Best Korean Food in Dallas/Fort Worth DFW | Eater Dallas

"Chef Grace Koo helms this bakery and boba shop that specializes in not-too-sweet Korean-inspired cakes, pastries, sandwiches, and beverages. Bulgogi cheesesteak and California sando (crab salad, avocado, tomato and greens sandwich) are lunch favorites. Pro-tip: get that sandwich bread toasted." - Courtney E. Smith

Where to Sip Chewy, Fruity, Colorful Bubble Tea in Dallas - Eater Dallas

"This non-descript boba shop tucked into a strip mall on Royal Ln is easy to miss, but once you’ve found it, you’ll never want to leave again. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for working or studying, and the traditional boba shakes made with taro, green tea, and other flavors are old-school but totally solid." - Amy McCarthy

Google
3.3 stars. Wanted to like it more but turns out this first visit fell short of expectations. Dropped in mid-morning to pick up some baked goods for an office call. Nice selection of treats that were fairly priced. Post consumption, the products were visually good but lacking in depth and flavor. Employees were friendly. Place was clean. Surrounding area outside is questionable. Thinking maybe it was just a one-off on this visit.

Visited 9 Rabbits Bakery and tried their Taro Boba and Milk Tea Boba (their special), along with a Taro Mochi and an Apple Turnover. The space is cozy and inviting, and the service was smooth. Surprisingly, the taro boba outshined their milk tea special—richer in flavor and very refreshing. The milk tea was decent but a bit too light in taste for something labeled as a special. The taro mochi was soft and satisfying, while the apple turnover had a nice flakiness with a lightly sweet filling. Overall, a decent spot with some hits and misses—worth a try if you're nearby!

Google
It's a beautiful place and the treats are so unique. We went there on Christmas Day and you would think that service would have at least spoken to us, however they did not say 2 words. I understand that working on Christmas has to be frustrating because I did it too but you can't take that out on your customers and not even smile in the slightest bit once approached. I loved the atmosphere and the snacks were delicious but I don't think l will be going back.

Google
Great place to go for a nice drink. I usually get black rose tea and add strawberry boba. I like that you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. I haven't tried any of the food or pastries. They do have indoor seating and some cool looking arcade games.

Google
We can here after visiting shin Chon grocery store's food court. I have never been to 9 rabbits but it felt like a smaller version of the Asian bakeries I have visited. My good friend bought us mango smoothies and lots of pastries to take home and give to the kids. The smoothies were much better than I expected. I ate part of the apple pie when I got home with the Mrs and she approved. We are planning to eat more along with coffee in the morning.

Google
First time here and they had a “One Piece” cookie that was cool and the M-M cookie was probably the best cookie I have ever had. Berry Banana smoothie was great. I highly recommend this place.

Google
They have a really nice selection of pastries - both sweet and savory. I would especially recommend the coconut cream bread! I ordered a latte with rose flavoring and asked for only 25% sweetness. It was perfect - most boba cafes I've visited still make the drink quite sweet even when you ask for less sugar, but this is one of the few that actually tastes like they accurately made it with 25% sweetness, so I was impressed. I really loved the rose flavoring they used as well! I would definitely recommend both the drinks and pastries. Next time I'm in the area I would absolutely love to go again!

Yelp
We stopped by to look at some desserts post kbbq/hotpot. They have decorative cakes that look delicious! I would want to try the tiramisu cake next time and the Nutella stuffed cookie. For now I went with the 9 rabbits milk tea which is a brown sugar milk tea. I added boba to mine. It was perfect! Definitely would get again. They also had another flavor I wanted the pistachio white chocolate. I would want to try that one next time. Service was excellent! She answered my questions and took my order, and then the drink was out pretty quickly. Ambiance is a bakery, which to me speaks warm for the buns and cold for the cakes. Looking forward to the next time we're out in the area.

Yelp
Always a treat to stop here while visiting Dallas. I have yet to find a place in Houston that serves Korean iced coffee like this. It's sweet and creamy. Not as bitter or dark as Vietnamese iced coffee sometimes taste. Service is pretty quick if there is no line. There is some seating if you want to eat inside. Will be back for the coffee!

Yelp
Always go there with the little ones for breakfast. They have a variety of pastry options
google avatar

Henal M.

Yelp
Good variety of desserts. Also have beverages including boba tea. There were some beautiful looking fruit/cream cakes but they didn't have them by the slice, which is what I wanted.

Yelp
Very cute bakery with Asian flavors available. Loved how wide the selection was and the samples offered in individual packaging. This place is so cute! Will have to return soon to try their drinks :)

Yelp
9 Rabbits is one of my favorite places in Dallas. It is extremely cute and the people are have always been very friendly and helpful (for example, when one of my friends had an allergic reaction to peanuts, they offered a free item). I really appreciate that they sell the not as nice macarons or pastries at a discounted rate in sale bags instead of tossing them out. They also put a lot of effort into making new cute things. I feel like every time I go, there's something new I hadn't seen before. For example, the last time I went, there were cute Sanrio character cookies. The pastries are really tasty, and I always get a drink. Everyone should come support this local business!

Yelp
Lots of space, pretty quick service, and pretty good pastries. Would go back again........

Yelp
Lots of parking on a Thursday and relaxed and cozy environment and safe. I visit often and collect points and enjoy good times. As always a great experience from a traveler passing through. As always keep it real. Johnnie Mini

Yelp
I really really wanted to love this place because some of their sweets are so good but this is the 3rd time I have tried their drinks and have been SO disappointed. Strawberry milk tea tastes like watered down milk it's disgusting. Strawberry lychee smoothing tastes like water with a hint of strawberry. Save your money go to Mozart it's the next closest place and much better! I've spent about $75 here trying to love their drinks but never again.

Yelp
California Crab Salad Club, Hot Honey Bagel Sandwich Really loved these sandwiches! I was in a very sandwichy mood when I found this place on grubhub! The bagel sandwich is delicious and filling and wonderful and classic. The crab salad club is a fun bite, I have such a weakness for krab. The flavors in both sandwiches were great. For once in my life, I wasn't in the mood for boba, but I definitely will try it at this place next time!!

Yelp
Great selection of fresh pastries and drinks! Everyone was welcoming and friendly! Who doesn't love K-POP playing as you walk in! We purchased the apple pudding, mocha pound cake, strawberry pound cake, and the fresh creme pastry. The banana bread was perfect for me, it wasn't overly sweet and just the right amount of moist! Heating up the apple pudding for about 30-45 second is the way to go, it was delicious! My cold brew latte with oatmilk was the perfect accompanying drink with my pastries! My partner got the honey misugaru and it was amazing! I had to keep taking sips of his! Next time we are in this part of town, will be coming back in!

Yelp
The boba is great! I have been going for the past 11 years ! My family only gets boba from this place, there are soo many flavors too!

Yelp
I was in Dallas for work and had meetings near the Irving Convention Center. Was wanting some boba and found this place not too far away. The staff were helpful and they had a number of tasty baked goods available as well. I ordered the milk tea with brown sugar boba and a shot of espresso. I wish I would have asked for half sugar but it was tasty. I also bought a red bean sticky rice donut, which lived up to its sticky name and tasted great. They also have various cakes that looked great as well.
google avatar

Yelp
The 9 Rabbit Milk Tea was actually really good that with the banana bread was a nice combo. The service was fast and respectful The little too many rabbits for me lol but if you like rabbits then this is your place.

Yelp
Awesome place for coffee, boba, and baked goods. Their Korean coffee is yummy. Ambience is great for working from home (wifi and comfortable seats) or spending time with people. Service is wonderful. Sweet owners.

Yelp
I've had this bakery saved in my collection for quite some time and finally gave it a try on Sunday. My gf and I stopped by at around 11 and the place was empty; which was great. We were greeted by a young lady at the register not long after entering. The place is really cute with rabbit artwork, paintings etc throughout. There's also some cool lighting. Upon entering there's various types of baked goods from cookies to milk bread to donuts. There's also a good selection of cold sandwiches and various cakes. While they have coffee, it seems they're known for boba tea. We were really in the mood for coffee so we ordered Korean coffee, which we both had never had before. It's sweetened with condensed milk and we were able to try a sample before we decided. You can also request level of sweetness. The sample was at 100% sweetness which was just too sweet for my liking. So I opted for 25% and my gf 75%. Since I'm not really a sweet person, 25% was perfect. We also ordered it hot. Unfortunately, when we got the coffee they weren't really hot; more like luke warm and we ended up using their microwave to warm it up. But overall pretty good. We also ordered a strawberry roll slice, pound cake slice, twisted sugar donut like roll and a half cream ham and cheese. We also wanted to order their breakfast sandwich's but the kitchen is closed on Sundays. They'll give you paper plates to warm up your sandwich or pastries in their microwave which is convenient. I definitely warmed up the sandwich. I must say, I've never had a sweet ham and cheese sandwich. The bread was almost like a soaked french toast consistency. It wasn't bad and was super fresh but I probably wouldn't order it again simply because our was very sweet. All of the other pastries were amazing! Fresh and tasty. The roll cake was absolutely my favorite! All in all, this was a cool spot and we'll definitely try it again!

Yelp
I've been here several times and all were good experiences. I picked up a case cake for a Birthday last-minute and everyone complimented how beautiful it was and enjoyed the flavor. If you like light and fluffy cakes, this place is for you.

Yelp
Stopped into 9 Rabbits Bakery today off of Royal Ln. for some baked goods and was shocked at their selection!! They have a hugeee assortment of baked goods, kolaches, breads, pastry's, coffee, and made-to-order sandwiches! We opted for a handful of their bakery items, as well as a couple sandwiches to-go. The sandwiches were excellent! All of our bakery items were delicious even when re-heated later on. The fried kolache is unlike any kolache I've had and I MUST get more soon. I'll definitely be back to try some more of their sandwiches and coffee!

Yelp
Drink is pretty good, can choose sweetness level to fit your taste, boba is chewy and nice texture

Yelp
A friend recently introduced boba to me, and now I am pretty much obsessed with it! The decor is fun and the place is clean. My favorite is the pina colada smoothie boba. It is super refreshing and the tapioca pearls have a great bite to them. I definitely want to try some of the baked goods and lunch sandwiches. Friendly staff and quick service. The construction across from the business is a nightmare, so be prepared to wait in traffic. At least you will have a delicious drink to enjoy!

Yelp
Here's #theLatestLiquidNews Review specifically for the drinks only. Location: Small plaza off the main road with ample parking. Area is like a mini Korea Town due to the Korean restaurants in the vicinity. Affordability: $3.5 -- $6 Teas, Smoothies, Coffee Dining Room: A cozy booth style seating with cushions, for a quick bite, a place to study & wifi available. What I Ordered... *Korean Coffee: 5 Stars. If you've never had it, try it. In the world of coffee, Korean Coffee is balance of sweetness & boldness. Unlike Lee's Vietnamese Coffee that will keep you awake for a 24 Hour Twitch Stream and wired like hero with an agenda, Korean Coffee is like a Sunday morning. Flavor keeps you wanting more with every sip. Difficult to find in DFW & some Korean Donut shops may just have it. "Word of advice, don't forget to ask for less ice." *Pistachio White Chocolate Smoothie: 4.5 Stars. Not one for Pistachio, would never consider it. Throw that thought out the window! Sometimes the odd combinations of flavors would surprise you. A lot like saying Avocado Shakes are super great. One would think "Salsa as a shake? Why?" But it most definitely is good. As for this smoothie, it's a must try. None of the flavors overpower each other, but are in complete harmony. Highly recommend! And that's all on the latest liquid news! Onto the next food adventure!

Yelp
I got the black sugar milk tea at 75% sugar and no ice. The drink was lukewarm. -1 star - the cup was not sealed, so I couldn't shake my tiger sugar drink -1 star: even at 75% sweetness, this was way too sweet. It gave my mouth an icky feeling. My friends got pastries and liked them. I think you should get pastries, not drinks here.
google avatar

Lauren L.

Yelp
I love a good Taro and they make a good one plus I love that they added a little razzle dazzle to the cup. I'll definitely be ordering again and trying out more of the menu.

Yelp
My favorite bakery in Dallas Delicious food, nice people and the place is full of good vibes. Love boba tea

Yelp
They have the cutest (and yummiest) bread and desserts. The space has a good amount of seating and the service is fast!

Yelp
I may not have the fondest memories to this place because it was me and my ex's spot, but one thing I will say they have such a tasty array of pastries and drinks. Their drink are so flavorful and even the boba is very chewy and soft. the pastries are soft and delicious every time have gone. The area was aways clean and I loved that it was never packed when we went in. Always a nice atmosphere with the pleasant smell of drinks being made. I've seen they even have cupsleeve events, which is super cool to see. Truly a tragedy I can't go in due to the memories of my past relationship, but one day TRUST.

Yelp
My new favorite place! Someone recommended I try this place since it is close to my business. They have a variety of different pastries every morning. I've been getting the crab sandwich and Strawberry Lychee with Mango boba and I'm obsessed! So good :)
google avatar

Jackie N.

Yelp
My sister and I decided to grab breakfast here before exploring downtown Dallas and they have a nice spread of baked goods. Plenty of affordable cakes on display as well. Our most important priority was finding a place that served boba in the morning and this was the closest to our hotel. The jasmine milk tea was nice and the crab+avocado sandwich was delicious. I actually couldn't stop thinking about it for a couple weeks. Super cute rabbit interior and we enjoyed a quiet dine in experience since they just opened for the day. I'm not sure how the rest of the day pans out but I'm sure this would be a cool spot to study in.

Yelp
I love this place. Such cute little treats and drinks!!! I come here often. Drinks I recommend: 1) Lucky Charms milk tea 2) Lavender milk tea Food I recommend: 1) sausage and cheese bun 2) kolache 3) Mochi bun Honestly though I've never tried anything bad here and it's such a nice atmosphere for working or studying. The staff seem so nice too!! They're always smiling, welcoming and make small talk. When my family came to visit from out of state, this spot was on my list of places to show them. It's a little gem!!!

Sarah M.

Yelp
Yummy food. Good selection. I really enjoyed the bread and the drinks that we bought. I definitely recommend this place. They even had this specific pastry I was looking for that is surprisingly hard to locate.
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
Had high hopes for this bakery but turned out to be just OK. Got the banana shaped banana bread which was cute but dry. We also got their thai tea at 75% sugar how my husband likes it but it was wayyy too sweet for him.
google avatar

Raian N.

Yelp
This place has so many different options for buns and we really enjoyed trying a lot of different types! The Strawberry with white chocolate bun was out favorite. Theres a mix of options between sweet and savory buns.

Yelp
First time here from Peoria Arizona. This place is amazing service vise and selection vise . I like tiers in sweetness to the coffee or tea. They have 120% , 100%, 75%, 50% ,25% and zero sweet levels for drinks. You may take restaurant style tray and fill it with all amazing sweet, breakfast and lunch items. I will recommend this place. Thank you for being fantastic!

Tara J.

Yelp
I love the atmosphere. It's adorable in here. They have so many bakery items that look amazing. I was extremely satisfied with my visit! Everything was wonderful.

Yelp
I love this place. I've been coming here since 2017 and I will continue coming as long as I am in this state. Their tea and baked goods are some of the best I've ever had. I take literally any excuse I can to come to Dallas to come in and get boba, even if it means a 30 minute detour plus traffic. Earlier this week was my friend's birthday and I was able to call at noon and pick up an 8 inch tiramisu cake (his favorite, I've been bringing him slices every other month or so for the last year) by 2:30 the same day. I was lucky that they had a full cake ready when I called but they held it for me and even sent me home with candles and a plastic knife to cut it! The cake was delicious and beautiful and was devoured before I could get a picture. Everything that comes out of that place is adorable and delicious. While I didn't get a picture of my cake, I found a picture of one of adorable cakes in the display case. The staff is awesome as well. Super personable and thoughtful. If there is ever a mistake they are very attentive and quick to remedy the problem, even if it takes me the 90 minute drive home to realize something was forgotten in my big bag of goodies. like I said, I love this place and I drag anyone willing to come with me out here.

Yelp
I have been visiting this location before their whole remodeling many years ago, but I enjoy stopping by to grab drinks here on my way back home. First, they have the best customer service here. So far, every staff has been helpful, friendly, and patient every time. For the bad, I am not a huge fan of their pastries here - main problem for is their quality control of them. However, they do sell day old breads at low price if that's something you would be interested in. Going back to the good, the interior is superb. There are plenty of seating area and looks open/bright. At times, they would have all bunny decors on top of cake case, which are pretty cute! Not sure if it's every day, but I would only recognize during Spring time, haha. Lastly, one of my favorite go-to drink here is That Frappe which can be seen has Matcha Latte, but in frappe form (matcha, espresso, ice cream and milk). Sometimes, it tastes bitter, but maybe that's when they messed up. However, if you don't mind that, this is good. I also enjoyed their Misugaru lines - honey and matcha. It's a very grainy; so, if you are not into that texture - skip. However, it's a good drink to explore your taste bud with! Personally, the drink here is a bit sweeter side; so, I would recommend adjust the sweetness if those drinks can be adjusted.
google avatar

Harsha S.

Yelp
I was greeted immediately when I entered and asked if I needed any help while browsing the different items. I ordered a Small Thai Tea with Pearl Boba at 50% sugar. They mentioned that they had run out of Pearl Boba but would be glad to provide any other toppings for free so got Crystal Boba instead. Even though I asked for 50% sugar, it was still quite sweet. If I go again, I'll try another tea and grab something from the bakery.
google avatar

Michele B.

Yelp
I stopped in for a lavender latte this morning and the service and coffee/croissant were all amazing. They also have fresh baked goods and pastries! Everything looks delicious! You won't want to miss spending a morning here and taking fresh goods home!
google avatar

Amber R.

Yelp
Loved the cute bakery, great friendly customer service. I also loved the hot honey breakfast bagel even though it was hot sauce not honey. My husband liked the easy peasy burrito even though they didn't have any potatoes for it. The Thai tea was very good. We enjoyed the cream cheese chocolate danish with a cute bunny face. We have a few other items to try but wanted to share that my chocolate cake had hairs inside. Unfortunately this was very disappointing as we never venture into Dallas. Was hoping to write a stellar review of this place but sad I had to throw my cake away. Hopefully it was a one off but a turn off.
google avatar

Aldo Q.

Yelp
I discovered this place through Yelp. What a great surprise, from the service to the variety of drinks, coffee styles and pastries. If you're in the area, try their Korean coffee and macaroons! They're 2.00 each, but worth every cent!
google avatar

Thida L.

Yelp
9 Rabbits and Boba House are a combined shop. When you walk in the daily bakery items are laid out on a table. To the left is the sitting area. To the right is desserts and the cashier to place your order. They have breakfast items on a menu on the counter and the drinks listed on a menu board. They have options that are also not listed. My fiancé always gets honeydew smoothie (they call it blended) and the cashier told us they do have it just not listed. He says it was good and thick. I got the lavender milk tea, it was good, a little on the sweet for me. We got a Texan burrito and my fiancé says it was really good. He really likes the sauce that came with it. I got a BEC, it's a bagel sandwich and it was good. The bacon was cooked really well and crispy. We also got some of the bakery items to go. Will try it and maybe update later.

Tanemy B.

Yelp
I always get the taro coconut drink with coffee jelly. The best. The service never disappoints. The place is also pretty cute, they have it nicely decorated and clean.
google avatar

Allie Y.

Yelp
Cute bakery for all in one- desserts, pastries, bobas, tea, smoothies and games! They sometimes have creative menu to keep up with the Korean dessert culture. I find their pastry options to be pretty straight forward and old schooled. You can find classic pastries that many older adults enjoy such as mugwort castera, sweet sesame buns and red bean bread. They added Korean flair to the boba menu by including misutkaru flavors (multi grain). All in all it's a great place to have a chat and play a board game with family/friends while enjoying their drinks and food..
google avatar

Marisa H.

Yelp
This is the closest boba spot to me, but it's not my favorite. The drinks are quite sweet even with less sugar. I would come back for the mango yogurt slush, but would go elsewhere for my milk tea craving. They have a wide selection of baked goods as well. It looks like a good chill spot, but it is pretty packed. also The floor was wet and dirty, so it could be cleaner.

Yelp
I was looking for a tea house in Korean Town. I arrived here around 8 am. I ordered a cup of coffee. The inside was very clean. It was a cold morning. The AC was so strong. Others were okay. I went to the restroom. The door was locked. I asked a barista to open the door. He said' Someone inside". I waited for 10 more minutes. The door was still locked. I asked another barista "What's going on? " He could open the door. There was no one inside. lol. Anyway, thanks.
google avatar

Hannah H.

Yelp
Very cute and quaint spot. A lot of options for sweet bakery items! Just wish maybe they had more savory options to choose from! I like that it is a quiet spot with big booths to sit at and cute environment. :) no complaints with service.
google avatar

Ivy N.

Yelp
I came here to pick up some pastries for my family. I got a taro bun, cream bun, and strawberry cream bun. The cream buns had tasty whipped filling and the cream tasted really fresh, but the bun itself wasn't as soft as I expected it to be. I didn't eat the taro bun but my mom did and her opinion was the same. Inside is very cute and clean, and they have a large assortment of pastries and drinks. I would opt for a pastry from 85 Degrees more though because it's more affordable and tastier.
google avatar

Richard T.

Yelp
I've been here before I think when it was called something else. i got a peach black tea, the tea was good, but the boba was way too rock hard. I will give them another chance, but I will sample the boba first lol
google avatar

Yelp
I love Asian bakeries, and saw this while driving around exploring Dallas. This is a Korean bakery and immediately noticed the typical baked goods you would see in a Korean bakery. I always go for the red bean buns, and that was super good as usual. They also offered boba and gave that a try. I tried their milk tea and it wasn't my favorite milk tea I've tried, I felt the boba was a little bit too soft but overall not bad. It's a lovely business and the people were friendly.
