This store is definitely one of the higher-end Asian supermarkets around this general area. Good variety of products including produce, a small selection of teas, ceramic teacups, ceramic cups and bowls, chopsticks, instant noodles, rice, soups, seasonings, frozen food items, imported snacks, etc...
I came here specifically for a lucky bamboo plant and some tea, but the lucky bamboos all looked almost lifeless and dying as most stalks were yellow or straight brown. Very disappointing for me. The selection of tea was very limited, however I did find some that were worth buying.
Other than that, good selection on everything else. I did not find any expired foods or beverages, which is very good. However as a warning to some, some products, especially food and beverages, have a Prop 65 warning on them.
Service was ok, could be better. Not a lot of workers or customers were in the store, probably because I went on a weekday night when it was closing though.
Atmosphere was ok, a little bit boring, smaller end Asian supermarket(Compared to OC or LA Asian supermarkets), but it was tolerable. The fish market side of the store had no people working there, but it was probably closed since it had been almost closing time when I went.
Overall, 5/10 Mediocre store due to atmosphere, service, and the dead bamboos, however it is one of the higher-end Asian supermarkets I've been to in this area. Would recommend to people living in this area sometime.
