"Comfort and bar food get a stylized edge at this rustic-meets-maximalism spot off the Square. There’s nary a beer on tap — it’s all cocktails. Drop in for brunch and try the Memphis French toast with banana, peanut butter, and bacon, or during lunch and dinner try one of the many flatbreads. The pimento cheese dip sandwich is also a must-try." - Courtney E. Smith

Excellent food, excellent service! Only reason this isn't getting 5 stars is that we needed a bit of salt on most things, the mac and cheese pasta was a bit overcooked and the breadcrumbs were stale instead of crunchy. The food was good though! Staff very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. Will definitely be back!

Stopped in to this cozy restaurant and WOW the food was amazing!!! Service with a smile and positive vibe the whole time we were there. The owner came by and checked on us too. A great place for dinner date or to visit with clients or business associates. The appetizers were amazing. The salmon if fabulous!!! Be sure and grab some cheesecake for dessert too. We’ll be back again for sure.

We wanted to like this place more than we did. We were first introduced to 940 during a Discover Denton tour. We decided to come here before a show and made a reservation ahead of time. The food was tasty and the cocktails were tasty, but the service was not good at all. We were seated in a booth away from the bar and main seating area, so maybe that’s why it seemed like we were forgotten more than once. Our appetizer came out in an acceptable amount of time, but we waited over 30 minutes for our entrees. And my husband had to flag our server down to ask for the check. Maybe he was having a bad day? The food was delicious and that saved the 70 minute dining experience, but if you go here…try to avoid being seated at the dark booths in the back. Also, if you are a beer drinker, you will spend $8 on a 12 ounce can!

Rolled in here for Sunday brunch. The place was sold out with reservations but since we arrived early we got seated at a good table. Our wait person Madeline was spot on and got us set up with their pepper infused vodka bloody Mary. To my surprise it was one of the best bloodies I've ever had. So I got another. I ordered the brunch skillet with eggs, potatoes, grilled chicken, onions, peppers, and avocados. My girlfriend ordered the Reuben sandwich with mustard on the side. It also came with french fries. The service was perfect, Madeline was perfect. The atmosphere was very nice. The place is in what seems to be a historic building. Very cool. I give the food a 4.5 because we were there early and the French fries, although still good, were not very hot and maybe sitting around a while. We were charged 50 cents for mustard on the side with the sandwich. Seems a little Nickel and dimey. The pricing was reasonable though, not cheap, but not over priced. Overall very good and we will be back and DO recommend this place.

Food and service is great. The appetizer was amazing, It was the crushed avocado toast. It had was some avocado, garlic pesto, toasted pecans, balsamic reduction and fried onions. I got a sunset photo while I was there.

940s Staff was friendly and atmosphere was nicely modern. Each of our dishes came out a little slow for being sandwich style dish. Fries were pretty good. Enjoyed our selections. Saturday from open to 3pm only serves brunch menu. You will not be able to get the entrees.

Google
Amazing happy hour with fantastic cocktails and food specials. The music was good and our server was friendly. I went on a cold Tuesday so it wasn’t busy but I think normally you should make reservations. 4 star because the food could’ve been better but they were worth the happy hour prices.

Google
Really good menu, you can customize, I got tomato basil soup instead of fries, so glad I did, better than La Madeline's, a little chunkier, in a good way, good au jus sandwich, good bread, excellent cheese. Yummy.

Yelp
My mom and I love having lunch here! Great atmosphere and the food is always good. Also staff is awesome. Allison is our favorite!!

Yelp
Checked out 940 last night to celebrate a friend's wedding and had an amazing time. We were able to reserve a table and get sat once most of our party was there. Our server, Sydney, was so wonderful and welcoming! I checked out the drink and food menus and decided on the tenderloin grilled cheese, which came with a mix of American and Fontina cheese, sunny side egg, onion jam, and tenderloin. I asked Sydney about scrambling the egg instead of having it sunny side and she recommended that I get it cooked hard because it tastes great with the sandwich. She said she would check with the kitchen, and they were able to make the adjustment. For my drink, she recommended the berry basil mule. I was thinking it was going to be sweet, but combined with the basil, it had just a hint of sweetness that made it easy to sip and enjoy! Our food came out quickly, and we all ordered something different, so we got to try each other's entrees. My grilled cheese was not super heavy, and the combination of the American and Fontina cheeses was perfect. I love that I was able to swap out the fries for green beans. The green beans were amazing--garlic with a hint of sweetness. Everything was so good! The vibe was good as well. My friends and I were able to laugh and have a good time. The staff enjoyed our joy, and they made our experience delightful! I can't wait to come back and I would highly recommend coming here!

Yelp
First time here did not live up to the hype. The ambiance was nice; basic but clean and organized. I enjoyed the music. I'm not sure if it's the normal choice, but this night it was 90's Rap. We were pestered with gnats the entire meal. The cocktails and appetizer were the best part of the meal. I ordered The Sun; if you like mezcal and tajin, this drink is for you. The lemon drop martini was very tart, but the sugar rim helped balance it out. The tenderloin Mac and cheese made it worth coming back for. It came out quickly. The Mac and cheese had great flavor and just the right amount of creaminess; it wasn't too runny or too dry. The tenderloin was extremely tender, though it tasted more like a pot roast. Still delicious! The fried onions on top added a satisfying texture difference and tied in all the flavors. The serving was enough of a meal in it of itself, so it's a great dish to share with others. My mom and I ordered two meals to split; the shrimp carbonara and the cuban (a special for the day). My mom told our server, Brooklyn, we were sharing both food items. She did not state to bring them out one at a time. The bread of the cuban tasted stale and was rather tough to chew. The pulled pork didn't have much flavor. Overall the sandwich was very dry. The fries were decent; nothing exceptional about them. Brooklyn never checked on us after dropping the food off. About 20 minutes after finishing the sandwich, Brooklyn finally came to our table. It was at this time I asked if the shrimp carbonara was still coming out. She gave a confused look at the table and stated she would check on it. After a few minutes she returned and stated it would be coming out shortly; no explanation as to why this occurred was given. The table next to us (a two top) received both of their dinners and finished them before we received our second meals. Another 10-15 minutes passed before the shrimp carbonara was delivered. My mom asked Brooklyn why it took so long for the second dish to come out. Brooklyn stated the kitchen was backed up with a large table. This would mean that the kitchen sent out half a ticket before completing the order, with an entire 20-30 minutes between each dish being served. What is more likely, and what I believed happened, is that Brooklyn forgot to ring in the pasta dish for whatever reason. She only rang in the appetizer and the sandwich, and when the kitchen completed that order it was sent out. After being called out on her mistake, she then tried to rush the order, but the big tables order slowed things down. It simply does not make sense for a kitchen to send out half the order before completing the ticket. Very disappointed that Brooklyn had the chance to be honest and explain her mistake, but decided to lie instead. Whether it was directly her mistake or not (which I 100% believe it was), it took at least 30 minutes for our second entree to be delivered- this warrants some kind of apology or comp in my opinion. The shrimp carbonara was nearly inedible. There was way too much pepper and salt. The shrimp was the only good part of the dish. The bacon bits were much too big. We didn't finish it. Brooklyn also did not check on us after dropping the food off. If you come here, limit yourself to the tenderloin mac and cheese. I will not be rushing to try this establishment again anytime soon, and I will certainly avoid Brooklyn as a server.

Yelp
Started out great. Our server was Brooke. Nice decor/vibe. Lemon drop martini was perfect. Small plate tenderloin and Mac and cheese was delicious. Fried onions added some nice flavor and texture. Honestly the plate was a meal in itself. Meat more like pot roast but fork tender. Seasoned well. Mac and cheese creamy. Then it went down from there. We ordered two entrees. A Cuban sandwich and shrimp carbonara. I mentioned we were going to share both but said nothing about wanting them brought out separate. The Cuban was dry. Bread a bit hard. Would not order again. A good 20min passed and the carbonara had not come out yet. We had to ask for it and she said let me go check. Took another 20min to come out. I think she forgot to put the order in for it. I'm sure of it. When she finally brought it out I asked why did it take so long, giving her a chance to acknowledge she forgot. She said they were backed up. What bothered me was not the mistake but the lying. There's no way one entree comes out more than 30min later with no apology or update during the interim. That part really brought my score down. Couldn't even finish the carbonara. More oily than creamy. Way too much pepper. Bacon cut in large pieces. A bit salty. Definitely would not order that dish again. Hopefully you have a better experience.

Yelp
This was a great find. We were here as a group for a work conference. I love that this place is quite and beautifully decorated. I ordered the pesto pizza and it was the best I think I've ever had. The service was really great considering we had a large group. It took a moment for us to get our alcoholic beverages, But they only had a few bartenders and the place was really busy. In all I would definitely go back to this restaurant if I'm ever in that area.

Shauna P.

Yelp
We've been to 940's a couple times now and have really enjoyed it. It gets busy so make reservations if you can. The atmosphere can be a little loud but that's to be expected in an open concept space. The servers were helpful and came by to check on us frequently. The food was good. We tried the shaved Brussels sprout salad with goat cheese and apples. The poutine and fries had a tasty sauce that was somewhere between an au jus and a gravy. The pimento cheese dip was ok. I love a good caprese salad so we definitely had to try the caprese skewers and they did not disappoint. Our favorite dish by far was the mushroom ravioli, it was so creamy and earthy. It paired well with our bottle of red wine. We will definitely be back!

Kalynne M.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place, will definitely be visiting again! It's industrial chic inside, think cement and brick dressed up with leather booths and warm wood. The bar is beautiful! My friends and I started with cocktail flights, all delicious (the Kitty Coley and Old Fashioned were my favorite). We split Mac n cheese, a tenderloin grilled cheese and the shakshuka. The food was great (portions were a bit small but big flavor). Tito took care of us, he was very attentive and friendly. The manager also checked in, all around great service!

Yelp
People who are older may remember when the previous business was actually a bar/coffee shop owned by an older immigrant family, who called the place The Brickhouse Coffee Shop, which served beer and sold finger food to accompany it: Live Music flowed, with rock and roll bands playing most week nights. It's a time of change in our downtown Denton area and new businesses are emerging in the square, and further down the street on Hickory St. at Industrial St., where the iconic Dan's Silverleaf anchors an emerging strip center, where a taco shop at the far southern end. As far as the actual restaurant 940's goes, I have already met the new owners, and wish them success in their future. Have a great Easter weekend. Cheers, Mark F.

Yelp
The ambiance was moderate like you're still able to hear other people easily at a comfortable volume. Service was 10/10!! Our server was very quick and sweet. The food was delicious!! Especially during the breakfast/brunch time. I will recommend the 940 Burger.I do recommend making a reservation a head of time. It can be quite busy on the weekends and holidays. Music is a mix of indie rock, alternative, and electronic during the opening to 5.

Yelp
First time to Denton and I'm so glad I chose to have brunch here! Our server, Taylor, was INCREDIBLE- she had the best recommendations and had the best personality. I had the fried chicken biscuit sliders - SO GOOD!!! The biscuits are homemade and you can tell how fresh they are. I also learned from Taylor that they make their own drink syrups in house - I requested some vanilla for my Diet Coke and it was absolutely divine!! If you're in town, stop in! Prices are great, food is better, and service is immaculate!

Yelp
I did a little trek for a birthday brunch to Denton. It's really a lovely place to get out, walk around and explore the square. The birthday queen picked this place for lunch and it didn't disappoint. The hard part was the options. They all sounded so good it was hard to pick. I finally narrowed it down to my Bloody Mary, Scott's Banana Bread and Beer Tenderloin Grilled Cheese. All I can say is wow! It was so big I had to ask for a knife to cut it. It also had an over easy egg on it so enter messy good sandwich. I prepared my top with the hefty napkin and went to town. This combo was stellar. I got fries but realized I liked the home fried potatoes more as we snacked to wait for entrees. Scott's Banana Bread was warm and satisfying. You really want the mini loaf to yourself. If you want to be nice share with a friend. The staff were so friendly and eager to make our experience upbeat and happy. Mission accomplished!

Ashlee A.

Yelp
Food and service was great! They have plenty of options for brunch and their menu isn't overwhelming. Looking forward to another visit

Courtney L.

Yelp
WOW! I absolutely enjoyed this place. I had a couple of friends come to town and wanted to show them around Denton. Decided to come here for some brunch and it did not disappoint. Our waitress, Taylor, was incredible! She was so personable and fun and really made our brunch quite the experience. The vibe is very Denton and love that it's just right off the Square. Will definitely be back!!

Yelp
New American with a HEAVY emphasis on Southern cuisine. I'd call it a straight up Southern restaurant, but there's a smattering of items like eggplant fries, poutine, or mushroom ravioli. Service wise, the servers and bartenders were frantically taking care of the bar patrons. So much so that I didn't get a menu or water till 10 minutes after my arrival at the bar. I don't hold any animosity, but I have to say it's not tip top. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with green beans, as well as a half order of the house salad. Their fried chicken cutlets is huge! It spills over sides and has a decent crunch to it. There's jalapeno listed in the aioli, but it's more of a tickle than anything spicy. Overall, a satisfying sandwich. The green beans were surprisingly good! Well salted with a good amount of butter, and what felt like a touch of soy sauce? The house salad was also great. Well dressed, an even portion of ingredients that had me wanting more rather than struggling through.

Diana D.

Yelp
Great place on the square! Their seasonal drinks were amazing! Definitely try their pumpkin and rum cocktail. Their burger was really good, just a little dry. I also had their risotto and honestly...it was kind of a disappointment, I'm pretty sure it was made with quinoa, so not a traditional risotto. Staff is polite and prompt, they were very accommodating with some of the changes we wanted to make. I didn't go for brunch but I've heard their brunches are amazing. Very rustic, industrial place...they mostly have booths and they have some really neat older pictures of the square. It is slightly pricy but nothing outrageous.

Yelp
Came here for me and my wife's anniversary and made reservations just to sit down and order the filet. Guess what no filet they "ran out" it's the entire reason I chose to come here and the only thing I wanted to eat. Wont be coming back to a place where I'm not sure if they have food. Ridiculous. Unprofessional. We ordered the Gouda Mac and cheese start and the Mac was extremely over cooked literally mushy. I took a chance on the carbonara and I shouldn't of it had no flavor the worst carbonara I've ever had. My wife got a cheeseburger and they over cooked the patty as well it was hard as a rock. The cocktail my wife got she said was good. My advice is this place shouldn't serve food and become just a bar.

Alice B.

Yelp
940's is new to us. The perfect mix of historic and classy modern. We tried the happy hour eggplant fries. A little sweet a little spicy, I loved them. My husband preferred the poutine. It was a great salty mix of fries, cheese, and gravy. I had the 940's sangria well-cocktail. I also tried the old old fashioned. Had a healthy does of rye whiskey just like I like it! Yummy! Brooklyn was our server and she was awesome... sold us on the pumpkin cake dessert. We took it to go.

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
Great food. Service not so much. To be fair, there were 11 of us. Took forever to just get drinks. Four people left (one adult and three kids) because we had to get up early. One burger came out within 25 minutes. The rest of the food was super slow coming out. The mac and cheese came out cold. I ordered shredded brussel sprout salad. It was supposed to come with honey lemon dressing but they were out. Had to have ranch instead. That wasn't cool. Came time to pay and I swear it took another 35 minutes to get our credit cards back. I won't be back.

KD J.

Yelp
We decided to eat at this brunch spot due to reviews left by others. The reviews didn't disappoint and neither did the food. We like eating at different places and trendy spots. The ambiance was fantastic;small, cozy and intimate. Our waitress Jo-Jo was very attentive and friendly. She gave us great recommendations on the food and the drinks. My wife had an Egg Nog drink that she absolutely loved. I stuck to the Mimosa. Everything Jo-Jo recommended was on point. The pictures below is what we ordered. Both my wife and I cleaned our plates. I would highly recommend this establishment for any kind of date or just a chill place to hang with friends on Saturday-Sunday afternoons.

Skyler P.

Yelp
The food was great, the server was super attentive. She recommended banana bread, and our main dish. Made jokes throughout the experience and acted like a friend! Her name was Taylor.

Pamela B.

Yelp
We wanted to try a brunch place we had never visited, so we opted for this quaint restaurant on the square in Denton. The ambiance is lively and the decor is charming. They also have a full bar. We had the ham benedict and the brunch burger, both of which were delicious. Brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30am-3pm. Highly recommend!

Emily M.

Yelp
This is a very cool restaurant, it has great vibes. I would definitely recommend a reservation if you're going at a peak time I came with a few friends on a weekday afternoon and I'm pretty sure there was only one server/bartender taking care of the whole place. So it took a while to get drinks, order, etc. My friends all enjoyed their drinks - they have a mix of tapped cocktails which you can get in a flight and also a full list of other drink specials. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and it has a nice flavor. It wasn't anything too special in comparison to other chicken sandwiches but it was good. Overall an enjoyable meal

Jaimi H.

Yelp
Over an hour to be served. Food was not as described. Kept making excuses for why the delay. I sent mine back, husband didn't finish. Never again.

Cj M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Extensive drink menu. Generous Aperol spritzer but Rum and coke stingy. Tiny glass. Flavorful mushroom ravioli, salmon was a little dry when I ordered it medium, but the freshness and flavor was yummy. Be prepared for the loudness but sitting in a booth was comfortable and tempered all the loud chatter. We were never rushed and our waitress Audrey was very attentive.

Kathy M.

Yelp
In town for a tournament and found this restaurant on Yelp. It had a good looking menu so we got a reservation. Have to admit we were all disappointed. The food gets 4 stars but the service was a 2 bringing it down to a 3. The food is decent and the drinks were good. Give it a try, hopefully you will get better service.

Susi M.

Yelp
We tried this place for the first time on June 11...our 41st anniversary! I was just searching online looking for a nice place to go celebrate. I easily got an early reservation. It was a Tuesday after all...We were seated immediately when we got there and our friendly waiter brought us water and took our drink orders. Hubby and I both tried something new and we were both pleased. I tried a flight of four of the on tap cocktail recipes and two of the four I chose were winners! While waiting for our appetizer our waiter told us that a booth had opened up and moved us to where we could be cozy. We had the Gouda mac & cheese as an appetizer, very good! A tad spicy, but still very good. Then I had the salmon with risotto and asparagus... Excellent!!! Hubby had the shrimp carbonara and said it was very good as well! Then to top it all off, he brought us a complimentary crème brûlée which was outstanding as well!! Overall, a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back!! I'm sorry I can't remember our server's name, but he had very nice, longish curly black hair :)

Larry M.

Yelp
Went there on a Saturday evening and we had the Elote appetizer and flatbreads. Everything was great and the cocktails rocked! We will be returning, especially for the avocado and bean flatbread.

Carolyn M.

Yelp
Very good Interesting drinks Big selection Look forward to returning Nice and fun atmosphere and venue Recommend

Deon S.

Yelp
Nice brunch outing!! Took the family for a nice brunch. Nice menu! Overall all the food was decent. Drink were great! They did have a gnat issue! Thus the 3star rating.

Nicole M.

Yelp
I'm updating again because things have really improved at 940s, and I want to give credit where credits is due! The service is great, and the food is top notch again! We are back!!

Lavenia W.

Yelp
Started with mimosa carafe and Bloody Mary! Food was fine and I was very appreciative that when my Shakshuka came out with goat cheese crumble that she allowed me to send back. I can't do goat cheese and it wasn't on the menu description. Sunny side up eggs cooked correctly. Our waitress was very nice. Love the setting but we had gnat galore hovering. Not sure if due to sitting near kitchen but it was little overwhelming. Not just one but I counted six of them over our food and cocktails.

D J.

Yelp
Food was pretty good. The menu seem limited on items. I order the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich and Duke of Gordon cocktail. The chicken sandwich had a little spice and was flavorful. Our waitress was very attentive and great service. I would definitely go back just to try the cocktails on tap!!

Melissa K.

Yelp
Food and service are good. Fresh twist on their drinks. Only thing is that I wish they would change up some of the menu options.

Kimberlie D.

Yelp
Their pistachio martini is the best ever! Wish it was available year round. Also recommend the smoked Gouda Mac & cheese appetizer.

Christopher J.

Yelp
The wait was very reasonable but recommend a reservation for a booth. The new tabletops are well situated and now accommodate larger groups with a removable leaf - very handy! Be sure to take in the artwork in the front. The bar is also very cordial with comfortable seats with padded backs. I enjoyed the tenderloin grilled cheese and tomato basil soup. There is also an extensive cocktail list to enjoy. The crème brûlée is excellent and is served with your wait staff torching the top at your table - freshly caramelized! Ask for Breezy as she was outstanding for my party. Great to have fantastic service especially in 2023. Highly recommended.

Adam N.

Yelp
This place has a lot of great people working here, which of course means a great restaurant, since a lot of people are pouring their energy into it! Shoutout to the kitchen and crew for their hard work and dedication. Especially Noelle and Lyra!

Bianca C.

Yelp
Great food! Service was great! It was super chill the day we went. Relaxed ambiance. Wish they had more variety on their menu. All in all we will definitely come back!

Dwayne W.

Yelp
We have been here 6 times and LOVED everything about it. Previously we sat either outside or up by the door. Recently we went with the in-laws and ended up sitting right across from the kitchen. NEVER AGAIN. The music blaring from the kitchen absolutely conflicted with the nice peaceful music in the dining room. Was NOT an enjoyable experience. I had raved about the mushroom ravioli. We arrived on Tuesday evening and three out of the four people ordered the ravioli. Even though we were there early and the only people there we were informed that they had run out of the ravioli. HOW. The replacement food is never as good as the dish you are expecting to eat. Hesitant to go back.

John R.

Yelp
This place is the perfect combination of romantic dining, fine dining, and a quaint, atmosphere. The food and drinks are to die for. Tito at the bar is amazing. Derek, the manager's, not so bad himself. Don't take my word for it, come check it out! You won't regret it!!! Make a reservation.

Heath M.

Yelp
The brisket grilled cheese was good , the chicken sandwich was good but the dressing was avocado jalapeño aioli (avocado mayo) and taste bland . Seems like they are trying to take what is an average menu and dress it up to appear gourmet quality . There is no desire to return.

Hima P.

Yelp
we met my nephew who goes to UNT for lunch here. I think its pretty good for a restaurant in a college town!! the menu was diverse and they had some adventurous cocktails and menu items. Truthfully it was lacking in regards to presentation or execution but I love that they're willing to make the attempt. This didn't exist in Denton when I lived there 20 some odd years ago so Its refreshing to see higher end food being offered. I got the blue cheese burger If I remember correctly and it was good enough. the sides were a little cold and came out kind of slowly in an almost empty restaurant but I know that staffing is low across the country so I rarely give bad marks for timeliness of service, just something to note if you're trying to get in and out.

Chris D.

Yelp
This place was amazing and the food was exceptional! The service was beyond excellent! Our server, Breezy, was so nice and helpful. The atmosphere was quant and trendy.

Elva B.

Yelp
We had lunch here and everything was excellent! Food drinks and service . I highly recommend it and I plan on coming back . Thank Brian for your service you get a 5 star ! 940 Burger

Christy G.

Yelp
940's is a beautiful restaurant and bar in the heart of downtown Denton. The staff and service are amazing! I've been very impressed with staff when visiting. They are friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The menu is pretty limited. Unfortunately, the food I've tried has just been ok, not great. The banana bread was delicious, but the meals I've tried were greasy and average in taste. I would definitely go back for drinks & banana bread.

Melissa S.

Yelp
This place is a little hidden gem just off Denton Square! The atmosphere and food is definitely 5 star!! Bartender Allison is amazing! Always greeted with a smile and a rundown of daily drink specials!!! Don't miss out on this place! A favorite for me hands down

Eden O.

Yelp
They took forever to make the food, fries are hard. The atmosphere is sucky it the music was sad, workers seemed depressed.

Asiah C.

Yelp
940's is one of my favorite places to go in Denton. Grab a coworker, partner, or friend and check it out (definitely with a reservation)! The restaurant has a classic charm to it and you can get a picture with the classic Denton, Texas sign! Getting the marg flight was a great introduction to the tap cocktails! I am in love with the Black Cherry Vodka Basil Mule and get it every time. Shared plates- the hummus and elote are pretty good. I forget that the short rib mac n cheese is supposed to be "shared", but it's my go to for myself! The flatbread is also great to share during happy hour, the steak I would prefer cut smaller or have more of because it's tasty! Meals- hands down the 940 burger, no blue cheese, and brussel sprout side (salad or roasted) is my favorite. For the brussel sprouts, the salad is great and refreshing if you like them. I'm not really a goat cheese gal, but it adds a nice touch! The roasted brussel sprouts is sautéed with bacon. If you order for pick-up, get them in their own container or it will be a greasy mess. The Denton Fried Chicken I need to try again. I wasn't overly impressed. The plate I had seemed more fat and breading than chicken. Usually everything is pretty good so I think it was an off night. The parmesqb garlic mashed potatoes were great! Got the brussels over green beans...can you tell I love them? Brunch- I'd get the Peach Bellini every time! The Fried Chicken Biscuits were pretty good. I had the eggs fried vs sunny. Ask for extra black pepper gravy and chipotle honey on the side. I personally never get the Gouda Mac without Short Rib because it's incredible together. The potatoes threw me off...there more like chips, but still good!

Yelp
I've been to this place twice, and both times were for someone's birthday. And both times I wasn't really that impressed. The decor is nice and trendy. The staff is friendly. The food is good. My main complaint: The gnats. They're flying and landing all over the place. Having to eat your dinner and have a conversation with friends while having to make sure you're swatting gnats away from your face, food, and drink is just not appealing at all. But now that's out of the way, I'll discuss the food. We've had the pimento cheese spread with tortilla chips both times. It's tasty. More smoky than pimento flavor, but I'll take pretty much any cheese spread. My SO had the Fried Chicken Sandwich the first visit and said while it was good, it was just terribly awkward to eat. This time he had the filet grilled cheese, which he very much enjoyed. He said the filet was very tender. First visit I had salmon salad. I did not eat much of that because the salmon tasted slightly off and the salad wasn't very appealing. This past visit I had their Classic Burger. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Fries for both of us were very good and crisp. Overall, food is decent but it's not a place I'll seek out merely because of the gnat situation.

Yelp
Great spot. Creative drink menu. Great service. And the food was very good and had a flair of innovation. We will be back!

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed this place. The service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious--we had the brussle salad, steak, and traditional burger. So. Yummy. We'll definitely come back!
