Yelp
Soooo good! I've been here 3 times now and it never disappoints. Appetizers, entrees, and naan are fantastic! I recommend the bullet naan. They also serve Indian beers. Restaurant is lively but not loud. Servers are always very accommodating, attentive, and happy to make recommendations. I'm so glad we have a quality Indian restaurant in Mt Pleasant.

Yelp
Excited to see great Indian food in Charleston! We celebrated our birthdays here last week and Naan delivered on a wonderful lunch experience. We began with white wine and Pakora, which was super crispy (yet needed the sauces for flavor) and the Naan sampler plate. I love naan yet wasn't a fan of the Amristsari Kulcha so will stick with garlic naan in future visits. For entrees, I chose the Veggie Korma and my sister chose the chef special Paneer Roll-up Curry. Both were very good with the Paneer Roll-up Curry sauce our favorite. We couldn't finish our entrees and took leftovers home which were delicious reheated. And then they surprised us with a complimentary piece of mango cheesecake - really special. We will gladly return to Naan when in the area and explore different menu items. Service was warm and helpful and seating was comfortable. I highly recommend.

Yelp
Butter chicken. Chicken Tikka Masala. Naan. It's ALL amazing! All the dishes at Naan are authentic and full of flavor. The portions are generous and large enough to be shared if you get an appetizer as well. Make sure you make a reservation or go early, because this place fills up fast. If you like Indian food, or haven't really ever tried it, Naan will not disappoint!

Yelp
If you're in Mount Pleasant, SC, and craving delicious Indian food, Naan is definitely worth a visit. The food was excellent -- I had the chicken tikka masala, which was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. Paired with the garlic naan, it was the perfect combination. The naan was soft, warm, and perfectly fragrant with garlic. Although the tikka was a little spicy, I enjoyed it. The service was friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience. The decor was modern yet cozy, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This is a really beautiful restaurant, visually very attractive. There's outdoor seating, an indoor dining area, and a stunning bar. The food was not bad, a little on the spicy side, but flavors were pretty standard Indian from my experience. Nothing particularly stood out to me, but all was good. Portion sizes are quite large. I would suggest to the restaurant to offer some lunch specials. Service was a bit on the slower side, but I'm not complaining if things are made fresh to order. Staff was kind.

Yelp
We had the Chana masala, chicken tika masala side of fried rice and the children's shrimp. Everyone loved their meal. Friendly staff, food came out quick. They had 10,000 Monks beer which I haven't had in YEARS since I would eat in a very Indian neighborhood in NY. I highly recommend this beer to any beer drinker. The tables are all low tops, half booth seating half chairs which was good for our toddler. Nice full bar with bar seating. Parking lot in front and outdoor seating. Absolutely delicious, we will certainly be back Good for date night, girls night, family dinner

Yelp
Absolute perfection, from decor, to service to food!!! I ordered the Dosa and to my surprise it was a traditional feast for the eyes and the taste buds served with delicious dipping sauces. I had the Masala Dosa stuffed with potatoes, onions, curry leaves and mustard seeds, which was a very mild flavor, if you are just getting you buds interested in trying Indian food. I love Pakora, julienned veggies dipped in a spice batter and fried. Other must try things are Samosa, mash potato and peas, with cumin and ginger wrapped inside a pastry dough. And Okra Fries...sliced and tossed in Indian spices and fried. This real estate spot has had its challenges but I believe Naan will be around for a long time...at least I certainly hope so. For Indian food, one of my faves, this place was beyond expectations!!!

Yelp
Tucked into a shopping strip, naan has a cute curb appeal and an outdoor eating patio. Make reservations for weekends as their indoor seating is limited. We enjoyed the butter chicken, garlic naan, and mango lassi! Will be back to try their other menu items.

Yelp
If I could give this place more than five stars, I would definitely do it, and I normally never ever would say this! The moment you walk into this restaurant, you are hit with the most amazing smells of spices and food that you are instantly hungry. The location is in a shopping mall which is completely fine and once you walk in, it is more on the fine dining establishment. You don't need to wear a tuxedo or anything just nothing with ripped jeans or ripped holes in your shirt. We sat at the bar because we usually sit there to get our cocktails. A little bit faster and service is always better. The gentleman that was helping us was Luciano, I hope I spelled his name correctly. He was very knowledgeable, very sweet and even made me a cocktail with mango in it that was delicious. We usually always order our two favorites items and we even asked the employees there what they would recommend because we kept going back on the tiki masala or the butter chicken and they told us to have the butter chicken. The butter chicken was so flavorful. The chicken was so moist, and the flavor was being bang pow in your mouth. We also ordered the cheese paneer that comes in the spinach and that was fabulous as well. Don't forget to do a little bit of a southern thing at our Indian restaurant and order the okra. French fries. The portions are very big so come prepared to be hungry and never forget to get the garlic naan. That was one of the best things that we ordered on the menu because you actually got to see the big chunks of garlic and butter sitting on top of it. Both dishes I believe came with a side of rice, but don't take my word for it. Make sure to ask. If you want some great Indian food with a great ambience and great service come check Naan out because you will not be disappointed

Yelp
Sometimes, you are in the mood for some delicious curry/Indian food and then stumble onto a new spot like NAAN in Mount Pleasant (next to Whole Foods). My wife was telling me she found this new spot, and we just happened to be in Mount Pleasant, so we gave it a shot. What a great addition to this area. We do not eat much in Mt. P because we live on James Island, but we love trying new restaurants. We were delighted with the service, location, and food quality. There was SO much on the menu that I wanted to order, but we kept it simple on this sitting because we weren't super hungry. We tried the vegetable samosas, got the garlic naan, which is a must, and then split the Tikka Masala. Dipping that naan in that Tikka Sauce is the move, TRUST! We washed it all with a Masala Chai tea because it was chilly that day. All in all, there is so much more to explore on this menu. I will be coming back to try more dishes. I think this is a great spot to come with a bunch of friends and try a bunch of dishes. Enjoy!

Yelp
Tried Naan last time after ordering a promo on uber eats. Wen only picked up to go but the inside and table service looked very elegant and modern. I had the paneer tika Malala, and it was good but seemed to lack some spice to it. I think I will need to ask for it to be spicier the next time. The portions were smaller than other spots, but the prices matched accordingly.

Yelp
Having visited their original location in North Charleston, we were thrilled to see that Naan expanded to Mount Pleasant, and their new spot did not disappoint. The space is stunning--you can tell they put great effort into making it inviting and fun. They even have an impressive outdoor seating area that, despite being part of a strip mall, feels cozy and intimate. As lovers of Indian cuisine, we couldn't resist starting with two types of naan: garlic and rosemary. The garlic naan, as always, was a standout with its bold and savory flavors. Every dish we ordered was packed with delicious, complex flavors that left us excited for our next visit. I found myself eyeing the dishes being served to other tables, already planning what to try next time! If you've never experienced Indian food, Naan is a perfect place to start. The servers are attentive and do a fantastic job of explaining the dishes so you can make the best choice for your palate. And for those who enjoy spiced and flavorful dishes, this spot should be at the top of your list.

Yelp
Today was our first visit to Naan next to Whole Foods in Mt. Pleasant. It's a beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous bar and ideal covered outdoor patio. Lunch was busy with diners. They offered us a regular dinner menu which I felt was too much for lunch. We asked for a lunch menu and it was ideal. A Thalli set up which came with a selection of different mains, naan, rice & dessert. Perfect amount of food and an ideal way to sample a variety of dishes. They also have a vegetarian thalli. Our meal was fantastic. Service on point and cost very reasonable. Our whole experience was great and we will definitely return for dinner.

Yelp
Another awesome find and so glad we have an upscale Indian restaurant in our back yard. Abundant menu, incredible cocktail and beer menu. So many incredible appetizers. You will leave this authentic restaurant with a circus in your mouth. Best of all is the customer service. They treat you like family here. Our server was amazing.

Taylor M.

Yelp
Good as very good, it was over an hour wait for anything to come to the table but everything was good, first time visitors. Will try another night.

Amy H.

Yelp
This would've been a 5 star review if the food didn't take over 30 minutes, our server forgot our dessert, and we didn't have water for the first 15 minutes. Otherwise the food was delicious, best Indian food around here for sure. Great variety of naan and this place actually serves rice with our curry.

Nikhil K.

Yelp
The food is very good. The butter chicken is one of the best I've had and the chicken pieces were super tender. The amount of curry they provide is a lot. Extra rice (which is needed given the amount of curry) is quite expensive at $5, seems very overpriced. Otherwise, staff are very pleasant and helpful. There is a nice indoor and outdoor seating option.

Ginger M.

Yelp
Amazing food and great service! Everything we tried was good from appetizers to deserts. Thank you Andres!

Jill G.

Yelp
Great new spot in Mt. P. Food was absolutely delicious. Beautifully decorated. Service was a tad slow

Marnie T.

Yelp
Out of town working in the area & finally tried Naan. When I come back in a few weeks--I will be back. Quality, great service & decent prices.

Allison S.

Yelp
There were 6 of us dining on a Saturday night. The food was good, the lighting was awfully bright for an evening meal, very harsh and bright led throughout entire restaurant. We won't be back at dinner time. Service was efficient but they would not recommend dishes to us stating " everything is good, too many items to recommend". This was disappointing because they have an extensive menu, pages of items. A little assistance would have been appreciated. Cocktails were average but very expensive

Tara P.

Yelp
Tried out naan for a casual date night out before a movie. This is the type of place where it's best to come with a crew so you can share all kinds of things but we did our best. We didn't make a reservation and there was a 20 min wait, so we sat at the bar for wine (not amazing, but not vinegar) and studied the menu. The host was a bit sharp about not having a reservation and seemed surprised we wanted to wait, but it wasn't that off putting. We were sat at a table at the back dining room and the decor is just super neat. The seats and booth were comfy and everything was super clean. We ordered the onion chili dosa, the veg samosas, then I had the makhani dal and a garlic naan. He had the garlic curry with chicken. Everything was good - the highlight was the dosa with all kinds of yummy dips and sauces. The curry was very oily, but good flavors and tender meat. The dal had great flavor but the naan was a bit dry. Good flavor though! The service was excellent- very attentive and always plenty of water for the spicy food! A solid Indian and we will definitely be back!

Yelp
We had delivery from Naan last night and it was awesome! Food was hot when it arrived and packaged perfectly no messy containers or packages- the ochre appetizer was the bomb and the butter chicken (2 for 1!!) was perfect! We can't wait to dine here again!

Yelp
Went to Naan mount pleasant's grand opening a couple of weeks ago to check it out. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside on the large patio. The menu is pretty huge and our server was patient with us as we read through the many, many options. For a starter we got the Garlic Shrimp and it was very delicious, just enough sweet with the tang! For my meal, I got the Paneer Butter Masala (cottage cheese cubes simmered in rich tomato creme sauce, topped with rice cream and butter). The paneer was flavorful, creamy and very mild. If you are new to Indian Cuisine and are afraid of all the spiciness, I would highly recommend starting with this as it is very mild and not spicy at all. My friend ordered the Lamb Vindaloo (lamb, vinegar and red pepper base curry with potatoes, slow-cooked in a tangy tomato and cream sauce). Thankfully she let me try some of it, and it was sooo good! The lamb was tender, and the vindaloo had the perfect amount of flavor and just enough kick of the spiciness. We also got the Naan Sampler that had butter, garlic and a naan stuffed with potato, cheese & cilantro. Every single one of those was good, as you can never go wrong with freshly baked naan. The portions are pretty big and the prices are pretty reasonable, in my opinion.

Yelp
What a better way to spend a Fall sunny day than enjoying excellent Indian Food at Naan Mt. Pleasant! They have a wonderful outdoor patio area perfect for enjoying the sun and fall breezes! Don't worry about flies since they have those little helicopter stands to keep them at bay! Starting with the drinks I tried the Nimbu Soda. A light Lime soda that comes in sweet or salty. I choose salty and I would recommend sweet since it was a tad too salty for my tastes. My wife went with the Mango Lassi, a delightful milky mango drink perfect for quenching the heat from some of their dishes! On to appetizers we started with the "Tacos". Absolutely delicious, crumbled chicken soaked in sauce in a crunchy wonton shell topped with carrots, cabbage and a Sriracha mayo. It's the perfect marriage of taco and eggroll! It was my favorite bite of the meal and a sin if you miss out on these. Our next appetizer was the Smoked Masala Ribs. Fall off the bone tender charcoal smoked ribs with a vindaloo spice rub. Don't worry the rub is not super spicy. Of course, being an Indian restaurant we had to get some of their Naan bread. They have a nice variety, but we went with the cheese garlic naan because that sounded yummy! I nice basket of perfectly cooked naan perfect for scooping up bites of their entrees. For my main I tried the Garlic Chicken curry which was a chef recommendation. If you see two stars next to an item, it is chef recommended! Perfectly cooked jasmine rice was a great vehicle for the creamy garlicy sauce with tender chunks of chicken. It read as comfort food all the way! My wife is huge Tandoori Chicken fan and couldn't resist. The chicken arrived steaming and bright gold with a generous portion. You can choose between a tomato-based sauce or a spicy sauce, so we went with spicy. Fortunately, it was not too spicy and paired well with the chicken. All their entrees can be served mild, medium or hot, but we went with mild to be on the safe side. Next time I will try to be daring and go medium. Our server Andrea was exceptional and made sure we were well taken care of without being bothersome. Good food, service and definitely friendly people will make your visit a memorable one!

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Great service!! Absolutely wonderfully flavored Indian dishes. My wife had the Chicken Korma-wow! Very smooth and creamy--even better than Butter Chicken--her new favorite!! I had the Goat Biryani...great flavor and texture--you don't know it's goat, and has a little hot. The spices will keep you guessing as to which spice it is!!

Liz B.

Yelp
Everything I tried I loved! Hakka noodles, tikka masala curry, aloo gobi, naan sampler were all fabulous. The medium spice level had kick but was not too much. The service was excellent-friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The atmosphere was great...cozy but modern. I would highly recommend and I can't wait to go back!

Kaley C.

Yelp
Naan has EXCELLENT food, and I am so glad they opened one in Mount pleasant! Their other one in North Charleston is so good so it's great to access delicious saag paneer closer to home. Their cheese garlic naan is amazing! Upon checking out, I asked the waiter if they preferred cash or card tip, they explained to me they do not receive the tip, and could get in trouble if I gave them cash under the table in order to tip them directly. If the business is paying their employees a living wage hourly? That's GREAT!! However- this is not apparent anywhere. I was given the option to tip the usual 18/20/25% via a tablet, and none of that money goes to the person serving my table. To not provide this information up front to customers is deceiving. And if I want to tip my waiter directly for good service in ADDITION to their fair wage, they should be able to keep that money. I will come back for delicious food, but I certainly will not tip. I hope that Naan makes this business practice more apparent to their customers.

Brenda M.

Yelp
The food, services and vibes were impeccable. I ordered the butter chicken with a side of garlic naan. Always a safe choice but the dish was delicious and we will definitely go back while on our trip.

Shelli M.

Yelp
I have dined here twice in the past month, drawn in by the glowing reviews--and it did not disappoint. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and expertly prepared. We enjoyed the Rosemary Naan, samosas, Hakka Noodles, Lamb Vindaloo, and Biryani, each offering a perfect balance of spices and textures. The atmosphere is warm, clean, and inviting, making for a relaxing dining experience. Service was friendly and efficient, and we never had to wait long for our food. We'll definitely be returning!

Janice M.

Yelp
Fresh, beautifully seasoned food. Portions are large and come hot to the table. Well worth the price. Staff very attentive and friendly. Definitely our go to Indian restaurant!

Naresh R.

Yelp
Excellent food and service...the Salmon tikka is to die for! The best fish I have ever had! Highly recommend!!

Michele C.

Yelp
I ordered my food to go and in addition to my order being very authentic and delicious, I was impressed by the restaurant's ambiance. Well done Naan and welcome to the neighborhood!

John W.

Yelp
Food is excellent and full of flavor. The only "not up to par" dish was the chicken Korma. The cuts of chicken were rather thin and a bit too chewy and tough. They have to do something about the lighting in the back dining room. The atmosphere is almost like a high school auditorium. The tables out side and in the front dining room are much more intimate. Salmon Tika is great.

Rene W.

Yelp
Great place great service great food ! Thank you we will be back ! The portions were large we took boxes home .. it was so good we order a lot but it was worth it !

Carol W.

Yelp
Went to Naan at Mt. Pleasant for lunch yesterday. I would like to go back today. Actually, I would like to go every day. It was that good. I had the Paneer Tikka with Korma sauce and flavored rice. Restaurant is lovely, and the service was perfect.

Sarah G.

Yelp
Been dying for good Indian food in Charleston and this DELIVERED!! So good, beyond expectations. The butter chicken is amazing.

Michael R.

Yelp
Incredible over the top service, the food was very authentic and flavorful, the restaurant interior was very Indian. The owner/manager was so friendly and went above and beyond to make our take out perfect. Highly recommend.

Luann C.

Yelp
Absolutely coming back! It's such a fun, cozy place. The food (dosas, curries, malai kebab, and lamb fry) was Incredible!!! The staff were all kind and friendly!

Timothy E.

Yelp
Naan just opened last weekend, and I had been waiting as the restaurant was built. The Mysore Masala Dosa I ordered was excellent as was the lime soda drink. It is all new, and the people there are very friendly and take pride in their kitchen and service. I have added this Indian restaurant to my list of will return again.

Lily P.

Yelp
Every single dish we ordered was fantastic! We ordered the veggie pakora, vada pav, chicken tikka, masala dosa, lamb saag, baigan bharta, and naan sampler. If a dish is spicier than you anticipated, ask for a side of yogurt--it's delicious on its own. Everything was perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor.

Keegan M.

Yelp
The food is great and the service is amazing, Yasser and Nikita are great servers and the place is a great place to get some good food.

Catherine G.

Yelp
Delicious, authentic cuisine. Stunning restaurant. Superb, kind service. Will definitely be a regular diner.

Glenn G.

Yelp
Food is amazing. We loved the one in Pooler and were happy to have one closer. The Chicken Jal Frezy is outstanding. So is the Vindaloo. We've eaten both inside and outside under the pergola. Staff is excellent and very attentive.

Ellen S.

Yelp
This is by far the best Indian food in Charleston! Huge menu with something delicious for everyone. Physical space is lovely too with inside and outside tables.

Blandine R.

Yelp
nous avons très bien mangé. les plats etaient succulents, le personnel au top. je recommande sans problème
