Incredible vegan options!! Especially the vegan spare ribs, it’s hard to know the difference honestly. All the sauces on the entree dishes are unique and flavorful. We loved the vegan nuggets and sesame chicken as well. Excited to come back and try the rest of the V options!

I rated this 4 star because they were nice to me, my wife, and my 4 year old son and the place was very clean and bright. The food wasn’t bad but I know it could be better. But I really liked the sesame chicken with fresh broccoli and the shrimp friend rice with plenty and jumbo size shrimps!

I LOVE IT HERE!! I take my friends here whenever and it’s so good everytime! The main worker is so sweet and attentive, amazing service! The food is delicious, and at a very good price. i would come back everyday if i could!! 🧡🧡

We got 4 dinner meals for a total of $48. Price is decent and comparable to other Chinese restaurants. Dinners ordered were Kung Pao chicken, General Tso's, Beef w/ Mushrooms, and Beef Lo Mein. The Kung Pao chicken wasn't very spicy. General Tso's was good. The Beef Lo Mein was loaded with Beef. The noodle to carrot ratio was almost equal. Would've been better to have more noodles. Beef with mushrooms has some odd smelling and tasting vegetable inside. It smells like a squished millipede or pee. We had to literally pick them all out. Picture below is of that vegetable. Overall it is our most ordered Chinese restaurant we choose.

Ordered door dash Sesame chicken, house special rice and broccoli with egg roll and I can see why they are the best in the area. They get 5 billion stars

My Chinese food standards are high being from Brooklyn New York. Now that I put that out there I was skeptical to even try this place. It's really hard for me to find good Chinese food from outside of New York. When I do find good Chinese food the people running the place typically at one point lived in New York. Lol.. I kept it really simple with my order. They vegetable soup I had was okay at best. The fried rice was surprisingly okay. I usually don't like fried rice that is yellow like that. The chicken was mehhhhhh. Definitely won't try this place again. The restaurant was VERY clean & the gentleman that took my order was cool but the lady that gave me my food seemed to be very dry & stale.🤷🏾‍♂️

I was recommended to this place by a coworker because I'm new to the area...I got the house special Mei fun and it was the best I ever tasted and it took me three settings to eat and I also got shrimp egg rolls, the place was clean, I will definitely try again

We got chicken fried rice, pretty decent. The place was neat and clean. Enough seating for dine in. Customer service was fast. Good place for a quick lunch

When to 88China today been a little while since I've gone there. Anyway, ordered the BBq Boneless Spare Ribs w/ pork fried rice. This was 100% NOT what I thought I was going to been eating. New chef management ‍ I don't know but, I won't be going back!!!!!!! $12 for this!!! Unacceptable!!!! Do better!

The people here are some of the nicest people you will ever meet! The room is nostalgic of the other Chinese restaurants around. It brings joy and a smile to your face. The food in the words of my friend is soooo goood!!!! Come here and get some delicious food with a side of smile from the workers!

Spicy Shrimp & Broccoli with steamed rice was very good. Curry Shrimp & Broccoli with steamed rice was very good. Spicy Shrimp Curry and Spicy Chicken Curry with steamed rice were both very good. Mixed Vegetable Soup was full of vegetables and broth had good flavor. Ginger Shrimp with Bok Choy and veg fried rice was okay. Spicy Shrimp Pad Thai had plenty onions and was good. Spicy Chicken With Mixed Vegetables & steamed rice was good, probably would be better without spicy seasoning. Spicy Shrimp & Scallops in garlic sauce was okay, over-seasoned. Scallops smaller than expected. House Special Lo Mein with shrimp & chicken was prepared fresh and served hot. Lo-Mein was good, could've used more chicken. This restaurant is very casual, mostly takeout. Owner is hardworking & wonderful person.

I have been a fan of 88 China noodle bowls for some now. Recently they have become careless about their pick up dishes (ingredients left out) and when you try to get it corrected, they try to get more money from you. I wouldn't go there anymore. And I was a regular customer!

Damn its been years since i had really good chinese food like this. I been to many places around here and this is definitely the best one i had.

This is my place to go for a quick Chinese food. Good price too. My favorite is the shrimp with lobster sauce

I have to warn people - i picked up an order got home and didn't see my sons white rice so i called to see if i could drive back and pick it up the girl on the phone started yelling at me saying it was in the container (my fried rice was in a separate container) i pulled back the meat and veggies and saw the rice i told her so but she wouldn't nt stop yelling i asked to stop and listen i found the rice but she just kept yelling at me so i hung up. then another woman calls me back (mother?) and starts yelling at me too, she would not listen either they are completely off their rockers my food was good - my sons was not you know they have my number - i will never go back to these people fearing spit in my soup - they are completely unstable, and calling me back to HARASS me was not appreciated at all

Just wasn't good. The sesame chicken tasted sour. The pork fried rice tasted more like white rice. Prices are good though.

My family and I on a whim decided we wanted Chinese food for dinner so based on the reviews, we chose this place. The food was ok. We got Chicken Lo Mein and Moo Goo Gai Pan dinner specials. We also ordered an appetizer of Crab Rangoon. The appetizer was the unanimous favorite of the meal. My husband and I both had chicken in our meals and agreed it was wierd. I don't really know how to describe it, he says slimy, I just say weird. The lo main noodle were very good and the pork fried rice was ok. It was definitely better than some other Chinese food I got, and the price was right. We spent like $21 for everything and it fed me, my husband and 2 toddlers with leftovers. We would definitely come again; however, I'd probably get a vegetarian option since the chicken was, well...weird.

Prompt service and delicious food. I originally came in for dine-in service but had a sudden change of plans. The staff was able to quickly make my order to go and got me on my way. The dining room is clean and comfortable. I will be coming again.

Chicken stick was BURNT!! I politely told the lady at the counter and her English was very bad and she attempts to explain "that's how it's made" in an aggressive and rather frustrated tone because she didn't know how to fully convey her thoughts because of the language barrier. I decided to order chicken wings instead and the portion was SMALL!! Literally no meat on the wings! I would NEVER return simply based on the lack of customer service and portion. If theirs anything good I can say about this place is their soups are great, my wife was happy but I surely wasn't!

88 China is fantastic it's the best Chinese food in the area hands-down. Everything is super delicious it's quick and I'm so glad they're open again during the pandemic.

I used to enjoy the food but lately the food doesn't taste as fresh as it used to when they first opened. The rice is extremely hard. I'm not sure if it's leftover rice or it's not cooked enough. It's very disappointing the food just isn't as good.

I have gotten takeout from here about 6 times. One thing, their shrimp wontons and dumplings (and the dipping sauce they come with) are amazing, I could probably down about 3 dozen of them. I really like the soup options, and that you can pick your own noodle type. If you get the soup to go, they even put the broth on the side so the noodles don't get soggy, thoughtful. The kitchen is open to the front, so I could see that it is kept sufficiently clean. The prices are very reasonable. Would come way more often if it was closer to my house, but we go pretty much every opportunity we get. Service has always been friendly and welcoming. Really great place, coming from someone who dines almost exclusively Asian food due to a food allergy.

The food at 88 China is delicious. Every time I order from them for food is always hot and delicious. they have wonderful customer service. This is the best Chinese food place outside of Boston Massachusetts. This is the only Chinese food place I will get my food from.

I'll make this quick: - Good shrimp rolls - Good brown rice - Odd mushy chicken in Kung Pao and otherwise not much flavor - Mediocre service - Uncomfortable seating because lack of separated vestibule allows blasts of ice cold air - Didn't offer tea -Outrageously crappy miniscule napkins in table dispensers were a total pain in the ass. This is what you'd expect at a $1 ball park hot dog stand. Toilet paper is thicker. This is a sign of a profoundly stingy owner who didn't give a damn about customer convenience and experience. No reason to return.

They have my most favorite dish from Manhattans Chinatown. Roast pork with egg noodle and dumplings. That is about $11 in manhattan or so, depending where you go. It's lovely. I liked it so much I bought another and one to go! The store itself is nestled near the Walmart complex. The one down side is that this place needs to be larger in scale. The interior is quite small. 88China has so much potential for a new small business to sprawl out. I love it.

Great little place for lunch or take-out. I'm fond of the traditional soups. Super friendly service; they know I like my food spicy so they always offer to spice it up for me even if it's not a spicy dish.

This is our new go to place for Chinese takeout. Love the high quality food, clean flavors of the dishes. The noodle soups are delicious! Crab Rangoon and spring rolls fried exceptionally well. Everything tastes like the dish that it is, instead of that fried food taste you can sometimes experience at other Chinese takeout places. We tried this place on a whim, and so happy we did!

The few people down there putting 1 out of 5 are full of crap. I been here 20 to 30 times, it is the best darn new Chinese place in the valley. Ignore the few low reviews, they are absolute garbage! Enjoy your meal!

I can't remember ever having strip mall type Chinese / American-ese that I enjoyed as much as this. Really excellent Comfort Chinese food! It's done really well - that's the secret. The flavors are really clean. The recipes were clearly developed by someone who is themself a foodie. The shrimp won wonton noodle soup is a must-have! Everything I've had here - I would say I've had 20 - 30 - dishes has been excellent. No disappointments at all. And I am admittedly a tough customer with high standards. If you're looking for good old American-ese style food I don't think you'll find anything better within a few hundred miles. Trust me, at 88 China, if it sounds good - it will be good! Highly recommended!

Food is okay, but not amazing or unique from other Chinese places. The main issue is that they do not let you bring in water from home, even if it is in your own reusable water bottle. This doesn't make much sense because, as most reasonable restaurants do, they are supposed to provide you with free water. If they are abiding the law, what's the difference between them serving us their water and is bringing our own? If they're going to complain about you bringing your own water, I don't think they're worthy of your support. It's not like we brought outside food or soda purchased from a different restaurant.

This is a takeout gem for the area. It's a small place in the Walmart shopping center. The owners are very nice, and you often see the younger family members contributing as well. The food is high-quality, reasonably-priced and a good portion size. The menu is fairly standard, but done well. My favorites are the wonton soup, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken and crab rangoons. Fast, delicious Chinese -- what more could you ask for?

Very good food. Nice place. Food was steaming hot until we got home. Dumplings were great. Very fresh. You could actually taste the food instead of just tasting the salt in the food. Will def return again.

Rude, Racist and was charged extra for little sauce packets and crispy noodles that are always complimentary at other Asian restaurants just because the owner felt like charging without reason. The service was very unprofessional the cashier and server also shouted her response at us when we would ask for something Other customers came in after and was treated kindly and they were not charged extra. Dont understand why we were treated so bad but will not be returning.

Only 3 stars because we ordered take out and the order was all wrong . Since I am vegetarian I want to make sure my order is right ( call me picky if you wish) and it was not . Quality of food is okay , but I can think of few other restaurants much better then this one .

Not just best Chinese food in the area....the best food in the area! Hands Down! It is like being invited into the owners kitchen for a great meal. Very friendly staff.

I ordered take out from here this past weekend. It was my first experience with them and it was a great one. It was very easy and quick to call in the order. She quoted me a 15 minute time span for my order to be complete, but when I got there it wasn't finished yet. I didn't mind but she gave me free sodas to compensate for the wait. As far as food quality, it was some of the best I've had so far! We will definitely order from here again.

Wow did we not expect this. We picked a place for speed and proximity, and we had the menu. We ordered several dishes and couldn't decide what was best. Superior ingredients, you can really taste the food in the food, if you will. We will absolutely return (probably too often for our diets!). Friendly employees and super clean as well!

My husband and me are coming back to this place regularly. Food alway tastes fresh. Also, this restraint looks clean inside.

My daughter and I stop in on occasion for a quick bite to eat. The staff are extremely polite and diligent. The food is made well and for Chinese food not greasy. Egg rolls are really good. Great place to grab a quick bite on the go!!

We just picked up General T'sos dinner special and and the Crab Rangoon's. The food was very fresh, chicken was not dry and the sauce was excellent. The Rangoon's were excellent as well. This will be our new go to place for Chinese food!!!

In all of Allentown, this Chinese-American restaurant is hands down the best. I have tried all the local Chinese places and this by far is the best in terms of 1) best tasting, 2) best cooked (don't feel like everything is slop), 3) more closer to authentic Chinese dishes (ie. noodle soups). The bonuses are the place inside is very well maintained and clean, such that you actually want to sit and eat there. Also, the owner's workers there are super nice and friendly without ever having any attitude. Customer service is excellent! Top dishes I have tried and thought were great versions include: 1) Lomein 2) Noodle soups 3) Dumplings Though note, this is the best in terms of being in this location (Allentown) and for a quick takeout place that has obviously limited demand for authentic Chinese food. Given this context, it is really good.

I don't know about the rest of these reviews but I will not go back. I ordered General Tso's Chicken dinner with Fried rice. I got fried chicken with some kind of sauce no where near a sauce you would normally get no spice what so ever and almost a watery consistancy. Also fried rice was a white sticky rice that was colored yellow absolutely no pork or veg added into the mix. this was not very appetizing I am in no hurry to return.

Eat in or take out, this place has unique and different food. Great soups, udon and other noodles, plus all types of special dishes. The owners are so accommodating and everything is fresh delicious. You may go to some of the fancier places but this food is as good or better than any of them. I ate there and was treated great. The place is clean and airy. I had the udon soup with sliced pork and shrimp dumplings. Deeelicious! I've had take out from here also and it's terrific. Do yourself a favor and try it. Your only disappointment will be if you don't!

I've purchased take-out several times in the past few weeks. This family-owned restaurant may not look like much from the outside, but the food is good and the service is prompt and friendly. My family can't wait for our next visit.

Saw this new place and had a quick lunch there as I'm always looking for a decent Chinese takeout in the area (there are none). However, I think I have found one! FINALLY, a place that does crab rangoon right, and they know it! Fried rice was very good, not the yellow stuff with the frozen peas and carrots thrown in there. I ordered the garlic chicken, which was fresh and really wonderful...good portion size. Also ordered BBQ spare ribs, which were okay...my only complaint...there were 4 in a small order, one was right on point and the rest were kind of dry. The place was very clean, neat and contemporary, as take out places go. Service was very nice and helpful. I'm very anxious to sample other favorites of mine, but clearly, if I have a need for crab rangoon...this is the place I will go! I would also love to see them deliver at some point.
