"77 Degrees is a new rooftop bar on Henderson Avenue with stunning views of the Dallas skyline. The rooftop space is inspired by a European vibe and features a variety of seating options, including cushy white loungers, wooden cabanas, massive rope-suspended swings, deck chairs, and hanging egg-shaped chairs. Two bars serve mezcal drinks, and snacks like pulled pork tacos and red snapper ceviche are available. The bar officially opens on August 28 and operates Tuesday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., and from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m. on weekends." - Daniel Rockey

"77 Degrees is set to debut its four-tiered rooftop layout at 2107 N Henderson Avenue in a 13,000-square-foot space. It is designed to evoke rum-soaked evenings in the Caribbean or tequila-fueled nights at a coastal resort in Mexico, with resort-inspired furnishings like cabanas and swings. The drinks menu includes tropical-themed offerings such as Norman’s Cay, Loca Chica, and Chingon!, all priced at $12. The food menu features tapas-style options like tacos, pineapple bowls, and an assortment of dips and light bites." - Alaena Hostetter

Came here on Halloween/Thursday & bottle service was soooo slow not to mention the liquor was obviously watered down (no smell liquid filled almost to the cap of the bottle the picture taken was after we already after we made a few drinks!) which is disappointing considering the bacardi was like $360. The first DJ from 9pm-12 on this day was also horrible. The venue has cutesy places to take pictures and a small view of downtown but overall the place was not impressive. I would NEVER return or recommend.

Google
We had so much fun here during an event. It was a little hot, but all the photo ops made it worth it! The bartender was super cool and we really enjoyed our time. Also: there is an empty lot across the street, park there.

Karmaresh Patel

Google
It offers a decent view of the city skyline alongside a trendy atmosphere and craft cocktails. Trendy and upscale with a tropical feel. Cantilivered decks, swings, cabanas, and neon lights. Offers a variety of seating options, including some more secluded areas on the upper deck. Great place for a night out with friends or a romantic evening with a view. Good crowd. If you're looking for a wide variety of food options, this might not be your first choice, but the drinks seem to be crowd-pleasers

Google
Had a great experience at 77 Degrees! Bartender Michael provided top notch service! The table service was fantastic, and the food hit the spot. Customer service was top-notch, making the visit even more enjoyable. Definitely a great place to hang out and enjoy good vibes!

Google
Cool place to have fun. If you want to dance you can. If you want to chill with your friends and grab drinks, the rooftop is accessible and not loud enough to enjoy conversations. You get to enjoy the dallas skyline as well.

Diego Soasty

Google
I really loved the environment of this bar + there’s no a big line at the entrance!

Mila Volkova

Google
Extremely disappointing experience. We were asked to leave our table without any explanation, even though we were simply sitting and not disturbing anyone. It felt like this happened due to our appearance or accent – there’s no other way to explain such treatment. Completely unacceptable behavior from the staff. If you don’t want to be treated unfairly, avoid this place. 0/100

Google
The place is young. College-Vegas style. A lot of fun! Rooftop bar and club with Great music! I really liked the different levels for different sound volume. Too loud on the main floor to hear a convo? Go upstairs with a great view of Big D and chat.

Caitlin B.

Yelp
Literally a boy bought me and my friend drinks and joked about roofies to us and we went to the bartender (brunette male bartender at the smaller bar on the 2nd floor) and he was so nice and replaced our drinks and made sure we were okay Followed all COVID regulations and still made it a good time 10/10 77 Degrees

Alex B.

Yelp
Much more upscale vibe than the bars surrounding it. Love the atmosphere and decor, but the big downfall was the fact the place just smelled so strongly of weed. I understand that's not the establishments fault, but the fact we were on a rooftop bar and the smell was inescapable was not my cup of tea. We chose to leave fairly soon but may come back earlier in the night!

Yelp
Zero stars. Is the volume of music from rooftop bar '77 Degrees' disturbing and offensive to you? You do not have to accept it, make your voice heard. There are laws about noise disruption and the bar is breaking them. Contact Code Enforcement and your Councillors to have them take action. 2 easy things you can do: 1) Report to Code Compliance. Call 311 or use the 311 app to report the nuisance from a business. Make sure 311 registers it as a noise complaint with Dallas Code Compliance (do not let them report it to the Police. They do not enforce business noise violations and the report will not be acted on. 77 Degrees Dallas 2107 N Henderson Ave Dallas TX 75206 2) Email you councillor Councilor : Jesse Moreno jesse.moreno@dallas.gov Assistant councilor: Brenda Martinez-Del Rio brenda.mdelrio@dallascityhall.com Suggested text if you don't want to compose your own message: Dear Councilors, The Bar 77 Degrees frequently plays music in contravention of Dallas City Code, typically occurring on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings until 2am: "SEC. 30-2. LOUD AND DISTURBING NOISES AND VIBRATIONS PRESUMED OFFENSIVE. Yelp
After hearing all the discrimination talk I was surprised I was let in. And my friend (a black man) was let in with sneakers and they honestly had no choice every other guy was let in with athletic tennis shoes in. Beautiful atmosphere, really nice set up. Service is terrible. We went upstairs to order because it wasn't as many people at that bar. The female bartender wasn't helpful, we asked for menu she said we had to go back down to get it. So we asked what food did they have she said the same thing that we had to go downstairs to see. So we went to the main deck to order food and drinks. We found an empty cabana to sit and our drinks and food were brought to us. Now I can't lie and say the food and drinks were not good. They were great! But for the price the proportion was so tiny and not worth it. The only thing they had available was guacamole and street tacos which was annoying but I did go on opening week so they were obviously not prepared. Nothing spectacular about this place and service not even good. Plus nothing but talks of discrimination so I don't have to come back!

Yelp
Honestly feel the need to update this review after many visits. This place honestly sucks. You can get a good insta pic, sure, but other than that it's trash service, overpriced drinks, and blatant racism (see previous reviews). Also half the time during their opening hours they are closed (pre Covid shutdown weird times). There are much better bars with a view to get a drink and a picture.

Emily S.

Yelp
We drove 45 min because we loved this bar - we get there, and they deny my friend for wearing black pants that weren't "jeans" - people got in with shorts right after. We had a group of 8 and all of us left. Don't give them your business, please

Beans B.

Yelp
You only get one good chance to enjoy this place so use it wisely. The first time I ever went it was enjoyable, a little college-y and trying hard to be a Miami club, but it was generally fun. Every time after that has been a disaster. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Horrible place where your dreams go to die. If your outfit is even slightly adjacent to their "no" list you're not getting in. A member of our group had on a nice jersey for a band and they wouldn't let him in because it was considered "athletic wear" Another time we attempted to go to this place, a member of our group accidentally walked up the wrong flight of stairs to enter - an honest mistake considering they have a couple. They accused us of trying to sneak in the club and told us we were black listed. The behavior from the bouncers is off putting and nothing about this place is enticing enough for anyone to want to sneak in the back staircase that doesn't look like a back staircase. Get over yourselves, this place is NOT it.

Jarvon P.

Yelp
Valet parking only and it's in a sketchy area which could be dangerous for girls. The staff expected customers to go up multiple flights of steps in order to get in and would not allow us to use the elevator unless we were visibly disabled. NEXT.

Taylor S.

Yelp
Someone died here falling off the rooftop on Dallas St. Patrick's day parade. Obviously all the bars were crazy packed, but the owner here chose greed and decided to stay open.

Kaylee M.

Yelp
Visited for the first time for my 21st birthday. My bartender Megan was amazing, made me multiple drinks that were great when i asked for a surprise drink. Made my boyfriend & i surprise shots as well. Everything was great. Dress code is enforced- fancy clothing. not jeans or anything like that. Will visit again!

Chris C.

Yelp
I visited this location on Tuesday, September 3rd. I was wearing a t-shirt, shorts and Nike running sneakers, as the temperature after midnight was still in the mid-80s. There was less than a handful of people in the entire complex, because it was a weeknight. There was nobody checking dress code when I visited. The layout was awesome and the view of downtown Dallas from the rooftop was incredible. I'd like to visit this club during the weekend, so I can get a better idea of how it operates. I'll then update my review accordingly. The drinks were great and the staff seemed nice, but I have a couple suggestions. I'd highly recommend clearly listing dress code expectations on your website. Although, this seems like a classy club, it is outdoors and it can be hot at night. I wasn't sure what to wear or expect until I arrived. Also, these rules need to be applied to all patrons. Dallas is a very diverse city and if this bar isn't accepting of ALL people, I will NOT return. Additionally, the parking situation is kind of confusing. I wasn't sure where to park or if there was any on-site parking. You might also want to list this on your website.

Michelle M.

Yelp
i love the aura here. All types of music played and its a rooftop bar with plenty of space. I went early on a friday night and it was perfect. people pool in around 10 PM. The place is really pretty an you get pretty views of downtown dallas depending on how high you go! Id recommend 8/10

Samuel P.

Yelp
BEST BAR/CLUB I have ever been too! Such a spacious and beautiful place to hangout with your friends and have a great time! Really good music and cheap but TASTY/Huge drinks! I recommend the margarita they gave me Casamigos for just 9$!! Fun place to take picture too with the glowing sign or even on the swings! I loved this place and it gradually kept getting more fun/busier as the night went on! Great option for going out in Dallas if want to avoid deep ellum/uptown areas!

Alan C.

Yelp
Very nice bar rooftop club to enjoy on the weekends. Definitely known by the locals as it is packed. Valet parking available as limited parking around area. Easy to enjoy drinks as there are 4 different bar areas and great scenic views. Drinks are not bad, but not very strong though for the price. I highly advise you to go if with friends or single and ready to mingle. It's a nice place to go during the week for business meetings during the day. The DJ is pretty good and will accept request at times. ENJOY!

John L.

Yelp
Great views and atmosphere. The bartender upstairs was really cool and the drinks were great.

Anne R.

Yelp
I hate this place for 2 reasons: 1) It opened within the same block as a number of apartment and townhome buildings (one that I live in) and the music from the outdoor upstairs bar area blasts 6 days a week until 2am. It's so bad that it keeps me up at night. 2) The 77 degrees manager Eric, their off-duty police officers that run security, and the local police department are all aware of the noise and nuisance this causes for all the nearby residents, yet they do nothing to enforce the city's noise ordinances. I call 311 several times a week and nothing! No PD officer ever goes there to enforce city laws. This business purposely disrespects its neighboring Dallas residents and deserves to be fined every day it breaks the law! The fact that they claim to have "tested their equipment to be within city ordinance" is suspect (see photo evidence of decibel level on Sat night before midnight).

Winta E.

Yelp
This place is cute but has horrible customer service. I went here for a friends birthday. I felt old being there.. I'm 29 years old and I felt like I was at a college party or something. It was way too crowded and it was so hard to get a drink. The bar tenders honestly looked like they were on drugs...The music was trash. I would never come back here.

Maria S.

Yelp
The bartender last night was high on aderall or something. Beligerent, screaming to patrons, pushed someone over the bar. We got up and left before things got nasty. Will not be back until the skater looking bartender is fired. Not worth the drama.

Marshall T.

Yelp
Absolutely trash establishment. The bouncer was on a power trip did not let our friend in because his shorts didn't have belt loops, but then said he would let him in for $20 lmao. The same bouncer also didn't let our other friend in because his ID was expired, and then denied his military ID. Also like everyone mentioned, someone died here and they didn't care. Lastly a vodka Red Bull is $20 lol

Jessica H.

Yelp
JOSH the bartender upstairs gave me a weird Vibe Lmao. I was there Friday night. 7/22. He clearly saw us standing there for a min and kept taking care of everyone else. And when he finally gave us our drinks he seemed kinda mad, like what is the reason!? Lmao. And when he gave us our checks h circled the tip cause it had gratuity and grabbed the check kinda mad LOL. Josh if you're reading this do better boo

Amber X.

Yelp
bartenders are trash here. don't go here, you will get cr*p service and still get a 20% added gratuity to your tab. not worth it at all try another bar.

Jackline D.

Yelp
Do NOT trust the valet service here. They gave our car to the wrong person and when they weren't able to find our car with the ticket they gave us, they told us "oops sorry" and walked always like this wasn't their fault. Please don't ever valet here.

Doug P.

Yelp
Save your time and money. Drinks are bad. Expired beers and horrible mixed drinks. Oh and you have to pay a 20% gratuity for your bad drinks and horrible service.

Mitchell M.

Yelp
Fun club for the mid-20s crowd. Pretty good music and reasonably priced drinks. Great table sections/bottle service. The bouncers, security, bar-staff and bottle girls are always on point! Huge shout out to Jason and Josh the bartenders!! They are rockstars behind the bar!

Amanda O.

Yelp
Overrated and no good vibes, save your time and money and go elsewhere. Very young crowd, wont return

Marcos R.

Yelp
It was completely dead around 11:30pm. Under 15 people at the time. Luckily no security so we brought our own drinks in and didn't have to pay for anything staff were friendly but the place isn't in a busy area so I think that's their first issue.

Fanny Y.

Yelp
This bar has the besg vibes! We celebrated a 21st birthday here and Michael Frazier was the best!!!! He was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed!!! I almost thought he was the bar owner! 10/10 would come again. Make sure you chat with Michael, he has amazing drink reccommendations!!

Jacob M.

Yelp
After walking up and being turned away for two of us wearing a jersey and one wearing a tank top (all three males) that "isn't allowed" multiple women were allowed in with very revealing clothing. We asked to speak to their general manager and then we were physically threatened by one of the bouncers. Then we were told their manager wasn't going to come speak to us. If I could give them 0/0 stars I completely would.

Allison F.

Yelp
Love the space for this place and the outdoor patio stuff! Drink menu is small and appetizer menu is small. A topo Chico alone is $6 which is an literal rip off. I know they are trying to make back the money from being closed but need to be reasonable. The security and bouncers were a bit over the top with the swings and stuff so interested to see what happens with this place.

Shayna F.

Yelp
Horrible, horrible, horrible and I can't say that enough! I went to celebrate my friend's event and was told that some of our party was not allowed in because of their footwear. As we were waiting to enter the establishment, there were multiple others that were able to walk in with sneakers (even though our party was told it wasn't allowed). If you want to have rules, make sure they are consistent across the board. This was a blatant act of discrimination and racism. NO ONE should spend their money here. Not to mention the security at the door was extremely rude! This business needs a business & professionalism 101 class.

Eve R.

Yelp
I'm so glad this bar was open considering Covid! The scenery was beautiful and you could see the Dallas skyline. Definitely recommend to anyone

Camille I.

Yelp
77 degrees is a favorite of mine! Hard to go wrong on the drinks- Mangonada Elotes are bomb too!!

Lula S.

Yelp
2.5/5 review for this new dirty spot So, instead of posting the cute pics I took I will share my mixed reviews for this place. I will say that the staff is really friendly and that the atmosphere is great/ super insta-worthy. The pineapple candy/flaming hot cheetos in chamoy was yummy! However, the all white seats were all dirty & dusty. The staff didn't seem too concerned about cleaning them. VALET is the only parking option for $7....to me it seemed like a rip off due to the actual establishment. There was an INFESTATION of bees swarming around everywhere and everything and the most shocking THERE WAS A BEE IN OUR DRINK Can't say I won't be back to give it another shot but I can say that I will compare having a bee in your drink to finding a cockroach in your food in the fact that it's still disgusting. But hey, if you want a great view of the skyline you could pop in for a photo sesh and leave.

Hayden M.

Yelp
Yeah, sick spot.. lol you better come dressed to impress at this outside bar in DALLS, TX. Summer temps get up to 100 degrees, if you're wearing Birkenstock's, forget about it. Loser at the door wouldn't let me in with the group of 10 I arrived with. Also, I have been up to the bar in the past, it's overcrowded, understaffed, and the worst Miami bar imitation in the world. Yeah I'm salty because they wouldn't let me in with my sandals. Fuck this place.

Kevin R.

Yelp
Michael Frazier is the best bartender of the year, great service all night! I had a group of 15 friends in town served us all night without a as my issues

Jerome J.

Yelp
Michael Frazier gave my group and I absolutely incredible service. Almost felt like we became best friends when we went! Incredible human that made the bar feel like a million bucks.

Dylan E.

Yelp
Michael was the best manager all night. He was kind and took care of every order. Hands down best club in dallas

Rebecca S.

Yelp
Who came up with the concept for this place?!?! This is an ALL OUTDOORS bar. Absolutely NOWHERE warm to seek shelter on a cold and rainy evening. There are only like 2 days out of a year where the weather is actually nice enough to go to a place like this in Texas.

Haylie R.

Yelp
LOVED THIS PLACE. Jamie was the greatest thing since sliced bread, she made our experience amazing. Drinks were great and music was lively. Highly recommended and will for sure be returning. Make sure to ask for Jamie, she is kind, attentive, and so cheerful. Loved the vibe and the overall experience.

Angelica C.

Yelp
This place was horrible. For starters they need to hire better door people. My boyfriend and I went last night and we waited in line patiently but then everyone just started cutting in line. When we got to the front the kids and yes I called them kids because you can just tell they were underage and had fake ids. Plus them talking about it in line gave it away. But we were shocked as we saw TONS of them getting in. Once we got in it was very beautiful. Great view and all. Just the crowd and music wasn't it.

Rachel M.

Yelp
Cool new rooftop concept to move to DFW. Upon attending Friday night of opening weekend, it was jam packed with the usual club crowd and seemingly a younger college age. Loved that it was massive, it can be fun to get "lost" in the crowd. Also very pleased with all the seating. The bartender was extremely fast despite the insane crowds. Waited in a short 2 min line when we arrived around 10:30. The line to get in at 12am was around the building, not worth it in my opinion if I would have came at that time. Wish the music could be louder for dancing, felt as though it was quiet in certain further areas. Also some of the potted plants were in inconvenient walking paths and had people stepping over strangers non stop over by the massive DFW sign.

Andrew R.

Yelp
The bouncer told me that my gray vest with nothing underneath was not allowed because it was sleeveless. Two seconds after this, they let about five other people presenting as females in that were wearing tank tops. I went back to ask the other bouncer why this rule was a thing and was given the answer, "I don't know, I just started working here in March." If you're going to enforce a rule, enforce the rule and be knowledgeable enough to be able to explain why you're enforcing said rule. An unfortunately bad experience to an otherwise great weekend. Hopefully other bars in Dallas won't be as disrespectful and unprepared when dealing with their patrons!

Andrea D.

Yelp
The treatment or lack thereof from staff was repulsive towards patrons from stepping foot on the premises. I don't or won't recommend this establishment to anyone that values good customer service and his or her hard earned dollar. They definitely left a bad first impression. The owner needs to correct this issue ASAP unless they too agree with this type of behavior and if so thanks for letting the rest of the world know! Parking isn't all that great & the food subpar but possibly because issues arose prior to entry.

Peyton L.

Yelp
Awesome vibes at this place! The staff is amazing and Jamie went out of her way to make sure our group was taken care of! Will definitely be back for the friendly staff and beautiful view of downtown.

E L.

Yelp
I love this place! The atmosphere is like Miami vibes! The drinks are a little over price but I guess that's what you pay for with the views and pretty people there. Our bartender jay z? Was amazing! She was super friendly and didn't hesitate to make us some cool shots for our birthday girl! It gets super packed after 11:30 so get there before then to beat the line. They have a strict shoe dress code but are accommodating if you're nice to the staff

Alyssa S.

Yelp
Fire chase. He is so rude and ignored what i had to say at the bar about my tab. Just plain rude.

Shannon D.

Yelp
Went here with a group of friends for drinks on Friday night - at first we thought it was a great spot. Little did we know we would rub elbows with high schoolers using fake IDs and pick pocketers would run away with our belongings as the night progressed. Tried talking to the police outside to report stolen items and even they know this bar is such a mess they said they wouldn't address it until morning.

Elektricitee T.

Yelp
First time going last night. I was worried I was underdressed as I had on a light jacket, jeans and converse on. However, bouncers were super cool & friendly (I think his name was Don)?! The environment is super sexy, the rooftop views are overlooking the downtown skyline. Got quick and friendly service from the bartenders too. A scuffle happened and slightly interrupted our gathering, after the bouncer escorted the overly inebriated gentleman out he came to check on us to ensure we were all ok. That stood out a LOT to me and I appreciated the care and extra attention.

Markel L.

Yelp
I went last night for the first time. The guys didn't valet my car for some reason, told me to park on the street which was fine no biggie. Walked up the stairs to one of the most beautiful places I've seen in Dallas. I really thought I was on some resort in Cuba or Miami... Wasn't many people which was perfect. Sat at the bar the lady bartender was simply the best. I wish i still had my receipt I would shout her out. But her Wednesday night she was there. The presentation was good and the drinks was pretty good. The kitchen was closed so I didn't get a chance to try the bites. Also It was good to see a place where the Owner was there.. Definitely coming back with my friends. Also thinking about being a DJ there :)
