85°C Bakery Cafe - Katy

We recently visited 85°C Bakery Cafe in Katy, Texas this past Saturday to pick up some bakery items for our trip to visit family in Austin — and we’re so glad we did! Every single item we selected was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. Our family absolutely loved the treats, and so did we! This was our second experience with 85°C, after visiting their Sugar Land location earlier, and we’re happy to say the quality and taste were just as impressive here. From the soft breads to the creamy pastries and specialty drinks, everything had that unique touch that makes 85°C stand out. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the Katy area or planning to share something special with loved ones. Great service, clean environment, and a delicious variety of baked goods. We’ll be back again soon!

One of my favorite bakeries. I enjoy walking in and seeing all the beautiful pastries. I advise every patron to use the trays provided. I thought I didn’t need a try but ended up dropping a roll on the floor. 🙁 A variety of sweets to choose from. I bought the white toast bread, matcha chocolate bun and limited time - taro mochi boroh. All were delicious and fresh.

Got surprised with the chocolate mousse cake for my birthday and wow. It is delicious. Highly recommend, especially if you're a chocoholic!

This 85C Bakery Cafe is better than the one on Bellaire. Their drinks taste better than Bellaire. Also, the parking isn't so horrendous at this location. There's also a lot of options in this plaza, so it's worth coming to the area. Staff are friendly and efficient. Their top sealer was not working effectively, so rather than leave it to the patron to deal with leaks, they switched to a boba lid and added a sticker on top to avoid spillage.

Not a big selection of breads or pastries. All of them are COLD. I also found the bread rather chewy and not fresh. It was also too sweet to eat and taste the flavours in it, how can you taste them if you can only taste sugar. I also purchased so savoury pastries but they don’t heat them at the cafe? I was looking for a place to have a nice breakfast but, ended up throwing the bread away into the bin. Place was DIRTY! I had to grab a napkin and clean the seat and table. This was really a horrible experience. The cashier was friendly.

Amazing French Bakery! There's are so many amazing options of savory and sweet and they all are priced at a reasonable price. I highly recommend trying out their matcha strawberry drink it is so delicious! For newbies: This is a cafeteria style service. So, when you walk in just grab a tray and start picking out what you like. Then head to the counter when your ready to pay! Please note that to order drinks you need to go up to the counter in order to do so or the self-service kiosk they have available.

I love 85! It’s cafeteria style service, so grab a tray and walk around picking out your favorite desserts. They have plenty of croissants, buns, and cakes to choose from. I’ve never had anything disappoint me, so choose what calls to you. They bake it fresh everyday so if you come towards the end of the day the pickings will be slim. Overall, this is my favorite bakery with such good prices.

Go-To bakery! Their selection is amazing and cheap as a bonus. Their sweets are not too sweet, so you can enjoy it without worry. Still if you’re not exactly a sweet tooth, they have savoury options such as their famous garlic cheese bread. The staff is so charming and help out wherever they can. I adore the bakery and make frequent trips whenever I can.
