"A good part of the local population is of the opinion that Pierre Hermé makes the best macarons in the city. As for the éclairs, croissants, and cakes? You'll just have to do the taste-testing for yourself. This particular outpost is massive, with a sumptuous Art Deco interior to match the contents of the pastry cases. A pretty box of Hermé’s delicately-flavored macarons veloutés (essentially meringue-like macaroons stuffed with a creamy filling) never fails to impress and makes for the perfect, easily-packed gift to bring back home. The bakery had amazing desserts. We loved the chocolate, the macaroons, and other pies we purchased. We decided to stay at the restaurant. We asked for a table for two and as we were entering, the manager in a very rough tone said: you can’t eat the dessert here otherwise we will charge you a fee, which didn’t make any sense because we got everything at the bakery. We ordered a cheese platter and our entrees right away because we were starving. We waited 30 minutes for them to bring a basket a bread. I complained to my server, nada. We still had to wait. Waiting was not really an issue, it was observing how the restaurant manager talked to the servers, pointing his fingers at them and raising his voice. So rude and arrogant. This was very unpleasant to see. On top of that, some servers were coughing on their hands then touching the plates, Lord I could have died. Regarding our food, the cheese platter was ok, we ordered potatoes and chicken, which was a 6/10. We took our dessert home to eat in fear of being charged a fee😩😩😩. The ridiculousness of it all!!! I hope they train this manager better. He needs to learn how to talk to people and respect customers.

I had such a lovely experience. We only waited about five minutes to be seated, and the staff were very kind and welcoming. The pastries were absolutely delicious fresh, buttery, and full of flavour. I had a blueberry cocktail and my friend had champagne both were amazing! Great service, wonderful atmosphere, and everything tasted really, really good. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Paris! And clean toilets 🤭

Google
Very nice place and not crowded. The decoration is very elegant and the staff is very nice. The desserts/food are expensive, but were good. Loved the mocktail too.

I recently visited the store on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, and I was lucky to be assisted by Elena. I was absolutely delighted with the experience! From the very first moment, her professionalism and passion for her work were clear. She provided wonderful recommendations, was incredibly attentive, and made the entire shopping experience a true pleasure. I left the store with lots of great purchases and a big smile. I highly recommend this store and especially Elena – she’s fantastic!

Google
Adja and Aicha were EXCELLENT!!!! I came in with a friend to browse and ended up getting a bunch of great stuff . She was polite, kind, and welcoming. She made me comfortable even though I don’t speak French and haven’t had the best experience in other stores as a result . She assisted me with questions and even suggested products I might like ( and did and purchased). She even had my cologne engraved! My friend and I will be back before we leave to go back to the US. to purchase more ! We came back in and Aicha helped us ( as Asha was off). Her customer service was stellar and she even made us laugh! Extremely helpful as well . Thanks for all your help Aicha!

Google
I had an absolutely great experience that I’m certain was because of the friendly, VERY helpful, and EXTREMELY easy to talk to, Vicki! He helped me pick out the perfect fragrance for my wife (birthday present - she loves it!) on the first try. Great customer service!

Google
I must see the time absolutely amazed of a personal care of the store employees. Kind , nice and helpful every step of the way. I purchase some perfume for my wife and my mother. The offered a personalized engraving on the bottle as a gift. Omg, just amazing! My wife and I loved it. Selection of macaroons are fantastic that goes without saying :-) The cafe outside is also great!

Google
Great place well laid out, easy access and helpful staff (Michelle) - we had a great customer experience journey and felt welcomed and attended to throughout our visit. Also had a few bottles engraved with initials (LG). Easy place to find, well staffed, abundantly stocked and lots of choices on display with testers available.

Yelp
Smell good and tastes good! What Quite interesting at this combo! I bumped into this store while walking and didn't know what to expect. Ofcourse the macarons has attracted me and ofcourse I got myself 4 in the souvenir tin! It was super hard to pick 4 out of the many flavors there. But I picked 4 and they were not sweet at all. Tastes great! Environment On the main walking street, you can't miss it. The inside has a lot going on, it is a store, a pastry shop or a cafe! The line system for the pastries was almost non-existence.. but Im glad I was able to get the introduction to the flavors and wasn't busy. But I can see it can get chaotic. Once you make the selection you get a slip to make the payment. Niceness of the staff Despite the amount of people walking inland out and looking, the staff was very patient as I calmed my sensors down. Dollar All macarons are expensive I see. It is close to 3 euro per! When I thought the US macarons were expensive.. it is just as expensive in the homeland! Yes/No I definitely would return here

Yelp
Outstanding. We lucked out and got a corner booth seat which was perfect for my companions and me. The best IG photo op - everyone seated around us was envious of our seat. There was a line for the inside tables on a rainy day but it went quick and the wait was less than 10 minutes. The aesthetic of the interiors is just as delicious as their food. One did not compromise the other. We ordered the baked salmon entrees and the variety of macarons addition. We loved it all! Service was good - make sure to check your bill as they mistakenly overcharged us as the waiters were switching shifts. The bathroom is downstairs and requires a code.

Yelp
Stopped by for a cappuccino to have with the Pierre Hermé croissant. I'm not usually one for cappuccino but this was good! Rich and smooth and delicious! Isfahan Croissant was amazing!! It's got a rose, lichi and raspberry something filling on the inside and is just AMAZIMG! It was so good that after finishing one among four of us, we went and brought another! Only downside is that there was a surcharge for every food item here that we got from the actual Pierre Hermé. Got some macarons from the store, but if we ate them while seated at this cafe, they'd charge us extra!

Yelp
This is a unique café : L'Occitane de Provence boutique and Pierre Hermé Patisserie & Café. I had an incredible lunch at the café. The food was delicious. A great respite after trodding up and down the Champs Élysée. Prettily set plate. A cup of tea with a pot to be refilled. Excellent service too. The scents from the L'Occitane products filled the room. How lovely is that? Psst, café patrons can use the WC for fre I bought some lovely L'Occitane products and also a unique tote (one of a kind) made especially for this café. Delicieux & Trés agréable experience.

Yelp
Beautiful environment, yummy drinks. What else do you need?? Paris is The macaroons were so good!!! They have a couple different hot chocolates too
google avatar

Charles C.

Yelp
Beautiful ambience outside if the weather is good and beautiful ambience inside too! As it was raining we ate inside. Service was slow... but so cordial and cheerful. To be honest I really wanted to love both the food and dessert, but they were just good and eye popping Champs-Elysees prices.
google avatar

Nadia B.

Yelp
This collaboration is so unexpected!! Pierre Herme's macarons is my all time favorite, so I have to try this cafe, and it's located on Champs-Elyses. Staff is friendly and attentive. The macarons & passion fruit dessert are delicious, as expected from Pierre Herme. Tried the special holiday hot chocolate; it's a bit too sweet but it's still really good. Will definitely come back here again on my next trip.

Yelp
This has got to go down as a nicest and most heavily staffed L'Occitane we've ever been to. Service was very proactive and professional... Presentation with displays were beyond textbook perfect. It's like...WOW! My spouse & daughters seemed to thoroughly enjoy the experience. I don't think I've ever seen so many macaroons before & certainly never displayed so beautifully... Nor have I ever seen such a busy busy busy store of this type! So many buying macarons, dining in the cafe & buying/browsing before. It's an incredibly welcoming environment. Superior staff encounters.... So perfect. Why only 5 stars? If 7 or 9 were an option ... If complain why can't I give more stars!!!

Yelp
Perfume disguised as a pastry or a pastry shop that doubles as a perfumery ‍ It really doesn't matter because it's a good place for a quick bite if you ask me. I would only do desserts there but other items are on the menu. Pictured is a vanilla tarte(ish) dessert. I can't remember the name but the dessert was heavenly. Silky smooth was the custard and man I've never had a crust so tasty. See you next time
google avatar

Steven W.

Yelp
The store is a cafe and an actual store to buy L'Occitane products. We had a great sales woman who spoke English very well as she was engaging and knowledgeable. The cafe itself had drinks and highlighted macaroons. The products were great and they had testers for specific items. On the weekends, it is definitely busier than a weekday.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm not sure who decided that shopping for perfume and macarons go together but they were right. This is a good place for a combo souvenir to bring home to family and friends. Outstanding staff.

Yelp
Pierre Hermé at L'Occitane was my first dessert stop on my 3 week Paris trip, and all I can say is way to set the standard high! We arrived when it opened at10:30am on a Wednesday. The queue quickly built up after us, but service was very prompt. In general, customer service was excellent. All the employees were friendly and helpful. We ordered several things including a pistachio croissant, a couple of macarons, and a couple of petites gateaux. I absolutely loved the croissant, it was nice and flaky, and the real treat was the chocolate and pistachio filling. I'm not a huge fan of macarons, but I had the pleasure of trying Pierre Hermé's foie gras macaron and really enjoyed it. It was so unique and delightful with the slightest savory flavor from the foie gras. The little cakes we got were the 2000 feuilles and plaisir sucré. I love feulletine, so I was highly satisfied with the crunchy texture and hazelnut flavor of 2000 feuilles. It was also very rich and buttery. The plaisir sucré was delicious as well.

Yelp
Positioned on the famous Avenue des Champs-Elyses, this spot stood out to us as a good place to stop. They only serve desserts -- ones from the famous French chef, Pierre Herme. But, you can enjoy a range of pastries and drinks while sitting on this luxury avenue. It's very pricey for sure. But, everything we tasted was very good. Worth it just for the experience.
google avatar

Ellie C.

Yelp
Pierre Hermé has the best macarons in the world! I go there to get desserts every time I visit Paris and I was able to dine in for the very first time since the pandemic during my most recent visit. The seating areas are pretty chic and comfy. The servers are good with giving recommendations and advice. The store is well decorated with flowers and beautiful sofas - very Instagrammable and perfect for ladies tea time. I tried their new Eiffel Tower cake and it tastes super yum!!! I love everything I ordered this time and can't wait to visit again.
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
The best croissant I have ever had ever! I dream of their flaky original & their lychee raspberry, which was also flaky with the perfect amount of sweetness. I wish I could eat it everyday. The macarons were delectable and the flavors were also on point. Whenever I'm in Paris, I always make sure I stop by here a few times.

Yelp
I asked the 2 hostesses that we can sit and order to use their restroom. Waiter took a while and when he was asked to come, the skinny waiter takes the order, slams our drinks and cake on the table. We were very polite regardless. We paid $40 for 2 drinks and a small mediocre cake. Also the 2 girls in front were just as rude and I had to ask for the toilette key again! Fortunately, we didn't have to tip, so good!!

Jay T.

Yelp
Ordered 6 but was only packed 5. Found out after paying. Be careful with these youngsters who are messing up with English speaking foreigners

Yelp
We had to do Pierre Herme in Paris, right? Location: Right on Avenue des Champs-Elysees What we got? €9.5 for 3 macaroons: Ispahan: Right amount of sweet and flavor, it was good! Infiniment Caramel: My new fave! So good! Mogador: Not bad, but a bit too sweet for my liking €8.5 Café creme: Pretty mediocre! €18 Sensation ultime: Delicious! One of the Star desserts at the store. Our server recommended this and it didn't disappoint. It was flavorful, crunchy, well-balanced, every bite was enjoyable! Pros: Perfect location. It's a great spot to go after shopping! Service was good. Our server was helpful and very polite. Cons: The store itself is a bit too small and the seats are way too intimate! All in all, it's a good spot for girls to go if they're ever around Champs-Elysees. One way to enjoy take out only dining is to enjoy your meals outdoors by picnic at the park. Tips: Only €2.20-2.50 each macaroon, a box 7 for €18 (Do your math, cheaper than dining indoors)

Yelp
Came here for lunch and had a great experience with the food but, service is a tad slow which it's ok the server was great.

Yelp
Sooo, i usually don't notice racism but the gentleman in the picture, all of a sudden stopped serving macaroons when it came to my friend and mine turn. He conveniently went to the other side to help someone else. Once we were served, he came back over and served macaroons again. A nice Asian girl served us. Disappointing and I'm not posting if the macaroons are good or not. Maybe some training is needed bc my euro spends the same as everyone else.

Yelp
Got back to the hotel opened it up and when i cut it I saw it had mold.. kinda bummed

Yelp
Great people watching here, and outstanding patisserie. Sit outside and take your time. Your'e in Paris!

Yelp
Had a good dinner on our first day/night at this place- was initially planning to just get dessert cause that's what they are know for. My picky son loved his madame croque. My salmon was perfect with crispy skin and great carrot purée side. Must make room for dessert. Got the popular 2000 Feuilles- so delicious. I have tried 7 different macaroons places including mcdonald - lol. Hermès has the best. Must try their mogodar- chocolate passion fruit- and salted caramel.
google avatar

Yelp
Over priced but good macarons. This store is collocated with L'Occitane which was cool to be able to shop for macarons and hand cream at the same time.

Shahin M.

Yelp
Flashy, pretty, nice location, but like all restaurants off Champs Elysees feel more like tourist trap, quality and quality of service is uncorrelated with price. Ordered fruit bowl for kids breakfast, it was called "fresh fruit", while it was all from canned fruit, like dollar store fruit cans, bitter and tasteless. Coffee was good, staff was very friendly, nice and spoke great english.
google avatar

Hannah M.

Yelp
Since Paris is known for their macarons, I had been trying macarons at different places and decided to give this place a try. At first I was walking around the L'Occitane store and wandered into the Pierre Herme section and decided to try some. The woman helping me could not have been any sweeter and more helpful, she made it really easy for me to choose the 3 macarons I wanted to try. There were so many options, but I ended up choosing one of their best sellers--the raspberry one--a rose and raspberry mixture macaron, and a vanilla macaron. All of them were really tasty and well made. I was in macaron heaven haha. Overall, if anyone is trying to find a good macaron place, this would be one of the places to consider/try. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it's not as bad as some other places.
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
I was in heaven when I found this shop for some delicious macarons. I'm sure we all have heard of Pierre Hermé and the quality truly speaks for itself. I ordered the Signature 7 box (cute box, souvenir style) and you get pick from a wide selection of flavors. The price is right under €20. Some might say that's too much but it's sure worth it. To be honest, I love all the flavors I picked so there's no favorites here. You just have to try it for yourself when in Paris. This particular PH shares their space with L'Occitane so you can shop for lotion, soap, etc while you're already there.
google avatar

Linda C.

Yelp
I am a big fan of pastries especially French pastries in Paris. Paris is like the home of pastries galore with their attention to detail in flavor, presentation and execution. Pierre Herme has many locations that sell their wonderful macarons and some pastries and chocolates but this is the one to go to if you want a sit down experience as it's a full cafe too. It's mixed into a L'Occitane store so you can go shopping before or after for some skin care products. Location: conveniently located on the Champs Elysees inside the L'Occitane store. There are a few tables and a booth you can sit at. You're handed an iPad-like device to peruse their menu to decide what you want. You can pick items and a waiter or waitress will come and review your order when you're ready. The menu is all pictures and can be read in English if you choose that option. Staff: For the most part the staff is pretty efficient. They're not the friendliest no matter what language you speak but I wasn't there to chat with the staff. I was there to eat pastries and macarons. They can be a little slow at times so be patient. Food: I ordered a hot chocolate and a Hazelnut Dacquoise cake. Their hot chocolate was the perfect amount of sweetness for me; meaning it wasn't very sweet at all. The chocolate was rich in flavor. The Dacquoise was rich and had the perfect balance between hazelnut and chocolate. I couldn't finish the entire thing as it was too rich for me in one sitting so I had it wrapped to go. Overall, I'd say this is definitely an experience worth trying if you're in Paris.
google avatar

Mindy T.

Yelp
Beautiful store with Pierre Herme desserts in the middle and L'Occitane along the walls. The macarons and desserts were good, but I found the service to be lacking. To be fair, this store is crazy busy due to its location along the Champs-Élysées avenue. I just felt like they weren't in the mood to answer questions and wanted to get on with the next person. I was overwhelmed by the variety they had so it would've been nice to be able to have time to look at the options. If you're like me, then I'd go to another Pierre Herme.
google avatar

Uyen N.

Yelp
After a long walk for sightseeing, my sister and I picked this restaurant because the inside decor is fancy, which guaranteed clean toillets. :)) Anyways, we both thought this restaurant is too touristy and didn't expect anything great from it. To our surprise, the iced green tea and the ice-creams blowed our minds. The iced tea was not sweet, nor bitter. It had a refreshing fragrance of green tea floral and fruity. I reminds me of a walk in a beautiful garden. I wish the drink size is larger. This is only 1/3 of normal American drink size. LoL Ohhh... and the ice creams are by far the best I've ever had. They have very light sweetness which is only 2/10 of Haagen Daz or Ben & Jerry icecream. Like the tea, the fragrance of rose raspberry and bergamot are the key here. So delicious. The experience was so good that i ended up buying a box of macaroons. Don't forget to sample L'Occitane hand lotion. The citrus fragrance of the lotion completed the whole experience here. Now I understand why the skincare is sold a long w the dessert bars. Their fragrance are very similar.
google avatar

Chloe K.

Yelp
A nice cafe on Champs-Élysées. You can have some drink, macarons and some small cakes while making some shopping. It provides both cafe and shopping together. If you like to get your drink as takeaway, price will be almost half of taking a table.
google avatar

Miss Lady ..

Yelp
Odd pairing between a perfume and skincare shop with high class desserts and macarons, but here Pierre Herme has given us the option of sitting down and enjoying his desserts. I am disappointed to say that I had the ispahan and it had very little cream. I was not able to enjoy The Fragrant Rose taste and the lychee as I have been looking forward to. Either way they had lots of options. In addition to the cafe indoors they also have a cafe outside on the street, and in colder weather it is shaded and has heaters overhead to keep you warm. I recommend this shop.
google avatar

Mu G.

Yelp
We waited in a long line to get over priced ice cream. There were no spots inside to sit so we took it to go. We sat outside the store in a closed mall on the floor and ate. A security guard came and asked us to go sit inside. We found a spot in the ice cream shop and were promptly asked by the staff to leave because our containers were to-go. Absolutely ridiculous. Do NOT recommend.
google avatar

Mary D.

Yelp
This is OUR spot for dessert whilst in Paris. The tarte infinitement vanille is sublime! And the macaroons at Hermé?! run circles against the other place. But don't take me word for it, come see for yourself
google avatar

Jeofrey B.

Yelp
This is our first time here and we thought we are getting good food and great experience dining here. Service not okay, food has hair. Definitely not coming back.
google avatar

Pablo D.

Yelp
Macarons were pretty good but some better than others. I feel I tried some of the best I have ever had here but some were disappointing. FYI, 12 pieces were around 35€
google avatar

Helen C.

Yelp
So.... we decided to dine in and try the pastries. First, inside the restaurant they wouldn't take our name on the wait list because the list was too long. Then, we decided to dine out on their patio. Ordered water with my food and coffee. My water did not come when our food arrived. Asked my waiter 2 times and nothing happened. So, I asked the Matre'd. He said ok and went on with other stuff. I managed to ask a third staff... this guy was mad at me. Brought my water, slammed it on my table and left. What a terrible and horrible service when the pastries and coffee cost twice and three times the price elsewhere. (Min. for pastries is €15 and coffee is €9.) Don't mind paying for good food but I also expected good service to match the brand image.
google avatar

Movses C.

Yelp
Good service and delicious macarons. We tried several flavors. They have one with cream cheese which was recommended by the guy behind the counter. It was one of the best.

Tj J.

Yelp
I actually went here two nights in a row and the waiter recalled us. That's how good it was! The only downfall is because of the touristy area you will get children and screaming kids even though on both nights but that's not a reflection on the restaurant just on the type old crowd the restaurant attracts
google avatar

Rosemary N.

Yelp
It was such a treat to experience the hybrid of gastronomic and olfactory sensations one hot evening last August. Their skin care products and perfume are the best. On the sweet side, I had to indulge on the rose poached, rose and cumin sorbet. It was an extraordinary awakening for the ordinary taste bud. I did not realize that a rose petal was even edible. This place is a must to visit when you are in Paris!
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
Came by here to pickup some last minute macarons to bring home. You can leave it in room temperature for up to 4 days, accordingly to the cashier there when I asked. Macarons are pretty expensive, 40€ for two boxes of 7. However, I did get to choose from a wide selection of flavors and picked some new options they have. Their macarons are good because they're not too sweet and has awesome texture when you bit into it. I also was very happy with the worker helping me pack my macarons because she wrote down all the flavors onto a paper for me to take home since I wouldn't remember. Service on that gives this place an extra star. This location also shares a space with L'occitane (the lotion, scent brand). People also come here to eat so there's seating outside and inside too
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
I'm not usually a fan of macarons, but they sure make great souvenirs to bring back home to the office! A friend recommended Pierre Herme, and Champs Elysee was the most convenient location for us. Entering the shop, it looked strange that they sell skincare right alongside their pastries, but as another review mentioned, the two compliment each other with their subtle, floral scents. The shop was buzzing with curious on-lookers, but they separate shoppers by having them come behind a queue barrier. I was pleasantly surprised by the cheeriness of the staff behind the counter, as they helped explain each and every macaron flavor in perfect English, packaging the macarons safely and securely in their colorful box, which comes with a brochure of all the flavors (with pictures!) so you don't have to remember which is which. Overall, a pleasant experience: I was helped with all my needs from multiple friendly staff members. On a side note, we also bought some macarons from McDonald's for a side-by-side comparison. Back home, I wouldn't have minded the McMacaron, but I can see now that it is absolute garbage in comparison to Pierre Herme. The McMacaron flavor seems artificial and far too overpowering, and texture was very chewy, while the PH macaron flavor was delicate with the light and crisp texture and extravagantly heavy, creamy filling.

Yelp
Seated on patio after a long day of sightseeing. Took some time for a waitress to visit with us, but seems normal Parisian service in tourist area. Upon ordering, were told that they are out of one of the main chocolate desserts. Made a second dessert choice, along with main courses. Approx 20 minutes later, server returned to tell us that the kitchen was closed. Frustrating to sit and wait 20 mins for that news. Unacceptable waste of time. Then another 10 mins wait for the bill to pay for 2 beverages we did receive during our wait for the news that we would not receive food. Should have just left. The desserts we saw looked amazing. I did not see any of the food. Did not taste anything. Can only say that the service left quite a bit to be desired.

Yelp
OMG the best of what Paris has to offer L'Occitane and Pierre Hermes. I noticed the store on the Champs-Elysee as new. The sweet and friendly saleswoman gave us the tour and explained all the various scents and ingredients they used. I came back the morning of my last day to buy the perfect souvenirs for my friends, the soaps they made based on the popular flavors of macarons. The packaging was beautiful.
google avatar

Christopher G.

Now this place is awesome. It's a concept store between Hermé and L'Occitane. They have the full line of L'Occitane and even some rare limited edition lotions that you can't find anywhere else. The macarons are exquisite. Don't skimp. We got a box of 24 macarons or one of every flavour; not even 70€ and so worth it. Hermé takes a different approach to macaron than Ladurée as he pairs some daring flavours together. I cannot recommend this boutique enough.
