First burger I ate in NYC and the last one I ate before I left - genuinely 10/10. Super soft, amazing fresh taste with the warm cheese. Staff are quick and friendly, will even bring the order over if you are sat down waiting. Best burger in Manhattan area for a good price. Highly recommend if you're struggling to find a quick bite and don't want heavy fast food.

The Burgers are absolutely delicious! Nice and simple and very tasty. The staff are friendly. Some tables and seats are available if not too busy. And most importantly cash is accepted.

The Double Cheeseburger here actually exceeded the high expectations. The patties, cheese, and bun converged into one of the best fast-food burger bites I’ve ever had. My wife got the vegetarian burger and I’ve never seen her finish a meal that quickly! ​There was a bit of a wait, but the staff was great and warned us prior to ordering, so we knew what to expect. Easily some of the best burgers in the city.

This burger was so good, the flavours were all there! I’d have liked a little more crust on the patty, just to get more texture since the bun was so soft as well. Will definitely come back!

Stumbled here after a party because one of the only late night joints opened nowadays near fidi. There was a line and crowds of people inside even at midnight. The burger was juicy but a little oily and salty IMHO. The fries were very good, as it super crispy and had the potato-y flavor without being too oily!

Food here is consistent with their other locations in Manhattan. Burger is small and slightly greasy. The loaded fries with house sauce is somehow better than the burger itself. Small area to dine in and most people do takeaway. One of the better late night options in this part of town.

The flavor was good, but nothing mind-blowing. They were also a bit greasy and definitely on the smaller side. The biggest disappointment was that they didn’t have any fries when we went, which felt like a miss for a burger place. We actually had to run across the street to Wendy’s to grab some. It’s fine for a quick bite if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

7th Street Burger serves a delicious smash burger every time. They have a no-frills menu, that seems to be recently expanding their vegetarian options, such as impossible burgers and loaded impossible fries. These are true smashed burgers. Smashed on a hot grille to give you a satisfying and crispy edges and soft inside. I always get a cheese burger as it comes on the menu: single patty, 100% fresh beef burger served with American cheese, grilled onions, pickles and house sauce on a Martin's potato bun. The house sauce seems to be a mixture of mayo, ketchup, and some chopped pickles likely seasoned with garlic. The fries are thick, well-salted, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I find them to be better tasting and priced than Shake Shack. The location is a first-floor store front that is accessible, in that there are no stairs. There are high tops inside and high stools.

Sammy and Diego greeting me with the warmest welcome as soon as I got to the register! They were very nice and gave me the most amazing customer service! Despite the busy crowd they gave me my food in a timely manner and delivered it with a smile! Will come here again and again!

Simple menu, great smash burger & is open late! I'm not sure what the house sauce is as I didn't try it. Nonetheless, the burger was great without it.

Good spot for smash burgers, the menu is simple. At the time,it wasn't busy so I got my order without much wait. Prices are low, where you can have a full meal at around $15. While there is seating, I'd rather pick it up and go. The fries are crispy and delicious. And the burger is oily and cheesy, which is a plus.

All I have to say is ..... I was in NYC FOR 72 hours .... I went to this burger joint 3 times. The first time - it was Friday and crowded af.... But the line moved fast - they sell like three items ( max) !!! Burgers / fries / Coca Cola !!! And they don't need to make another thing !! Visit & Wait Time This was my first Smashburger experience. We heard about the place from our tour guide. The line inside was pretty long, taking about 15-20 minutes to get in and another 15-20 minutes for our food. There are a few seats inside, but I wouldn't count on getting one. Luckily, there was a nearby "park" a few blocks away with a farmer's-market-style setup, so we took our food there to eat. Food The menu is simple and easy to navigate. We tried the promotional jalapeño Smashburger with jalapeños and spicy sauce, it was very good. The fries were decent, but one order would be enough for 2-3 people if you just want a few on the side. We got three burgers and three fries, but honestly, two fries would have been more than enough for our group. At the end we were trying to find an unhoused person to give our fries away. The burgers themselves were on the smaller side, making them a good snack to hold you over until dinner. Overall Experience The food was tasty, the portion sizes are snack-friendly, and the menu is straightforward. I'd come back here again, especially if I'm looking for a quick, casual bite.

If you're craving a smash burger, look no further! This place has delicious smash burgers. Their fries are also great and you get a good amount! I was able to split the fries with my friend but you can also enjoy it on your own if you have a big appetite. There aren't that many seats inside but you can easily take the food to-go as well.

I atopped in for a quick bite. I had the cheeseburger. They are a very popular smashburger as they are now in multiple locations, not limited to just 7th Street as the name would suggest. This location in FiDi is busy at lunchtime, but I was able to grab a stool among tge few tgat are available. Tourists have this place in their sites, as well, as I heard conversations in Spanish. The place was sparse, but served its purpose for fast food. My cheeseburger was good. I like my burgers thicker, but tgat would have been at a higher price point. This place is great in a pinch.

this is my new favorite location because I haven't seen jalapeños offered as a topping at other locations or double patties / more burger customizations like I saw here. I'm a single patty, impossible-meat only orderer tho but appreciate the variety for others. BUT maybe this is a new(er) addition to all of the stores? Haven't been in a whiiile. Had a craving for loaded fries but once I saw the jalapeño version, I knew. Ordered that + a glass bottle coke. Toppings: Impossible patty chopped up with american cheese, grilled onions, jalapeños + ghost pepper sauce on perfectly crispy fries. Large portion imo. I go back and forth on whether the two are worth $18 but I think for a fun "fast-food", In-N-Out style meal, it's chill.

This is a direct message to the Owners/Managers! Y'all need to give Dariel a raise! Not only was he super kind and sweet, he quite literally convinced me in real time to buy a meal even though I was fully prepared to just go in with my friend as she ordered her food. It was everything he said it would be which was great because I would've been upset if it was trash, lol. I will say, the meat patty could've used a little more salt but other than that, the meal was very delicious. The bun was nice and soft, I happen to love and prefer American cheese on my burgers so I didn't mind it on there, and the fries were probably my favorite part of the meal. They're either lightly battered or breaded because they had a really nice crisp and crunch to them. It's also really cool that their prices aren't insanely high. Will definitely be back, and if he hasn't gotten a raise or promotion by then, it's gonna be a problem!

My first time trying out 7th Street burger and it was sooo good! The inside has all tall standing tables only, no outside tables. The guy helping us out was really nice. Food came out within 10 minutes. The vibe inside the store was spot on with their music! The menu is straightforward. I ended up getting the cheeseburger ($6.50) with fries ($4.50). This smash burger is just the right amount of grease, the fries are crunchy and fresh. Honestly, this is the perfect food for drunchies. Will definitely come back whenever I go back to NYC!

Small shop but delicious burgers and loaded fries!! The cashier takes your order and packs your meal. Friendly. Tables available to enjoy your meal. Awkward waiting area. Shop lacks ambiance. Basic white walks and no decoration. Can't Tell if they are going add to the decor or that's it.

My favourite go-to for a truly cozy smash burger craving! They keep it simple with a single or double- no frills inside the restaurant but space to stand and eat. Once you order, it's a short 5min wait until you'll be served. At night and peak times it can get busy but never had to wait very long. I really enjoyed the fries as well.

The burgers itself was honestly kind of greasy to the point where it made the burger bun extremely soggy to eat the fries itself were really good, which is why I gave this place a two star very cheap place to get a quick bite to eat I can't complain about the price

fire. loved the potato bun. the edges were crispy and lacy. these are all over the city. wdym this is a chain! so good. comparable to super duper in SF in the sense they r everywhere but way better than super duper.

A decent smashburger compensating a lil too much with its house sauce. Definitely not a bad burger, but definitely underwhelming given the hype around this place. I think smashburgers in general are getting a little too routine.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I don't know what level of incompetence or sheer carelessness it takes to screw up a simple burger and fries, but somehow this place managed to do it -- by serving me HAIRNETS in my food. Yes, actual hairnets. One in the burger, another tangled in the fries. I'm not talking about a stray hair -- a full-on hairnet. How the hell does that even happen? This wasn't just gross -- it was disgusting, unacceptable, and honestly kind of dangerous. Ever heard of food safety? Sanitation? Basic human decency? I don't care how good you think your food is. If you're tossing in random pieces of uniform with the order, you're not running a restaurant -- you're running a health hazard. Avoid this place like the plague. Unless you're into eating laundry accessories with your lunch

I have seen 7th Street Burger online and wanted to finally try it myself. The guys at the cash register were welcoming and recommend their loaded fries. There is rap/hip pop playing which created a cool vibe. We ordered double smashed burgers and fries. There are no chairs only stand up seats so we decided to walk back to our hotel to eat. Our food was still piping hot after a 7 minute walk the bag was just drenched in oil. I enjoyed my burger. I ordered it as is. Next time I will probably opt out of onions because it was much better after I scrapped them off. The fries were decent but nothing special just plain frozen fries. I give 7th Street Burger a 4/5 and I plan to return.

I got a burger here because I did not want to wait in a long line for pizza. I thought the burger was pretty good and I might get another burger from this place. It was priced reasonably.

Food: 4 Decor: 2 Service: 3 Double cheeseburger and fries ~4/5. Pretty good. Nice, crispy, juicy smash burger patties with plenty of cheese in between two buttery buns. Fries were decent. Service was good. You order at the counter, and the order's ready in a couple minutes. Standing seating only.

Best drunchie spot for a smashburger. Don't forget to get their loaded beef fries! It does take some time for you to get your food but it's worth it.

I've recently become aware of 7th Street Burger, this year. The hand few of times, I've been very pleased with it. I came to this new location and like another location, I immediately noticed the lack of seating. It was very warm and uncomfortable outside and decided to eat in the park. The burger itself was great and the fries were just okay. The counter man was friendly and for that, I tipped pretty well. Im a fan of their burgers and service, but the lack of seating is something to keep in mind. If I still worked in lower Manahattan, I'd patronize this location, but as in Midtown, it would be one of their other locations. I'd recommend to others, though!

Was recommended by a friend to try 7th Street Burger while I was in N?YC, so since my hotel was only a few minutes away, I had to make a stop here. The Food: I ordered the "Double Cheeseburger" for my meal. The burger was hot and tasty. Delicious flavor with each bite. It only comes with grilled onions, American cheese, pickles and their house sauce though. So with little toppings, it makes for a basic burger, but very delicious. I do wish there was a little more to the patty, especially at this price, but its not the end of the world. Overall, a quality burger, just a little pricey for what you get. The Service: Service was good here. Ordered at the register and the staff was very fast and quick with getting orders out. The menu is small and gets straight to the point as well. The Atmosphere: Small space that doesn't have a lot of indoor seating. It seems more of a takeout spot than anything. However, the place is very bright and white, with minimal decor. Overall, a 4.5/5. Burger was absolutely delicious! Had tons of flavor and service was fast and easy. I'll be visiting 7th Street again when I'm back.

Lol. Tiktok and Instagram will be the death of me. This place went viral on both platforms and I was both happy and surprised to see a location opened up near my job. Of course I had to try this place out. So I found the food to be just ok. The burgers remind me of White Castle burgers with McDonalds' secret Big Mac sauce. Nothing amazing. Got the cheese burger and fries. Again just ok to me. I wish this place well - although I'm baffled why this place is a hit.

I walked by and decided to go back to try 7th Street Burger. It was the best decision. The food was delicious. Service was fast, as I took it to go. I highly recommend 7th Street Burger!

Sooo if you expect a pretty burger then don't come here. The burger is a smash burger that's somewhat messy so you should eat in the restaurant. The menu is pretty simple. I ordered a cheese burger and fries and tried the 2 side sauces. One was spicy and the other wasn't. The cheeseburger was good, but I did add ketchup which gave it more flavor. The cheeseburger didn't come w ketchup, only the sauce. The fries are medium cut and had good flavor. They are really good when dipped in the side sauce. The staff was really friendly but the restaurant needs work. It's a big space that's not utilized well. They have 4-5 long tables that 4-5 ppl could stand around, but because of that your standing with strangers eating. They could make more room by adding 2 top tables with seating, or even a counter along the wall with seating. There's zero seating and standing while eating isn't really my thing. They were playing hip hop so the vibe is cool, the restaurant is clean it just really needs more tables and chairs.

First and most likely last time trying this. My double cheeseburger looks like the two patties ate each other. The fries also seemed half baked. Giving it the benefit of the doubt that I did a pickup order for this but still- I had come a long way for it and was actually looking forward to trying. Pretty disappointed!

From out of town and saw this place come up on one of my maps and decided to walk down here and it was nice because it was actually clean and the food was not terribly expensive and it was fast and they're friendly and they even have a few places that you can sit down and eat your food and I thought that was a plus plus in New York!!!

Great food and had such great service the cashiers were super sweet and helpful on what I should choose. I like the small menu size which made it a fast wait time. Definitely will come back again they also have lots of indoor seats which is a plus

If you're looking for a rock-solid smash burger with fries, that's what this place does, and that's about it! We didn't try the vegan meat option but it's great that it's offered here. The burger itself very much needed more sauce, and more than a single pickle per sandwich. I recommend getting their house sauce on the side to dip the burger and fries into. The fries themselves were very good, which means a lot coming from someone who cant stand thicker-cut fries. Overall it's a great little take out place that executes its simple menu well.

My favorite 7th Street Burger of all in Manhattan. Ample room to dine for all unlike other locations where the space is a bit cramped. Clean place, everything looked well maintained. Proper ventilation! You should imagine how the other locations were since I'm specific about these. As always, I had the impossible burger with impossible loaded fries. I had the regular fries too. Eat them hot. That's doing justice to the perfect fries they make. I can go on and on about their regular fries. They are just perfect. Not over crispy. Also nostalgic to get those Mexican cokes with wall openers.

This is the burger I got after I ordered delivery from 7th st burger. This is the thinnest burger I have ever seen. Ridiculous.. after all of the fees and tips and delivery charges. I paid around $30 just for this one burger.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I love 7th Street burger. Best burger I've had in NYC and I'm so glad they've opened a location in FiDi. Very clean atmosphere, friendly employees, and delicious food as always. Make sure to order the loaded fries! It's not on the menu, but it's definitely worth getting.

Given all the hype I'd read about 7th Street Burger lately, my expectations may have been set too high. I felt my meal was just fine, considering the price tag: a double cheeseburger with fries (no drink) rang up to around $18, including tax and tip. It's a bit more than I'd anticipate for a quick takeout lunch -- especially one of the greasy-spoon variety. I'd say the burger itself was like a messier version of an In-N-Out double double. Their fries are fatter and floppier than In-N-Out's, though. I prefer this thicker-cut style, personally (although I'm not about to turn down some shoestring fries, either -- a spud's a spud and it's pretty damned hard to make a potato not delicious). As far as I can tell, there's no seating in this venue (nor an obvious bathroom to wash your hands, either). If you're planning on dining in, I wouldn't consider this an accessible-friendly venue. Also, the R&B music was cranked way the hell up, possibly to hearing loss levels. That's great if it's your jam, just don't anticipate having any casual conversations. I'm never mad about enjoying a decent burger. I don't plan to come back -- at least, not to this outlet. Perhaps other locations warrant the rave reviews.

My love and I came here for a quick bite before the Burna Boy concert. If you're looking for a sit-down place, this isn't it as there are no chairs in the place. They also best hip-hop music which makes it hard to hear the person you're standing across from. We both ordered and loved the impossible burgers. They were juicy, flavorful, and a good size for a single. But the star of the meal was the fries. When I looked in the bag after taking the burgers out, I just knew they were going to be delicious. They were cooked and crispy to perfection, not too thick and very flaky.

The most disgusting burger I've ever had ! I wasn't sure if they were actual beef patties or not ! Grease was soaking through the wrapper and had no flavor. For a place that looked so clean to serve such a filthy looking food product is beyond me. I've never go back again ! The service was fast and maybe that because my burger was sitting there previously! Not a great experience.. and I thought to go to 5 guys instead...

The entire experience delivered more than its appearance promised. The restaurant maintains exceptional quality. Personnel was delightful!! Their cooking showcases excellent taste. The restaurant has our loyalty.

Very tasty and reasonably priced at around $8. In the modern "smash burger wars", I've been wanting to try these guys for a long time now. It did not disappoint. I like how they grill the bun, and some of the grease comes through on the wrapper. For the life of me, I don't know why it takes so long for me to get my order. I would think someone would come up with a queuing system that is a little more efficient. (i.e. already have some cooking) Overall, very good, and I'll be back to try it with some fries.

So impressed by this place. I saw on some food influencer's page that she ranked this her top choice NYC restaurant, so when I saw that there was one 2 minutes away I knew I had to try it. The atmosphere is super laid-back and inviting, which makes it a great spot for a late-night meal. Cheeseburger (10/10): Hands down the best burger I've had in New York (maybe ever, second to In N Out). The patty is super juicy and flavor. The bun is soft and fresh. And the toppings are so simiple (just pickles, cheese, and onions I believe) but pull everything together so well. Fries (10/10): I initially had really low expectations for the fries but they ended up to be amazing. They are perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and seasoned literally perfectly. A great complement to the burger!

Really love 7th Street. I usually go to the Time's Square location, tried the FiDi one for the first time. I'd say the service is not as fast or great here, and the burger bun was smushed on this time. But the taste was still so delicious and quality is always consistent. Still one of my top favorites.

If you're looking for a quick hamburger joint w/ a VERY limited menu, this is your place. I came after work craving a burger. The location is convenient and there are only standing tables. I ordered a cheeseburger, seasoned fries and Mexican coke! Finding restaurants that serve 'Mexican coke is far and few between so I was happy to see this on the menu. The order came up fast, and at first appearance I was disappointed. The burger wrap was oily, small about the size of my palm, and messy. I took a quick bite, flavor was okay not nothing exceptional. I then tried a French fry and was even more disappointed. NO FLAVOR! Seasoned fries should be seasoned! Not sure what happened, but these were probably the worse fries I have ever had. Overall if it was late and I was hungry I would get the burger and coke again, BUT a HARD PASSS on the fries!
