Google
Been wanting to try this place for a minute. Very big Vietnamese menu with a few chinese dishes. We had Sizzling woba and Sweet n sour Chicken +Shrimp. The Sizzling was fantastic... The sweet n sour chicken was like chicken from the mall. The shrimp wasnt fresh and seemed to be frozen. Ive had sweet and sour sauce from a multitude of places and something seemed missing from the sauce. The LEMONADE we had to drink was FANTASTIC!! The bright spot in this meal was the drink...

Got some takeout for lunch. The portions were very generous. My meal was very delicious and the price point was reasonable. The food was fresh and delicately packed. The restaurant provided all the proper utensils needed for my lunch. -yummy 😋

Google
We had a great time in this place with friends! Good to be introduced to nice people and I felt great experiencing Asian restaurants in different places. The food and service are amazing! We were taken care of very well and the food is worth it for the price! Keep it up!

Google
We had a decent to good meal here while passing through. Food was fresh, nicely presented and service was fine. Menu prices weren't too bad. Interestingly enough the bill had a cash price and a card price (about 3% more). I'm not sure if this is a local practise, I haven't seen it before.

Food was simple , place was clean, lots of dining tables , would recommend to anyone who wanna eat at a quiet spot away from loud crowds

Google
I love how this place has a lot of variety and options when it comes to authentic Vietnamese food! It makes eating family style so much easier because you can order multiple entrees to please everyone’s preferences. My favorite has to be their hot pot. Very large portion and flavorful. Lots of veggies and protein for reasonable prices! The remodel of the interior is more modern compared to years ago, but the bathrooms still need some more up-keep. Service is okay, but relatively decent for this type of restaurant. I try to eat here once in awhile especially when my family and friends want traditional Vietnamese food Edit: Feb 2024 Tried their spring rolls where you grill your own protein and thoroughly enjoyed it! Very reasonably priced, and the quality of the beef was fantastic. I love how they give an abundance of veggies and rice paper! If you don’t feel like eating spring rolls at home, this is a great spot to enjoy it!

Google
I was looking for sone authentic Vietnamese food while i e New Oeans but it ended up not what I was expecting. We ordered phở đặc biệt and grilled pork rice plate. The pho was kind of bland. The rice plate was ok. The good thing about this place was their big portion. Service was ok, just like any other Vietnames restaurant. They brought out the food and never came back until you've asked for the bill.

Google
Great selection of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Very Generous portions and excellent presentation. Aside from a large selection of their traditional Vietnamese dishes the Lunch Specials @ $12⁰⁰ -14⁰⁰ are well worth checking out. Mongolian Beef ($13⁰⁰) had every vegetable expected: bell peppers, onions, bamboo shoots, carrots, snow peas, & 2 different kinds of mushrooms along with tasty tender beef in a sauce made correctly. Served with Shrimp Fried Rice with 5 very decent sized Shrimp in it. Wonton Soup and extra fried Wontons included. This was not basic hole-in-the-wall Chinese take out type food, but actual cuisine! To note: This restaurant has a great reputation with the local Asian communities.

Yelp
Wow my last review is almost 11 years old! 9 Roses is still one of the OG Vietnamese restaurants in the GNO. I LOVE the chao tom (shrimp paste on sugarcane skewers) and you build your own wrap at the table. They also have a few Chinese favorites. Plus good vegetarian options. Service is good and the restaurant is always clean and the parking lot is easy to navigate. Accessibility for those in wheelchairs is also good.

Yelp
Dining at 9 roses was such a culinary experience! If you are looking to have an authentic Vietnamese food experience, I highly recommend making the trip out to the West Bank to dine here. We started off with the Spring Roll Grill and it was so delicious. They prepared all of the ingredients and we got both chicken and shrimp for our spring rolls. Additionally, we have one of the Moo Shoo pancakes and it was a new experience and new food that I tried for the first time. We also got the catfish dish with rice and had one of the hot and sour soups. They were so many options and this place felt so authentic to be able to try and explore different Vietnamese dishes. We were honestly very full with our first two dishes as a group of 4 and they were so generous with their portion sizes with affordable prices. I definitely plan on bring friends and family in the future when they are visiting in the near future one day again!

Yelp
Excellent food and service. The favorite was the pho. Plently of noodles, meat, and broth for the price. The chao tom was not for me. Lack of shrimp flavor and tasted really oily.

Yelp
9 Roses is always a great place to visit. A local treasure; food and service are great. A huge menu with so many options to choose from and they always deliver. I always get the char-broiled pork and lemongrass chicken and it is always great. The place is a fantastic family venue and a warm ambiance.

Yelp
WOW this place has probably one of the largest menus of anyplace in the New Orleans metro area!!! It isn't as large at it used to be but it is still quite extensive and includes items I've never seen at other restaurants in the area. They have abalone soup, various versions of pho, Chinese, Vietnamese, and several other Asian dishes thrown in for fun. The only complaint I've got is they don't offer jasmine tea like several other Vietnamese places do (maybe they do and I just don't know how to order it). I see more Vietnamese people eating here than just about any other place I've eaten in the area so maybe that means this is a really good authentic Vietnamese place. I really enjoy the food here and it is a really good value and actually just a downright cheap place to eat with fantastic food. They have some great value lunch specials here that are larger in portion size than many other restaurants dinner size portions! My video review of 9 Roses is here: https://youtu.be/eEtwdOCe8sI

Yelp
Casual Chinese and Vietnamese restaurant in the Westbank. We got the make your own spring rolls with beef and shrimp. It was soo good. Service was fast.
google avatar

Biggy E.

Yelp
The food is mediocre. The service is poor. The ambiance is old, gloomy and unappealing. The waiter was friendly, but the waitresses were awful. They pushed for the full menu rather than the lunch special. The shrimp and pork rolls tasted weird; I'm unsure if it's the pork or shrimp. NOT fresh. The eggplant dish was delicious. I don't understand how anyone recommends this place.

Yelp
I gave the 4 star review as an overall score for the restaurant, including past visits. If I were rating just this food and experience, it woumd be a 1. Let me start by saying that 9 roses has been a favorite vietnamese food spot of mine for over 20 years, back before they moved to their current location . I was craving mandarin chicken and happened to be on the west bank, when I saw they made it, my first thought is their vietnamese is great, I'm sure this will be good too. I was wrong. First, I was getting it to go, they informed me that the to go order does not include the soup, that normally comes with the lunch special. I thought, "maybe they don't have soup togo containers", until she asked if I wanted to order it separately. No change in the price for not getting the soup either. I reread the menu and it said it came with tea, which when I asked for it, they seemed annoyed. I drove about 15 minutes home, so it shouldn't be too different than what you would get with dine in. The chicken was overcooked and very chewy. The gravy is super bland and the egg roll was very greasy. The fried rice was pretty bland too. I will not order chinese there again, but will return for their yummy vietnamese food. Very disappointing for over $14.

Yelp
I do think 9 Roses suffers a little in quality because they do too many things. With a menu this big, not everything can be a hit. I get better Chinese at restaurants that are specifically Chinese. Same with Vietnamese. I've never had anything bad here, but nothing is so overwhelmingly good that I go back for it. I go here typically if I'm with someone who likes Chinese but not Vietnamese so we can each get our preference. Pricing is a bit steep compared to other Asian restaurants on this side of the river.

Yelp
It's sometimes the little things: the bathroom stall doors swing outward, which is what all bathrooms doors should do, but I digress. The food comes out fast fast at this traditional Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant. The salted plum soda is surprisingly delicious, and my Hot Pot catfish was good the first and the second time!!! The hot and sour soup was also HITTING! Only thing that was a bit underwhelming was the fresh summer rolls. All and all it was a great dining experience on the other side of the river!

Yelp
Food is solid. Menu is extensive and for a first timer very overwhelming. However the menu is very exotic to the foreigner. This is my second time dining. I had lemongrass shrimp and white rice. I also had an iced coffee. Service was good and professional. Ambiance is nice and typical.
google avatar

Felix P.

Yelp
The food is good and the apps to. The service is great. Ambiance's like very traditional in Vietnam.

Yelp
I was in New Orleans and was really craving authentic Vietnamese food. We ordered the Canh Chua (sweet and sour catfish soup), Ca Kho To (caramelized catfish), with the Bò Tái Chanh (Lemon Medium-Rare Beef). Everything was so fresh and delicious. The star of the show was the canh chua, with the perfect balance of sweet and sour. The menu selection had a lot of diverse traditional Vietnamese food, from the typical Pho that you would see. Highly recommend and will be coming back!

Yelp
We love vietnamese food. Food was really good here. We came around 12pm and it wasn't busy. We were seated right away. Service was good. Big and spacious place. Indoor dining only. raw beef salad- so good beef and pork spring rolls- good clams in basil sauce- very big clams , very good duck salad- very good catfish sour soup- very good

Yelp
We grew up on 9 Roses and we tend to always come back every so often for nostalgia and the food is still good and everything we hoped for. This time we ordered the Mi Xao Don Do Bien (crispy fried egg noodles w/ seafood) and Goi Thai Lan (Thai Inspired Salad)... it definitely hit the spot! Sometimes service can be hit or miss; they're trying to keep up with short staff and high demands but we try to not be rude about it. But this time they were quite attentive and quick. So we're still happy! @phidingthefam

Yelp
9 Roses has been a Grena/Westbank jewel for many decades. One cannot go there enough. It has a great ambiance and service always good. There are many time honored dishes that we are over the decades. The Thai seafood salad, string beans with shrimp, eggplant shrimp dishes are couple of things to mention but this would be a very long review if one goes into talking about different offerings. So, just go there and have feast. My family intentionally over orders to be able to carry a lot of leftovers to take home for next days.

Yelp
Our family of four just had our first meal of the year here! The owner (or manager maybe) stopped at our table and had conversations with our kids. She even packed our leftovers for us. Everything was delicious. It's going to be a great year. Happy 2024!

Peter P.

Yelp
Recently had the opportunity to go back to 9 Roses a couple of times recently, after too long of an absence, and it's still very good. I was very fortunate to go with someone from Vietnam, who suggested some of the traditional dishes - all were good and recommended- the Banh Xeo, with it's different green leaves to wrap the omelette in and dip in a sauce, the Muc Chief Bot, which had a great batter - maybe the best I've had with calamari, the Vietnamese egg rolls, which were ok, the Ca Kho To, which was a very succulent and tender catfish cooked in a clay pot in a delicious brown gravy that you probably would not know was made wish fish sauce and sugar, and a soup and salad, the names of which I don't remember, but were very ok. I will try the lotus salad next time, and get many of the same - great place when you are looking for a change, fresh, and light.

Yelp
Found this place on yelp looking for somewhere to get soup close to work. I ordered a chicken dish for for a coworker as well. When I walked in I noticed the place looked really nice. It smelled delicious in there. My soup was really good and I tried my coworker's chicken. It was delicious. I did laugh at the ziplock bags they used to put our accompaniments in though. I'll def get food from here again though.

Yelp
I just wrapped up my 5th or 6th visit to NOLA. This trip was different since I'd already done all of the tourist stuff and this time I was here for work. It's also the first time I've had a car in NOLA, which was totally liberating and really opened up a whole host of new food options for me. I'd heard that there was a fairly well-established Vietnamese community somewhere around so I asked friends in the know who directed me to Gretna and to 9 Roses. It's an easy drive right across the river, an easy 15 minutes out of the FQ. We arrived at 7pm on a weeknight and were nervous as we had no reservation and the parking lot was full. It was busy inside but they were still able to seat us right away. Like so many other places these days, they were a bit understaffed and the service was slow but wow was the food worth the wait. They have a huge menu of things to choose from. I saw other people eating pho, whole fish, and some kind of meat being grilled tableside. It all looked so good. The menu also has a number of less common Vietnamese dishes as well. The dish that I'm not soon to forget was the Octopus Salad. Slices of tender octopus are mixed with fresh herbs, onions, and crisp green papaya (I think!) tossed in a rich, umami fish sauce based dressing with citrus and a bit of chili. Crush in the provided shrimp crackers from the separate bowl and you've got the most flavorful, textured, savory, piquant "salad" you've ever had. (I could drink that sauce!) I also ordered the banh hoi nem nuong (grilled ground pork patties on pressed rice noodles) and really liked it. The meat was a bit more rubbery than I'm accustomed to, almost like a Chinese fish ball, but the flavors were spot on. This was not a small meal at all but a welcome break from all the heavy NOLA cuisine I'd been eating. I look forward to coming back here again on my next trip out.

Yelp
It's been 10 years since my last review, and I know my Vietnamese food now. While 9 Roses is good, it isn't the best of the best. On my visit, we had calamari, pork spring rolls, and pho tai. The calamari was TOUGH and relied way too much on the sauce for flavor The pork spring rolls were decent. The pho tai- my goodness. I'm sorry, but it had no flavor. NONE. I was shocked because I know people rave about this place. My "go-to" pho is Pho Bang, but the pho here just lacked so much flavor. I couldn't even finish it. Also, the service. We felt very rushed. The waiter would come and slam things around on the table. If you know me, you know a lot has to be happening for me to complain. This was a lot.
google avatar

Tracey H.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh food! Lovely staff! Friendly service! Delightful place to stop in and have lunch or dinner.
google avatar

Niki W.

Yelp
I just don't understand the great reviews for this place. We've eaten there twice in the last few months, and it was mediocre at best both times. Today I got the chargrilled pork vermicelli bowl, and the pork was more like indescribable meat pressed together into a patty and then made super salty. It was not typical grilled pork, and it wasn't chargrilled either. Never again.

Kathryn S.

Yelp
On the recommendation of our dealer, Thanh, at Caesar's, we ate there. He did not lead us to the wrong place. I will start with the only negative, that really was not under their control. Their A/C system was leaking and required us to sit differently in a booth. The heat and humidity really does a number on things. Everything else reminded my husband of food he used to have at home. We had the Hot and Sour Soup with Shrimp and the Claypot Catfish. Both of them were excellent dishes. The Hot and Sour soup had a vegetable called Elephant Ear. I have not had it in so long and did not realize how much I missed it until we had the soup. The ingredients were so fresh, and the taste was perfect. Many restaurants cheat, but we could tell they used pineapple in the soup. We asked that they dampen the spiciness, and they did so. I am not a fan of Claypot Catfish, but this catfish was really good. Usually, the fish is dry. However, the catfish was so moist and so flavorful. I am so glad we came. We did not have to wait until we got home for some comfort food. Our dealer also recommended the charbroiled wraps, but it was too hot for it. However, it seemed like the most popular thing to have. Hopefully, it will be cold the next time we are in New Orleans. We will definitely try it then. If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food made from fresh ingredients, I recommend 9 Roses.
google avatar

Chuk V.

Yelp
Food seems pre cut, pre cooked, pre prepared. It's got a very I-bought-all-this-stuff-at-Hong-Kong-Market-and-heated-it-up vibe. Very very uninspired. Bo-Bo platter was the worst offender. I did like the vietnamese lemongrass soup broth.

Belinda L.

Yelp
Flavorless. I ordered the Barbecue pork with mixed vegetables and it just didn't have any flavor at all. I'm giving it a three because the service was good and the manager didn't charge me for my meal. I would go back but would get the Pho. That looked very good.
google avatar

Adam N.

Yelp
If there was a (-) star I would give it to this place. The staff is rude and disrespectful. Our party of 5 came in and was ushered to our table. The waitress shows up 5-10 mins later and took our drink order. We asked her to take our order and she replied,"I don't do that, I only do drinks!" I asked her to get the "food" waitress for us then. 10 minutes later she shows up with our water I asked her again where is our waitress? She replied," she is very busy and will come as soon as she can!" When she did arrive she just told us what we wanted instead of us ordering. Needless to say, we waited another 30 minutes for 6 dishes. Do not come here

Mary W.

Yelp
In my opinion, this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in New Orleans. The quality is consistently high, both ingredients and preparation. Menu is extensive with too many excellent dishes to review here. Last night we enjoyed fried calamari, coconut curry shrimp and sauteed baby bokchoy. Anna, the owner/chef is always there.
google avatar

Chelle L.

Yelp
I've come here before to try their pho and I wasn't very impressed with it and would recommend other places for pho but I went here recently to try their hotpot since we had a craving for it and it was decent but I'm not sure I would get it again. They have lots of different menu options to try so I would come back again to try they banh xeo and other Vietnamese items but so far I haven't been too impressed with their pho or hotpot items. Decent service and nice atmosphere for dining though.

Samuel R.

Yelp
Delivery order arrived poorly packaged and missing condiments. Also, specific requests were not followed, even though the item choices offered them. Did not eat onsite.

Yelp
Always a 10/10 meal here. I missed it so much during its renovation hiatus. But it's so nice leaving there without smelling completely like food. Come with a group of 2 or more so you can order everything! My favs to order here: Bo tai chanh - cured beef with lemon, red onions Banh xeo - turmeric crepe with shrimp and pork belly. Wrap in lettuce for extra yum. Ca kho to - clay pot braised catfish Canh chua ca - sour catfish soup Suon rim add quail eggs and tofu - braised pork ribs Ga xao xa ot - chicken stir fried with lemongrass and chili. Not as spicy as it sounds. Ngheu xao la que - clams stir fried with basil Bo muc tom nuong Vi - beef squid and shrimp on the hot grill - eaten like spring rolls Snow pea leaves or water spinach sautéed in garlic There are plenty more delicious dishes. I really don't think you can go wrong! They do get busy but food usually comes out pretty fast. Already drooling and wanting for more and I was just there a couple days ago.

Yelp
This is one of the few Vietnamese restaurants in all the New Orleans/Metairie/West Bank area and unfortunately, it's not that great. My boyfriend and I decided to give it a try based on all the positive reviews on yelp. Food: I had the egg roll vermicelli and my boyfriend had the chargrilled pork with rice and we shared the Vietnamese crepe (banh xeo). Filling was super sparse in the banh xeo. And it was mostly all bean sprouts. The actual egg rolls were ok, not the best I've ever had, but the noodles were hard and off putting. Also, the bowl was more like 70% vegetables at the bottom and 30% noodles and egg rolls. My boyfriend had the chargrilled pork with rice and he said the taste was ok. The plate itself looked kinda sad to me. Service: slow/nonexistent. I saw my waiter a total of twice throughout the whole dinner: once at the beginning when he took our order and at the end when he gave us our checks. Atmosphere: apparently they just renovated the place. I don't know how it looked before but it's pretty spacious and the walls are colorful and "hip". At least the place was clean. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience and I probably won't be back anytime soon. The search for a good Vietnamese spot continues
google avatar

Randall S.

Yelp
Service was a tad slow when we went. Food was great! Everything was great. Still one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in New Orleans. Get the Muc Rang Muoi. It was so good, we had to order a second plate of it.
google avatar

Yelp
After living in nola most of my life, I am so sad that I hadn't been here earlier. Love this place so much! The interior is beautiful and has plenty of open space. Service was prompt and the waitress was super friendly. But let me tell you about the pho. Wow, I have never had such tender beef flank in pho. It literally melted in my mouth. The broth was perfectly flavored, not too salty. The noodles were the best quality noodles I've ever tried in pho. We also tried the egg rolls which had the greatest crunch and flavor. Overall, will definitely be coming back here multiple times to try more of the menu! This place is great for friends or family meals and have plenty of large tables for larger groups.

Trudi R.

Yelp
My husband & I had dinner Thursday night at Nine Roses. It was early not crowded but the service was very slow. We waited for 15 min before anyone even acknowledged us. And another 20 min before she took our drink order. We ordered Calamari as an appetizer big mistake. What we were served was fried rubber bands. The worst I ever had. The rest of the meal went about the same. Asparagus dish was mostly tough stems. Never going back
google avatar

Amy F.

Yelp
Every few years, I revisit 9 Roses, and am reminded why it's been a few years. Each dish I have tried has been overcooked and bland. Today, it was the egg noodles with seafood. The noodles were tough, and all of the seafood (shrimp, scallop, crab stick, calamari) was rubbery and inedible. The Vietnamese fried egg rolls were okay, crunchy, but most of the flavor seemed to come from the cooking oil. I suppose there are dishes on the menu that are just great, but haven't found one yet and think I'm done trying. Oh well.
google avatar

Aarti J.

Yelp
By far the WORST hot and sour soup that I have ever tried in my entire life. Kung Pao Chicken was solid. Spring Rolls were meh. Would probably try the other options since there are wayyy too many
google avatar

Karen K.

Yelp
I've been coming here as a kid. I had my 16th birthday lunch here because we spent a weekend in NOLA. I brought all my friends from MS down. I really have the best memories here. Everytime my parents and I would come down or now they come down to visit, we could come here and get the grill and make our own summer rolls. I absolutely love the marinated beef but my parents love the calamari and shrimp. That sauce though. It is like a fish pineapple sauce and I literally could bathe in it. If i'm coming by myself or get to-go, I usually order the spring/summer rolls. My mom says they are summer rolls but some call it spring. I also love the rice and vermicelli plates with the grilled pork. So good. But also, they have family style too like ca kho (braised catfish), canh chua (sour soup) and all sorts of family style. I can't wait to come back with a group and use their new grills!
google avatar

Meagan J.

Yelp
I was not impressed. So many people have shared great experiences of this restaurant so it's sad that I can't do the same. I preferred the general chicken and fried rice. The chicken had no flavor, usually general chicken is known for its spicy and sweet flavor but this was none of the above. It tasted as if it came out of the freezer section of Walmart or the frozen pf chang box. No disrespect but it was flavorless and lacked texture, no crunchy exterior just soggy. The rice was bland as well. No seasoning, flavor, or anything. Everything was underwhelming. I literally threw the entire dish away! Won't go back.

Yelp
I have been here 3 times when visiting New Orleans and it never disappoints. Excellent food and friendly staff. It's always a treat to go with my friends here.

Yelp
Kinda hidden with great food. Atmosphere: This restaurant is not in the best neighbourhood, but the building itself looks well maintained compared to it's surroundings. When you walk in, there is not much of a foyer, but a fish tank immediately at the door, and a check out counter to your left. The restaurant itself is dark, not my favourite because I like to be able to see my food. The decor is simple, nothing in particular stands out other than the large cylindrical fish tank. Food: The food is very good, very flavourful. The menu is comprised of both Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. This is my third time at this restaurant, and have not yet tried any of the Chinese items. The canh chua do bien was sweet and sour, with plenty of vegetables and seafood. I do recommend doing it hot pot style. Bo loc lac was flavoured very well, slightly salty and slightly, however, it was not as crispy as I normally have it in their restaurants. The goi do bien was accompanied with fried shrimp chips, it was a really nice texture contrast from the salad of young lotus root, celery, onion, shrimp, and squid. The ca kho to was quite salty though, a little more than what I am used to, but still palatable. This restaurant also serve pho, but there are so many pho places at home, ordering non-pho items in a Vietnamese restaurant is a huge bonus. Service: There is nothing memorable about the service. We were not in a fancy restaurant, so we did not expect excellent customer attention, and we were not ignored either. The waitstaff gave us plenty of time to look over the menu to decide what we wanted. The only thing we didn't like was the wait for the food, it was nearly twice as long as most other Vietnamese restaurants we usually frequent for these same dishes. We will definitely come back here again when in New Orleans. *Women's restroom is very tight in the stalls. My knees hit the door when bending downward to sit, my head hit the door when trying to take up. Avoid if you are tall, unless you really need to go

Yelp
My dining partner and I stopped in for dinner and ordered steak pho, rice noodles with veggies and calamari for an appetizer. We also wanted to order the dumplings but I have a food allergy and when I asked the waitress what the ingredients were she said she didn't know and stated they were not made in house and no one would be able to tell me. Needless to say that wasn't the best start but we were hoping the rest of the items would be good. The pho and rice noodle dishes were fine but the calamari dish was probably the worst I've had. It had the consistency of chicken tenders. The menu at 9 Roses is pretty extensive so I'm guessing I didn't order the best dishes I could've.

Yelp
Delicious Vietnamese food every time. We typically do family style dinners but their individual meals are great too

Yelp
Came here yesterday for lunch and we were seated within a couple of minutes in a booth. We ordered the bo-bo platter, canh chua ca extra sour, and the bo luc lac. The food this time and last time tasted amazing, although last time I went, the quail eggs in the thit kho were a bit firm/ stiff? The service was very quick this time and last, and the food was amazing. I looove love love canh chua, and this one fits my standards! The bo luc lac was perfectly tender, and not overcooked and chewy.

Yelp
This was my second time visiting this restaurant, the first was years ago. I remember the first time being better than this visit, not that this visit was bad. The restaurant has been remodeled with a modern flare and Korean BBQ equipment at the tables. We had the crab rangoons, Vietnamese egg rolls, combination fried rice, and orange chicken. The crab rangoons were the best part of the meal, in my opinion, having just the right consistency. The Vietnamese egg rolls were the second best part. They are a little different from Chinese egg rolls, but the same concept, would get again. The chicken and rice were a la carte. The rice over all was good, it was a shrimp, chicken, beef, and some type of pork sausage fried rice. My only compliant was that the shrimp taste funny, so I avoided them. Other than that I stole some sauce from the orange chicken and went on my merry way. The orange chicken was very flavorful, however, the chicken itself was just too dry for me. This is a great place for families and lovers of Vietnamese cuisine, with a few Chinese dishes mixed it. May return to try their pho. The staff was friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions about the menu, giving detailed information about certain items.

Yelp
The food is decent. The staff is pretty rude. I've never written a yelp review before, but they were so rude I had write one. Particularly this lady.

Yelp
Portion sizes here are huge. We ordered: seafood salad. - Very good, however our preference is very spicy and it was missing that in our opinion. But for majority, the kick is there but very soft. Seafood Sour soup hotpot. - more towards the sweet side. Hot and refreshing but does need more turmeric. Plenty of fresh veggies. Fair amount of seafood. Imitation crabmeat shouldn't be added. Whole fried fish with ginger sauce. - fish is crispy and fresh. But the sauce did not belong. The sauce belong to a boil duck dish. But each to their own. All in all good experience. Good luck!

Yelp
We ordered the beef combo pho. It was ok. Broth wasn't as flavorful as other pho broths I've tried. Nice amount of meat. We got more Thai basil then anything else but that's ok because I love the stuff. Tried other stuff from 9 roses and everything is just ok.
