Yelp
Really immaculate experience at Estuary. I visited on V-day. I was in DC for work so eating solo and grabbed a first come first serve seat at the bar. The vibes are super sexy I cant lie, traditional tables and some sofa style seating with beautiful second (third?) floor views of DC I had a couple really nice drinks. Nothing I hadn't had before but still well executed. Food came out really quickly and was delicious. I only got a salad but it was really good and I would be excited to go have it everyday for lunch or something new for dinner.

Yelp
I was disappointed by this very beautiful restaurant during Restaurant Week and wanted to share my experience. I love a hotel restaurant and found this restaurant to be beautiful--although quite difficult to find within the Conrad Hotel. Service was very prompt and attentive, and the views are great. Sadly, I was very disappointed by the food. For $55 plus tax and tip, the meal was not nearly worth the price. The tuna appetizer was bland, and the thick-cut tuna did not seem to be high quality. The risotto portion was tiny, and the zucchini blossoms were quite limp. The cake had a nice bite but lacked richness and flavor. The rockfish was poorly cooked as well. For the amount of money we spent, we left hungry. I did like the pig ear appetizer! However, the bowl was very oily and reduced the crunch of the pig ears. I hope I have a better experience next time!

Yelp
An excellent upscale improvement on the classic "hotel restaurant". Estuary really brings it with excellent service, a gigantic hall landscape which somehow still feels calming and intimate, and the food is quite fantastic. The baked oysters were interesting to me but I personally don't think ikura/smoked roe should be eaten with hot food. The next dish blew me out of the water. The crispy pig ears in some kind of mint tamarind marinade with lettuce, onion, lime, and more mint to make a sort of lettuce wrap?? This would be a last meal for me. The scallops were then a solid choice. Maybe a little under seasoned but great sear. The coconut curry that it came with was interesting but not my favorite. Finally the smash burger is a misnomer. This is just a solidly juicy burger, great pickled, and great cheese. The fries were also excellent for hotel fries but I could do without the old bay seasoning. Overall, I'll be back. Small menu, great service, great ambiance. Well done Estuary!

Yelp
Estuary in DC offered a vibrant setting for a memorable date night, with its lively music and sultry atmosphere. Sipping on the THYME OF THE SEASON cocktail, a delicious concoction of Tomcat Barr Hill Gin, Williams Pear Brandy, lemon, and thyme, I found myself immersed in the energetic ambiance of the venue. I came for a nightcap with friends after a conference but would've stayed longer if I could have. The dim lighting, high ceilings and interesting art created a dynamic atmosphere that exuded sensuality, setting the stage for a great time. Despite the lively atmosphere, the panoramic views of the city provided a captivating backdrop, adding a touch of intimacy to the experience. Whether you're looking to spice up your date night or simply enjoy a night out with someone special, Estuary in DC offers a vibrant setting and delicious cocktails that are sure to impress. A little on the pricey side, but the views don't get better. Service was ok.

Yelp
Great service and overall vibe here. The food while mostly good is not the same elevated fare since Bryan and Michael Voltaggio parted ways with the restaurant. They don't have the same attention to detail. For example, Surryano ham in my wife's omlet was cold and was my toast at brunch.

Yelp
My husband took me here for my birthday and it was great! Didn't even feel like we were in DC. Beautiful view, great food, and amazing service. Definitely recommend especially for a memorable occasion.

Yelp
Classy and upscale spot with a nice view. They recommended the smash burger, I said yes, and had zero regrets. Two deliciously smashed beef patties on a sweet brioche roll, can you top that? Actually you can - add the Old Bay fries, the seasoning is like crack and I'm not even from Maryland! Prices are a little on the high side for DC standards and there can be a bit of wait during busy periods, but overall it's definitely a solid choice for the area.

Yelp
Dined here for breakfast as a perk for staying at the Conrad for the weekend. Every meal was amazing and delicious. The Maryland Crab Roll was definitely my favorite meal. The restaurant was beautiful, they had an open kitchen set up and floor to ceiling windows. Service was also excellent, the waiters were very attentive and checked to see if we needed anything additional. The food was definitely on the pricier side but because of some perks, I was able to get free meals. Would definitely visit again if I stay at the Conrad.

Yelp
It's Been a while and it's time for me to update my review. For someone who has lived in DC for decades, I've venture out to many brunch spots in DC, but always have venture back to estuary. Nothing compares! If you go on a Sunday ask for Mark, as your server you will not regret it. Sadly, he only does brunch on this day. I've been asking for Mark to add Saturday to the list because his service is top notch. Provides exceptional attention to detail. You will feel like a star. Everything on the breakfast and brunch menu is great. My go to is the main breakfast with crispy potatoes, scramble eggs, bacon with a croissant. The crossitants are freshly made and crispy. It's the closest, you will get to an authentic one similar to Paris. I travel to Europe 3x's a year, so I feel like an expert when it comes to croissants and bread (lol). You can't go wrong! One of the best brunch spots in DC. Pick a table closer to the kitchen for the ambiance and views of downtown and overlooking the shops at city center.

Yelp
Had brunch at Estuary today for an early (Saturday) Mother's Day brunch. Most of my party was a little over 30 minutes late but we were accommodated and seated shortly. The ambiance was pretty great, I liked the interior and view of the city. I admittedly was a little disappointed that the brunch menu we were given did not match the brunch menu online. They were not serving the chicken and waffles and the duck confit hash, items that many of us planned to order! I did not like my iced latte but the orange juice was delicious. We ended up ordering a number of things from the shortened menu including omelettes, waffles, and the lox bagel. Everyone enjoyed their food! I'd definitely come back for lunch or dinner as I heard their food is good. Today confirmed it, but I probably won't be back for brunch unless they expand the menu again.

Yelp
Gigi, one of the bartenders made us feel right at home. We enjoyed the ambiance and the service. Thanks and we'll be back to see Gigi.

Yelp
Love the bright and modern ambience. Great selections from the bar, they especially have a decent selection on Japanese whiskeys. This is a great place for not only special occasions. If you just want to find a place to wine down for the week & have couple drinks this is a great spot to be. They do have valet parking in front of the hotel, which makes parking lot a lot easier. Everything we ordered was very delicious , ingredients used were very fresh. Great service. We also ordered a variety of drinks from tea to mock tails to some classic cocktails , all were very good. Yes, it is on the $$$ side, and if your budget allows, I do recommend to give this place a try.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with warm service and good food; but not great. Room = 5 stars Host / Greeting = 3 stars Service = 4 stars Food = 3 stars Bev = 5 stars They're clearly trying - they take pride in what they're doing - they care....but there were just too many issues with the food. Burger = dense and overcooked patty Squash = missing flavor and undercooked Brussels = mushy and vinegary Seafood Pasta was good. Mellon was a hit. Very very good. Sorry chef - I hate being this critical, but the room and bev program and service deserve better food.

Yelp
This is a really beautiful spot in the Conrad Hotel. The service was spectacular and the oysters and smoked fish dip were both great. I plan on adding this place to my regular rotation.
google avatar

Yelp
Enjoyable. The hamachi crude was elegant but could have used slight more citrus or spice. The tomato Soup was sublime and the cheesecake was so light but still on flavor profile.

Yelp
My colleagues and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Estuary; the food and service did not disappoint! The food was also presented wonderfully. I appreciate that the staff timed our first and second plates. We never had to ask for water. Prior to coming, we were a little confused with the conflicting menus from Yelp and walked in hoping to get some of the Maryland Crab Roll. However, we were told they no longer have that because of changes in partnerships. While a bit disappointed, there were still a lot on the menu that interested us. - Mapo mushroom: unique textures and delicious sauce with a bit of bite - Caesar food: a bit more dressing than I preferred but the light taste of bacon made it delicious - Oysters: fresh and meaty - Hush puppies: just the right amount of Maryland roll (our consensus for not getting the crab roll) - seafood carbonara: I didn't have but my two colleagues had and said it was great. It was served beautiful too! I would definitely have next time. - steak: cooked just the way my colleague asked - seared rockfish: amazing. Seared just right, fish was flaky; the kale was cooked just right. And the sauce was delicious and did not overpower the fish The only downer is the charred Brussels sprouts. It was to the point of burnt and we could not eat. We mentioned to the captain who stopped by to check on us and only told us it was supposed to be charred and didn't do anything for us. I would have expected him to take it off especially seeing that we left most of the dish uneaten. But overall, it was a nice surprise for a restaurant. You never know with a restaurant inside a hotel. The decor in the restaurant lobby was also beautifully done and the hotel from the inside looked very interesting.

Yelp
We were staying at the Conrad so decided to have dinner at Estuary. The cocktails were fabulous. We did the tasting menu, one of us the fauna and one the seafood. The appetizer courses were delicious. The pig ear lettuce wraps especially believe it or not. The main courses, lobster and duck, were okay but not as good. The desserts, an apple crumble and a custard were great. All in all a very good meal!

Yelp
I had been meaning to try Estuary for some time now and it did not disappoint. We went for dinner, and it turned out that they had extended restaurant week, so we decided to partake in a six-course meal option and also ordered some items from the regular menu. The atmosphere is classy and inviting and the service was attentive. I would probably give the food four stars overall and the presentation five stars. Overall, I think this is a suitable place for both special occasions and a nice evening out. I would certainly visit again and may plan to try the brunch offered on the weekend sometime soon.

Yelp
Visited Estuary for brunch and it was phenomenal beyond expectations. They really revamped their menu and the care they put into their new menu items really showed. Some of my favorites include the Maryland crab roll (the buttered brioche bun is incredible) and the duck hash. I usually don't care much for breakfast potatoes but the potatoes here are incredible--I believed they are both friend and baked to get them extra crispy! If you are able to, try to snag a window seat. It's so lovely getting to people watch over City Center while you dine!

Yelp
My husband and I love to try new restaurants. We had a great experience at Estuary but I'm not sure we'd go back. It's quite pricey and while the food was good, it wasn't amazing. We got the pig ears for an appetizer which were yummy and different. My stuffed quail was tasty but it needed something to round it out. It felt incomplete. My husband enjoyed his steak and really loved the potatoes. It was his birthday so we got the free dessert which was fine but nothing special. It just felt like a restaurant for people who are a little fancier than we are. We don't regret going but it's likely we won't go back. Our server was amazing! Don't remember her name but she was the perfect level of helpful and attentive.

Yelp
Despite it being hidden it serves fine dishes cooked with fresh ingredients and is paired with excellent service.

Yelp
Lunch today was at Estuary (@estuaryconraddc), located on the third floor of the Conrad hotel. This restaurant is gorgeous and has great views of downtown DC. I imagine this is the kind of place that DC power players make deals over martinis and handshakes...And change the course of our entire lives... But I digress...On to the food! For starters we got the Crispy Pig Ears. On the bottom of the bowl is nuoc cham. And piled on top are crispy, snackable, craveable, perfectly fried strips of pig ears. Served with some bibb lettuce, red onions, and herb bouquet, and lime. Eat the pig ears on their own or grab a few and wrap them up in the bibb lettuce with some onions, onions, herbs, and a squeeze of lime and it's a perfect bite. Next was a warm bowl of tomato soup. Perfect on this cold and blustery day. For the main, I got Braised Short Rib served on cheese grits, campfire cream, watermelon radish, and charred broccoli. The short rib was fork tender, the cheese grits so creamy. The watermelon radishes offered a nice respite between the rich bites of beef and cheese. For dessert, a banana cream tart. A fancy version of banana pudding. Banana cream in a puff pastry bowl with caramel sauce and chocolate. Lunch was spectacular and I highly recommend Estuary. A fantastic experience.

Yelp
The food was delicious! The first time that my son finished his food on his own, and he even ate Brussel sprouts! It was very tasty! The staff were all amazing. and the place is so beautiful.

Yelp
So so so good! Went for brunch with my friend from out of town and we both got the brisket burgers and OMG they were amazing. Also not to be outshined were the potatoes that came with the burger. Perfectly cooked with a bit of a crunch, exactly like I like. We also ordered two apps that didn't end up coming but our server was super apologetic and still brought one out and offered it on the house which was very kind of him. Also although we didn't partake they had a Barbie Dreamhouse Collection of drinks which looked adorable! I am already planning my return trip.

Yelp
Estuary restaurant is a culinary gem nestled in the heart of the city. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu is a celebration of seasonal ingredients and innovative flavors, with each dish expertly crafted to delight the senses. Whether you're indulging in the chef's tasting menu or savoring a la carte selections, every bite is a culinary masterpiece. With its impeccable service, elegant ambiance, and exceptional cuisine, Estuary restaurant is a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts and discerning diners alike.

Yelp
The reception at checkin was a little iffy - but then we found out that he'd been there for just a month. So, ok. We were shown to a window table - lovely. My husband and I shared a Caesar salad and the seafood carbonara. The Caesar salad was delicious, rendered more so, by the touch of bacon, whoch enhanced the dressing and Parmesan cheese. The seafood carbonara was absolutely delicious with fresh, seafood (clams, shrimp, fish) and Chinese sausage. The whole dish was enhanced by the crunch of trout roe in every bite. When we asked for bread, we were surprised by Yorkshire pudding with delicious creamy butter. We got more to sop up the casauce. We enjoyed the whole meal with very dry and cold martinis, while watching the setting sun and the street-life view below. I have to warn you- it's pretty pricey, but worth it (especially since we shared!)

Yelp
Pretty big disappointment after seeing the positive reviews for this restaurant. While the staff is polite and helpful and the ambience and interior design is beautiful, the food is a huge let down. Their starter popovers (complimentary) were burnt and tasted charred. The starter beets were good --they were cooked but still a bit hard though. The crudo which was used yellowtail was very fishy and really small portions for a $30 dish. The smoked cabbage was actually Napa cabbage with kimchi fried rice. It was fine but the flavor was pretty one-note (the flavor of kimchi was overpowering). The old bay fries were fine but very standard. The main course was a $95 whole grilled fish we split between two people. While I understand a lot of the cost came from the caviar and fish roe, it definitely felt overpriced for what it was. The menu itself didn't have much seafood entree options despite proclaiming to be a seafood-oriented restaurant. We finally tried the milk chocolate crepe brûlée and this was not a crime brûlée at all. It was more like a bittersweet chocolate mousse. Really disappointing as well since we were expecting a crime brûlée. Overall, despite the nice staff and decor, it was definitely not worth the price for the quality of food and I wouldn't recommend the food to others.

Yelp
Swanky. Nice views. Excellent service. Great food. Friendly everywhere from doorman to water server. Diverse and well represented staff. Casual or smart dress, seemed inclusive. Vegetarian and GF options. Each dish seemed well prepared. I liked occas viewing the open kitchen when flames were going up. Newer chef. Nice delicate and strong flavors. Recommend pig ears. Rock fish. Duck. They have a veggie, seafood and game based tasting menu, FYI.

Yelp
Came here during the week last minute after a downtown event. We got right in through Opentable. We were seated at a nice table with a view in the bar area. They said the dining room was full of large parties. They had definitely changed the layout since I was there awhile back (pre covid) but it was still nice. We started with a red wine that seemed too warm and they quickly chilled it for 5 min. Although a seafood restaurant, I opted for the lamb cassoulet. It was delicious. Portion was perfect. I started with Caesar salad and we split it. It had a great crunch versus croutons. And the anchovies were in the dressing. Delicious! We picked the odd dessert and it was odd. It was a panna cotta with granola and some jelly thing on top. It tasted like breakfast and I do not recommend. The sorbet flavor of the day was banana Isuzu and sounded good. Service was perfect.

Yelp
First, don't do what we did and wait for "Estuary" to open for Sunday brunch. Brunch is actually serviced in the Blue Willow Room down the hall. Atmosphere - Gorgeous! The decor both inside and out is breaktaking. Get your camera ready to take lots of pictures. Customer Service - On par with any service I've had at a fine dining or Michelin Star restaurant. We felt doted on. Food - Beautiful, elevated, sophisticated, yummy, and still filling. My dish was so good. I loved the grilled toast and the fresh avocado. The mimosas were the perfect balance of juice and spirits. My daughter loved her cinnamon roll; and my husband truly enjoyed his steak and eggs. The fresh fruit was colorful and sweet. Overall, I would definitely go back, especially to see how their menu differs for the seasons. Give this place a try.

Yelp
Estuary to put it simple has become our new DC hangout. Maybe to the point of addiction as I've found myself back 6 times in 2 months and I live in MN. I think I have a problem.
google avatar

Yelp
Estuary is a beautiful soaring space with views to match.  The food is good and whoever is saying the portions are small must have an even greater appetite than we do and believe me - that's not easy!  The restaurant is conveniently located and is very easy to navigate for someone who may have challenges with mobility.  Both inside and out, the expanses are soaring. The restaurant entry foyer has a high, high ceiling and then your table overlooks the city.  We really enjoyed where we sat because you could admire both DC and the bustle in the kitchen.  To start, we enjoyed the cocktails we shared, the Paloma and the Smoke is in the Air.  We appreciated the bread service as well as the hushpuppies we ordered.  Hearing the portions were small, we also ordered the crispy pig ears and the smoked fish dip.  There were several other starters we would have been happy to try as well.  As I mentioned, we found the portions to be generous and probably would have not gone home hungry had we stopped there.  But, we all ordered entrees and, despite our best efforts, ended up taking a lot of food home.  The very good side of this was that we were able to enjoy a couple of other meals at home. For entrees, we had the seared rockfish which was meaty and delicious as was the rabbit.  Too full for dessert (something which almost never happens!) we left Estuary very well satisfied and looking forward to returning again soon.   Maybe next time we will pace ourselves better and not order so much. Or, maybe we will do the exact same thing and enjoy the leftovers at home.

Yelp
Dinner at Estuary was phenomenal, with good service, creative food artfully presented, and fresh ingredients. The standout dish for me was the ceviche. I wish I got a photo of it! While it was small in size for the price you pay, it was amazing. Market fish was tastefully mixed with citrus, mild Fresno chiles, avocado, and toasted rice which added some crunch. The whole thing was topped off with what looked like a mound of bread crumbs but it was actually a shaved ice sauce - made with Calamansi or another citrus. As you ate it the melt of the shaved ice sauce, combined with fresh fish and a light crunch, it was amazing. The rockfish was also cooked well, with perfectly crispy skin. This entree had a much better portion compared to the ceviche, with two filets included. The coconut green curry sauce was a good compliment to the fish as well. Ambiance was upscale; I chose the traditional seating area but they also had more reclining seat/lounge in the front of the restaurant. Highly recommend for a $$$-$$$$ seafood dinner.

Yelp
After "checking us in ..." they finally were allowed to seat us. Ok. Chose off the small menu and when the food came, it looked nice. The potato pancakes were gluggy, so they did kindly switch them out for another dish. My dish - the salmon on the bagel - should have come with a steak knife. I couldn't cut it, and I sure couldn't eat it in my finger as everything kept dropping off. There were one or two things I wasn't impressed with, but at least the staff were pleasant and the decor was lovely. Seeing as it was quite expensive for breakfast, I'd probably be inclined to try elsewhere near the hotel during our stay, but it's definitely convenient for many, I'm sure.

Yelp
Great floor to ceiling glass and nice views! The menu is good and we enjoyed the meal including duck and smash burger. The were both great and high quality meat. The wine was fabulous too!

Yelp
I went here for Thanksgiving dinner. The Thanksgiving dinner included a 3 course meal along with a champagne toast to start. The food was delicious. They also accommodated my mushroom allergy. The ribeye was marinated with mushrooms, so instead, I was given a New York strip steak which was delicious. However, I do wish that the sides were hot. Some of them were room temperature or cold. There was a dessert buffet table with multiple options. I really enjoyed the purple, sweet potato cheesecake. The service was very good. Overall, I would come back here for another holiday dinner.
google avatar

Michaele S.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying this will be a very expensive meal for you. I feel like a lot of the price is the experience as well. We started off with the chilled smoked rockfish dip and that was very delicious. You can ask for more bread if you run out. On the topic of bread, they bring bread to the table but it's not very tasty and I think I remember it just tasting ljke eggs. We then had the roasted oysters which I'm not a big fan of oysters but they did look good. I had the spice crusted lamb and that was absolutely amazing so 9/10 for that. Dessert was very disappointing. It was made to look very fancy and artisan but had no flavor. Both desserts tasted bland even though they had so many different elements. There was a blueberry something and that was probably the better of the two that I had.

Yelp
Our first trip to Washington, DC in 20+ years and we wanted to check out the CityCenterDC. The Conrad is right next door with the Estuary Restaurant. It looked nice, quiet and comfortable. We ordered the Caesar Salad, Shrimp Cocktail, Smoked Cabbage on Kimchi Fried Rice and Short Rib. All were pretty solid and unique. And can't forget the pretzel buns which was a nice bonus. The service and ambiance is great. We enjoyed our experience.
google avatar

Andrew K.

Yelp
I came here for midday snacks and the brunch. I tried their smash burger which came with 2 patties and a half dozen oysters which were great. For brunch, I tried their chicken waffle which was really good and the md crab Benedict was my favorite with huge chunks of lump crab meat. The duck confit has was just ok for me. The service was also great and ambiance is great.

Yelp
If I could give this restaurant 10 I would. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable. Arguably one of the best restaurants I have been to in awhile. A must recommended, and will absolutely be going back. I'm

Yelp
Visited this gorgeous property with my partner for Easter Brunch. The decor was modern and enticing. It was spring themed and adorned with Easter eggs. Very cute. We ordered: 2 Sorbet Mimosas (raspberry and blood orange) with Prosecco atop-good idea and the sorbet was delicious but it was less of a drink and more of an ice cream. Wouldn't recommend this. Unless more Prosecco is added The Chicken & Waffles-not a huge portion but also not tiny. Honestly just enough. Chicken was fried to perfection and had a tasty sauce on top. Waffle was fresh and not overcooked. The short rib breakfast sandwich-it was huge and filled me up. a very good size especially for the price. There was a complimentary dessert bar with delicious treats. Our server Mark was friendly and knowledgeable. He recommended some great dishes and was very attentive.

Yelp
Absolutely stunning restaurant with beautiful views of the city. Came here for our final dinner while in DC for an early birthday celebration for yours truly. My sister booked the place knowing what a foodie I am and was hoping to catch a glimpse of the Voltaggio brothers - sadly, we did not and little did we know, they were no longer even affiliated with this restaurant. =( But nevertheless, we enjoyed our night. The place is located on the third floor of the Conrad hotel. It's an open kitchen concept which I always appreciate seeing. Drinks were delicious and high quality. They start you off with some warm popovers instead of your standard bread offering. We started with the smoked rockfish dip and the feta panna cotta. Rockfish was a bit salty for my liking but I loved loved loved the feta panna cotta. Was absolutely delicious - had a nice freshness with a pop of crunch with the fresh veggie crudite. I would order this again and again. We split the half chicken and fried whole fish (that night's offering was Black Sea bass). Both were cooked very nicely and seasoned perfectly. A bit small for the price you pay but both were very tasty. Any sides are a la carte. Service was exceptional and top notch all around - from our initial greeting to the server who was kind enough to snap pictures of these 3 crazy RI women to memorialize the night. They brought out a dessert to celebrate our birthday shenanigans - I can't tell you what it was at all but it was delicious! This was a great ending to our weekend getaway!

Yelp
3 /12 stars. Nice atmosphere and upscale modern decor. I wished some of the food matched up to its quality. We tried the cripsy pig ears, hush puppies with crab meat, and the bouillabaisse. the highlight was definitely the crispy pig ears. Fried very well, not too oily and packed with flavors. Its accomapined by lettuce that you can wrap it around, which goes really well. Thw hush puppies were good, but it did not come with tat much crab inside. The bouillbaise broth was good and shrimp and clams was solid, but the fish was pretty dry, even when dipped in the sauce. Overall it was a decent experience. Maybe next time I will try their fauna (meat) dishes.

Yelp
We came here for my mom's birthday and it was really amazing. We rarely go places and enjoy every single thing but this place was really awesome. They have excellent service, staff is super friendly and nice, ambiance is superb. They made my mom feel really special on her birthday. In regards to the food, we had avocado toast, crab Benedict and blue omelette... all fantastic. They brought us a cinnamon bun and we never eat this type of thing but it was absolutely delicious. My mom is a chef so it is very hard to please her taste buds, this place impressed her a lot. Big kudos to the hostesses, chef, staff and management...you made my mom have a fabulous birthday.

Yelp
I just wanted to give a shout-out to "Mark C" at the Estuary Restaurant of the Conrad Hilton in Washington, D.C. Mark was our server during breakfast from 8/6-8/8/23. This was a very special trip for me and my husband as it is one of our last trips before we try to start a family. Mark made it so special and memorable for us with his kindness, attentiveness and thoughtfulness - every meal was enjoyable and he made us feel so warm and welcome at the Conrad. We understand how challenging and thankless the customer service industry can often be, and we hope that he will be recognized for the exceptional person that he is, and how he always went above and beyond, not only for us, but all the surrounding customers. The Hilton is very lucky to have him as a part of their team. We will never forget Mark, and hope that he will continue to do well in his career and endeavors. On a side note - we only ate breakfast here during our stay. But the food was exceptionally delicious - the ingredients are fresh, portion size is fairly generous, and everything was well seasoned! The only item I wouldn't recommend is the "crab Benedict", but the fruit plates, side of country potatoes, smoothies, avocado toast, fried chicken and waffle were highlights for us!

Yelp
This establishment is located inside a hotel. I just live the ambiance of this place and the service is excellent. The drinks are pretty pricy but you get what you pay for. I ordered an expression martini and it was very strong and flavorful. The bartender provided many recommendations and had many years in the hospitality industry.

Yelp
I enjoyed my dinner here! The service was not that great. Our server was not attentive and he took a while to get our orders etc. But the food was great! I tried the pig ears and fish dip for the appetizers. For the entree I order the flat iron steak. So delicious!

Yelp
Note: This is a place that focuses on quality over quantity, so I'll judge it as such. I think there's definitely more to be desired & explored here. The dishes are interesting, but not enough to justify their price point. I can't discern if it's my preference for spice and heat, or the dishes' tendency towards the sweeter side. I always felt that each of the dishes could use more spices, except for the summer melons. It's hard to recommend this place, but I would say curb your expectations.

Yelp
Exceptional in all ways... the rockfish dish was divine leaving my palette pleased and intrigued. The ambiance and decor modern chic yet warm and welcoming. But the best part of my experience was being so kindly welcomed by the staff and my server, Will, as I sat alone at the bar for dinner. Although I live nearby in Maryland, I am staying at the Washington DC Conrad Hilton Hotel for a conference so I'm definitely coming back!
