When your in Fresno you must make a stop and let yourself be welcome by the most friendly and attentive staff. This pizza was the best we have tried in all California. We will drive from any distance to get a slice. Definitely recommend the Pinnacles PBR detroit style pizza, the Hawaiian pizza and the Carnivore Pizza with a side of salad. The hot honey sauce was the highlight of the Pinnacles PBR pizza slice. The meats and the sauce alongside the perfect dough made at the perfect temperature resulted in the best crunchy pizza we have tried.

We Found this place by default because all the other places were packed on our last day before we were leaving. It’s a good thing we did because the food was superb. The salads lettuce was fresh as fresh can be, the ricotta was super fresh. Detroit pizza was phenomenal and the California pizza was good too. Don’t miss out. Small dinning area,

Online ordered a Med Detroit and Med California Round Margherita pizzas. The sauce was nice and tangy. Dough was fluffy and crisp. The California pizza could have used more Basil. Garlic Knotts were good. The pizzas were promptly made and notification was on point. Customer service was good.

small diner in pizza shop, only a handful of tables but the pizza is SO GOOD. we got the peach pizza with basil, ricotta and honey and it was everything! the owner is friendly, the pizza is fresh, the cost is in line with the product. the crust was light and crispy and so perfect.

Never thought I would say Annesso’s, Diciccos, and Me and Ed’s has competition. I will display photos but let me explain why a box is empty, “ because my husband ate it before I could take a photo” and that was the berry dessert. I absolutely loved this place the owner and staff were very nice and exceptional service I was impressed. I have been a connoisseur of Pizza always. If you decide never to try this place you will be disappointed. PS, the pizza is baked to perfection so don’t ask for it well done and don’t forget to order the berry dessert also if it’s to go get the mascapone on the side so it doesn’t melt on your way home.

Really great pizza, great service and quiet environment! This location is a bit hidden but nonetheless I would return! We had the pinnacles PBR Detroit style and garlic knots.

Recommended by a friend to try when I came thru Fresno. Its a casual, hole in the wall shop that makes outstanding pizza with locally sourced ingredients. Several creative choices on the menu. Got a Pinnacle PBR on the way up to Yosemite and a berry bliss dessert pizza on the way home. Soooooo good!

Detroit-style is my favourite type of pizza. I first learned about it in FL and was delighted when I found that it was available in CA so I had to try it. There was one girl working, she took the order, cooked the pizza, delivered it to the table, the whole 9 yards. It tasted very good for her having to do everything. Still prefer the one I had in FL if I'm being honest but as I said, it still tasted very good. Definitely give them a try.

The service was amazing! The woman who was helping us was very nice and energetic! The food came out fresh and quick! The wait was only about 15mins for all 3 items we ordered. When we got there late Saturday night (7:30pm ish) it was pretty empty with only 1 other man inside with us. It was very clean and felt very well put together! The food was excellent! We got the Pinnacle BBR (Detroit style) and the Underground Gardens (cali style) along with the garlic cheese bread. Both pizzas were excellent! The garlic cheesy bread was just alright. It sounded extremely good at the time but it turned out to be much closer to "eh". I'd get it again if I were craving cheese bread, but I would opt to skip it in general. Overall, everything was delicious and the service was fantastic!!

I wanted to come back to this pizza place for a while now. We had a Yelp elite event and that was when I got the opportunity of trying this place. I ordered the Detroit pizza cheese and Basil. Once I ate it I was in heaven. It hit the spot. It didn't disappoint. The cheese on the sides was crispy and on the middle was soft. The tomato flavor had great taste. The crust was so good. I ordered on line so they texted me once it was ready. It was very convenient. The service was great.

The standout was the Pinnacle PBR, which left such an impression that I came back for more. On my return visit, I ordered the Valley Deluxe, available in both Detroit-style (which I chose) and round California-style. It is their take on a classic combination pizza -- topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage, bacon, red onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, garlic, basil, and house red sauce. The Valley Deluxe delivered an impressive balance of flavors and textures. The salty pepperoni, spicy sausage, and earthy mushrooms complemented the fresh peppers and fragrant basil beautifully. The crust was golden brown, light and chewy inside, with just the right amount of crisp on the edges. The sauce was rich and layered with savory, sweet, and tangy notes. Each slice looked as good as it tasted -- fresh toppings, generous cheese, and an inviting aroma. Service was friendly and attentive, matching the quality of the food. The restaurant itself is tucked behind major businesses near the corner of West Nees and North Palm Avenues. Though small in size, it is a hidden gem -- one of the few spots in the Central Valley specializing in Detroit-style pizza. Every item, from pizza to garlic bread, is prepared with care and top-notch ingredients. I only wish I had discovered this place sooner. 99 Craft Pizza is a true standout -- delicious, satisfying, and one of the best pizza experiences I have had in quite some time.

Hands down some of the best pizza I've ever had -- the kind that makes you pause mid-bite and question every life choice that led you to lesser slices. The dough...Perfectly crisped! The staff? The pizza was really tasty overall! I wasn't too impressed by the marinara sauce or the lack of flavor in the Detroit-style crust, but everything else made up for it. The garlic knots were super garlicky in the best way possible, and the California round pizza was my favorite, the mix of sweet and spicy flavors was perfect. I love how creative they are with their toppings; every slice feels like the perfect bite. The only thing that threw me off was the vibe, the restaurant looks more like a grab-and-go or order-by-the-slice spot, but the pizza quality feels more upscale. It's tucked away in a hidden location, but definitely worth checking out. With a bit more of an artisanal vibe, this place could really thrive. John, one of the owners, hosted a Yelp Elite event, but it felt like his staff wasn't fully prepared or welcoming. As Yelp Elites, we're there to support local spots and bring in the foot traffic that helps keep doors open, so enthusiasm goes a long way. I was also put off by John's comments about customer feedback. Yelp exists to help businesses stay accountable and consistent. The experience didn't feel very personal or connected; his story about 99 and Detroit Pizza came across more like a generic business concept than something authentic or rooted in passion.

Ambiance average & service was mixed (2 ppl, one not great as he seemed annoyed & didn't know about the Yelp Elite event despite it being late afternoon on the second day but other guy was fine). The double pepperoni Detroit was good but also really salty. Would've liked more sauce too. The regular cheese was ok but the crust, as you can see, was pretty dark to outright burned. Not a great representation of the product IMO. Appreciate their participation in the Yelp Elite event tho.

Great customer service, great pizza definitely will be coming back. I enjoyed the salad the cheesy bread I asked for my pizza to be crispy. My daughters loved it , places nice and clean. Got to meet the owner. He's super friendly, And he said he would like to get involved a lot more and give back to the community . Maybe he can sponsor the football team and the volleyball team at St. Helen's Catholic School. I'm definitely coming back with my husband, he loves pizza more than he loves me and I know he will enjoy the pizza at this establishment..

It's the only true New York-style pizza I've found in the area, and the owner is genuinely committed to meeting everyone's taste. Whether you're after that classic thin, crisp New York crust or something heartier like Detroit-style, they've got you covered. They also excel at specialty pies and offer great options for vegetarians. The Underground looked incredible. Don't sleep on this one -- seriously.

To say this pizza is good is an understatement! I tried multiple different pies and loved them all! I highly suggest the PBR. Pepperoni, Basil and Ricotta. Unbelievable. They also excel in dessert pizza! I tried the berry pizza and the peach, which is seasonal. Loved them both! The garlic knots were cooked perfectly and had lots of fresh garlic! Incredibly friendly staff and service. Their are plenty of seats in a nicely decorated and clean restaurant. The owner John was very personable and shared about his pizza. Great place!

Great experience here. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The owner was kind and greeted me while I was waiting. This was my first time being here. It's a clean, family-friendly place with the set up and music. I was really excited to try the Detroit style pepperoni pizza and absolutely loved it.

If you want a good Detroit style pizza, this is your spot! I had to try the pinnacles because the ricotta and hot honey intrigued me. The ricotta adds a nice creaminess and a slight sweetness to the bite. Wish they'd put more on it! The hot honey wasn't hot at all to me and some extra spiciness would've rounded out all the flavors nicely. Loved the thick crust and crispy edges. Service was quick and friendly. Lots of tables for a smaller space, but not crowded. Will definitely be back to try some other flavors, the cheese bread, the berry basil bliss, and cinnamon roll focaccia.

This restaurant is perfect for casual dining or family outings. You order at the counter and they bring the pizza to the table; there a self-serve fountain machine for drinks. Pizza was a little overhyped and looks better than it tasted in my opinion. Don't get me wrong- still a good pizza but nothing impressive. The dough was thick and fluffy, but a little floppy so toppings slipped right off. Garlic knots lacked flavor like pre-chopped jarred garlic was used or something, but the bread paired well with the marinara sauce.

This pizza place was absolutely amazing, with some of the most caring and attentive customer service I've ever experienced. The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and truly make you feel valued. And most importantly the pizza was hands down the best you can get in Fresno. I can't recommend this place enough, 10/10. This will definitely be my go-to spot from now on!

I came here yesterday and got the PBR Detroit style and I have to say it was excellent. I am not a Detroit style guy but damn it was good. The dough was perfect!

This has got to be my favorite pizza place hands down!I've been here a handful of times and always order the Detroit style pinnacles PBR. The hot honey and ricotta cheese just add a nice touch and boosts the flavor profile. The dining area is pretty small it's best for up to 4 people with the current seating arrangements unless you don't mind sitting at different tables.

Ordered a large pinnacles pizza Detroit style. They forgot the red sauce on top, and there was barely any ricotta. Felt like I was just eating cheese bread :/

Was in the mood for pizza, heard about this place and decided to give it a try. We ordered heat and sweet which has jalapeños, bacon, and I believe honey in cali style. Also ordered the garlic knots. Pizza wise it was delicious. I liked the type of dough they used. It doesn't taste heavy at all. Flavors all blended well in one bite. Garlic knots are okay. Personally I preferred them in bite size but it's okay. Service was prompted and friendly. We placed an order over the phone and in about 20 mins, we were able to pick it up. Overall definitely recommended this place!

Mid pizza fr I saw someone on TikTok talk about this place and I was excited. I ordered the garlic bread and a margherita pizza with half pepperoni. They gave us the wrong pizza and forgot to give us our 2 sides of ranch. The pizza tasted bland. The cheese garlic bread did too. Kind of sad about it being mid but I guess it's good to branch out and try new places. Nice environment I guess. It was small.

Seen this place on tik tok, decided to try. I will say I enjoyed the pizza, I thought it was pretty good but the male worker was kind of cold, no hospitality. Almost hit us in the face with the door. Didn't even say a word to us. Even when asking him a question he'd just nod & walk away. Seemed annoyed he had to be there. We had the pepperoni pizza & Unfortunately an hour after eating here my stomach started feeling off. I've been running to the bathroom multiple times tonight with diarrhea ugh. Will not return. Ever.

12/27/2024 came in at noon. 2nd time trying this place, first time coming into the establishment. The lady at the counter was very nice and the place was very clean. I ordered the large Detroit carnivore with ranch and jalapeños on the side The jalapeños were nice and spicy. It was delicious. Overall experience was great. Great pizza, great service and great atmosphere.

My 1st Detroit Style Pizza. Pinnacle PBR pizza was an excellent choice. I dont eat out often but when I do I get the good stuff. Pizza tasted as good as it looked. Friendly staff, chill vibe, great area with ample parking even while it being peak lunchtime.

The Chicago crust was absolutely perfect, fluffy and not too dense. Sauce has so much flavor and they use the best vegan cheese ever! Owner and staff were friendly and I love supporting local establishments. We have found our new favorite pizza place in Fresno!!!

OMG...this is some of the BEST pizza i have ever had! i'm not a huge fan of pizza with a lot of sauce and, of course, traditional detroit-style pizza has those sauce racing stripes, but i'm willing to deal with it here because the crust is sooooo delicious! the california style is really floppy, but, once again, it's worth dealing with because the pizza itself is sooooo yummy! i usually get the spicy hawaiian without the bacon (because the bacon is really thick) but all of the pizzas are great. it's a pizza spot i actually crave!

Ordered online and the order was made on time. The pizza was not cold when ordered to go. I would say I am not a huge fan but I can see the appeal of the pizza. There was plenty of sauce but the crust was a bit dry and hard. Would definitely go back and try other options

We tried 99 Craft Pizza for the first time yesterday, and I was so impressed. I ordered the Double Pepperoni California-style pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. I called in my order, and the process was super easy. When I went to pick it up, the location was nice and clean and the customer service was great. My daughter and I agreed that this is now our favorite pizza spot in Fresno. Can't wait to go back!

This little gem showed up when I searched "Detroit style" and OMG is it good. Awesome friendly staff - small dining room but clean and smelled amazing.

The older gentleman cooking the pizza gave me sarcasm with no smile, it is perceived as rude as if he wasn't playing around. I said I'm picking up and he said , "you think or you are?" I placed the order myself, like come on man, have some respect. The cashier was nice and very respectful and made it less awkward. I do not like to feel like a criminal, I'm supporting a small business and drove out 30 min from where I live to try this place, that was recommended to me by a coworker. I spent $80 here and in this economy, that's crazy for 2 and a half pizzas. I wish my first experience was different. Atmosphere felt odd as if I was looked down upon, no smiles or greetings. Just another customer I guess.

First time coming here for a pickup and I was disappointed. We did the order online, knew they'd be busy cause it's Friday night. We showed up in the time frame and we're told they never received the order then they said found our order and said they were still working on it. Got a text saying our order would be ready 20 minutes later. We got our pizza and it was hardly warm. The chicken garlic pizza was not hot at all not even warm. The cheesey garlic bread was the warmest but still not much. I don't understand how they were still working on our order and it wasn't even warm. The pizzas tastes good, expected more of a garlic flavor in the chicken pizza and cheesy bread though & definitely would have been better hot.

Delicious Detroit Style Pizza! We ordered the Pinnacles PBR. Such a well curated pizza- all the toppings complimented each other really well. The dough was airy & pillowy soft with right amount of chew, and the edge was crispy/crunchy! We met the owner, John. He was very friendly and greeted us as we walked in. The staff was kind & accommodating. This was a new lunch stop on our way home (OC, CA) from Yosemite. We will definitely be back!

I can't believe it's been 9 months since the last time I was here. I couldn't stop thinking about that crispy gluten free deep dish/Detroit style pizza. This time I added artichoke hearts on my red top pizza. So yummy. Half of the pizza didn't make it home. Are it in the car.

Wasn't what I expected. We recently seen the dale Yurong Video and thought it would be a good place to try but once we got there we found out that video was two years old. The place was dirty and the pizza wasn't very good. I wouldn't go there again.

Was recommended by a few people to try this place. Finally decided to try today. Great pizza! We just ordered a medium pepperoni. They used the little cup pepperoni. Pizza had great taste, the crust was delicious, airy and crisp. The place is small but welcoming. The lady working behind the counter was very nice. Definitely recommend this place! Next time we will try their Detroit style.

The crust was perfectly crispy, the cheese melted and the toppings were well balanced: all bites were hot, tasty and satisfying. If you're after truly satisfying pizza, this is the place to go.

Hmmm. Alright, so the pizza is like the older, more mature Little Caesar's deep crust (I can't be the only person who has thought this?). The texture & taste of the crust reminds me of their Deep Crust pizza. Obviously it's not the same, but that's just what I get from it. Now, the pizza itself is ok, the garlic cheese bread is pretty awesome & would have no issues ordering that by itself! A medium pizza consist's of 4 slices (Detroit Style) & cost along the lines of $16-$18 Detroit Style depending on the pizza. You get 8 bread sticks that are thick, so it kind of works for $17. For me, $40 is expensive for what I got. All in all, friendly staff, place is clean & had good service.

99 Craft Pizza is one of my favorite pizza spots in Fresno. So much so, that it was the first meal I had my husband grab for me after giving birth to our baby in May. The Pinnacles PBR pizza Detroit style is our go-to, but we do also enjoy the garlic chicken California style as well. The thick crust with the crispy bottom on the Detroit style is oh so delightful. If you're a garlic lover like myself, you'll definitely have to add an order the garlic knots to go with your pizza! We usually order to-go, but there is a handful of places to sit which include regular height tables, as well as a few high top tables with stools.

Crispy crust, gooey cheese, and toppings loaded just right. Every bite was hot and flavorful. If you're craving real, satisfying pizza this is the spot.

Only place in Fresno that serves Detroit style pizza. Store is small but has a fun little atmosphere.

This place is one of my fav finds in the last year. You can build your own pizza but I would definitely try their signature pizzas. I've been here 3 times now, and this last time we ordered a Detroit style AND California style. Best Detroit pizza ever. But I really enjoyed the California style a lot! I just love the ingredients of the pinnacle PBR pizza ( pepperoni, ricotta, fresh basil, and honey). Chef's kiss. It's a small hidden gem in north Fresno go check it out!

This used to be a great place. I have no problem paying $$ for quality food. This order was horrible. Small sizes and little to no toppings. See the pictures. $64 for This! No! Someone has to call this out and I have no problem doing it.

First time at 99 craft pizza and it did not disappoint. We ordered a Gilroy garlic chicken Detroit style and a pepperoni/bacon/hot honey California style. We preferred the California style and will stick to that next time. Not a lot of sauce on the pizza which is what we prefer. Fresh ingredients and quick service for pick-up orders. The sweet chili wings were great too!

I have been looking for great pizza and finally found amazingly delicious pizza and the staff is very friendly.

The pizza quality here is so much better than the main chains around Fresno! The sauce tastes good and you can tell it's all homemade. Pathetic only place in the area to offer "Detroit style" deep dish pizzas as well. Super nice owners, I definitely recommend this place
