Went to Naan mount pleasant's grand opening a couple of weeks ago to check it out. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside on the large patio. The menu is pretty huge and our server was patient with us as we read through the many, many options. For a starter we got the Garlic Shrimp and it was very delicious, just enough sweet with the tang! For my meal, I got the Paneer Butter Masala (cottage cheese cubes simmered in rich tomato creme sauce, topped with rice cream and butter). The paneer was flavorful, creamy and very mild. If you are new to Indian Cuisine and are afraid of all the spiciness, I would highly recommend starting with this as it is very mild and not spicy at all. My friend ordered the Lamb Vindaloo (lamb, vinegar and red pepper base curry with potatoes, slow-cooked in a tangy tomato and cream sauce). Thankfully she let me try some of it, and it was sooo good! The lamb was tender, and the vindaloo had the perfect amount of flavor and just enough kick of the spiciness. We also got the Naan Sampler that had butter, garlic and a naan stuffed with potato, cheese & cilantro. Every single one of those was good, as you can never go wrong with freshly baked naan. The portions are pretty big and the prices are pretty reasonable, in my opinion.
