"Corner Bar, Burbank. You've never played a more stressful game of Jenga until you test your luck on a wobbly table with a group of inebriated friends. Corner Bar is just the place you go to with your buds for an after dinner libation. With a small collection of board games, karaoke, or trivia on Tuesdays - you can enjoy more than a few laughs at this comfy little dive bar. The bar is stocked, cocktails are well made and the seating is probably too comfortable for a bar. We tried their Kettle One Minted Man, and gave it a two-thumbs up!"

Chained Rabbit Review - Burbank - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Chained Rabbit looks like most dive bars. There’s no sign outside, and the interior is dark with plenty of barstools, a few booths, and way better-than-average bar food. This is a place where a quick after-work drink quickly turns into a night out, especially once the group realizes that Happy Hour runs from 4 to 7pm and involves $6 cocktails. If you stay for food, the shrimp tostadas and fried chicken sandwich are fantastic, and you’ll want an order of the twice-fried fries." - Jess Basser Sanders

Yelp
Stumbled upon this bar looking for happy hour. I really enjoyed the food and drinks here. The best dirty martini I've had in a while! The food was excellent. The beef tallow waffle fries was a show stopper! The chicken wings were HUGE! I wish they gave a little more than 8pcs but it was still filling. The servers/bartenders were amazing. Loved the vibe here. Everyone looked like they were having a good time in here

Yelp
First time here. Didn't know what to expect. Walking in, you enter a modern, comfortable restaurant and bar. Once seated you are greeted and given menus. You order at the bar. We started with a couple of beers and then got a Brussels Sprouts Salad and a double smash burger. The salad was excellent and the burger was "oh my gawd" delicious! Probably the best burger I've had in years! The staff was really cool, accommodating and helpful. This is definitely a great spot for drinks, food and hanging out!

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! We've probably been 5-10 times both in the evening and for brunch. The food is excellent for both brunch and in the evening (restaurant quality, not bar food). The French toast is probably my favorite and the Lox and burrata is excellent. The açaí parfait wasn't my favorite though. The employees are very friendly as well and the drinks are unique. One of my favorite Burbank bars!

Yelp
First time to this place and was pleasantly surprised. A friend wanted to check out the place for brunch, and I said huh.. what.. this isn't a brunch place. I was very wrong. We tried several dishes including the captain crunch french toast. Oh boy! It was sooo good. All the food was delicious and they are so attentive to you and nice. Now a days a value good service in Los Angeles because I feel it's diminishing. This place delivers in service and amazing food.

Yelp
It was a warm, sunny day in March. Perfect weather to get together with my darling gals for Happy Hour and spillin' the tea. Inkwell Tavern is quite charming. Reminiscent of a European pub with its open-air setting and cozy atmosphere. The plethora of books lining the shelves & vintage typewrite emit a literary vibe. Manager Chip was an absolute doll - greeting us with a friendly welcome and making us feel at home. George is skilled at his craft and will whip you up a cocktail or mocktail that will undoubtedly cure what ails you. Happy Hour features $2 off drinks & appetizers and $8 wells. Specialty craft cocktails pay homage to authors or literary works. Craft beer & classic pub fare in addition to creative chef creations are also available. I'm a cocktail snob and will judge a place based on the glassware used and the ability to properly make a classic, so I ordered the Hemingway Daiquiri. It was appropriately presented in a coupe glass and was perfectly balanced - not too tart & not too sweet. George knocked it out of the park. You order at the bar and your drink/food are brought to your table. We shared the Inkwell Fries, which were cooked to perfection. Hot, thick, crispy edges, & a pillowy soft interior. They were lightly sprinkled with sea salt & fine herbs. The side of ranch was the perfect accompaniment. The fries were served in a copper cylinder, which added some finesse to the overall presentation. Much like a true Tavern, Inkwell is a place where folks gather to have a good time and leave their troubles behind. It's a friendly neighborhood hang, a great place to watch sports, work on a screenplay, or enjoy happy hour with friends. (4 - 7 pm Mon - Fri) *Parking available on residential side streets. May have to walk a few blocks. *Brunch Sundays 10 am / Monday Karaoke 8 pm / Tacos, Tequila, & Trivia Tuesday 8 pm / Whisky specials on Wednesday.

Yelp
Attentive service. Lively atmosphere. Cute library-esque decór. Somewhat limited food menu. Good drinks! We ordered the beef tallow fries, which were good, if maybe a tad too saucey on the garlic aioli, and the fries were a tad TOO crispy. We also had the truffle infused burrata salad, which had more greens and cantaloupe than burrata. It was just HALF a burrata and we definitely did NOT taste any essence of truffle in it. Somewhat disappointing for $17 a plate. The winning dish was the baked mac n cheese with garlic shrimp -- the shrimp was perfectly cooked and the mac was cheesy and tasty. Would def order again! Had a Oaxacan Old Fashioned and a couple of drinks from the menu, all of which were solid. Fun place to come hang with friends or on a date.

Yelp
Came in for a little happy hour birthday get together with some gal pals and had such a lovely time! Great mocktails and drinks, excellent service, and I loved the vintage-writer vibes - think Poe meets Hemingway meets old Hollywood - super fun! Their happy hour is weekday evenings and is $2 off drinks and appetizers - with a decent selection to choose from. I'm not a big drinker so it's always a challenge to find a place with an interesting mocktail selection but Inkwell has some awesome choices!! I went with the Whodunnit Mocktail which has lime, ginger, soda and even spicy agave! It was spicy and refreshing- I loved it! And it wasn't overly sweet which was nice. My friend had their Hemingway Daquiri and she enjoyed it - said it was a truly authentic daquiri! We shared some of their fries - generous portions and comes with ketchup and ranch. Their fries are delicious! Ranch dressing can be hit or miss at restaurants and theirs is definitely a hit! Very nice flavors all around. Service is wonderful - warm, welcoming, and attentive. Truly a friendly locals spot. They have bar seating with TV screens, tables scattered around, and some comfy wrap around booths littered with books and old typewriters- I just loved the vibes! They have brunch on Sundays, karaoke on Monday nights, and trivia Tuesdays. Prices are what you'd expect for the area. Parking is almost all street parking (free) - it was easy to find a spot late afternoon on a weekday. They have a tiny parking lot in the back with valet service on Friday and Saturday nights.

Yelp
I had heard about this place a few years ago and had been wanting to try it. Last night (3/8/24) I finally did. It has a cute literature motif and the drinks are named after authors or literary things. Inkwell Tavern was created to celebrate writers. It's an upscale gastropub specializing in craft cocktails, craft beer, a rotating wine selection, and a chef driven menu. An homage. Burbank has a deep rich history in the world of TV and film production and they truly created a place where local writer, actor, production friends could sit and have a drink and food after a long day on set. It is not uncommon to see writers sitting with a laptop and working on the next great feature or series. My friend and I got a few drinks and shared the Beef Tallow Waffle Fries (Fennel-garlic roast pork, garlic aioli, chimichurri). As I do not eat red meat, I had some of the fries and they were wonderful!. To drink, I asked for them to surprise me with something sweet and while I do not know what they called it, it was tropical and perfect. My friend got a couple Mules and a Collins. I will definitively be back as I want to try more of the food and drinks. Parking tip: *Park a few blocks away for easy parking and the walk is not bad at all.

Evy N.

Yelp
Food and service were both great! Hidden gem in Burbank off the beaten path. I appreciate the writers theme. Seems to be more of a bar, but we were quite satisfied with our food. Will be back!

Yelp
I absolutely love the neighborhood bar vibe at this place! This is a great small bar to drop into just outside of downtown Burbank. This bar is next to a Mexican restaurant on the corner and across the street from Trader Joe. I Experienced this bar for my very first time last Saturday night and it was a happening place at 8pm! All ages were enjoying themselves at this place! You can curl up to the bar or grab a booth if you are with a group! Not only does this place have great cocktails! They also have good food! I tried their hamburger with their special sauce. No ketchup was needed said the staff: and he was right! They even have veggie burgers! They also have cheese/meat boards for sharing! Great to go to a bar with quality food! The service was great! There were at least three bartenders that all took good care of their customers! Plus great dining area staff! I appreciate the attentive staff! As for price: totally fair prices! Cocktails were 12-15 dollars. They also have happy hour where you can get a slight discount on drinks and food! I look forward to coming back!

Yelp
This place is incredible! We came here on the way to the Burbank airport and I highly recommend it, especially if you're flying in or out of the airport as it's 10 mins away. Every food dish and cocktail we got were amazing. The baked Brie is my favorite. We also got the kale salad and the heirloom tomato burrata and they were also very good. You have to order at the bar and then they deliver it to your table but the service was fast and friendly. I loved the vibe of the place it was super cozy old fashioned looking place minus the huge tvs. I got the tequila cocktail and the vodka cocktail and they were both great as well. My friend ordered the cocktail with mezcal which I am not normally a fan of but it was also delicious and not too overpowering smokey like mezcal sometimes can be.

Meena N.

Yelp
We had gone to harbor freight close by and thought we'd stop by for a quick bite to eat. Server was really nice. It's a tad bit loud instead. We got the Burrata salad - yummy. Twice fried wings.- pretty good. Vegan monkey bread - loved it. We got two cocktails ( names I don't remember) but they were both very good Would come back if I was in the area again.

Yelp
Service should get 10 stars. Servers and bartender were so friendly and pleasant. It' seems like a local watering hole with a strong literary vibe which I really appreciated. The decor was so cool and worth taking a few minutes to browse through. They have a fun cocktail list with reasonable prices. I didn't love the masala chicken sandwich but the fries and the chili were great. Something about the textures of the sandwich threw me off a bit but that's just a personal thing. The salads also looked amazing and I'd like to try one of those next time

Yelp
I ended up passing by this place while I was looking for it as it's tucked in between other stores on a busy street. I only saw a couple of parking spots behind the building, and I mean maybe 2 or 3 spots which were all taken. Street parking is your best bet but there is a little walking involved. The ambiance is very relaxed and the place itself looked pretty clean, I liked the large open window in the front of the bar near our table. The table ordered various plates (charcuterie board, burgers, wings) it looked like everyone was pretty satisfied with their food and happy hour drinks. I wouldn't recommend their Bloody Mary, but I'd definitely come back again to try some of their cocktails and to order some food next time. On the way out it looked like they were setting up for some karaoke, nice!

Yelp
Ice in cocktails tastes funny like there's something foreign in their ice machine, fine ok. Were it not for that their drinks would be exceptional. We had lamb chops and a double smash burger. Again the escarole on the polenta that came with the lamb chops had a funny taste. Lovely restaurant/bar aesthetic, we thought, ok we will come back BUT then the baked Brie came and the bread was stale. I requested fresh bread (instead of the fried bread we got). She said it's all pre fried daily. She brought out more fried stale bread. Details are missed giving funky ice, funky escarole and stale bread to what otherwise could be a great experience and an attendant that doesn't understand the bread has gone stale.

Yelp
This space has been through so many iterations over the years. I like the new decor and the cocktail menu is on point. Good food and friendly people too! It's a great place to stop for a drink after work or on a lazy afternoon.

Yelp
I went to Inkwell Tavern with a group for a friend's birthday. They reserved a large table for us and sat us immediately upon arrival. The food and service was fantastic! Chip the manager made sure everything went smoothly and was a great host. I had the Smashburger and it was Juicy and Tasty. After the celebration was over everyone agreed that Inkwell Tavern was awesome. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Food A+ Ambiance A+ Cocktails A + Service A +++ I'll be back. 'Nuff said.... I'm out

Yelp
Genuinely enjoyed everything about the experience at Inkwell! The service: Beyond. The food: Delicious. The drinks: Not your regular ole drinks, much better. The inside? Dim, relaxing, intimate and yet a bit social. You can dress up a bit or not and not feel like you're out of place either way. It is obvious a lot of thought went into every detail of everything that is Inkwell Tavern. I cannot recommend this place enough and hope more people get to experience it. It's almost like a hidden gem in that area. Counting down the days until I go back and order their wings again. There is street parking as well as valet right behind the restaurant. As for seating, plenty inside and there's also some outdoor seating in the back.

Yelp
Really good food and drinks. Such a chill place to go on a date or with friends. The bartender made the best cosmo I ever had in LA. The food is very gourmet. The combination of ingredients is unconventional but it works! The staff is very laid back and pleasant. I'm definitely going back. I had the fries with carnitas and the wings. It's a must in Burbank.

Yelp
Awesome drinks, service and that baked Bree, dangggg. My favorite drink was turn the page. So good, I make it at home now. Their other drinks are very good too, but I always lose track of what my second best drink is. Parking is terrible, so get there early. They have valet in the back alley, which is convenient.
google avatar

Elijah O.

Yelp
Pretty darn good. The burger is lights out and the ambience of this plays just feels a lot nicer and breezy upon 2nd visit during the day (first time was at night). I'll come back for a trivia night or karaokee night or whatever and see if that can't bump it on up to 5 stars.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic food and quick service! The Inkwell fries with garlic and pork are to die for and all of their cocktails are really fun. Great community atmosphere! Will definitely be coming back for karaoke on Monday nights!
google avatar

Yelp
I met with a few co-workers at Inkwell Tavern for some mid-week drinks. Service was friendly and fast. I ordered my usual old fashioned and it was perfect. I would also like to note how beautifully decorated the bathroom is! I'll be coming back on my next trip to LA.

Anne R.

Yelp
Popped in for their happy hour this evening and were warmly welcomed by both bartenders. Drinks were great, as were our order of fries. We will most definitely be back!

Yelp
We always love coming here and tonight we met two new bartenders Gabe and Cameron we've never met them on Sundays to us they're new lol thank you both for making our night extra special you gotta come here if you're in the area

Yelp
Truly, this place is a gem. I reserved a table for eight to take out my team for happy hour and we had a fantastic evening. Even before the day of, email correspondence with the owner was super easy. They got back to my inquiry about reserving a table very fast, and ensured not only would our table be reserved, but they'd provide plates/serving utensils for a cake I was bringing. We were a bit late for our reservation but that wasn't a problem. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and everyone had at least 2-3 rounds of drinks. The atmosphere was lively but not overcrowded or too loud. The space itself is super cozy and nicely decorated. I'd say if you have more than eight people in your party, it might be hard to find a table arrangement that would fit everyone. That being said, the space feels like a perfect spot for a large-ish private party. My favorite app was probably the brie, but the brussels sprout salad was also very tasty. We chatted, laughed, had a fantastic time. I appreciated that the staff were very attentive but never overbearing or intrusive. We ended up staying over four and a half hours and the manager was extremely gracious even though we hung out an hour past the last drink order. When it came time for me to close out, I was honestly shocked. Eight people, 2-3 rounds of drinks for almost everyone, 6+ appetizers, and our bill was a little over $200. This is a fantastic happy hour and a great place in general. High recommend!

Yelp
Got there right after they open I think it was 4:00? The place wasn't too busy ordered a couple items thank goodness we saw the pictures for the waffle fries with pork on top they were freaking amazing you must get these. The drinks are good and decently priced. The place reminded me of an old British pub, with books on the wall and dark wood throughout. Parking seemed a little tight although I walk there and my friend parked across the street. I will go back good stuff.

Candice A.

Yelp
The food was awesome. Had a burger and waffle fries cooked in tallow. Delish! Cocktails were perfect. Had the Go Wilde cocktail which was super refreshing. But I have to say the staff was absolutely delightful. Great atmosphere. I will come back.

Yelp
My husband and I passed this place so many times and finally got the chance to try it about 2 months ago. We shared the Roasted Brie & Inkwell Smash. Both were amazing! It was early-ish on a Saturday evening so it wasn't too busy. We came back for Sunday Brunch a few weeks later and tried the Nova Lox/Burrata Toast, Beef Tallow Hash Brown Waffle, & Pink Starburst (I wound up ordering 2 of these just for myself!). Once again the food and drinks were outstanding and we love the old-school vibe. This is our new favorite local spot. Minor con: I did notice a sewage smell in the bathroom. I used to work in an office down the street that had the same problem. Not sure if there's anything they can do about it but we will be returning nonetheless.

Yelp
I'm President of the Burbank International Film Festival, and we hosted one of our after-parties at Inkwell Tavern last year. The reviews from the Film Festival guests were outstanding. If you're in need of a cozy spot to unwind, look no further than the Inkwell Tavern. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance is both inviting and relaxed, making it the perfect place to mingle with friends, family, a date or simply to enjoy a quiet moment alone watching sports on their TVs above the bar. The menu boasts a delightful array of dishes, each crafted with care and attention to detail. Whether you're craving classic comfort food or looking to tantalize your taste buds with something new, the Inkwell Tavern has something for everyone. Don't miss their signature cocktails - they're a true highlight! What truly sets the Inkwell Tavern apart is its commitment to exceptional service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. Their genuine passion for hospitality shines through in every interaction, making for an unforgettable dining experience. If you find yourself in Burbank for the Film Festival, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to the Inkwell Tavern. You'll be treated to delicious food, delightful drinks, and the kind of hospitality that leaves a lasting impression. Five stars all around!

Yelp
An Unforgettable Burger Experience! I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant, and it's safe to say that I'm still in awe of the experience. Their burgers were simply amazing! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection (medium)- each bite was a burst of happiness packed with pickles and cheese. I mean, it couldn't have been any tastier. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing meal. It was loud in there but not too loud. We could still hold a conversation without yelling. We sat and watched the Dodgers WIN while knocking back a few drinks (I recommend the INKWELL). The literary decor is quirky but cute adding uniqueness to the cozy atmosphere... it's so Burbank. Truly an ideal spot to meet up and unwind with friends or co-workers after work. It's a place where you can truly enjoy your meal and soak in the pleasant surroundings. However, what really added to our overall experience was the staff. From the moment I walked in, they greeted me with genuine smiles, and their attentive service throughout the meal was exceptional. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer suggestions, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable. The head chef introduced himself to everyone which made my experience EVEN MORE BETTER ;). Overall, this restaurant is a hidden gem that shouldn't be missed.

Yelp
I've really enjoyed this little tavern. I highly recommend it! Staff is super friendly. Food is Hardy and drinks are good.

Yelp
Back at it again! Karaoke on a night be fore a holiday works! So much talent and such a wide variety of songs performed! I decided to celebrate a good friend and his birthday with some delicious food and drinks, along with great service. Frank and Eric were extremely patient with our indecisiveness because of all the options. Spicy Mexico City Blues - fancy Spicy Margarita Tart bitters and added spice gives slow tasteful burn. Round 2 was an OG spicy Margarita which was equally delicious Turn the page (friend's drink) Sweet ginger! I'm not a fan of ginger, but he loved the drink. The crown of the night goes to the Beef Tallow Waffle Fries - which can be ordered as "BTWF" Crispy and perfectly seasoned waffle fries topped with fennel-garlic roasted pork with a delectable chimichurri and garlic aioli. It stuns you as it's presented in a mini cast iron, with all the crispy pork smells. The dish did need a small addition, two perfect crostini to soak up the juicy goodness. Another fun night. See you soon Thanks Chef! Thanks Frank & Eric!!

Yelp
I don't even know where to begin!!! I LOVE everything about this spot. It's so close to home and it's just such a wonderful vibe. The energy is fantastic, the staff is kind! FRANK is absolutely amazing!! He is the reason why I come back so often! As well as the owner Aaron! Such a good guy with great intentions! Haven't had the food yet, I only go for the drinks but I literally enjoy coming here so much! Trivia night/ Tequila night on Tuesday and then some! Definitely a place to check out. Full disclosure: they get packed FAST, however they are very attentive! Please enjoy
google avatar

Yelp
Had me a FIRE Whiskey Sour crafted by my PHENOMENAL bartender, Erik - A great guy & better friend that I'll be sure to request on my next visit. I'm a local and this spot is the perfect vibe if you're looking for a casual convo spot with a close friend, or a gathering to have a great time. The place feels "cozy" (if that's a word you can describe a bar in) and the service was absolutely exceptional! I'll be back next time to try their Taco Trivia Night
google avatar

Yelp
What an awesome neighborhood gem. I came here last Saturday night to grab drinks with my mom and aunt and we had a wonderful time. The bar is super cozy and well-decorated. We ordered an old-fashioned, mai tai, and cosmo. All of the drinks were delicious and presented beautifully. This bar had craft cocktails without charging an arm and a leg which I loved. The staff was super friendly and checked in on us often. I'd love to come back, especially to check out their Tuesday night trivia!
google avatar

Shay B.

Yelp
Went on a Wednesday, good vibes. The staff was a little presumptuous, but I would still go back. Beer and food was really good.

Ron S.

Yelp
Love love love this place! Great atmosphere. Amazing food and cocktails. And an attentive and friendly staff. Karaoke on Monday nights with KJ Dan is the best in town, and nothing beats Nerdology pub trivia on Tuesday nights. I mean what bar writes their own multimedia trivia show EVERY WEEK? Inkwell is my absolute favorite place to chill on my own, party with friends, or make new ones.
google avatar

Steph K.

Yelp
I ate there with a friend for the first time last night. The Smash Burger was beyond great. And the fries were thick, crispy on the outside and perfectly potato-y on the inside. The ambiance is great (I love the framed pics in the bathrooms)- it's like an americanized British pub. The service was also wonderful- the bartenders were quick with our drinks & always had a smile on their faces. I'll definitely be coming back- I can't wait to try brunch!
google avatar

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend LOVEEEEEE THIS PLACE!!! So I'm writing a second review. The food is absolutely delicious!! Top 3 best places to eat in Burbank ! Every single thing on this menu is mouth watering!!!!!! The manager & owner are such a delight !! Thank you sooooo much for such hospitality & 100 star food!
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely and up and coming spot in Burbank! The atmosphere was so inviting and great for a group of friends! I love the small menu as all of the items truly seemed to be staples. The inside has ample seating for different sized parties. Highly recommend the beef tallow waffle fries and smash burger - absolutely tasty! The winds were also good! The crunch was perfect! My only feedback is they don't serve ranch! Definitely need to add to the menu for us ranch lovers! The drink menu is extensive and uniquely crafted! Highly recommend the de la cruz! Can't wait to go back and work my way through the menu!
google avatar

Nathan U.

Yelp
Strange how this is one of the only quality gastropubs in Burbank Used to be THE CHAINED RABBIT, but has only improved Atmosphere's still warm and chill. Many same bartenders who seem more supported now Food still delivers at a high standard Bartender recommended fire spiced fries and they may be the best thing I had! That perfect heat you crave! Kale salad was fine Chicken wings with salt & vinegar - I avoid wings, but these were impressive! Big, juicy, good seasoning, and not greasy at all. Excited to try more! This place is homey, quality, and staffed by people who care. The kind of neighborhood pub everyone wishes were local

Yelp
Gorgeous new Tavern in Burbank brings great vibes, great food and great drinks. Vibes: love the warm, elegant, writer-centric vibes of the place. Feels elegant without being stuffy. You can bring your friends here or you can go on a nice date here. Food: Soooooo excellent. The smash burger is one of the best burgers I've ever had. Also had a salad that was filling and delicious. They have choices from light, healthy food to loaded waffle fries. You can't go wrong. Drinks: delicious and well-made. They have the classics while also adding their own "originals" category. A great selection of cocktails! Love this place. I'm glad Burbank has this new addition.

Yelp
First of all, they have my favorite beer, Allagash White! Already a win. My husband and I came and had the fries with beef tallow and pork, the Brie with fig jam and crostinis, and the burgers. Was genuinely blown away by the flavor! The owner explained the tallow keeps the fries from becoming soggy but coats them with flavor. We love an educational experience! The smash burgers were "drive out of the way to come back" delicious. I'm not in Burbank often but I imagine we will be now Soft buns really just elevate the burger and the flavor was excellent. And their cheese was made in-house! My husband had the chocolate chip cookie and couldn't even talk to me as he eat it since it was so good. We'll be back!!!

Yelp
WE LOVE GABE! My parents were visiting me from Wisconsin and we came for karaoke! It was so much fun and Gabe is lovely. Thanks inkwell

Yelp
Tried Inkwell Tavern with my wife last night for the first time and we were both extremely pleased with our meal, the cocktails, and the service at this little neighborhood gem. There's a warm, welcoming ambiance to the place, which is full of photos and excerpts from famous literary figures. (I'll admit to being a sucker for that, since I'm a writer myself.) I also feel like the bar chairs were some of the most comfortable and spacious I've sat on in quite some time. Our bartender, George, was extremely helpful with whiskey recommendations, and my wife and I both fell in love with the Inkwell Spill, which is a close cousin of the classic Penicillin. We also tried their Whiskey Wednesday deal, which gets you 3x half oz pours of nearly any whiskey / bourbon / rye for $20. Great if you're trying to expand your drinking horizons, which I heartily encourage. Food-wise, the beef tallow fries and mac & cheese were the standouts. Will gladly order those again when we return in the not-so-distant future.

Yelp
What a fun place! I loved it! We went with a group of friends and every cocktail was delicious!! Food was great too. Get the brie you wont be disappointed and the fries we loved too!! Really nice staff. All of it gets a big thumbs up!!!

Yelp
What a lovely night at the new Ink Well Tavern. In historic Burbank (Our favorite little city in the bustle of LA) This brand new bar is everything you are looking for if you like a chill vibe, smart style and yummy classic drinks. The wine menu is HUGE and has some of the best wines available. The owner gave us a sample and we loved it so much we bought a bottle. We are still Covid aware so we enjoyed our drinks on the patio. I looooved the Old Fashioned and Manhattan. Plus live unplugged entertainment of all varieties. Even the bathrooms are themed with awesome authors and book references. This block has a lot of history when it comes to bars. Make a night of it! Get there early it fills up with some of the smartest and funniest folks around. It's the new go to pal party spot!
