Every once and a while, I come across a really thoughtful design detail that reels me in. While the name is literally the address, the owners went as far as to make it the closing time as well (9:03PM).
Upon arriving, I felt lucky that it wasn't very busy because of how little parking there was. Customers can park along the adjacent lake, but it can be a bit of a walk since that's also residential parking and fills up quickly. Contrastingly, there was so much seating! I wish you could go upstairs for the view, but at least the patio has tons of shaded tables.
The menu was larger than I thought it would be. It was basically broken down into appetizers, salads, wraps, and sandwiches. They even have a you-pick-two option so you can try multiple items at once. Unfortunately, my two top picks wouldn't work with my nut allergy, and I ended up trying something based on a staff recommendation.
The pulled pork sandwich was average, if I'm being honest. The sourdough bread tasted stale, the pork's dryness was covered up by overdoing it with the sauce, and I thought the slaw was underwhelming. The side salad, which was included in the combo up-charge, came in an extremely small side dish that I've seen some restaurants use for butter. For $15, I would've liked to taste more flavor or authenticity.
This being said, the service was wonderful! I loved talking through the menu, pastries, and locally sourced canned brews with the staff. They're very enthusiastic about the restaurant and make it easy to ask questions.
