The burger itself was tasty, offering a nice flavor, but it was disappointingly small for the price/expectation. The fries were just okay—nothing special. This spot is a great late-night or casual stop, especially if you're already in the area after a few drinks, but it's not worth a special trip.

Google
😅🥰😍 This place has such a vibe! The burger is absolutely delicious, and the music is on point, total vibe central. It gets wild around 2am, packed with tipsy party people 😂 I loved that they were blasting Michael Jackson, iconic! And the way they shout out the order names? Hilarious. You have to experience it!

Google
7th St burger has a couple locations. They essentially have 2 things on their menu: Burger and Fries, and that's how you know they take their items seriously! The house sauce is delicious, the beef patties are juicy and you'll be wolfing it down in no time. They're a bit pricey but every bite is excellent and I'm not dissatisfied when I leave. They also have a rewards program and surprises on your birthday!

Google
Food was great and the cooks were kind. But the waiter with the dreads was one of the most rudest cashier/waiters I’ve ever dealt with. He had an attitude the whole time. It looked like he didn’t want to be there. You would ask him a question and he would just nod his head and look at you as if you’re stupid. Really rude. With my experience working and customer service with food. We’re supposed to make the customers feel welcome to the restaurant and not rude. Hey Jordan S! Please work somewhere else if you don’t want to be there. You’re bringing the vibe down. Even if you’re having a bad day, learn how to turn that switch for a company who’s paying you to press buttons on a tablet. The cooks work 10 times harder then you and still have a smile on their face 😂

Google
In a Saturday night I was craving smash burgers & I was recommended to 7th St Burgers by my spouse for the first time I tried their famous cheese burger & it did not disappointed me. How good it looks on their menu that’s how good it taste. Even their fries!! I would definitely recommend them they are delicious!!!

Google

Google
Tasty food at a decent price also had some good tunes playing and food came out pretty fast. I definitely will be going back.

Google
Genuinely one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. I don’t know how they did it, but I could eat nothing but this for the next month and still crave more. Like the Krusty Krab but, if SpongeBob were more locked in

Yelp
I was visiting from California, and one of the people I was staying with told me about 7th Street Burger. This was after I had mentioned to him that NYC doesn't have an In-N-Out Burger like in California. I was in the neighborhood for a rooftop party and walked up and down Bedford to see what the city has to offer me. I saw the 7th Street Burger and decided it was worth the calories, so I gave it a try. There was a long wait after ordering my cheeseburger and fries, but it was worth it. The burger was very, very good. Delicious. The service was 10/10. The vibe is excellent. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating.

Yelp
I personally have nothing bad to say about this place, but nothing great either. This burger spot has gained fame and stardom overnight in New York City and is quickly becoming one of the most popular Smashburger spots. Every video I see about them claims that they're one of the best burgers in New York City and I cannot say that I agree. I have had a burger from this location and multiple other locations in the city and I will say they are consistent across all locations. I just feel like the hype is way too much it's a decent burger a good bang for your buck but nothing to write home about I feel like they're loaded fries are better than the burgers themselves. I think with the mass expansions they're doing into multiple different states and neighborhoods it'd can sometimes cause an overlook in the quality control I just don't think this spot is fairly presented online. The above review is solely on the food. The service and the staff has always been very kind and attentive to me and the restaurants that I've been to are always clean and well organized.

Yelp
Over the past year, I've received many recommendations to eat at 7th St. Burger. I decided to have it for lunch today and I have regrets. I finished eating half of double cheeseburger from here moments ago and I was so appalled that I had to write my review. First of all, f**k that pickle! I usually order extra pickles on every burger, but if I'd done that, I would've chucked (hehe, beef joke!) this burger out the window. The pickle would be better suited to a fried chicken sandwich than a burger. It was not the right level of acidity to cut through the heaviness of that sauce. Sure, the patties were bland (lacked salt), the onions were raw, the sauce was too thick and cloying, the bun was soggy (which is ok), and the bag was covered in a layer of grease. None of this was worse than that nasty pickle! Unfortunately, the combo of things was literally an assault on burgers. This was such a bummer. If I were on the fence about never eating meat again, this burger would've sent me to the dark side.

Yelp
Got to try double-cheeseburger and fries. Bun was soft. Smashed meat tender but could use more salt so bit bland. Fries seasoned but bit harder. I thought it overall was good not amazing but portions are definitely on the smaller size and was still hungry after. I could have probably eaten 2 double-cheeseburgers and 2 fries. For the portions its a bit pricy.
google avatar

Angela L.

Yelp
Can you see how thin this burger is ? I'd be embarrassed to serve this and call it a burger - why they have so many rating is a big mystery to me. Place is pretty empty on a busy afternoon. Maybe quality went down after the burgers got thinner. If you are hungry - I definitely don't recommend this place. Paper thin burgers
google avatar

Madeline L.

Yelp
Overhyped :( Truly nothing special about this smash burger. One of the best aspects of a smash burger are when the edges of the beef patty get crispy from the grill, however this beef was missing that. Overall, the burger was really nothing to write home about. The flavor (or lack thereof honestly) didn't wow me and I was left very unsatisfied with the meal. Oh and the fries are mid as well. I was super surprised given how much hype this place has, but it's sadly just not for me.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a no frills burger joint that has popped up all over NYC. Their store fronts are minimalist and their menu is simple. I love their double impossible burgers. They use a smash style for the patties, which gives them a juicy, satisfying bite. In the past, I've found their fries kind of basic, but this time around, they were extra crispy with just the right amount of oil. They are a little pricey for a fast food burger, but they've nailed their recipe and consistently deliver a tasty meal.
google avatar

Graham P.

Yelp
Love this local chain of burger joints and make a visit every time I am in NYC. This location was great tonight before a show nearby. Fast service, good quality and the guys working were all super friendly. Clean bathrooms as well

Chris B.

Yelp
Was craving a burger after not having one in over a year. Was very let down by the food here. I did get an impossible burger so that could have been my fault. But it was very mid, fries too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! I mean one would think a cheeseburger is just a cheeseburger but 7th street Burger delivers so much more than just your average cheeseburger. Think of it as a crossover of a meaty patty with similar taste of White Castle/Quarter Pounder. Kind of like a mash up between the two but of course better. I stopped by in the evening and ordering was super easy. Customer service was super friendly as well. Don't forget to buy the delicious chocolate chip cookies up front as you wait for your food. The burger is greasy, don't get me wrong, but a good kind of greasy. It's the type of greasy where you just don't care what's going on with your arteries at the moment because you deserve the goodness of those well seasoned burger Pattie's. Enjoy. I know I did and I went back 3 more times days later.

Yelp
The perfect burger joint doesn't ex.. OH BUT IT DOES. Mind you, I'm here to talk about their plant based burger that is out of this world. Oh, and extra crispy fries that are fried to perfection? Double yes. We came here after a night out and at 1am our bellies decided they were hungry again and needed a little something something. Our friends took us to this bomb spot and to be honest I had little faith in it. I was ready to just grab a quick slice of pizza as we were walking. However, when my eyes saw the "impossible burger" option, I had a little taaaa-daaaaaaa moment. We ordered the spicy jalapeño impossible burger with fries (ok also, did NOT realize they have a double impossible, YUM) and cheese served inside of a martins bun. SO YES, your burger is soft, drool worthy and you can grab it with one hand without everything falling out and crumbling away. Juicy, delicious and absolutely out of this world. Again, it might have just been 1am belly that was living its best life, but you know what, the burgers were amazing and I couldn't get enough of those fries.

Annalise W.

Yelp
If you like burgers, especially smash burgers this place is a great option. They have a simple menu, literally the cheeseburger, double, or fries. Burgers aren't very big, but the double plus fries is surprisingly filling. I always order an extra side of sauce to dip the burger and fries in. Fries are nice and crispy. The only thing to keep in mind is the burgers are quite greasy, which also makes the bun very soft. Restaurant is no frills. Limited seating. Majority of people get delivery or takeout. Order at the counter.

Yelp
If you are around any 7th Street Burger, GO! Everything is so good. Pretty busy but service is quick too. Definitely a go-to after a night out!

Yelp
Wonderful friendly staff Delicious double stacker burger. Very clean and spacious franchise. Thank you to the amazing team for their hard work.

Yelp
My evening stroll along Bedford Ave. led me to 7th Street Burger for a quick bite to eat. I had dined here once before, and I have to say, the employees were way nicer this time around. Greeted us with a smile, and even brought our order to the table once it was ready! The burger was exactly as I remembered; just the right size for the price point, and loaded with lots of delicious grilled onions. The fries were crispy, and prepared as requested without salt. Be sure to visit if you're in the area, and looking for a filling meal, that won't break the bank.
google avatar

Roma B.

Yelp
Came by after a rooftop party at the Arlo. Got the special of the month, the jalapeño cheeseburger. It was so good! The jalapeños were fresh and had a kick to it. Burgers were very reasonably priced too!
google avatar

Kiran S.

Yelp
A great fast casual burger spot if you're in the Williamsburg area! Steamy bun, perfectly melted cheese, special sauce all for just $8. The place is kept clean & the service was impressive! Unfortunately, someone took my burger while I was in the restroom but the cashier Pamela was on top of it. She addressed it immediately. They also gave me a "free burger" gift card as an apology for the confusion. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Annie S.

Yelp
I was not a fan of this smash burger. I may be biased because I'm from California and my go to is In-N-Out, but this was not worth it. A bit expensive for a fairly plain cheeseburger, no veggies just sauce. The patty is very thin and it's a greasy burger. Fries were also expensive. I can see this being a good late night spot but it's just not worth the price IMO!
google avatar

Christina L.

Yelp
I bet this burger would hit so hard at 2am when you're drunk af, but unfortunately I was here for dinner at 8pm before going out. I got the impossible burger and it was good, pretty much like most other impossible burgers I've had, but it's not very substantial. I (and my friend who got a double cheeseburger) were still feeling hungry afterwards which is kind of a bummer for $9-$13. I also did wish my burger was a bit more saucy.
google avatar

Marc S.

Yelp
On lists as one of the great burgers in NY, I gave to disagree. It's a $6.50 slider. I can hear the Wendy's lady saying " where's the beef?" Mixed because the food is quality, but a 2oz burger for that price isn't reasonable. I can recommend a few slider joints with the same quality at half the price . Ok, so the burger fail was at their west side location. I went to the LES spot last night and the burger was in fact awesome. A much different and heartier burger. I'd definitely go again. In fact I might tonight.
google avatar

Robyn S.

Yelp
Quick service, order at the counter. The jalapeño cheddar burger is incredible. Great low key place to stop in and have a quick bite-fast causal
google avatar

Kai S.

Yelp
Ok I am indifferent of the burger. It was tasty, but I feel the patty could have been crispier for a smash burger and there could have been a better balance to the rich sauce and bun. Overall nothing too special. However, the spicy loaded beef fries are truly incredible, one of the best loaded fries I've ever eaten. The fries are crispy, the beef adds a savoriness. The sauce, a blend of cheesy creaminess, a nice kick from the spicy to balance, and onions was a flavor explosion. It's probably 2000 calories, but worth every calorie!
google avatar

Jesse Y.

Yelp
Best smash burger in NYC. Super fast service and talk about a simple menu. The interior is no frills but who gives a damn when the burger is that mind blowing
google avatar

Yelp
I've been dibbling back into eating red meat every few months and decided to try 7th street burger, I didn't feel like leaving the house so I ordered from Uber eats. Their menu was pretty easy as it's mainly burger, fries and their famous sauce. We ordered a regular cheese burger, a double cheeseburger and a few fries. Even with the estimated time the delivery came way before that that, the food was well packaged and everything was in the bag. As someone who hasn't eat red meat in yrs this burger did it for me, well seasoned tasty, you didn't need anything extra because it was that good. They fries were well done and paired perfectly with the special sauce. I will order from here again.

Luis L.

Yelp
I ordered loaded fries i truly recommend wast fantastic and the person that took my order was very nice and helpful and the guys cooking were fast !
google avatar

Carol B.

Yelp
Yay, a 7th Street Burger in Brooklyn! I'm a fan of 7th Street Burger's smashburger. In fact, it might be one of my favorites? I think it's a good size as I can finish it without feeling too full. The burger is also well constructed and doesn't fall apart or get too mushy. If you're looking for a quick, under $10 bite in the area, 7th Street is solid! This location also has several tables/seats in the back.

Kelsey C.

Yelp
This impossible burger is out of this world. My wife craves it at least 1x a week. The chilis version with jalapeños? I MEAN. So good.
google avatar

Silvie C.

Yelp
Though I live in Sunset Park, I am not shy when it comes to getting in the car and driving to Williamsburg for food! I've only ever been to the E 7th Street location that's walk-up/outdoor eating only and mostly during the mask era but it's always been consistent and tasty. That being said, it was so nice to visit a location with indoor seating. Food and music were so on point here, the wait for my combo meals was shorter than I was anticipating, and there was a very steady stream of foot traffic for a Tuesday. The gentleman working the register was INCREDIBLY nice and hospitable, cracking jokes or interacting with every single customer or courier. Really hoping this place sees a lot of success but knowing the chain and the area, it'll def happen.
google avatar

Jacqueline B.

Yelp
A bit of a small portion for the price but delicious none the less. The loaded fries were perfect for this gal who dearly misses living on the west coast with unfettered access to In N Out animal fries.
google avatar

Shirley H.

Yelp
I always get their double cheeseburger and it never disappoints. The patty is really flavorful and the burger is simple and tasty. The patties are always juicy and fresh. The service is quick and to the point. Their are trivia questions next to the cashier and if you get it correctly, you can win a free burger. I took my burger to-go, but there are more seatings in the back. It's difficult to find street parking on Bedford Ave.

Jonnie W.

Yelp
As per usual I ordered 2 burgers and no fries. The classic double cheeseburger and the double jalapeño special. While I enjoyed my meal, both were disappointing. The quality of the meat is great and the house sauce is delicious, but the burgers are so soggy. It is not a question of greasiness (I'm not a prude about that); there is simply no textural variation. The grease, combined with the way they are wrapped, leaves the burger a sodden mess after only a few minutes. While the jalapeño did add a crunch to one of the burgers (a needed textural googly), the flavour was a sharp intrusion. 7th street has become the victim of its own success, with my disappointment driven by high expectations. The burger is good, but it's not great. 3 stars. I have tried the fries before, and enjoyed em - they'd likely improve my score.
google avatar

Ashley H.

Yelp
I always wanted to try this place out so I was super excited when we were able to order this on DoorDash since we're rarely around the area. After trying though, I found the cheeseburger a little disappointing. I wished the patty was a little more flavorful because the burger was kind of bland even with the sauce. The whole burger was nothing special. I did like the chopped beef fries which is sauce on top of a beef patty, sitting on top of fries.
google avatar

Ivan P.

Yelp
The food stands out even among good restaurants. The other dishes were wonderful, using spices I don't regularly choose. The service staff is friendly, food is satisfying, and amounts are generous. Employees delivered exceptional attention as well. I'm torn between sharing and staying quiet.
google avatar

Anya T.

Yelp
7th street burger is the guilty pleasure I didn't know I needed. I went to one of the locations in the city and the burger was so juicy and cheesy with the right amount of burger grease! Y'all know what I'm talking about. It was piping hot in the wrapper and had these melty chopped onions embedded in the melted cheese. And surprisingly the burger heat up well the next day. I am a smash burger patty kinda gal and thoroughly enjoyed my burger!
google avatar

Ruben P.

Yelp
I ordered two burgers yesterday missing out an opportunity to applaud this establishment for a stellar job. The burger itself melts in your mouth. If you love smash burgers just as much as I do then you stumbled across the right place with 7th Street Burger. I recommend you sit towards the back where you can enjoy your burger while you jam out to the latest hits of 2025. With Brooklyn behind the counter, 7th street feels right at home. Service is phenomenal. And the ambience is perfect. Fast-forward to today and I'm back for another round of jalapeño cheddar burgers. P.S. it's not even on the regular menu. Limited time only. Fun fact Williamsburg isn't the only borough that you can find them.
google avatar

Clari B.

Yelp
Simple no flare homemade small burgers with just enough flavor to satiate a quick craving. Although this place doesn't stand out from the overwhelming amount of burger joints (including fast food and chain restaurants), it's conveniently located if you're out on a night of debauchery. Overall hopefully in the future they expand their menu, or at minimum seasoned fries. Although the space is far too cramped to do so, maybe some ceiling storage can help them out. Also they need a designated DJ if they going to play booty popping music (it kept stoping mid song changing to another then repeat). Also fyi get a double because the single is a joke (paper thin).
google avatar

Nancy C.

Yelp
After moving to NY, I've gotten so many recommendations and raving reviews to try out 7th Street Burger. All I have to say is it's a good spot if you're craving a greasy late night meal. The menu is pretty simple with only 3 burger choices - cheeseburger, double, impossible and add-on sides - fries, drinks, dessert, and sauces. Had this fresh off the grill and the smash burger was exactly what you'd hope it would be - flavorful, greasy, cheesy, oh and did I mention greasy because it was super greasy. I wished the bun was toasted a bit more because it was all just a mush blend with the soft bun and pile of sauce. After I scarfed down my burger, I was left with just some onion breath. Luckily, I had salted fries to munch on. Those were slightly crisp on the outside but still had the starchiness on the inside. But, I'd have to say that one of my favorite part of this whole experience was the riddles written on the take out paper bags lined up on the counter that you can try to solve when waiting in line. This was creative, fun, and made the wait a lot faster than it was. The best part? If you get 3/5 right, you get a free burger as a prize. We went on a Saturday evening and this place was poppin'. The workers were busy, but they were having a blast and customer service was still great. The music was bumping and everyone was just getting the night started. There was a decent amount of seating inside and in the outdoor seating out back. Come for the fun vibes but just know you're getting nothing more than just an average bite.

Yelp
Wow! Go for the double with a loaded fries!!! quick service, no atmosphere, excellent food

Yelp
Ordered a double cheese for pickup via Grubhub. When I went to pickup, the cashier said Grubhub wasn't working so the cashier had to ring it up and I had to wait for my order to be prepared. They have some seating in the front and back if you wanted to dine in. The double cheeseburger was average. For a double cheeseburger, it was also smaller than I expected.
google avatar

Hong Kim L.

Yelp
This review is from my dine-in experience. Ordered a double stack cheeseburger, regular fries, and a French toast banana pudding. Everything was fresh and cooked with perfection. My burger was bigger than the standard and a good amount of grease to give it that delectable flavoring. Fries were super crispy to perfection and still hot from the fryer. The French toast was a nice cake fluff of surprise with a mild level of pudding (enough to satiate those taste buds) after a savory meal. The staff here is incredible and dedicated to their products sold here. Best advice is to eat your burgers and various food items here when you get the chance. There is plenty of seating at this location and it is important to savor everything here to get the full experience. Burger toast!

Yelp
5 - Exceeded expectations This is the place to go if you are looking for a simple juicy burger. Was just what I wanted. Highly recommend for your next burger craving.

Yelp
Such a great smash burger! Super greasy but worth the mess. Get the double, the single will leave you wanting more!

Shana H.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times and each time my food was cooked and given to me promptly. I love that the orders are ready made and come out warm. I've had the impossible burger and it tastes really good. In addition, I was always able to grab a seat even at the busiest of times. The music in the restaurant is a bit loud which kind of takes away from sitting down and eating while having a conversation. At times, it is too loud. Again, my burger and fries were absolutely delicious and I would visit again and again.
google avatar

Vstunna X.

Yelp
It can get busy, especially on Friday & Weekend Nights - but that's worth good reason. I'm not a smash burger critic - I like the simplicity in the flavors, but the 7th st burger stands out. Maybe for its consistency? Fries are just ok - so I'd rather go big or go home with 2 doubles. Never had a bag experience & definitely a casual go to spot!

Anthony I.

Yelp
Curly head guy behind the counter offered to call the cops and have me arrested after mentioning that my butger took over 1hr to be done, he does not deal with any confrontation and is very quick to flex muscles and deny a customer

Yelp
Went to check out this brand new location right off the Bedford Ave L stop in Williamsburg. It's very well-lit and the style of the restaurant is traditional- simple menu with limited options, seating. and you line up in a queue to order. They also have a backyard area which is open in the summer. Upon entering, you are immediately engulfed in the smell of hamburgers being cooked so I ordered the single cheeseburger, fries and a coke. The service was quick and seamless, and the food arrives shortly after you place your order. The burger is a traditional smash burger that is thin with the cheese melting and oozing as soon as you take a bite. I love this type of burger as it's easy to eat, satiating, and the beef is fully cooked. This place really does the trick. I would recommend trying 7th street at least once, as the quality and taste for what you get is probably the best there is right now. I generally don't enjoy burgers which have lots of filler ingredients so this is more of my vibe, and I would most definitely go back here again!!!!! Good late night option as well since its open late!!
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
Never order late night pickup from a delivery service app at this location. The cashier does not call out every order that comes out. He is by himself and really needs a dedicated person for just delivery app orders. Nonetheless, I've tipped this person before but at 3 different times I've shown him my screen and said my name numerous times for my order to sit on the shelf for 30 minutes and then miraculously finds my order right there and hands it to me without apologies.
google avatar

Yasi H.

Yelp
I've always loved 7th Street Burger for an affordable and quick burger fix but have usually gone to the cramped and perpetually chaotic West Village location, so I was so pleased to find out that a spacious location opened in Williamsburg. I got to try the class cheeseburger, fries, and topped it off with a Mexican coke. There's truly nothing like coke in a glass bottle and I loved how they had bottle openers on the wall. There was plenty of seating and they are usually open super late which is perfect for a late night burger fix. My friend and I originally didn't get one of our fries with our order but that was quickly remedied. The service was great and everyone was so friendly. I'm so excited this is open now!

Yelp
Finally was able to try 7th street burger after seeing it all over Instagram. Customer service was good. Food came Out warm. I ordered the impossible burger. It was flavored well and the special sauce was an added touch. The taste actually reminds me of White Castle, when I used to eat their burgers. I just think the size of the burger is not worth the price. It is on the smaller side.
