be visint again but still glad I tried it.

Yelp
Did you know the owner changed twice since my last review? Yeah. I couldn't comment on the previous owner because it was short-live months. I dropped by in November to check out the price. That was when I met the new owner. I wanted to host another Chinatown Crawl UYE at 75 BBQ and Hot Pot Buffet in 2024 (repeating the same venue from 2018). I am so glad to see some major improvements. They removed difference pricing for eating hotpot and BBQ. You can dine solo with both at the same price. Few premium items like crab legs, scallops, oysters and beef ribs are sold separately. Most importantly, prices are dropped to be more competitive with other hotpot restaurants in Chinatown. Where else can you dine a lunch for $19.99 or a dinner for $24.99? Ice cream and sauces are included in the price. Another improvement is that they moved sauces to the refrigerated section by vegetables and added hot food at where sauce bar was. Also, I like how they changed where to get the hotpot meats from one freezer. No more taking them by the tray. Compared with previous setup, they improved the freshness and introduced new items. I believe this reduced their cost and passing the savings to the price we pay. Overall, I highly recommend 75 BBQ and Hot Pot Buffet to anyone looking for value and healthier lifestyle. I frequently dine here and brought many foodie friends to eat lunch here. So, you may bump into me one day.

Yelp
This place is fine. Not great, not bad, just fine. Good place to go for a quick no frills BBQ or hotpot fix. AYCE, BYOB A little cheaper than other spots ($24.99 dinner), but less variety. They use parchment paper on the grills for easy cleaning but the meats don't get as charred. Staff was nice and space was clean.

Yelp
Dude, this place is legit. They have snow crab legs, clams, mussels, chicken, beef, pork, crab, shoot, a plethora of sides, everything you could dream of. Be sure to allow yourself ample time (at least 2 hours) as you do cook your own food and have a small griddle. Flavors are out of this world and it is all you can eat! highly recommend if you are a foodie, or have a birthday to celebrate.

Yelp
This was a spontaneous decision to come here. I read the reviews and still wanted to give it a chance so my husband and I came. First in and was greeted promptly and sat down. They didn't hand us any menus, ask for our drink orders and left. I'm assuming we grab anything we wanted and came back to our table where we grill the meats on top of parchment paper. It was a bit strange but we did it anyways. Hotpot was good (on the saltier side if you chose spicy) and the meats were all great quality. My husband Shye enjoys grilling the meats on the parchment paper and he was loving it. The meats turned out amazing. They had a bunch of seasoning and sauces on the side if you wanted to spice things up. Honestly it wasn't a bad experience. I can get why people get confused when entering or not knowing what to do. It would've been a great 5 stars if there were direction, order and labels on the meats and veggies. But other than that we had an amazing time. Will come back when we're craving a hotpot/grill experience.

Yelp
I absolutely love ayce meat places and am always down to try new shabu/hotpot places or bbq spots. So..i decided to give it a try. Food: The meat quality and food options were not that good. There are other better options for ayce bbq or hot pot in my opinion. I did not like it very much. The meat is not tender, it is hard and chewy. Definitely not top quality. I would highly recommend shabu zone for the best ayce shabu shabu / hotpot restaurant. You can check out my review on it! Service: good service. We were the only ones eating there at the time, so the server was helpful and attentive. Ambiance: It was a nice, clean place with lots of seating. No complaints about the place because it was quite clean and modern looking. Very well maintained and nicely decorated. It is not located in the busy parts of chinatown like the main plaza areas; it is more on the off side.

Yelp
First time here at 75 where these is a AYCE option of beef. Seafood, and hot pot items. It is about $30 per person on the weekends. My dad has his birthday there so he ask me to come and check it out. Victor our waiter was amazing. He explained how it all worked and was very attentive to all our needs. Best service ever They have a combination of Korean BBQ and Hot pot fixing. My favorite was the crab legs and the black and white fish cake that had squid ink. It was definitely worth the trip.

Yelp
Have a great selection of meats sea food and vegetables. Also have your choice of four different broths for cooking, best thing is pots are split so can get two different flavors, had a medium spicy then tried the mystery Tomato was great. While the meats are great don't pass up the salad section I loved the seaweed, and kimchi.

Yelp
The parking here can be a challenge, but don't let that deter you. The interior is beautifully decorated and well-maintained. I appreciate the attention to detail in the buffet line - the sauces are contained within their designated containers, and the food is not overstocked. This is a nice change from the usual all-you-can-eat (AYCE) buffet. I was impressed by their seafood preparation. The seafood is kept on ice, which is essential for freshness, and the meats are stored in the freezer. The vegetables are also kept on ice, ensuring they stay fresh. The sauces are well-managed, with no cross-contamination concerns. This restaurant is perfect if you can't decide between BBQ and hotpot. They offer both in a variety of broth options (hot or original) and spice levels. The products are high-quality and fresh. The servers do an excellent job of keeping the dining area clean. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service here. Even though it's not an all-you-can-eat, I would definitely come back. The owner is very friendly and welcoming.

Yelp
It's officially closed. Therefore, this should not be on Yelp. The food is okay, unfortunately it's closed down.

Yelp
This place is cheap at lunch, but it's not really for me. We concentrated on eating a few hot pot items since the barbecue portion wasn't what we were expecting. It's definitely Chinese owned, and the barbecue meats don't taste like Korean marinades. Also, you cook the meat on parchment paper, which is weird but keeps the grill clean. The meat doesn't have the same sear on it because of the paper. It's a pretty restaurant, and service was excellent. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be enjoying a barbecue and hot pot hybrid here again, even though it's a great idea.
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
$31.99 each for dinner. They didn't have any options for small sides or appetizers for those who are not super hungry but are eating out with family so those who weren't hungry didn't eat anything unfortunately. Meat cuts and hot pot broth were all good. Service was on top of it. Indoor is dark and very crammed.

Yelp
It was the first time my family and I went there, overall amazing experience. Helen (manager), Victor (server) and the rest of the employees were so kind and helpful. Helen knowing that it was our first time really made us feel comfortable and appreciated. The food was just sooo good, we left full because the variety there never finishes and it just feels amazing that we can try all types of new foods. The restaurant was beautiful and so well organized. Definitely will be coming back again. Thank you again Helen for being so attentive towards me and my family.

Yelp
Best halal hot pot option in Houston. Buffet had plenty to offer for everyone in our group. Tom yum and tomato sauce is recommended

Yelp
I loved the idea of a bbq and hot pot. I have been checking out a few hot pot places in the last week and I am just comparing so I can find one that encompasses everything I want. This location was smaller than I would like. I am not a spicy food persnickety but with the hot pot I have been. The spicy broth here has been the best I have have since I been trying Shabu. I just wish they had more of a variety with vegetables and meat. I did not like how the " chicken" looked. It looked to close to the frog legs. I also wish they had headless shrimp. Overall I did enjoy the experience and loved that you could buy real crab legs to put in that wonderful broth.

Yelp
Tried this place today and it was just alright. Good choice of meats both for the hot pot and to grill. The bar area is good but not enough veggies to pick from. Only one choice of cabbage and no salad bar. I personally think it's too high $ for the choices you have at other hot pot restaurants. Worth a try if you're into shrimp because they are huge. The spicy broth was just ok with way too many pepper flakes which I personally don't prefer. Didn't like the $66 before tip for 2 people though. Waitress did not explain how it worked until after the fact. All good though.

Yelp
This is a long overdue review. But it's never too late. This place is great for hotpot and BBQ, two (2) things I love, in one place. When you're in Houston, this is the place to go. Be early to be there while they just open. Lots of seafood choices and also fresh veggies for grilling or steaming in the hotpot broth. Hoping there'll be one like this in San Antonio. We drove that far just for this experience, yes, but it's worth it.

Susan J.

Yelp
The food is fresh and the service is great. Ambiance is clear and bright. If you want to eat Korean BBQ,and at the same time you also like Chinese Hot pot, here's a good place.
google avatar

Yelp
Soup and meat were very bland or the extreme opposite and had too much seasoning. I cooked one of the spare ribs and they tasted sour-- as in, they went bad. They handed out coupons from a last visit that stated $20 cash coupon, which is the most confusing coupon I've ever read. When you read the coupon, it looks like it says up to five people, $20 off of done in. Apparently, it has a requirement of 5 or more people and payment must be made in cash. The waiters were even lost in their own words when they started to read the coupon. The service was great-- the waiter and waitress that we had provided excellent service, but the confusion on the coupon and the quality of food just made it unpleasant. AYCE hot pot and KBBQ really is too good to be true. There was a trade off and unfortunately that trade off will make me not want to go

Yelp
Not to be confused with 69 Hot Pot, which is Barbie's place. What's good about this place is that you can do hot pot or barbecue grilling, and you can have them at the same table, which most places don't allow. This is a big selling point, and the reason that a lot of people like it. The quality of the place is top notch, both the Hot Pot and the barbecue meat is good, and the pricing is not bad at all. It's a good catch all for people who can't decide as a group what do they want - hot pot or barbecue (Asian style). So overall I would definitely give it a good rating, and I would definitely return for more.

Yelp
This humble buffet is not in the greatest location but their buffet line is more about quality over quantity. There's sliced lamb, beef, variety of fish balls, mussels, clams, large shrimps, blue crabs, white fish, squid, to name a few for the hot pot. Then there's beef, pork belly, and similar proteins as hot pot but marinated for grilling. There's a good amount of veggies to add to your hot pot and 3-4 different types of noodles. For dessert, there's a delicious coffee cake, fruits, and ice cream(good ice cream not cheap quality). The service was impeccable(tall, nicely groomed, well mannered gentleman with a spider tattoo on his hand). He made sure our table was clean and was on top of removing dirty plates, and tend to our needs. Thank you for your excellent customer service! We appreciate you! We will definitely come back here again.

Kai K.

Yelp
The food is good, good amount of selection, price point is fair as well. The kitchen is constantly stocking up the area to grab food.We were greeted by the manager who is very friendly. I really wanted to like this place but,the con is the male server one with blonde hair with a beard and the other male guy with tattoo black hair.Extremely rude, with attitude as if they don't want you there at all. Don't bother asking for service from them, they do not care and will roll their eyes and make rude faces. Thank you to the kitchen and manager, the only people that seem to care for the customers. Get new servers that want to be attentive and enjoy their job, because these both obviously don't. this restaurant will be great and will grow if these servers weren't so awful. Overall, it's just okay.

Yelp
First of all, the NEW management has completely turned this spot around. Old management chased and kept me away for years. I'm SOOO happy that I decided to come back tonight after so long. The new manager, Helen, greeted us so kindly. She's literally so sweet, I'd come back just to speak with her. I couldn't even wait until I left to write my review. As we speak, she is working so hard to ensure her new restaurant is top notch. Food quality is amazing. Ambiance is beyond beautiful with string lights hung from start to finish. I can't wait to come back here with my daughter! She's going to love the new and improved 75 Hotpot & Buffet
google avatar

Yelp
Overall average dining experience! Not having been to a ton of hot pot restaurants, what stood out to me here was the variety. The dining room is set up like a buffet with a bunch of different meats & veggies to choose from. While I didn't find that the broth itself had a ton of flavor, I did appreciate having the option to cook meat on the grill. You are also able to create your own dipping sauce, which I thought did add some necessary flavor.

Mark P.

Yelp
Totally recommend this place 1000 percent love the food atmosphere love the staff but the spicy sichuan spicy soup is totally worth it. The amount of items are insane
google avatar

Crystal John K.

Yelp
All you can eat Korean BBQ was excellent! The kids loved it and so did we. Definitely will be back again. There was not wait.

Tree P.

Yelp
Really solid option for Korean bbq and hot pot. However, I've never done both at the same time and I don't think I'll do it again. It's too chaotic and just not very satisfying. You don't have to do both and I'd recommend just picking a cuisine and staying with it. There are more options for hot pot than Korean bbq, but both were solid. I especially appreciated the wide variety of sauces and seasoning available. Extensive halal menu and will definitely return but picking just one.
google avatar

Karina T.

Yelp
Only good thing about this place is it allows for grilling and hot pot at same table. There are more items for hot pot, including variety of vegetables, mushrooms, seafood. There isn't as much variety of meats for grilling. The broth contains lots of annatto seeds and it's bitter when bit on. One thing that bugged me big time was when we got our bill, we were charged for 4 adults when I clearly told them only 3 of us were eating. The waiter took it back to the lady owner, she looked our direction, grimaced, fussed and said something to the waiter in an agitated way before going behind the counter to fix our bill. The waiter asked if we told them when we first came in and I said we did, twice- once to the man owner that seated us, then again when the waiter came to our table asking for drinks. Our 4th guest arrived later and didn't even ask for a drink. He sat there the entire time just to chat. With the meat options being below average, customer service being horrible, I will not be back and would not recommend this place ever again.

Yelp
Great value, good food, fun experience! Visited here for the first time on New Year's Day (confirmed that they are open 365 days of the year!) and enjoyed it. It was quite busy at dinner time and a bit cramped, but it was expected. The meal includes unlimited Korean BBQ, along with hot pot... There is a two-hour time limit (and they subtly remind you when your time is almost up by turning off your grill haha), but we ate to our hearts' content. With just the 2 of us, we barely put a dent in the soup! We tried the half & half; my boyfriend enjoyed the spicy broth, while I preferred the lighter one. There are ample choices on ingredients & things to grill, with no upcharges for add on's. We tried a little of everything - crab, shrimps, mussels, pork belly, lamb, beef, and veggies, also experimenting with the different sauces, seasonings, and garnishes. Some ingredients seemed more fresh than others, but there is plenty of variety. Our personal favorite was lamb & beef in the soup, and we enjoyed round after round of do-it-yourself cooking at our table. Worthy of a note: it is a very culturally authentic establishment, so you may encounter a bit of a language barrier (made drink ordering a little bit of a fiasco and some confused looks exchanged when we asked questions). The food made up for it, though! Looking forward to another visit!

Yelp
At first glance, the name implies the best of both worlds. In reality, to me, it was not. I had high hopes of enjoying a meal here. I truly did. Unfortunately, it did not work out that way for me. I was surprised by how little space there was inside. The "buffet" was all along one wall. It started with a section for sauces/spices. I admit, it's a good amount to choose from. Then there were the refrigerated meats in trays stacked inside a cooler. Last, we have a long row of various seafood (on ice), assorted meats, veggies, tofu and three noodle options to be picked with tongs. Dessert options were orange slices and what looked like tiramisu(?). We opted to do half and half for our hot pot - spicy and mild. The mild had no flavor. It was an incredibly bland broth. The blandest of the bland I'd say. The spicy broth was spicy yes but still no flavor oddly enough. I was disappointed in the noodle options. I love egg noodles with my hot pot but there were none. The beef - also bland. The meatballs at least had some flavor but quite frankly with the broth being so bland it didn't do much. This may be where your own knowledge of mixing spices/sauces may come in handy. As for the BBQ portion, we tried some that were pre-marinated and some that were not. I was not impressed either way. I also don't know why we had to grill on top of the paper. I like my meats charred and you can't accomplish that on top of paper! You just can't. It was a disappointing meal for me. I mainly ate because I was hungry and not because I was enjoying it. You know that effect when you're really hungry and finally get to eat, it usually ends up tasting a lot better than it actually is because you were so hungry? Well, that did not happen here. I'm pretty sure we won't be back. If you're great at making your own sauce/spice blends yourself and then cooking them at your table, you'll probably enjoy it here. It's like an AYCE rent-a-kitchen in a way. That's just not for me. I don't mind grilling a bit for myself but I'd like to at least have some good, quality pre-marinated options and some flavorful broth. This place just isn't for me. Others may enjoy it though. It's a great concept truly. I just think it could have been carried out better.

Yelp
This place is decent. It costs $29.99 per person, and it's a mixture of both a hot pot and a BBQ grill for a table. For the hot pot broths, there were only 2 options: spicy or mild. I wish there were more options for the broths, but the taste of both were just okay. As for the meat and veggie options, there were a good selection, but be warned that they are all frozen and not fresh. You can get as much as you want since it's sorted like an all you can eat buffet. The taste of everything was decent; nothing special, but not horrible either. Service was also decent, but the employees basically looked like they just wanted to leave. Decor is okay, but some areas could've been cleaner. For the quality of the place, you basically get what you pay for. If you are on a budget and don't really care about the freshness of the meats and veggies, I'd recommend. If you are looking for a better quality hot pot or BBQ, I wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
Good Place when you craving Hot Pot & BBQ but can't spend too much . It offers a variety of Food . The atmosphere is relaxed . I do like going there

Yelp
new owner, no longer offers lunch price during weekdays at lunchtime. Way fewer ingredients than other hotpot/BBQ places

Robin V.

Yelp
The food was absolutely incredible. All fresh ingredients and the ambience of the place was immaculate. My server Victor was AMAZING!!! Always going to ask for him. He was spot on. No complaints whatsoever! I went today with one of my best friends. It was her first time trying hotpot and grill, and she was so impressed. (I'm probably going back tomorrow) hahaha! I can't wait!!

Yelp
We couldn't decide if we wanted hotpot or bbq and we wanted to try something new since we kept going to the same place everytime we visited Houston. We decided to try it out and we were not disappointed. I enjoyed the fact that i could enjoy hotpot while enjoying the grilled meats (bonus that they had oysters and crab and snow crab). After stuffing our belly's with good food and drink, we decided we would definitely come back.

Yelp
This was our first time and it was amazing! Queenie was our server. She was excellent, friendly, and was very meticulous in explaining how the dining experience works (you get both all you can eat hot pot and all you can eat grill). She personally made some pre-marinade and dipping sauce for the grilled steaks for my entire family. Service couldn't be better!! The meats were fresh and tender. They even have alaskan crabs amd oysters along with clams and mussels. Nice and cozy environment for small groups. The only downside is lack of larger tables if you want to do big group sittings. All in all, will definitely come back!

Truong N.

Yelp
Food is fresh, service amazing need try people!!!! Buffet they used freezing food but this one is fresh and delicious.

Genesis A.

Yelp
Food was great and fresh awesome experience victor and Peggy provided top tier customer service will be coming back !!! The environment was nice clean and delightful

Yelp
It was my second time going here. The tongs were dirty and service was terrible. Our meats were charred because they took forever to replace the paper.

Yelp
Found a long hair in one of the meat platters and a small fly in a different meat platter. Up until we found those in the meats, everything was fine. Decent AYCE selection of meat, veggies, seafood, sauces and noodles. Not pricey either but also not the best quality. But after finding the hair and fly in our food, it made everything so unappetizing. I wish I had snapped photos of it but one of the ladies who worked there was extremely attentive and when she noticed our disgusted faces she came over at the speed of lighting to get the platters from us and quickly mumbled "ok" and sped off to hide the evidence from other restaurant goers. It seems like this happens often because she didn't really apologize or explain herself lol. She quickly got rid of it. Out of sight out of mind I guess.

Yelp
This place is great for groups, and making reservations for large groups isn't that difficult. It's a fun time AND you can do both hot pot and bbq!! It's all you can eat, and relatively inexpensive compared to other all you can eat places. There are two broths to choose from (spicy or not spicy) or you can do both. The variety of meat and veggies was good; just wish they had more noodle varieties too! Food was delish nonetheless! Taking situation: on-site

Yelp
$25.99 for an adult buffet. This price compares pretty well to places like Little Sheep Mongolian Hot Pot. Unfortunately although 75 gets a lot of things right, it also gets a lot of things wrong. First of all, they provide crab in their buffet. If you come hungry and love that sort of food, you can definitely get your money's worth just by sitting there and munching away at crab all day (or for 2 hours anyway). Another great point is that the broth is very customizable. There's a wall filled with different spices and sauces that you can choose from, mix together, and add in whatever quantity you want. The BBQ grill that is built into the table is VERY weak. This means that the meat is cooked for a long time at a low temperature which makes it chewy and inedible. I do not recommend this place for BBQ at all. They also provide a wax sheet on which the meat is cooked and when this is dirty and you ask for another one they say "I don't think you need another one" so there is quite questionable service as well. There are two basic beers on draft which are an extra charge. There's also ice cream which is self serve bu there are only a couple scooping spoons for several different kinds of ice cream so they're all cross-contaminated w/ different flavors. The women's bathroom has a drain on the floor in the center and there was a dead german roach under there.

Yelp
I forgot to take photos. Place is very clean. Hot pot and bbq all in one price. You get to choose spicy or regular broth. I like that the pre-sliced beef are in the trays stacked in the fridge. Bbq marinated well. Kim chi is tasty. A lot of sauces to choose. They have pickled cabbages, too. They have Ice creams, strawberry, berry, coconut. All are good. Victor and the other waitress are very attentive and nice. Everything is fresh. Owner is super nice.

Yelp
My husband and I love coming here. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and very helpful. We love the spicy broth so we always get that. The mild broth is a good base, you can build up the spice to your comfort level using the spice and sauce area. We've brought many of our friends and family and they all love it. Also their ice cream is so good we've never left disappointed!

Yelp
I can't say enough about this place except easily a five star in my book at least. Service is pretty much excellent if not a tad overzealous, the selection of foods in which you get the best of both worlds in hot pot and Korean BBQ will leave you in " oh my god there goes my diet" mode when you finally depart. If you've never eaten here in before you get the best of both worlds in which you get a hot pot and you can select either spicy, mild or half-and-half broth and then you also have the Korean barbecue pit at the same table, I do not see how this place is not busy all the time I just can't get enough of this. There is a spice bar where you can mix and match your spices for your enjoyment on your Meats. To the right of that are two coolers which will render you a selection for your hot pot which is on the left cooler down on the right hand side is for your Korean BBQ. Once you pass the meats you won't bump into more meats and other containers of items for your hot pot. Most of the items are pretty much self-explanatory and all you have to do is look up at the elliptical tape signs and it will tell you what they are. If you try to get in here after 5 on a Friday or Saturday, you might find yourself waiting about an hour, you have been warned. One of the best times to come if you are on a slight budget would be Monday through Friday before 3 because after that you will be charged about another $6 for the dinner price but that is worth it as well since you are allowed to Feast on the crab legs, oysters and shrimp for your hot pot. Another thing I like about this idea is your drinks are included weenie you did not have to cringe when other places charge you almost $3 for a drink so instead of $26.99 it's really about $24. This is community eating meaning this is the best place to take your family and out of town guests. What is. Recommended is group of more than 10 because if the table that is semi-private up front is filled you might not be able to get to sit with your guests since the tables do not move. This is a good recommendation for a first-time date just as long as it's Monday through Friday during lunch or maybe even Monday through Thursday dinner.

Yelp
Thanks to 75, I have a new food obsession: the Chinese hot pot. I went here a few days ago, and I experienced a few firsts that evening -- my first time attending a Yelp get-together, my first time visiting this eatery, and my first time partaking in a hot pot -- and I left stuffed, happy, and impressed. I thoroughly enjoyed the vast array of meats, especially the pork and the beef. Even the lamb was a hit. And don't worry. It didn't make me smell. I made unabashed use of the grill and the hot pot, the former being the huge reason I made the 40-mile trip to this eatery. Mixing my own sauces and seasonings was a fun yet underrated part of the evening. All this in addition to feasting with fellow Yelpers who love Asian cuisine as much as I do. Not even five minutes passed after the first bite, and I was ready to rate the place five stars. I kept telling my fellow guests how my parents would have a blast here. That said, I need to make arrangements for a dining sequel.
