Where to find the best Asian food in Chinatown | Eater Vegas

"In the mood for something classic and homey? Go for a hot, steaming bowl of noodles or orange chicken at 88 Noodle Papa, stationed in the back corner of Shanghai Plaza. To pair with its variety of Asian diasporic dishes, try drinks like Thai milk tea or hot honey lemon tea. Expect minimalist, casual decor and quick service." - Jennifer Smith

Google
Dont sleep on 88 Noodle Papa. It's not a fancy place with all the bells and whistles like some other places in Shanghai Plaza but you'll get some amazing food here. To be more specific, the Hainan Chicken is amazing. We've come here with my family and brought many friends here from different backgrounds and they all love it. I recommend the dark meat since it's juicer and tastier in my opinion. It is $2 more but definitely worth the extra cost. The ginger and sauce they give you is my absolutely favorite. I've had Hainan Chicken in Singapore which is the best I've had but for not having to go to Singapore, this place is incredible already. I've never had a bad experience here for food. Prices are a little higher than I'd like but we keep coming because the food is solid and tasty.

88 Noodle Papa - A Hidden Gem in Las Vegas! 🍜🐔🔥 This spot may be small, but big flavors await! We signed in and waited a bit, but it was absolutely worth it. The chicken was incredibly juicy and tender, perfectly complemented by their ginger garlic grinder—a must for lathering onto every bite. The hot sauce and hoisin added just the right balance of heat and sweetness. But the real surprise? The best wontons and broth I’ve had in a long time! Came in thinking we’d share one dish, but left stuffed and satisfied after devouring three! Quick tips: ✔️ Fast service, quick table turnover. ✔️ Best for small groups (4 or less). ✔️ Parking fills up fast—Uber is a great option for out-of-towners! Definitely adding this to my must-visit list when in Vegas! #88NoodlePapa #LasVegasEats #NoodleLovers #FoodieFinds #PaulEverhome

Google
No frill Cantonese quick bite (noodle and rice plates) with a slightly high price. I think the prices for certain items are slightly higher than they should but not outrageous. I'd recommend that you go early because it can get crowded during lunch time. The service is quick and efficient. The place is a little small but has clean restrooms. The food is decent and very Cantonese. Don't expect northern Chinese noodles there but if you set your expectations right it's decently delicious. I like the chicken dishes very well but they do charge $2 extra for legs and it adds up. Overall I like the place but wish the price is slightly lower match the quality of the food in general.

Google
The food was extremely bland and lacked flavor. The server appeared don’t care, offering almost no customer service. On top of that, a random tip amount was added to my final bill. I sense something was wrong when the server stared directly at me while I was signing the check. Overall, the experience was mediocre at best—no service, yet an expectation of a large tip. I would recommend avoiding this place.

We flew from San Francisco just for the wanton noodle and Hoi Nan chicken rice here, and they didn’t disappoint us! First up, the wanton noodle is 10 out of 10; super authentic and flavourful that made me feel like I was in Hongkong. As someone grew up in HK, I have high standard for Canton, Hongkong style wanton noodles. They need to follow the tradition: the noodle must be of the right texture, the broth has to be made with perfection with “dai dey yu”, and the wanton needs the exact proportion of shrimps and pork (the hongkong style wantons are supposed to be small and thin-skinned). They made it the right way! I’m impressed and feeling blissful with this bowl of noodle. The Hoi Nan chicken rice is my next favorite, actually it was as good as the wanton noodles. They offered three types of sauces, the chicken was delicious and tender, and not to mention they also made the rice perfectly. Finally, the pork feet have completed our food trip in Vegas. They were full of collagen but not oily nor too fatty. Yum! We also recommend the milk tea and cold lemon tea, and of course they made it the hk style. Overall, we are deeply impressed by the authenticity of the restaurant and its atmosphere. Definitely it will be one of your restaurants to go if you have some sort of Hongkong connections. Also, if you are a hongkonger travelling to the U.S. and are homesick, come to this restaurant.

Google
Service was okay. We were served one main dish much earlier than the other, which was unexpected and not a good vibe overall. First dish was getting cold by the time the fried rice was being served. In my opinion, the Mongolian beef Chow mein I ordered was lacking in flavor. The other dishes we ordered were ok, but also somewhat lacking in flavor. The dining area was bright, and had a small cafeteria feel. Very casual.

Google
Food is very authentic Hong Kong food, everyone live the Hainan Chicken rice platter small silky chicken with 3 traditional sauces on side to dip. Congee is really good as well, just like Congee queen in Toronto.

Korayma H.

Google
For a first experience it was okay, but when they first brought out my food it smelled like amonia and/or bleach and i had to ask for another plate because i couldnt even finish eating. Then i was told that they have been serving these noodles all day and no one has complained about it. I let them know they could smell the plate themselves, but i was not going to eat this. They then offered to bring another set of noodles; which actually smelt normal. If it wasnt for the food smelling and the server going back and forth with me; i suppose i wouldve given them a better review.

Yelp
Food: #1 shrimp and pork wonton noodle soup, #17 hainan chicken rice, and #49 curry with roti. The soup broth was really clean tasting and the wontons freshly made with whole shrimps. The hainan chicken was authentic. The roti was made with too much butter and felt heavy with oil. I would not get that again. Price: the only negative here is the price which is pretty pricey for what you get. However, the rent at Shanghai Plaza probably isn't cheap, so there you go. Service: quick and efficient. Ambiance: smaller place with not that many tables. Always a wait.

Yelp
88 Noodle Papa has amazing Chinese food! I got the Hainan chicken rice and the seafood soup, and everything was packed with flavor anThe chicken was tender and juicy, the rice was fragrant, and the sauces tied everything together really well. The seafood soup was clean, rich, and full of fresh ingredients, perfect if you want something warm and satisfying. The only downside is the portion size, it was a bit smaller than expected for the price.
google avatar

Yelp
I stopped by for a quick lunch and ordered seafood lasah rice noodle and hainan chicken rice. Both came after about 10 minutes of ordering. I had a little bit of the seafood lasah rice noodle and it was not my cup of tea. The taste seemed a little bit off to me. The hainan chicken rice was pretty delicious though. The chicken was nicely cooked, still moist, tender, and in a generous portion. The rice tasted like it was cooked in either some chicken fat or broth? Which added to the flavor. Overall, I did not have much expectations eating chinese food in las vegas but the hainan chicken turned out to be pretty tasty. The prices were reasonable as well.

Yelp
We have been coming here for years and food is always consistent. We always order the Hainan Chicken, curry Roti, beef curry, wonton noodle soup. This visit we just ordered the Hainan chicken and Roti. Service is decent (depending on who your server is) but your food comes out fairly quick after ordering! It's a decent size restaurant with a decent amount of seating. Overall, this is and always been on our go to place especially for the Hainan Chicken.

Yelp
YUMMY YUMMY FOOD! If you're looking for Hainan Chicken Rice - 88 Noodle Papa is it!! Their Hainan Chx Rice and Chx Leg is a must!! The chicken is cooked perfectly andmarinated perfectly with great flavors. Their curry is also excellent. Additionally, their HK Milk Tea and Lemon Tea are also highly recommended!! One of my favorite spots in Vegas!!!

Yelp
Hainan chicken, crab Rangoon, and egg roll. It's nice to see Cantonese food in the heart of Chinatown in Shanghai plaza. It's a casual diner, and there wasn't many people here so we were seated quickly. Overall the food was ok and staff were nice.

Yelp
This is one of the first restaurants that opened inside Shanghai Plaza and I'm glad to see how it has withstood the test of time. It's a very small nondescript restaurant tucked in the corner between Weera Thai and bb.q Chicken. I'm glad to say that the food quality has greatly improved since our first time dining here a few years ago. The shrimp and pork wonton noodle soup had a flavorful broth with plenty of wontons. Salt and pepper calamari was a different style with squid tentacles instead of the usual rings but had just the right amount of seasoning. The fried rice included a generous amount of shrimp with enough "wok hei" (smokey) flavor. What other diners complained about some of the servers is pretty standard in most casual Chinese restaurants but we experienced fast and friendly service during our meal.

Yelp
Service was nice and the food came out quick. The owner told us the internet was down so we had to pay with cash, thankfully we did have cash, but I didn't hear him telling anyone else about the internet problem. Ambiance wise it's a little mom and pop hole in the wall which I think gives it charm. Coming from Houston where we have lots of great Cantonese and Hong Kong food options I wasn't impressed solid 3 stars.

Yelp
Fresh noodles, rich broth, generous portions, and super friendly service. 88 Noodle Papa is a hidden gem in Vegas my go-to for comforting noodle dishes. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I can't believe I didn't write a review for 88 Noodle Papa yet! I always come here every time I'm in the area. Definitely a reliable and solid option. I recall the first time I stopped by I thought this place was small and didn't expect the food to be very delicious. Boy I was wrong! The flavor of all the dishes I've tried never miss. I haven't come across a dish here and thought to myself that it wasn't good. My family came here a few times last week and every time we went to a restaurant that wasn't good, we always say "Man! We should have come here instead!" Service is quick and so far all the staffs are friendly and helpful. There are times I asked them to make something that isn't on the menu and they were able to accommodate. I really appreciate that! Parking is horrible at any time of the day. I usually enter the parking lot from the back and look for a spot around there. 88 Noodle Papa, you the real one!

Yelp
Outstanding place for legit Cantonese and Southeast Asian food in general! We went there at 7:25 during CES and luckily found seats easily. After 20 mins there was a line at the door. I ordered their top seller shrimp wonton noodle and I can tell it's legit from the yellow wrappers to the bouncy shrimps! The soup is very mild which is quintessential to Cantonese/Hong Kong food. My friends ordered beef curry rice and laksa curry seafood noodle soup. Laksa is a bit blander than I would like though but they gave you tons of seafood toppings (fish filets, meat balls, shrimp, mussels and squid).

Yelp
A must-go everytime I make my way to Vegas and craving hainanese chicken! Very homely cooked meal with no frills. The restaurant is a bit small so there will usually be a wait during peak hours for lunch/dinnertime. Service could feel rushed but food always comes out quick! Hainanese whole chicken $41 (5/5) - succulent and juicy organic chicken! The meat is tender and firm; tastier than your typical regular chicken. You'll never get a dry piece of chicken here. They masterfully debone the whole chicken for you which I truely appreciate. No more using your hands and gnawing away the meat around any bones! The dish is accompanied with fragrant chicken broth flavored rice, pickled daikon/carrot, and 3 sauces: chili, scallion/ginger, and sweet soy. Shrimp and pork wonton noodle soup $14.95 (5/5) - the dumplings are filled with pork and shrimp, and have a slight bounce in them. I like how the shrimp still has a slight crunch in texture (nothing is worse than a mushy shrimp dumpling). The noodles have a good chew and you can tell that they were handmade. Soup is light and clear, which is a good sign that there are no heavy oils or fat. Give this place a try for a quick, delicious, and healthy meal!
google avatar

Yelp
The Hainanese chicken rice is delicious; the chicken is very tender. The milk tea is also good, very much in the Hong Kong style. The wonton noodles are also quite good.

Yelp
This place came highly recommended for the best hainan chicken in Vegas. The meat portion was small. You have to pay $3 to get some chicke broth. Rice was ok but kind of dry. Their pickles for $.99 was pretty good. But the greatness was in their ginger scallion sauce for the chicken. I also ordered their shrimp wonton noodle soup TO GO. Soup broth had a strong dried shrimp taste. A touch salty. But satisfying. One downer, instead of real green veggies like bok choy or yu choy, they use romaine lettuce leaf portions (not my fave). More scallions would have been nice. Place is very clean. Service is meh. They are not alert about you being out of drinking water. I will go try some other places.

Yelp
I normally avoid Shanghai Plaza on the weekends but will also limit my trips during the week as it is way too crowded and touristy and parking can be difficult. If I do go it is almost always to a restaurant and I'll try and get there early. I have also noticed that most of the places have higher prices than non Shanghai plaza restaurants by about 5-10%. Of course since there are some great places to dine, it's always a thoughtful process for me..... deal with the crowds, pay more, fight for a parking spot but get some pretty decent food or just go up the street or down the street and have less hassles. Well today it was an easier decision since I really wanted to try 88 noodle Papa. Pretty much glad I did, what we got was pretty darn good even with a bit higher price point, 3% credit card charge and a prime parking spot next to the dumpsters. Ok, on to the food.... I was torn between the Hainan chicken and rice and the chilled soba and chicken. The chilled soba won as cold noodles are always a favorite on a hot day. Medium size serving with slivers of chicken and sesame seeds and soba and sliced cukes. Two sauces for accompaniment . Hit the spot! My dining companion had the braised pork knuckle soup with noodles. Again a medium size serving with I think 3-5 knuckles and decent thin egg noodles in a light broth. For an app. we had the pan fried chicken potsticker. More like gyoza as they were thin skin and pretty tasty. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. All in all with 20% tip and credit card fee, it was $55.07 . While it was a good meal, perhaps having similar items elsewhere could have lowered the bill by 5-6 dollars. As is usual for Chinatown, no military discount. Will I be back? Definitely when I get the urge for Hainan chicken
google avatar

Van Anh N.

Yelp
Decent place in Shanghai plaza!! I thought the haianese chicken was good and affordable! The salt and pepper calamari was good also. Cucumber was okay
google avatar

Erin T.

Yelp
I laugh at the comments about poor service - it definitely is on par with what you would get in HK, or any hole in the wall Chinese restaurant to be honest. They're not warm and friendly, and I don't need that from my waiters if the food is good. I deducted the star mainly for consistency. We always order the beef brisket noodle with daikon. The soup has the "qing" flavor I'm looking for without being overly salty. The brisket this time though was a bit tough compared to the other 5+ times we had it. Meatball fish ball noodle soup - not a big flavor soup, but it's not meant to be. Still hit the spot for me! Roti - not a must order but not bad Hainan chicken (half order, no rice) - perfectly cooked chicken. Silky and tender! Curry fishball - mild curry flavor, but has a bit of heat.

Janice L.

Yelp
Wonton noodle soup tastes good, noodle is bounty which is the type of noodles I like. The chicken rice is standard.

Pamela R.

Yelp
Food is ok, I just got there because I like the chicken with yellow rice but their service is really bad, all the waitress are really rude, my husband hates to go to this place but I love the chicken that they sell, never coming back again today I was using the soy sauce and the waitress was looking at me and after I put it back at the table she grabbed it and never brought it back, there was no more people in the restaurant so she just didn't want me to grab more sauce.

Yelp
If I could I would give them 10 stars!!! I had a wedding to attend in Las Vegas and this place was highly recommended by one of my friends so I had to try them out. Luckily I was able to squeeze this place in right before flying back to CA..... I've got to say!!!! The chicken and rice was 'To die for!!' Rice had enough herb and not too mushy and chicken was not chewy at all and so flavorful. Not to mention about 3 kinds of sauce that served with....such a good combination. Wonton noodle soup was good but not as superb as the chicken and rice. But wonton skin and noodle were great... not too much flour taste and had whole shrimp inside. My husband who is not Asian asked for something crispy like chicharonnes well I ordered fish skin and it was a great substitution!! What surprised me were the cleanliness of this place and how polite the staff was......also the portion was small. Plenty of parking especially if you visit this place early.
google avatar

Judy L.

Yelp
I usually order the Hainan Chicken with rice which is the best. Chicken is tender and juicy and the rice with ginger scallion and their sauce is so tasty sweet and salty. Service is quick which is nice because we were in a hurry and they also speak english and cantonese. I like how they show the videos of food and delicacies on their TV, maybe a tactic to entice you to order more food. It would usually work where we would order more but we went for dessert first before dining in. Ambiance is simple and clean, it wasn't very busy around 4pm on a Holiday (President's Day). Enjoy.
google avatar

Siemcheng N.

Yelp
Hand down the best Hainan Chicken in Vegas. Chicken is still juicy and cook to perfection. Great portion for the price. A bit difficult finding parking around dinner time especially if there is blindbox drop or card trading happening. Service is super fast and it gave you authentic chinese restaurants vibe. I felt like i am transported to Asia because of their playlist and video playing in store which is really nice. Their wonton soup is also good especially for hangovers lol Dont forget to add Hong Kong MT or Hong Kong Lemon Tea. Super refreshing
google avatar

Marc N.

Yelp
I like this place! the curry fish balls were not as good as I expected, but that's alright. Hainan chicken tasted better than the wonton noodle soup. Rice was super flavorful and I think the dark meat is worth the upgrade. The ginger scallion sauce could have been more ginger, but the whole dish was great, 8/10. Wonton noodle soup was good. Noodles were al dente or even a little below al dente as it was on the harder end. The wontons were made almost authentically as they do not care about wrapping it, it's really just getting the wrapper and then put the filling in and scrunch it. It was great.

Yelp
Food: wonton soup is so delicious. Hk style milk tea is just in the right texture Location: easy to find and lots of parking Services: friendly and attentive server Highly recommended . Will definitely come back when I am back
google avatar

Yelp
Comfort food and comfort price... not much Chinese noodle soup around the area. We ordered the wonton noodle soup and beef noodle soup. Both soup was clean and noodle had the bouncy texture. High recommended if you want simple meal.
google avatar

Anita L.

Yelp
We were on the hunt for legit Hong Kong style wonton noodles, and the fact that they had Hainan Chicken Rice was a plus. So, we came here for an early dinner mid-week. On top of the wonton noodles and chicken rice, we got some gailan as well. The wonton noodles are possibly the best I've had outside of Asia. The noodles were super chewy and the broth, clean and flavorful. The wontons were bursting with plump, snappy shrimp. I ordered the Hainan Chicken Rice with white meat. The three accompanying sauces: ginger, chili, and thick sweet soy were all on point. In fact, I've never been able to find anything close to this in soCal (don't say SGV cuz it isn't the same) and so I was super happy to have my taste buds satiated. Can't wait to come back again!
google avatar

Rob L.

Yelp
Wow really good laksa flavors on point with great value. Shrimp, clams and good portion of fish in this soup with alot of noodles. We also tried the curry fish balls and left stuffed!! Good service friendly and attentive, cant wait to go back snd try other soups or noodle dishes. Plenty of parking in the lot usually someone is pulling out.
google avatar

Joanne S.

Yelp
I came here to satisfy my Hainan chicken rice craving and it was partially met. The chicken and the dipping sauce (especially the ginger scallion sauce) were flavorful and authentic. The rice was alright, it seems they may have flavored with chicken bouillon powder. Definitely better than what I had in the PNW but not I've had it in my childhood in the San Gabriel Valley in California. For the price, the chicken portion was definitely on the lower side. However the chicken was flavorful and boneless. I also got the milk tea and asked for the condense milk. It has been a while since I had this kind of tea and it was delicious. I didn't felt like I needed the sugar cubes that came with the tea. No tea refills. Parking lot gets very busy and we had to park on the street. It's located in the first floor, near the center of the plaza.

Yelp
88 Noodle Papa is a cute name and quite a lucky number for Asians. This place serves Asian-style cafe food and it's a fast-paced restaurant with a chill atmosphere. To start we came here for dinner and enjoyed two appetizers which were the roti bread with curry sauce and Chinese deep-fried doughnut which most people dip with porridge. But you can always eat it on its own For entrees, we decided to share chicken rice, wonton noodles, and beef rice noodle soup. Overall all the dishes came out quickly and hot. I enjoyed all the tasty food, especially the Hainan chicken rice which was in a cute pyramid form. Can't wait to come back and try their other menu items.

Yelp
Little unpretentious space in Shanghai Plaza. My wife wa is craving Hainan Chicken Rice so we decided to head down spur of the moment. Typical afternoon in Shanghai Plaza, parking was the usual nightmare but once we parked we headed over. Got seated right away at about 12:30. We both ordered the Hainan Chicken Rice. Moist and delicious chicken with great sauces. I love the ginger sauce. Served with Ginger Rice. Simple yet perfectly prepared. Will be back to try the wonton noodles next time.

Josh W.

Yelp
Prepare to pay a 3% credit card fee. They will not tell you beforehand. Food is good, but service could use a bit of work.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Busy little restaurant in a busy Asian food strip mall. I've had better chicken rice in the LA area but if you're in Vegas and craving Hainan Chicken rice, this is the place to go. Served with 3 sauces, the chicken rice is generously sized, and the rice isn't oily. Unlike most chicken rice places, their set doesn't come with a side of chicken broth. The restaurant is seemingly also known for its clear brisket soup with daikon. The soup was indeed clean tasting. Note that they charge for the sauce if you want to take new ones to go for your leftovers.

Yelp
In A Nutshell: -88 Noodle Papa is just okay to me. -It's a very popular spot for out-of-town visitors, so expect a wait. -The popular dishes are the Chicken Rice Noodle Soup, Won Ton Soup & the Chicken Rice. -I ordered all three to try, they were good, but not special IMHO. Overall, what blew me away was the price, $66 for those 3 average dishes are a rip off. You can find cheaper & better dishes at other places in Vegas. This is definitely a off-Strip tourist trap & I fell for it! haha.

Yelp
3.5 stars. In the busy shanghai plaza, can be hard to find parking. Came here based on Yelp reviews and pics but was underwhelmed. We ordered wonton noodle soup, szechuan beef noodle soup, hainan chicken rice, jellyfish, curry fishball, hk milk tea, and lemon tea. The star was definitely the chicken, deboned, tender and flavorful. Ginger scallion dip was super good, but when I asked for more, it was $2 extra. Rice was undercooked and hard. Jellyfish flavor was ok. Curry fishball decent. Wonton noodle soup was not as good as hyped up to be. Noodles were not bouncy and wontons were literally half of a whole shrimp and a chunk meat, not minced and mixed together. Beef noodle soup was just spice and very watery, so basically a spicy water soup. Milk tea and lemon tea both watery as well. Only come for the hainan chicken, otherwise, better off some place else for noodle soup.

Yelp
Noodle papa has the best wontons. It's huge with fresh shrimp. They are located in the Vegas Chinatown area! Excellent food and clean friendly service!
google avatar

Drew L.

Yelp
This place satisfied my craving for good HK cuisine. The portion was ample sized for me and the service was friendly and fast. Not much to say about the minimal decor but you go here for the food. Not bad, not great. It met my expectations.
google avatar

Kayla N.

Yelp
Came here with my co-worker and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. My chicken curry was very tasty. My co-worker got the hainan chicken rice. The sauces they brought us for our chicken was an added treat. I might try what she got next time since it was in the lighter side. I ended up taking the rest of my curry home because it was so hearty. But that's a good thing! Yummy!

Enoch L.

Yelp
Chef is from Hong Kong, and as an opening lunch to our arrival in Vegas, this was probably a great one! Same song being played on loop ("My Love") and TVB news playing, but there were posters showing theor accolades as part of the "taste of America" program! Ordered the top 3 dishes: Hainan Chicken, Wonton Noodle Soup, and Laksa Rice Noodles! And the curry Indian pancake! All of these had to be the best, server was nice and the drink portions were huge for $5!Food portions weren't exactly generous but decent (the noodles? Enough to feed exactly one person without any leftovers). Service was absolutely great and they were willing to correct the wrong order of curry chicken back to the Hainan chicken. Overall, the "Taste of China" scores don't lie. This is a great HK style cafe minus the baked rice :), which LV lacks. Great hidden gem!
google avatar

Amy P.

Yelp
Well this is certainly a iykyk type of restaurant. Maybe I'm biased though because this place brings me a lot of nostalgia to the food my parents make. The hainan chicken rice is definitely the star of the show. Deboned. And has a bounce to it when you eat it. The ginger scallion oil I my favorite sauce to put on it. Rice was fragrant. The wonton noodles are also very good. The noodles are perfectly cooked to al dente and the broth was clean and soothing. Much the same can be said about the beef noodle soup. Very mom and pop basic Cantonese style dishes that I would describe as very authentic. The Hong Kong style milk tea was also delicious. Perfect balance of not too sweet. Service was quick and our food came out very fast. There were plenty of tables and a lot of the customer population were Chinese (a very good sign). I took my dad here and he even complimented the authenticity of the food. And he is someone /who believes everything is better made at home. So a compliment by him for a restaurant is unheard of lol. Would definitely be coming back if I'm in the area.

Yelp
We got here at around 9:20pm on January 17th, 2025, the waitress who welcomed us was rude. They close at 930 but we felt rushed by her , like she seemed miserable being there. Won't ever go there again

Yelp
After a long drive from Arizona we stopped by here as our first food stop for lunch. Their menu offers traditional Hong Kong cafe style items along with a fusion of Southeast Asian dishes. They are located in the newer Las Vegas Chinatown Plaza with plenty of parking outside. The restaurant itself has a limited amount of seating so prepare for a short wait. Even with a line of customers the staff were fast at cleaning tables and getting us seated. Our server was quick to note our order and the food came out in no time, it was freshly prepared and was steaming hot at arrival. I ordered their two most popular items: Shrimp & Pork Wonton Noodle Soup and Hainan Chicken Rice with Dark Meat. The Shrimp & Pork Wonton Noodle Soup was good but not the best I have ever had, the filling needed a little bit more seasoning. The Hainan Chicken was poached perfectly with a nice sheen and the meat was extremely tender. The Hainan Rice was unfortunately flavorless, even with a spoonful of each condiment it was still bland. You don't necessarily get the most bang for your buck here considering their portions are small for the price you are paying. Also, there is an extra fee if you use a credit card as payment versus cash. I would definitely come back again because I want to try their Seafood Laksa, Curry Fish Balls, and Curry Roti.

Yelp
I came here with high hopes of finding Cantonese American Wonton Soup. I dined in for lunch and ordered the Shrimp and Pork Dumpling Noodle Soup. The store is clean, the service is good, and the wonton soup, not what I was looking for. It was good. More in the style I've had in Taipei. Delicate and delicious broth and well made dumplings. Nice al dente think mein. I guess I'm searching for the down home wonton with BBQ charsu or roast duck.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in Vegas, I always stop by 88 Noodle Papa for some Hainanese chicken rice! 88 Noodle Papa is located within the bustling Shanghai Plaza, so I recommend coming early to have a better chance of finding parking. Although the restaurant is small, the food packs a punch! I ordered the Hainanese chicken rice, curry with roti, and Hong Kong lemon tea. Everything was tasty and came to our table quickly. By far, the Hainanese chicken rice was the top item. The chicken was deboned for easier eating and was perfectly cooked. I appreciated that the chicken was served with a delicious trinity of dipping sauces: ginger scallion sauce, chili sauce, and soy oyster sauce. The chicken is paired wonderfully with the fragrant chicken rice. Come to 88 Noodle Papa for a comforting plate of Hainanese chicken rice that is done right.

Yelp
Was in a vacation in Vegas and stumbled upon this place that my friend recommended. They're located right next door to Miniso. I didn't know what to order and then The waitress told me that the shrimp and pork won ton mein was one of their best sellers so i got that. The won tons had a generous amount of shrimp in them and the broth was really good. The noodles were andante. It was good to try a hong kong style type of noodle.

Yelp
This place is consistent. Always fast, HOT, and delicious. It stays in our rotation because of this as well as the price being fair and we never feel gross after eating here (nothing is too fried, greasy, nor heavy). Honestly have liked everything we've tried every time.

Yelp
This most authentic Hainan Chicken place. The chicken is so tender and juicy. They probably used pasture-raised chicken to achieve this level of deliciousness.

Yelp
We come to this place every time we are one Vegas. Authentic Hong Kong style wonton noodles, beef stew, and hainan chicken, and gailan vegetables. The owner takes price in food quality and you can feel his enthusiasm and attentiveness in food preparation. Highly recommend this small shop!
