The New Atlanta Restaurant Openings You Should Know About - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"The team behind the popular supper club Bovino After Dark and the Vine Wine Club collaborated to bring an omakase cocktail experience to Adair Park. We've already declared our love for Tiger Sun (a similar concept in a vintage bus), so we're excited to see how 7th House stacks up." - juli horsford, jacinta howard

7th House - Review - Adair Park - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"When you want something novel to kick off an evening, all the stars point to Adair Park’s 7th House, an omakase-style cocktail bar with a campy, horoscope-theme. Walk-ins are welcome on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, otherwise you'll need a reservation to secure your seat around the eight-seat counter. The setup is pretty intimate, so you'll have to tune out that couple arguing about emotional availability, so you can tune into the three cocktail courses, which are solid. Depending on the featured zodiac sign, you might get a sweet-leaning but balanced peach-mango shrub vodka cocktail or a smooth martini topped with a salty-cheesy feta. The menu changes weekly with no repeats, so you’re looking at 85 unique cocktails a year, your bartender might brag. Just make sure you have dinner plans after since the three savory dessert bites aren't stealing any attention from the drinks. They're interesting but just fine—like their briny Low Country boil brûlée. Do get the $15 General Tso’s lion’s mane mushroom add-on, which is the best bite on their menu." - Jacinta Howard

As the kids say, I’m a full-on Stan for @bovinoafterdark —stunningly creative, insanely delicious, and refreshingly unpretentious. It’s always a good time! So as a spirits girlie you know I was hyped for @xelanow ‘s newest venture, @seventhouse - a zodiac-inspired omakase where cocktails and bites align with the stars. Set in an intimate, moody atmosphere, this three-course cocktail and bite pairing is crafted by the same team - Bovino’s Executive Chef @saltyourfood_atl & Chef @earth_2_mikey along with the newest fam member, Beverage Director, @_nocturnalhabits . And just like at Bovino, the setting allows for easy interaction with the team—which meant I got to nerd out on techniques, ingredients, and concepts with the magician behind the bar, Trenton Austin (who may have even let me in on a secret ingredient in his signature Negroni.) The omakase evolves with the zodiac, with each menu inspired by the element of the current sign. Every season brings a fresh lineup, so no two experiences are the same. Not in the mood for omakase? No problem—you can still pop in and order from the drink and supplement menu (reservations required for the omakase, but not for à la carte). Pro tip: If you’re a steak lover, do NOT skip the koji-aged bone-in ribeye—straight from Alex’s farm, and absolutely unreal. Oh, and Trenton? He’s the truth. Don’t sleep on Seventh House. Cheers!

Located in Atlanta, 7th House is a cocktail bar created in collaboration between Bovino After Dark and The Vine Wine Club, offering a retro-chic and mysterious cocktail experience✨. The bar features soft lighting and rich aromas, making you feel like you're under the stars🌌. Each reservation includes 3 specially crafted cocktails (with the option of non-alcoholic ones🍹) and 3 exquisite small bites🍴, priced at $84 (including an 18% tip💵). The entire space is filled with astrological elements🔮, and the theme revolves around the four elements: Fire, Earth, Air, and Water🔥🌍💨💧, creating an immersive experience that’s both classic and mystical🍸. The cocktails here are incredibly creative. Bartender Trenton recommended the Amused Booze, a concentrated nitro cold brew☕ that’s sweet yet energizing, topped with gold dust✨—a visually stunning and delicious drink that perfectly kicked off the night🌙. The first cocktail that followed was the 13th Ring, which combines rum, pineapple, honey, cashew, lime, and sparkling wine🍍🍯. It has a mix of spicy and sweet flavors, with a savory note from the cashews, creating a rich and refreshing taste that feels like Thai food🇹🇭—unique and delightful. While enjoying these cocktails, the small bites were equally impressive: Chinese Mustard Ice Cream: The horseradish ice cream has an onion flavor, paired with salty crispy bits at the end, very unique😋. The duck confit chips bring to mind Chinese snack flavors🍜. Chicken Liver Mousse: The mousse, paired with strawberry gastrique and granola, is rich in flavor but not too gamey💥. It’s served with Japanese house bread, which, although mild in taste, complements the mousse perfectly, adding texture🍞. French Onion Creme Brulee: The rich onion flavor blends well with the concentrated onion soup taste🍲, and there’s a subtle hint of bonito flakes, giving it an almost burger-like flavor🍔—but without any actual burger meat, creating a uniquely intriguing taste🎉. The following cocktails also left a strong impression: Quick Whit: A bourbon cocktail with apple, walnut, and cinnamon🍏🌰, smelling wonderfully smoky. However, the taste doesn’t match the intrigue of the scent, feeling somewhat flat🥴. Casper & Pollux: A bold, sweet drink made with duck fat-washed vodka, apricot-infused gin, and house-made vermouth, fresh yet strong with a clean, crisp water-like feel💧. After enjoying these drinks, we tried All Hands on Deck, made with cognac and honey, accented with green tea🍵 for a smooth finish; and Check Under Your Seat, a bourbon-based drink with rye, rum, chicory, and cherry🍒—round and smooth, with a noticeable cherry aroma that was intoxicating🍷. Bartender Trenton’s creativity and skills are truly remarkable👏. The cocktails use techniques like fat-washing and infusion, adding depth and complexity to every drink, making them worth savoring🤩. In conclusion, 7th House is the perfect place for an immersive experience, with its theme based around the four elements: Fire, Earth, Air, and Water🔮. If you’re a fan of cocktails, this bar is definitely worth checking out—don’t miss it🥂!

This was such a cool experience. I came for my birthday and they made me feel so welcome and special. The decor is very cozy with spacey vibes. The food was very unique and delicious and the cocktails were crafted so well and had very interesting tasting notes. They change their menu every zodiac season, so I'll definitely be back to try the new flavors next month. The bartender and the chef were both very warm and informative and passionate, which was awesome to see. Its a little hidden, but a gem of a find. Loved it.

I didn’t know how it would turn out, but I put my trust in the Seventh House to help me with an incredibly special night. From the first interaction, their team was professional, collaborative, and offered thoughtful suggestion. As a former bartender, I have a high bar for original cocktails, and they knocked it out of the park. True artists delivering on unusual creations with a dense knowledge of flavors and textures. If you want an intimate, original experience worth the price of admission, Seventh house should be on your list.

The cocktail and bite omakase experience at 7th House is unlike anything else in Atlanta, brought to you by the team behind Bovino After Dark. They push the boundaries of flavor and creativity with the use of various fermentation techniques and molecular gastronomy. The menu is inspired by the elements—earth, air, water, and fire—and evolves each month based on the horoscope, a celestial experience for the senses with lots of Side of Sparkles edible glitter ✨ . There are also supplemental dishes to turn the night into a full dinner (don’t miss the local farm raised steak—check out the video! 😮) and enjoy plenty of opportunities for a caviar bump, because why the heck not! 100% recommend for a unique date idea in Atlanta. Plenty of parking here too!

This place is super cool. Great vibes, super knowledgeable staff, fun theme (go in for your astrological sign and learn way more than you thought!). The pairings were delicious and drinks thoughtful and creative. Trenton is awesome!

Adventurous and creative dining in an intimate environment. We seek out excellent cocktails and I can say without reservation that Trenton Austin creates some of the most interesting and complex cocktails I have ever had. Anything but basic, they are innovative and well executed. Definitely a special birthday experience.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this bar. My friends and I ordered three cocktails, and all of them tasted terrible—completely off and undrinkable. When we politely asked the bartender if we could have them remade, he reacted with visible hostility and acted as if it was outrageous that anyone would question the quality of his drinks. Without our consent, he replaced the drinks with three more that were just as bad, and then charged us $17 each, even though the menu clearly listed all cocktails at $15. When we questioned the overcharge, the waitress dismissed our concerns and falsely claimed that $15 was just the base price and that any cocktail could have an undisclosed upcharge—something that was never communicated on the menu or by staff. This experience was not only unprofessional but also felt like a deliberate attempt to take advantage of us. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other bars where the staff are respectful, transparent, and know how to make a decent drink.

Yelp
I found out about this place from a local influencer and that post couldn't come at a better time since we had dinner in the area, so we checked out this place. It was so cute and cozy when you walk in, it's not very big but we were able to snag seats at the bar. It's called 7th House because it's based off astrology. Their menu rotates every astrological sign change, so we caught the last day of Aries. All of their drinks had some sort of fiery component because Aries is a fire sign. However, I opted for an espresso martini. This was a PROPER espresso martini with the right amount of sweetness and coffee flavor and liquor; truly one of the best and I've had lots of espresso martinis. Their cocktails are about $15, so not too pricey. The bartender was lovely and really knows his stuff. I asked if they had a digestif and he brought me 3 options though I forgot what the other two were, my fave was the Cynar. This was certainly a cool find and would be coming back here soon. They also have food but I believe requires reservations.

Yelp
My friend and I went for the love island watch party. Overall the place was very intimate and I liked how small it was for that type of event. I wasn't a fan of the food. The oysters with coconut milk and cucumber ice felt like it was a little underwhelming in taste along with the fried mushrooms. The menu was over complicated to be underwhelming.
