15+ Incredible Places to Eat in Tokyo in 2025

"Wandering around Ginza I went in for giant, meaty Japanese oysters that leaned sweet rather than briny, and the restaurant didn’t get too busy so I didn’t have to wait." - Matthew Kepnes

The oyster topped with mentaiko (cod roe) had quite a strong fishy taste, but the ones that followed were paired with red wine vinegar, which significantly reduced the fishiness. The oyster topped with beef is better eaten separately — the oyster and beef don’t chew well together in one bite. The other side dishes were fairly standard. Considering the location in Ginza, the price is relatively cost-effective. Overall, I’d give it three stars.

Delicious oysters! I ordered the medium platter set, which included eight pieces of Miyagi Sizugawa and Iwate Akasaki. This week they’re rubbing a half-off special. I also tried a pasta dish covered in a creamy lobster sauce. For the oysters, I opted for two Hyougo Aioi, the most expensive options on the menu. To place your order, you simply scan a QR code on your phone. While you savor your seafood feast, the speakers play a nice selection of American music.

I have it a 4 star as I think their Shibuya branch deserves a 5, even though I was overall quite satisfied with my recent 3 visits. Fresh oysters with very good price, other dishes were also quite good. If you look for a mid price place with very good raw oysters options, this place is highly recommended.

Nothing's better than fresh oyster. Was a good surprise to discover oysters with different recipes. Restaurant is ok, a bit pricy and service not at his best.

This restaurant is a chain restaurant in Japan where you can enjoy oyster, both raw or cooked in various ways. Went there just to enjoy oyster myself. Scanning the QR code on table and order through your own cellphone. I just order the four pieces set at 1936yen(including tax). They will tell you which province in japan the oysters are from through the tag. Overall oysters are delicious, price is not expensive as well. However service is just so so, but in general this restaurant is good if you would like to enjoy oyster bar during your trip in Tokyo.

5/5 stars from us. We are a couple from the UK visiting Japan. This was easily one of our top restaraunts that we visited ! Cozy and small restaraunt. We were late for our reservation but the staff were so understanding and allowed us in! Our course allowed us to try out different ways of how oysters are prepared. I really enjoyed the raw oysters, it was so fresh and sweet. I wish we oredered more but by the end of the course we were full haha! I also enjoyed the fried oysters and also the creamy radish soup. Everything was perfect and delicious. We are so pleased and would love to come back when are visiting Japan again. Thank you to the staff members who served us and was so attentative. Despite the language barrier I felt so welcomed and they also tried hard to explain the different dishes to us ! Thank you so much ^-^! 最高のカキ!

Both the salad dressing and pasta sauce are simply tossed/mixed with pre-made sauces and taste like chain restaurants. The three women in the restaurant wear masks and work quickly, but they don't smile and are not friendly. The restaurant's heaters were too warm and made me sleepy.

A very easy night out for dinner at this Oyster Bar. Very tasty 16 hot and cold oyster set. Great value and atmosphere. Recommended!
