Taiwanese President Stops at LA 85ºC Bakery, Causing Fight With China - Eater LA

"A Downtown Los Angeles bakery has unexpectedly found itself at the heart of growing tensions between China and semi-autonomous Taiwan, and it all started over a photo of a cup of coffee. The backlash began at the Wilshire Boulevard location of Taiwanese restaurant chain 85ºC Bakery, and is now rippling through mainland China and Taipei stock trading floors." - Farley Elliott

Google
I recently tried some pastries from this bakery, and I was genuinely impressed! Everything tasted fresh, not overly sweet, and beautifully balanced. You can really tell they care about quality and attention to detail.my absolute favorite light, flavorful, and just perfect with a cup of coffee. Definitely coming back for more. Highly recommende

Google
I’ve been to other locations by the same brand and it’s always been great. I had a few of their sandwiches and a cafe latte with almond milk. Their breakfast food offerings were delicious and excellent. The coffee was very average though and mid. I’d definitely come back here again for their other pasties and baked goods.

Google
Their cakes and breads are good. Not too sweet and not taste too strong as Japanese ones or Asian ones. My favorite one is coconut cake.

Venice Torrefranca

Google
Never been to cafe that is cheap yet so delicious! Theyve got a LOT of great choices ♥️ the cakes too are soooo good 😋

Google
All I ever get here is the Mango Slush because it is so good! I make a lot of frozen fruit drinks at home and I'm often disappointed when I buy them from restaurants and stands but not from 85, these are the best I've ever had and I've not been able to duplicate them at home. This is a must stop if you are in the area. It is like drinking the best mango I've ever eaten, naturally sweet and refreshing. They make it quickly and freshly and it is not that expensive.

Google
85°C Wow! I'm glad I stumbled across it. Peach/Mango smoothie was excellent as was the tea. All of the baked goods and desserts looked wonderful. Unfortunately I had just ate, because the cakes looked so good.

Google
If you like sweets this is the place to go. The variety will make you go on circles trying to pick a couple things instead of ten. Prices are very pleasant. $1.80 apple danish $2.00 spinach danish They also have boba! for extra $0.50 2.75 medium Jasmine Green Tea

Google
Chain bakery delivers the goods!! Taiwanese style pastries and Guatemalan coffee, what more can you asked for. Eight five have a plethora different types of snacks and drinks. I myself had to go with a cafe con leche and a slab of cheese cake and a slab of Black Forest. Why not. And a taro drink for the Mrs.. Overall it’s a solid pastry shop and it’s great for breakfast or dessert. Dos cakes up 🍰🍰

Yelp
They have gone downhill. Quite is mediocre at best Also they have been in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act for the greater part of the year, gating off the only handicap entrance, w I th no plans to rectify.

Yelp
Everything was okay, typically 85 degree service with picking out breads and sweets. This location in dtla is a grab and go type 85 degrees, there are not seats inside. Anyways, the reason for my 1 star is my Vietnamese coffee, See my photo. They must've thought I ordered ice with a small splash of Vietnamese coffee for some flavor. Their drinks are usually good but don't get their Vietnamese coffee
google avatar

Rebecca A.

Yelp
Classic Taiwanese bakery offering fluffy sweet and savory buns and drinks like bubble tea. My favorite is the taro of course. Recommendation that if you have a particular item you want, go earlier in the day.
google avatar

Yelp
The downtown location is surprisingly clean and their baked goods and pastries are fresh. They appear to have a regular clientele who stops in on their way to work or class. On the weekdays anyway. They probably sell through their products faster maintaining their freshness. This is a takeout only location. No seating at all. Grab and go. It's nearby several downtown hotels, Sheraton, Hilton, Hotel Per La, as well as several colleges. Staff is friendly and efficient. They keep the location clean and tidy. I have observed them handling difficult people, who are not customers, but who walk in off of the streets, with grace and kindness when the situation needs to be addressed. This is a small, but mighty location. People who work, live, go to school or visit downtown L.A. are lucky to have it as a choice among several Starbucks. Parking is a challenge. Metered street parking and a few parking garages are available.
google avatar

Amanda H.

Yelp
Unfortunately no inside seating but a decent selection of Asian breads. It's a solid chain and fair prices

Yelp
Staying in DTLA on a budget requires a stop at 85°C Bakery. That, and I knew I would make half of my Instagram followers jealous. Picked up about 8 pastries, in addition to an iced Vietnamese coffee at the counter. My favorite pastry has always been the blueberry cream cheese brioche! Everything is $2-5 each, which is a great option when you don't want to leave your hotel every time you're hungry. Customer service was fantastic. They're always whipping out fresh pastries, and even though this is a smaller locations it's just as well stocked with sweet and savory options. Been a few years since I've been to 85°C, and it did not disappoint.

Yelp
I have been enjoying 85 degree bakery. However, today I bought a Jumbo coconut strudel, the filling has gone off, smelt and tasted sour. Coconut is known to go off very quickly, mine was probably leftover pastries. Please be cautious!

Yelp
So glad there's an 85C bakery in DTLA. It's our office's go-to place for birthday cakes! Prices are affordable and the cakes are decadently good! Ordered the Ube Cream cake for some whimsical fun and the taste was divine! Creamy and moist, not heavy and not even sweet! Had the Classic Tiramisu cake last time for another birthday occasion and it was also moist and delicious! It's my ultimate favorite! Decorations for both cakes were pretty and spot-on! If there's anything to critique, I didn't find any except am hoping they'd moved to a bigger location, perhaps by 7th & Figueroa to better accommodate many patrons not to mention, it'll be closer to my work! Thank you 85C! Will be back for more birthday cakes for our hard working team! Yes, I've tried their sweet and savory baked goods as well as Sea Salt iced coffee drinks from other 85C locations, but being that DTLA is my place of work, this is ideally the place to go.

Yelp
Average, very ordinary. Nothing special about this place. If you want try just pastries. Coffee is very bad. If you a coffee drinker this place is no.

Rae H.

Yelp
This review is not about 85c as a whole, just this location. I have been to at least 8 different locations, and generally have an amazing experience. This location consistently puts out burnt and/or undercooked product. There's something going on with their ovens, or quality checks. Also they are almost always out of most items. Even if you go mid morning. Additional the team almost always gets the drink order wrong, and rarely fixes it. And on top of that they are rude about the whole thing. Something is going on with management, and training. I love 85. This is the closest location to me. I still probably stick to the ktown location because I'm tired of burnt and undercooked items.

Yelp
We were on our way to Whole Foods but stopped by since it was on the way. The store is small and has a tiny selection of bread compared to other 85 C Bakery stores we've been in at the Bay Area. They had a buy 3 get 1 free bread promotion & some seasonal items at the time so we decided to take advantage of it. Aussie Meat Pie ($3.10): I wasn't sure what to expect but it wasn't bad. I thought the meat would be full of umami & salty but the meat marinade was pretty light. Premium Milk Bread ($2.50): This is a good palette cleanser for me so I take a bite after a meal to satisfy my sweet tooth. The bread is really soft and would probably be really good to dip in some condensed milk. Cheese Dog ($2.50): One of our go to items here. We love eating this as a savory snack. Taiwanese Boroh ($1.85): I am a sucker for the beautiful textured look but forget how plain tasting it actually is so skip on this if you want to make the most out of your carb intake! Egg Tart Box ($4.45 for 2): These were good but not as great as I remember they used to be. Mango Coconut ($5.15): Oh. My. Goodness. We loved the mango smoothie here but this blows the other one out of the waters. It's super refreshing, sweet, delicious, & comes with real mango pieces that are ripened This is a must try! Taro Lavender Latte Light Ice ($5.05): This is also a new drink that was pretty good but it doesn't compare to the mango coconut. This latte is lighter in flavor so there's no burst of sweetness or refreshness after drinking it.

Yelp
The young woman working there is very rude because I asked her about the ingredients she said they don't make it here even though that's not what I asked. I used to come here very often as I live down the street. I will never come here again. Everything is old and stale

Tiffany S.

Yelp
I'm an 85 degrees stan. Boba is soooo cheap (5 bucks for a large drink) and consistently good!! Service has always been so lovely at this location. Always a must when I'm in DTLA. Sad the hours are only 9-6 on weekdays and no service on weekends but that's alright.

Sara S.

Yelp
I came in and was in line and as I was walking up to the register to get helped out the girl just leaves and goes to the back and then comes back out but doesn't help me out. There was another guy as well, but he didn't help me out either. I was in line for about 5-7 minutes keep in mind the store was empty. Then a guy making drinks turned around and asked if I have been helped I said no and he apologized. His name was Henry he was very helpful but as for the rest of the staff they honestly seemed so rude not even a hi welcome or anything. Food was nice but the drinks were not that good.

Al W.

Yelp
Okay experience. The front counter guy was nice. Location kept clean. Buns tasted okay. Some of the patrons didn't use the tongs and picked through the buns by hand.

Tuyen D.

Yelp
I'm not sure if because I came in during the last hour of opening, but I wish the staff could have been a bit more familiar with the store app and more respectful with my order (July 19, 5:00 pm-6:00 pm). Thank you for reading.

Yelp
I love 85C bakery! I'm traveling from NYC and I had three 85C bakery's in the span of 6 days. I actually bought some back to NYC bc we do not have an 85c here. The bread here tastes so amazing! Despite bringing back to NYC, I put it in the oven to heat up for 1 minute and it smells so good and tastes just as good! I bought some for my family and they were impressed! All the buns still have a crispy, crusted layer of bread. The Hokkaido cheese tart tastes so good to me! It's similar to KAB cheese tart original. The serving size is perfect and the mochi egg tarts are also very delicious! I ordered milk tea from here and I think it was ok. I'm a fan of tea bags over boba powder. But I haven't tried their other drinks or coffee. But it's definitely a place that I would come back if I travel again! The bread is so delicious!!! I see why people order so much!

Yelp
Omg I just discovered them today! I can't wait to try more food. I ordered a sea salt Carmel coffee and a couple more pastries. They had so many things to choose from. Everything looked great. The women who worked there were very kind. I already love this place lol!
google avatar

Evangeline L.

Yelp
Came on a weekday morning and got some amazing boba, taro buns, egg tarts, croissants, you name it. The price was AMAZING and quality was great. The cheese egg tarts were so fluffy and authentic, and the taro buns were some of the best I've had - very rich in flavor with substantial taro blend inside. Yum yum yum.
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
I'm a huge fan of 85c! I swear they have the best egg tarts in all the land. Not to mention so many other delicious goodies like their chocolate brownie cookies, any hot dog or bacon pastries, just about anything you pick is a safe bet. Prices aren't too bad with egg tarts for $1.80, drinks for $4, huge chocolate cream cheese bread for $2.50, bacon & cheese pastries for $2.15 - just as a few examples. They make some great drinks, as well, I love their sea salt coffees! Nomz. Though I love the cafe, this is one of my least favorite locations. It's small compared to others which means a smaller location. Plus there is far less seating than other spots, just a couple of tables. Service and goods are the usual above par though!
google avatar

Yelp
3.5 stars? Why? Maybe because no place to sit? And the location is kind of ehhh sometimes with bums. Other than that, I finally stopped in yesterday and got their filled milk bun and potato and cheese pastry. Holy MOLY! Just so good. Pretty darn cheap too. The custard filled milk bun was so good and soft. I'm dreaming of it now. I'd love to have a bed made out of it, or even a pillow, so whenever I wanted a nibble while I was comfortably laying down, I could turn my face over and get a mouthful of yummy deliciousness softness. I might have to get more and just keep em in my house, if they last that long. ASIAN PASTRIES AND BUNS ARE SERIOUSLY HANDS DOWN THE BEST!
google avatar

Saule I.

Yelp
The manager was Asian and extremely rude to me when I asked to use the bathroom. She told the same thing over and over again as if I was mentally challenged.
google avatar

Mildred O.

Yelp
I liked this bakery but they have significantly reduced the size of their cakes yet the price remained the same. I don't like that they put many cherries in the Black Forest b'se it further reduces on the quantity of the cake. They need to do better:
google avatar

Yelp
Recently had the opportunity to try several pastries from here. Highlights include the chocolate bun and the taro bun-both filled with a good amount of filling, especially the taro one! The taro one really seems to get the most for your buck for how big and heavy. I didn't care for the savory pastries such as the one with sausage or the ham one as they were quite salty. Overall it seems like it could be hit or miss on what is good or not so tasty.
google avatar

Zahra S.

Yelp
I've always really enjoyed this café/bakery. It has always been very clean and tidy. I love love Boba and all sorts of things. I'm a big coffee person, so wondering that I really enjoyed is an iced rose latte with Boba, so instead of it being a rose milk tea it's done with the espresso end it is magnificent. In general, it can be difficult to find rose flavored things in this part of the world so when you do find a good one, it's especially excellent. I also really like the cheesecake bites, the moon, cakes, and every pastry OK I've ever tried. I've never ordered something from here that I didn't like. The staff have always being friendly and extra helpful to make me comfortable. Just something to be aware of, this place just like many other places in downtown does not have a restroom available to customers.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
Came to this location today because I found out it is finally opened since it was basically closed all of last year due to the pandemic which really sucked because this location is super close to me and ended having to go to the one in K-Town and found out from them that this location was open after writing a review for that location since it was becoming my go to spot. This location is most definitely on the smaller side compared to some of the other 85 locations. It's very convenient for people who are walking and working in downtown because parking is very very hard to find and you are very lucky if you find a meter nearby.
google avatar

Kay K.

Yelp
Yum Yum Yum is all I gotta say. This place is great for office personnel who need a pick me upper in the middle of the day DTLA. Their pastries are reasonably prices and the lattes are goood.
google avatar

Tak L.

Yelp
85 Degrees is a kid's dream come true. You walk in and you're greeted by a plethora of bakery goods that are uniquely different. Squid ink and bacon Is one of the savory treats you will encounter on your visit (on this trip I wanted something on the sweet side) so I tried the pineapple cake; it was horribly dry. The latte was watered down and void of flavor.
google avatar

Lexie G.

Yelp
I ran across this location by accident but was glad to see one downtown LA. Same great choices and same great coffee and teas.
google avatar

Michelle K.

Yelp
Just left this location. Got treated horribly after they told me I took the wrong order when in fact I did not take any drink myself. One of the team members placed all my drinks from my order in a cup holder. One of the drinks was not mine. I went back immediately after realizing One of the drinks was wrong. The woman there took my drink, told me I took the wrong drink and gave me the right drink and didn't let me explain anything. She just walked away. Not nice or friendly. I used to like this location. Oh well. I guess I'll be going somewhere else.

Yelp
Very different from many of the other 85° cafes. Smaller, less selection, and limited seating. Definitely catered to those working and living in the area, and on the go. Located on Wilshire and Hope, close to the 7th Street Metro Station. Favorite - Brioche by far. Especially when it's fresh out of the oven. The loaf is super fluffy, and has a buttery/milky flavor. Best to consume within a day or two. Close second - Choco Bun. The bread itself is wheat and not as sweet, but it has a delicious chocolate filling that is. Can't go wrong with any of their options. I tend to stick with the conventional breads, but there's also savory breads, pastries, and other baked goods. Prices are great for what you get. 85° also has sliced cakes, full cakes, and other goodies in their display case. The beverage options are numerous, ranging from coffee to slushies to teas. Boba in my experience is a hit or miss.

Yelp
Many people wonder why they opened a 85cBakery in the heart of downtown. Yup, it is true that it is small and have no parking, but this is not a location designed to have you sit down and catch up on old times over boba. Instead, this is a location catered to people working downtown where they would come in, grab what they need, and go. *BREAD/ BAKED GOODS* Prices are reasonable. Most baked goods are about $2 a piece. While it is a good gesture to individually package each baked good item, it really irritates me how much plastic they use. My favorite is probably their Spicy Sausage. *CAKE* I don't like the cakes from this store. For some odd reason, they don't look fresh and they don't taste fresh. It is actually embarrassing to serve cake purchased from this store because you usually get some strawberries shriveled up from being in the refrigerator for too long. *DRINKS* I like to come here for seasalt coffee monday ($0.85). However, be prepare to wait for 20-25 minutes for your drinks to be ready. Like I said before, this store is very small, they have only 4-5 seats available by the windows. Definitely not a place where you want to sit and enjoy your breakfast/lunch. With that said, they really need to have both register running during peak hours. Even though this bakery has been open for over a year, the line get ridiculously long during peak breakfast and lunch hours. It is really frustrating for people (like me) that would like to only grab one piece of bread but end up standing in line for 10 minutes for someone to ring me up.
google avatar

Kari T.

Yelp
All 85 to be tastes the same. I really love the Hokkaido egg tarts and the berry tale cream bread. Every time I go there usually not a big selection, which kind of sucks. Definitely eat the bread the same day or the next morning because it gets super hard. The sea salt green tea is pretty good, sometimes they use a lot of cream, so if that's an issue for you let them know to use less. This location in particular is super small but it's right in the middle of dtla so what do you expect? I came around 630ish and I took the last berrytale! The guy at the counter was really nice and even helped my friend pick out a cake.
google avatar

Maruko X.

Yelp
The chain 85C bakery cafe opens at the corner shape store, small and narrow, plenty of choices for bakery and cake, some tray seemed empty or near empty and haven't been filled up, ordered boba tea and sea salt caramel coffee, standard taste.

Yelp
A nice addition to Downtown. However, I wish they had one in what would probably be the obvious area - Little Tokyo, especially next to Daiso. But not a big deal. It's smaller, lunch gets really packed and I heard they run out of stuff by later noon. So we went during lunch, got our coffee and goodies and went back to the office in good timing (thank God it's next to the Metro station). Now Downtown appears to be coming into place with everything all people like. Still waiting for another one in Little Tokyo though :)

Yelp
I'm a big fan of 85 degrees. I was one of the ones anxiously awaiting its arrival and have enjoyed it all along. I love their extremely refreshing grapefruit green tea. It's so nice and tart with just the right amount of sweetness. I could inhale one of these in about 30 seconds, so I really need to restrain myself. My favorite pastries are the classic egg custard tarts right from the oven (the flakiness is wonderful) and the mango custard bun. During my last long flight, I took some of these mango custard buns with me. They really helped cheer me up several hours in.

Yelp
Since their grand opening, I've been a frequent customer at this store. I come here often for drinks, because their price point and quality is great! However, every time I visited since my last review, I've had bad experiences. The workers are VERY rude. There is a bread line, and a cake & drinks only line. The bread line is usually really long, whereas the cake & drinks only line are empty/non-existent. An employee had very bad attitude to some customers who simply asked if the cake & drinks line was open, and she rudely responded with sass and a bad tone. I wasn't the one who she gave attitude to, but that doesn't make it any better. Today, I visited again, in hopes for a better experience. I lined up in the cake & drinks only line, because I was only ordering drinks. The bread line was very long, no surprise. However, the employee behind the cake & drinks only register said "next customer please" and assisted a customer from the bread line when clearly, I was next for DRINKS only. I asked him if the cake & drinks only line was open or not, because I did not want to waste my time in a line where they won't serve me. He rudely replied with "I'll help you after him". After ordering my drinks, they tell me that there is no more Jasmine tea, and told me to opt for Matcha because "they're the same thing". And I'm an avid boba drinker, and matcha is definitely not the same thing as jasmine. I asked for a refund on my order, and left. tl;dr: I give a lot of second chances to 85c, when I shouldn't. I won't be coming back to this location. 2 stars, because drinks are still bomb af, but the workers are rude af.

Yelp
Finally! An reasonably priced baked goods and drinks in DtLA! This Taiwanese import can be found is areas with a high Asian population and found it's way to DtLA. It's hard to believe 85 Degrees C expanded it's operations outside realms of an Asian neighborhood. The pastries, cakes, desserts, and drinks at the DtLA location are similar to most 85 Degree C locations that serve European, Japanese, Taiwanese influenced baked goods. Pastries average below and just above $2. The coffees and teas both hot and iced around about $3 also which are relatively a third less than coffee and bakeries in the area. I'd spend about double at Coco Fresh a few blocks away for the same thing for the same green tea drink. My go to here are the premium milk bun and coconut twist along with an iced grapefruit green tea with lychee jellies. This location is a bit hidden since it's located on Wilshire and Hope Streets. Parking is limited to street parking. This location is relatively new and still working out it's bugs. Been here a few times and it's not that tidy. Also, service is slow with not having change and my drinks aren't properly shaken. If you're a local Downtowner, if's definitely a good place to visit and worth the value for what you purchase. Not worth coming down here unless you're local.

Yelp
The Starbucks of Taiwan One stop shop in the morning. Get your coffee fix, tea fix, sugar fix and even hot dog fix if that's your thing. For the price of one Starbucks pastry you can get three at 85c. For the price of one Starbucks drink you can get two at 85c. Brush up on your Taiwanese pop because with 17 locations now, they're here to stay. Size Matters I know you like big things. How you use it really only goes so far...until size does matter. If you've visited any other 85c Degree location you'll feel the expansive space so you can browse freely and even have enough space to twerk while your doing it. This location is an old Famima and during peak times in the day your corralled like cattle inside the tiny shop and the drink line goes out the front door even with 5 people in line.

Yelp
Fresh bread! NOT! Although 85C opens at 6 am they don't have much bread available. I visited at 6:30am so there were just a few customers. One of the workers kept apologizing to another customer for not having much in the bread/pastry section. While I get that it's early, I was annoyed at the sparse selection. It seemed that only 25% of the bread bins were filled. That's just poor planning in my opinion! I begrudgingly selected 2 items just because I really wanted something to try. And while they were decent, I still felt my first DTLA 85C was a huge letdown. Service was so so. The workers on the floor seemed clueless and focused their attention on one customer trying to buy a few things for her office. The cashier was better more customer service oriented. While I'd like to give DTLA's 85C another try, I'm reluctant to do so in the near future.

Yelp
I was so excited for this 85 degrees to open! I have been here twice, once around 6pm and another time around 1pm. Both times there were limited bread selections. No brioche, no berrytails, no taro bread. I was very disppointed. The store itself is very small also. The line to pay basically blocks the area to get your bread selections. The seating is very limited and parking is street meter parking. Walk if you can.

Yelp
When I was back on LA, I was happy and fortunate to find that 85 C bakery cafe opened up in DTLA. I first went to 85 C when I met some friends in the South Bay. Man, the first time as like stepping into a slice of heaven. The breads are to die for. To DIE FOR. The pastries are also mouth watering. If I could eat everything and not regret getting fat, it would definitely be here. It is easy to come into the bakery thinking of only spending $5 and leaving spending $20. Man. Addiction is a b$@%#h.

Yelp
This was my first time at this location. Normally I go to the one in Pasadena. I preferred this location! They have a lot of options and their pastries were actually still warm. None of the pastries at the Pasadena location are ever very warm, and I've been there a few times. In addition, the staff were very efficient! I've never seen such quick employees. Even though there was quite a long line, it moved quickly. The pastries are reasonably priced, all between $1-4 or so. The garlic bread was my favorite savory pastry, and the red bean was my favorite sweet pastry. I wouldn't make a special trip to this location since downtown is sort of a pain in terms of parking, but if I'm ever downtown and it's convenient, I'd drop by again for some deliciousness!

Yelp
I love 85C! It is such a good place to get coffee and pastry- I like the fact that it tastes good and it is relatively cheap. Cannot stop coming. I love all of their pastries- But I like the one with taro a lot. Also, the coffee bread is good. I hope they keep coming up with new pastry- So far I have not seen much change but new breads. I hope I can taste more good stuff. 85C can get busy. I have also seen when there weren't enough staff. But overall, really love this place. And will keep coming back. Thank you 85C!

Yelp
My cousin told me about this bakery and I just needed to RAVE about the AMAZING Milk Tea Buns!!! They are a game changer and I wish they had them on the east coast. It is essentially a milk tea bun with a mochi and milk tea custard inside. I went bun crazy and bought the Strawberry, Matcha, and Milk tea buns as well as an espresso bun, egg tart, and their Portuguese tart. I loved the strawberry as much as the regular bun but overall it was a memorable experience. I loved every second of it and wish I can relive it in New York.

Yelp
Good pastries for cheap. Very similar concept to Paris Baguette in that it's lots of pastries for 2-3 dollars each. They constantly have fresh pastries coming out and whenever they come out all the employees say "Fresh bread!" no matter what kind of pastry it is. This particular location is pretty small so while you can sit and eat I'd say it's more of a grab and go location. Also the selection of pastries here is probably a lot smaller than at other larger locations. For the pastries with meat on/in them, you should know they can't heat them up for you, so you either need to bring it home and microwave it or eat it cold, just an FYI. Would recommend getting the other kind of pastries instead.

Yelp
Service: Disappointing. Probably the slowest franchise I've ever been to. And oh! They even forgot to sweeten my drink. It wasn't even busy. It would be understandable if there were a lot of people and stuff but no.. I was the only person in the line. Bread: Can't say anything about the bread because they all taste the same no matter what location. Drink: mediocre boba. Forgot to sweeten it so not bad but not what I asked for.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! They have a big selection of pastries. I bought a little bit of everything and was in love with everything I bought. I like that they also serve coffee. The only down fall is the parking, it's bad! The service was good, they were prompt and still managed to greet everyone entering.

Yelp
The strawberry cake was divine as always. So fluffy and fresh. Delicious treat. Always fresh everytime I ordered it. It's divine. The strawberry is always fresh. My absolute fave. Everything else from my order though fell short and disappointed me. The blackforest and red velvet were not fresh. They were dry and was not satisfying. The deluxe chocolate was old, dry and tasted bad. It was not good this time... we've ordered before and they were good, dunno what happened... I would suggest for the this place to always serve fresh baked cakes. They are so good.
