7th St. Entry

I can't believe I've been going to concerts in Minneapolis (as an adult) for 18 years and I've never been to 7th St. Entry before! It's such a fabulous and intimate venue. I cannot wait to return.

I've known about this venue and its rich history for majority of my life but have never seen a show here while I've seen a dozen shows at First Ave. As a first time at the Entry, I was really blown away with the quality of my experience from bartender service to the sound quality to the quality of the restrooms. There was a little bit of wiggle room during the opening band but as the show got closer to the headliner the more the venue got packed. Really loved the intimate setting that this venue provided and the comradery of my fellow concertgoers. The bathrooms here are much better than First Ave given they offer much more privacy albeit at the cost of longer wait times to get in. Sound was perfect all night for every band which from my experiences elsewhere can be a struggle in very small venues. I would to come back for more concerts here at the Entry.

AMAZING VENUE. Extremely kind and welcoming staff. Free water and plenty of space for bands to set up merch and for people to sit between sets.

7th Street Entry is one of the best small, intimate venues in the Cities. It’s connected to First Avenue, and you can catch surprisingly big names in a tight, up-close setting. Great vibe — always an awesome place to see a show.

I've seen countless shows at the entry. The sound is always awesome and it never disappoints! Always a great time!

Intimate venue perfect for seeing any artist up close and personal. Places to sit and a dance floor. Bar inside. Great beer selection. Great sound quality. Restaurant next door makes for an easy date night.

Bar service was amazing. Saw Vérìté and it was a wonderful set however the opener dealt with a lot of technical difficulties that was in no way their fault which was disappointing. Everyone that worked there was kind and helpful, a girl passed out in the front row next to me and everyone was quick to pause the show, get to her, and get her water and out to the back. The audio was great for such a cute little venue, highly recommend.

A really cozy little venue with great sound and surprisingly robust lighting. Where this venue gets let down is its ventilation. When the building is as full as it was when I was there, it gets real stuffy real quick. Plan on drinking lots of water and dressing light.
