827 Rays Kitchen + Cellar

Came to this place for my birthday celebration and it is big! There is plenty of seating inside and outside. They have plenty of parking outside. They have a bar seating area as well. When we got there the waitress did help us quick but then she kind of ignored us and was helping everyone else but us. We had to get her attention a couple times and the food did take a while to come out. We weren't to bothered by it afterwards because the food was freaking delicious! It had so much flavor and it was a good amount of food on our plates. The price was fair for the quality of food. Only thing was the waitress deal but other than that definitely recommend the food!!!

827 Ray's is now rebranded as Texas Street Grill. The indoor dining venue is upscale, with a sparate bar area. If you visited this place way back when it was the Hill Country Pasta house, you'll recognize some things but the bar addition is new, the front entry was enlarged, and the interior dining room complete redone. Yes, it's a little pricey, with entrees ranging from about $20 to $35, but the food is awesome including a great selection of fish, chicken, and steaks. The Ahi tuna and Salmon were both delicious. A photo of the dinner menu is included from 7/2019. The wait staff is attentive, and the manager walks around greeting guests and making sure everything runs smoothly. There's a totally separate outside venue with a much simpler and less expensive menu right next door, with the same name. It's basically a large, covered pavillion with fans, multiple TV's, and a big beer selection on tap. There's a fenced lawn area and playscape, great for entertaining the kiddos while the adults enjoy a brew and tasty burger.

The food is tastefully prepared and served with a certain panache that is appealing to the locals. There is so much detail placed on presentation and the wine selection is excellent. The service staff are knowledgeable and take good care each time I bring guests. It is a delight!

Visited 827 Rays today for our anniversary dinner. The atmosphere was cozy, styled, and relaxed. The food tasted awesome and our server Charles helped make our celebration special with exceptional service. Good selection of wine and liquor. Will be back and recommend to others. Great option for a slightly more casual environment but high end food.

We are so happy that this restaurant is doing well and continues to offer great quality food with great service at reasonable prices. They have fantastic cocktails and a really cool happy hour. The outside patio is great also. We have been to this place many times and have always had a consistently great experience. If you haven't been to Ray's, you should!

My husband and I have been here twice, both for an evening date night and an after work happy hour. It’s a beautiful little restaurant, modern with a warm bar area. It is pretty difficult to spot off the road initially and for the quality of food, the dirt parking lot doesn’t make me or my heels happy. Oysters were excellent as were the mimosas. Kid friendly earlier in the day.

Had a great experience at 827Ray's! The food was delicious. We ordered the shishito peppers and baked goat cheese as appetizers. Both were incredible. Every bite was a symphony in my mouth. For Entrees, we split the Grilled Quail with risotto. Words cannot describe how amazing this dish was. I was blown away. Loved the bar setup as well. They have a large selection of wines and interesting cocktails. The bar manager was very knowledgeable and helped us fine the perfect wine/cocktail to pair with the various dishes. The bar-top itself was really neat. Overall, the food is Creative but classic, perfectly prepared and very unique. The service was great and the atmosphere all make for a great experience
