7g Roaster Apartments & Restaurant

Really cool, trendy, and vibey, cute place. I came here to wind down and have a good cup of coffee on the weekend. And I was positively surprised, the staff is really friendly, and the manager is really kind. They have a no laptop policy on weekends - JFYI

We had a wonderful time in a studio apartment. Close to everything in Vila Nova de Gaia, with plenty of options for food and drink, beautiful views of Porto across the river, yet only about 15-20 minutes walk to its famous sights.|Everything that you might need for a good stay was there - very quiet room, comfortable bed, TV, great internet, nice shower, toiletries, well-equipped kitchenette with great coffee, bottled water provided, very good breakfast in the cafe below, enormous basket of goodies left for us in the apartment before our early morning flight, parking spot in the garage on the same street (15 euros per day). |Everything was excellent, thanks to the nice people who work there! |Bernardino was especially helpful, replying to all of our questions and requests within minutes, providing full details and explanations, and just being a very nice kind man.|Thank you!

This restaurant is a true gem! It’s very cozy and tucked away on a charming street just around the corner from the busy riverside promenade along the Douro. The service is excellent, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The coffee is fantastic too. It’s a perfect little spot to escape the crowds and the heat — I love it!

These apartments are close to the river front, just back up an alleyway which makes them quiet enough to be hidden but close enough to be in the heart of the city. We visited this morning to use the cafe 7g roaster. Lovely cafe in a contemporary design. They do pastries, eggs Benedict, royale and florentine. We had Benedict and a granola/fruit yoghurt bowl along with a cappuccino each. Really welcoming staff, and a good vibe. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Well priced for tourist centre and pushing a sustainable coffee vibe. Well worth a visit for breakfast in Porto

We stayed here for our last night in Portugal- the room was spotless, very aesthetic, had a small kitchen with stove, microwave and a fridge, washroom was clean with a big shower. When we checked in we told the receptionist that we were sad to miss the breakfast the next day as we had an early flight to catch, they told us they would leave a basket for us. I did not think this meant they would bring us everything that they usually serve for breakfast! We were very pleasantly surprised and were very grateful. We would 100% recommend this place and their cafe, and we would love to stay here next time we come to Porto!

A modern coffee roastery with a beautiful interior. We were here on Halloween, and they had lovely decorations. The coffee was great, and we also had breakfast — eggs royal — which I recommend. A special plus for the waiter, who was very friendly and positive. I definitely recommend this roastery.

We found this outstanding coffee shop wandering around, and we were delighted by our experience. Excellent coffee, excellent food and happy workers with the kind of cheerfulness we love to see from people in the service industry. It’s getting to be rare to find upbeat personalities and smiling faces these days. 7g has this team!! 😎

Review for the restaurant: One of the best coffee shops in the region in my opinion. Also.. An excellent place to have brunch. We had the brunch for two it included 2 coffees of your choice and 2 orange juices, croissants, avocado toasts, cheese and ham, pancakes all for 28 euro.
