7th Street Burger Is Expanding to Brooklyn | Eater NY

"I see 7th Street Burger still riding the city’s smash-burger wave: it began with a single East Village location in 2021 and grew to 11 shops across Manhattan and New Jersey within two years. Owner Kevin Rezvani says he’s signed leases for two Brooklyn storefronts — one in Downtown Brooklyn at 400 Jay Street at Willoughby Street and another in DUMBO at 17 Old Fulton Street near Front Street — with a Williamsburg location also in the works, though no opening dates have been announced." - Eater Staff

Google
They offer free fries for a review- so keep that in mind! I did not take that offer though. This is for sure a place I could come to a million times. The burgers are finely sized- nothing huge, which is nice. They're also tasty, and their sauce is DELICIOUS. The fries are very basic, but I also ate them all... but still maybe some seasoning would have been nice! They really only have a burger, fries, and drinks- and it's rather inexpensive. About $11 for the burger, and fries.

Visited this location yesterday afternoon with the fam. We initially came for an event and decided to purchase additional food. We purchased crispy fries, double cheeseburger and loaded beef fries for the kiddos on our heels. Of course we added a couple of Mexican cokes for them as well. Since this locations has seating we grabbed the large table in the back for all four of us to sit. Unlike other locations, the Dumbo location, has a larger floor plan and a restroom. As we sat the gentlemen, Miguel, whom took our order, brought all our food to us. He was genuinely kind and pleasant. Overall a good location with a great staff. The kids enjoyed their food. Just A Note: -The Impossible Burgers have GREEN wrapping (green=plant) and the Beef Burgers have RED wrapping (red=red meat).

7th Street Burger is a small, super clean spot in the East Village. The staff was warm and welcoming, and everything is made to order. The smashed patty burger was juicy and nicely seared, though a bit smaller than expected. The fries were perfectly crispy and came in a generous portion. Bonus points for the retro bottle opener on the wall — loved that little touch.

Google
So much better than expected. Burgers and fries tasted like classic burgers with just the right amount of grease. The onions, cheese and special sauce were great. The fries were good and portions size was large than expected. We got the cheeseburger, fries and jalapeño burger and they were all great. They have Mexican coke as well. They had a good amount of seating and a washroom which was good if you're only visiting quickly. I also loved that it wasn't counter seating so that the grill wasn't too hot and the AC was bumping!!

The appearance and packaging were extremely greasy—the package was literally covered in oil—but the taste was absolutely amazing. Definitely worth trying. Strangely, despite being greasy, it felt light and didn’t cause any discomfort. I will definitely eat it again.

Google
The burgers are good but they are too tiny. The single patties are worth it but double isn't imo. You can actually eat the whole burger in like 3 bites. The loaded fries were amazing though.

I stopped by the new 7th Street Burger in Dumbo for Elite Week. To start off if you’ve been to any other 7th street burger locations in nyc this one is on theme. Interior wise it’s spacious. They have a good amount of seating whether you want to stand up or sit down. Also, there’s additional public seating outside. When I arrived to the counter the people there were really helpful. I was able to order smoothly. I got the single patty Smashburger, fries and a water. You can’t go wrong with a classic 7th street burger. The sauce they put was good. The fries were fresh too and pair well with ketchup. Experience here was good. Plus it’s in a nice scenic area so I think it’ll be very successful. Glad I was able to check it out.

Google
Yummy and juicy smash burgers, the jalapeno one wasn’t really spicy and was actually the same taste with the regular one. Amazing fries too. We got our order and went down to the river (took like 3 minutes) and enjoyed our meal with the NYC view at it’s best.

Yelp
The burgers and fries, are always consistent in every location. Dumbo 7th street burger didn't miss!! Staff were super friendly . A small location with afew tables and stand up tables. Inside was clean and well maintained. I even went to the bathroom lol and that was clean, neat as well. Overall, as always great burger spot. The location looks like more for the neighborhood because parking was extremely difficult. But no problem, if I am ever in Dumbo, I definitely will stop over for a burger.

Yelp
I was thinking about this burger the entire time when I was on the rooftop of one hotel..... Safe to say, it did not disappoint me The price, you really can't go wrong. The fries were also super crispy If you're in the area looking for a quick delicious bite, would deff recommend!

Yelp
I visited 7th Street Burger - DUMBO, as part of a yelp event, which I flew out from Chicago Illinois for. Ever since my initial visit to the 7th Street Burger - Park Slope location over a year ago where I had my first taste of 7th Street Burger, I have been yearning to revisit New York for it. The yelp event was my opportunity, so I took my chances and here I am. As a first-time visitor of DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass), it was fun locating 7th Street Burger DUMBO and getting sidetracked by the beauty of the area. I clocked extra steps which was likely a good thing because I noticed the tightness of my jeans during the walk; and let me tell you this! The tightness isn't' from all the Peloton bike rides I have done since being in New York; it is from the food, tehehe. Acknowledged immediately upon walking in and up to the counter by the server, Juan J. The menu was easily displayed! It made my day knowing that 7th Street Burger has the Impossible burger (vegetarian) option which was what I had last time I visited 7th Street Burger being that I am a vegetarian. It ended up being what I ordered along with fries, and a Mexican Sprite. I really enjoyed the fries which were the first thing I started eating immediately! It was fun emptying them out of the bag, so that I could capture pictures of them alongside the Impossible burger which was neatly wrapped. The fries were crispy, well-seasoned and very delicious! And "Mmm", I enjoyed the taste of the Impossible burger which had the appearance of a Steak 'n Shake steak burger! It was served with grilled onions, American cheese, pickles, and house sauce which complemented its taste very well. It was great being able to dine-in this time unlike my visit at the Park Slope location over a year ago. At this location, there were enough tables with seats inside that allowed me to do so. With me having visited 7th Street Burger during each of my visits to Brookly NY, it makes it hard for me to not revisit any 7th Street Burger location whenever in Brooklyn. I would indeed return to this location when visiting DUMBO. ~Have courage. Be Kind. ~ Thomas G

Yelp
Like the three other 7th Street Burgers' that I have patronized, the service was professional, customer-forward, and very friendly. The restaurant was very clean, and basic. I thought about the formula for 7th's success... no frills, good juicy beef or impossible burgers, double or single, really good fries, a signature sauce and TA-DAAAA!!!! Been a fan, but now I have another location to visit.

Yelp
Excellent service and happy staff. They are quick and make delicious burgers: I tried their double impossible burger and loaded jalapeno fries which is 7th Street's latest addition to their menu. Very hefty and reasonable. The space itself is large with a nice amount of seating for customers who want to dine in. Family friendly. My only complaint would be the restroom: no toilet paper and quite dirty. Accepts cash, card and Applepay. Bathroom available. Takeout and dine in available. Nearby park and a 10 min walk from public transportation. Bon appetite!

Yelp
We walked into 7th Street Burger and the establishment immaculate! The seating reminded me of a mix of cafeteria style and a 50s diner feel due to the color scheme. I dont eat beef, so I was thrilled to know that there were vegetarian options. The gentleman who took our order was friendly and immediately took our order. My friend and I both opted for the spicy jalapeño impossible burger along with the regular fries. I loved the fact that my sprite was in a bottle and not a can. Reminded me of how they serve soft drinks in the Caribbean. When our names were called to pick up our order, we laid out our food to enjoy. Their impossible burger was the best I have ever tasted! It was packed with flavor!! The fries were cooked to perfection...hot off the press; crispy on the outside while soft on the inside. Next time I return, I will go for the double impossible burger. P.S. The burger isn't huge but let me tell you...that meal filled me up until the evening!

Yelp
Like all the other 7th street burger, this location has the same streamlined menu of smash burgers and fries. The food always hit! As a primarily take out spot I was pleasantly surprised by their seating. So many of their other locations hardly have any and this one had 8 tables inside.

Yelp
Flavor bomb in a bun! Stopped by 7th Street Burger and wow -- I'm officially a fan. The service was amazing; everyone was super friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. The vibes were great too -- chill, upbeat atmosphere that matched the food energy. I got the cheeseburger and it was chef's kiss -- juicy, flavorful, and that special sauce? Game changer. The bun was perfectly toasted (not soggy at all ) and the meat tasted super fresh. My friend got the Impossible burger and literally couldn't tell the difference -- that's how good it was. And don't even get me started on the fries... crispy AF! To top it off, the location is clutch -- perfect for grabbing your food and heading to a nearby spot for a little picnic. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Heard so much about 7th Street Burger and I've seen other locations so I was happy to see a location open up in DUMBO recently. The neighborhood is kind of a food desert so anytime a new restaurant opens up, it's greatly welcomed for a new option. The location space is not too big and seating is pretty minimal. The menu is pretty small -- I tried their double spicy jalapeño cheeseburgers and fries several times. Every order is made to order so there is a bit of a wait but food is hot and greasy off the grill. The burgers are simple yet juicy and delicious. The jalapeños create the perfect balance to the greasy burger. The fries are amazing -- the best you can get in DUMBO to be honest (way better than Shake Shack fries on the small block). Would like to try the loaded fries next time.

Yelp
I went to the new 7th Street Burger location with my friend and we both really liked the food! I'd never been to any of their restaurants before and I was so impressed! I ordered the impossible burger (vegetarian) and French fries, and it was pretty perfect! The burger was a great smash burger and the cheese was nice and melt, I also really loved the house sauce and thought it was a tasty compliment to the rest of the burger. The fries were very crispy and tasty, I like my fries with a crunch and they fit the bill for sure. There was a fair amount of seating inside and it was very clean! They also got our food to us very quickly. Overall I would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Regular fries 10/10 The cheeseburger was just okay. Nothing really special. The patty was decent, but it lacked that juicy, flavorful punch you expect from a great burger. The bun and toppings were standard, and overall it just felt kind of basic. Not a lot of food options either. If I had to compare it to somewhere like Five Guys, there's a noticeable difference. Five Guys burgers are much more flavorful, with that fresh-off-the-grill taste and customizable toppings that actually feel satisfying. This one just didn't have the same quality or wow factor. It's not bad, just wouldn't go out of my way for it again.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of eating at 7th Street Burger. The service in the restaurant is great. Best customer service ever. The gentlemen at the front Miguel introduced my friend and I to a sauce that was so small we didn't see it on the menu. The name is ghost pepper sauce. It was delicious as was the entire meal. The restaurant is clean and has a bathroom that is clean. I'll be coming back again.

Yelp
The double burger was excellent. Very oily but tasted great with the house sauce. What is even better is the loaded fries though. Would recommend

Yelp
Hits every time. This DUMBO location is prime real estate: across the street from the new L&B, next to the BK pizza giants and DUMBO stalwarts Juliana's and Grimaldi's, and a couple doors from Shake Shack - a plethora of options. But for a quick bite, you have to stop in at 7th Street Burger. Service was quick and efficient. In and out with burger in-hand, ready to take on Brooklyn Bridge Park, in under 10 minutes.

Yelp
Typical fast food burger with heavy fries. Yes it's good and pretty quick but also heavy in oil. Still worth getting if in need for a quick burger

Yelp
I love me some 7th Street. Always consistent with good service. I never get tired of their burgers.

Yelp
$40 for a meal for 2. Two double cheese burgers, animal fries, and sodas. Overall the food was quite good but a bit greasy. I would say for the price, it's not bad but not something I'd have often.
google avatar

Yelp
Already want to go back for more beef loaded fries. Clean, friendly service, with seating, hand sanitizer, and a bathroom. Not sure if the only water they have is bottled water for purchase.

Yelp
somehow hadn't made it to one of these yet and did this week. loved it! the burger is yummy, the fries are crisp and the staff is incredibly funny and friendly! cant recommend stopping by inside for a quick lunch enough - the vibes are nice.

Yelp
7th Street Burgers never disappoints. This new location is no exception. Had the impossible Burgers and they were Great impossible burgers. Loved it, and will definitely return again

Yelp
I cant believe I almost skipped this place. The food is so good and greasy. Staff were friendly and it wasn't packed at all. The house sauce is SO GOOD I COULD DRINK IT.

Lauren S.

Yelp
7th street can always be counted on to deliver a delicious smash burger. their loaded fries (ask for fries animal style) are always a nice pairing for your burger - it's an entire smash patty on top of a generous portion of fries with cheese, grilled onions, and special sauce. beware though - this burger is very greasy and will leave you in a food coma
